Went there for dim sum (shrimp, beef, bbq pork bun, duck rice roll). Food was fresh and tasty, dim sum was one of the best ones we’ve had in Amsterdam. Prices were good too. Service was very slow and unorganised, it took forever to get anyone’s attention to indicate we wanna pay and leave. The restaurant wasn’t very busy. The ambience overall is okay, but nothing amazing. There’s a little bridge indoors with a tiny pond with fish, which we found cute.

Food not so amazing. Just average taste. Service really terrible. It took them 15-20 min to just take an order for drinks until then there was no one coming to the table to take an order. Restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Only 5-6 tables to the max!

Terrible, undercooked meat, sauce based just on ketchup, rice tastes like been passed through dishwasher. Choose kebab boys instead 😌

A pretty good Chinese restaurant with a variety of dishes to choose from

Food was pretty decent but the lady we ordered with messed up our order and instead of being polite about it she sounded angry and argued. After this she began to speak trash about me in cantonese to the table next to us.

Been a number of times and the food is always very good. Went again yesterday with a large group and the service is always friendly and helpful. Enough space and classic dishes for a good price.

Food was well prepared, deicious and satisfactory. Our whole family of 9, truly enjoyed all the dishes I bought. Maybe,if possible more gluten free dishes. Réception was friendly and helpful.

A gem outside the Amsterdam ring road. The food is authentic and fantastic. The dim sum dishes can also be ordered during dinner. This is often not possible at other Chinese restaurants. I am always happy to come back.

We were 7 adults and 2 small children. We had a very tasty meal. Mainly Dim Sum. Friendly service and expert in the field of allergens. We lacked nothing. Handy ordering system with QR code, but you can also order at the counter. Taking food home was no problem.

I ordered the chicken with the Sichuan sauce for takeaway. Unfortunately very blend food without carachter, disappointing when compared to other Chinese Sichuan Restaurants in town. I requested if I could switch the chicken with pork instead and the response was a straight "no possible!" without further explanations. Plus, the lady who served me put the boxes upside down in the bag with no cuttleries/parking, so I could not eat at the park as planned and half of the sauce was spilled out in the bag. :(

Unfortunately I can't say much about the atmosphere, but holy smokes what delicious food!!

Probably the only dim sum place in the neighborhood. Don’t expect too much from the restaurant. Some dim sums are commercial products (meaning you can technically find them in amazing oriental and heat it up in microwave oven yourself). Knowing that these are pre-made food, guess the pricing is a bit high but overall on the affordable range. Staff are overall friendly.

Decent restaurant with good food. Unfortunately, it is located in a district with perhaps the largest concentration of homeless people.

Went to this dim sum restaurant 12:30 in the afternoon, was not crowded. Food was good, a lot of choices to make, mostly very tasty and well made. The venue is well setup and decorated, even has a bridge over a small pond with koi fishes.. Will definitely come back and try other dishes. ps. The toilet is clean but needs some attention…. —- This evening we went for the 2nd time to this restaurant as we like the good! We had dinner around 19:00. As this was a Sunday, the place was quite busy. This time some waitress don’t speak Dutch/English well, but managed get the orders right. The dim sum dishes are good, the oysters my daughter ordered didn’t taste that good.

I had an extremely disgusting dining experience at this restaurant in Amsterdam. A fly actually crawled out from under the meat, and instead of apologizing, the staff tried to cover up the truth. The hygiene conditions here are truly concerning. I’ve never encountered anything like this at any other Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam. This place poses a serious health risk. 🤮

He is a real Chinese but it is difficult to understand the language. The waitress is very nice. The food was very delicious. I recommend the dumplings, the noodles with beef and the noodles with vegetables. Water is expensive so it is better to order from the tap.

It is a great restaurant in West. The portions were not all large, but it was tasty. The old Chinese woman was very present at our table and paid attention to everything. It was well-intentioned but also uncomfortable at times. We ordered from the menu.

The portion of food was too small. The air conditioner was not turned on. I told the clerk that there was no plug.

Received this restaurant as a tip. Located outside the center of Amsterdam. Highly recommended are the zhaliang (cheong fun with fried dough, 2nd photo), the fried wontons were also super tasty. Overall the dim sums were good. The large dishes are a bit mediocre, lacked some flavor. Hofan had little taste. Service was really substandard, there was a nice girl but there was also a very angry woman walking around who simply ignored us and made nasty comments. For example, when I asked if she could pack the remainder for us, she said "pack it? I'll give you a container and then you can do it yourself" okaaayy. I wouldn't go here again in a hurry.

Delicious food! They have good portions for the price. We usually go for Dim Sum, but dinner from the menu is also delicious. We have always received a friendly welcome and good help. Recommended

Food quality is different every time Sometimes good sometimes flavorless Hot tea is too hot. Also, they ask me to pay corkage fee for the juice I bought for my “kid”. No free tap water for customers. All tourist from the US should be awarded !!

Seeing shark fin soup on the menu is a bummer. Shark fins are illegal in NL.

Got food poisoning from their food today. This was one of my favourite Chinese restaurants, but lately it’s not that good anymore. Today I thought let’s give it another chance… which resulted in food poisoning and being sick for hours already. I don’t recommend to eat or order here.

The dishes are excellent and they are on the table quite quickly. The restaurant is very noisy and intense for people like me who are easily overstimulated. It is also quite warm inside. The service took quite a long time and not all dishes/drinks ordered were served. We were with a large group of people (20+). The staff is very nice

Food was lukewarm, service was poor/unprofessional. They forgot my (3 pieces) dim sum which I then waited an hour for (while the restaurant was almost empty). In addition, it was also very pricey for the quality they deliver.

The pick-up service is very fast and efficient. It’s maybe not the kindest service in the world, I think because of the fact that I don’t speak Dutch and we both are not English-native speakers. I'm amazed at the positive reviews here. Maybe the kitchen wasn't having its best day either. The service was friendly. The price is not justified for the dish we ordered. If only it had at least been edible...The first impression with the tattered menus says a lot.

Excellent mix between good local typical dishes and low quality takeaway. Furthermore, a typical Chinese restaurant with koi carp and statues of lions. Too bad they don't have rice tables or something like that.

I spent 150 euros here, and there was an extra 6 euros for tea. I also charged 4 euros for rice for dinner, and I didn’t even get any fruit or sugar water afterward.

This is a big Chinese restaurant with comfortable seats and delicious food. I will eat here every time I go to Arms.

We had dim sum for lunch and this time it's the quality that we are looking for in a good dim sum restaurant. Previously we ate dim sum here also but we thought it was just average. We tend to eat out at Fool Moon in The Hague which has one of the better dim sum that we know of but now it's going to be Golden Garden with an extra perk.... Its much closer to where we live 😁

We tried about 5 dishes and were terribly disappointed with the quality of the food for the price you paid. Simply had no taste, very bland. Absolute Red flag. Don't go.

Service was a bit slow for a Chinese restaurant. 😏 Some food came also way too late and not all together, we had to wait a long time for some vegetable dish, when it came we had already finished all the other food which we actually had to eat it with, not a lot of choice of dishes. Taste was also not the same as other better known Chinese restaurants in town.

Had a delicious Dim Sum this afternoon. Pork belly was also super flavorful and crispy. The audience is predominantly Asian, which is great, because then you know you can eat well! We will definitely come back!

Picked up food today on Christmas Day. This spring roll was dripping with fat and there was also a large amount of oil in the container. This has never been like this before. A chef works here who is confused or hates people. Watch out if they do something strange with you. do food.
