Went for dinner last night for a birthday. Lots of choice, reasonable food. But we all felt quite miserable because of the food. Lying sick in bed. We will never eat here again

I'm vegetarian. There weren't many vegetarian options. Also in the wok, your vegetables without meat were mixed in water with meat. Not just cucumber for shushi either. you could only have 1 roll made.

So much delicious food since the reopening. We go every month. The food is super fresh and drinks are included. You can have as much food and drink as you want.

Atmosphere and ambiance good. Was on a Monday. Food a lot tough and cold. Sushi was dry. There were tomatoes instead of strawberries. And the whipped cream machine was defective. We really thought this was a shame. Staff was very nice. Grill was great!

You give your food to be prepared, but the ones who do that don't care who gives what. They mix your food with that from others, throw here and there some on a plate and hope the customer picks it up. When confronted with their practice, they suddenly pretent not to be able to speak any western language. Go back to where you come from.

The buffet restaurant offers a wide choice of dishes, from fresh to deliciously prepared. The atmosphere is relaxed and ideal for groups. The food is replenished regularly and the staff is friendly.

Have been coming here for several years with complete satisfaction. Now after the reopening it has only gotten better. Excellent food, something for everyone in a pleasant atmosphere

I had a wonderful evening with my friends and family at De Gouden Wok Zuiderpark. The all-you-can-eat concept is perfect for those who like a lot of choice. From sushi to stir-fry dishes and from desserts to drinks, there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, ideal for catching up and enjoying all the goodies. The staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for a fun evening out with friends or family!

The food is not fresh. I pay €35 ( sosial deal) but i pay €39 for my children 10 years old. Its not worth it.

Never again, it has deteriorated so much

We do not recommend this to ANYONE. What a bad restaurant. The food is not worth your money at all, containers are not refilled at all. The staff doesn't speak Dutch, so they don't understand if you politely ask them to refill something... terrible. They don't look like they're looking forward to it either. See that everything needs to be refilled, but don't do it. The quality of the food is also really disappointing, only the grill is manageable. Food is super dry. Sushi looks very dry. You really don't have much choice. It is better to go to 'Restaurant Samen', also an all you can eat concept, but there you have MUCH MORE choice. And it's worth your money. Never again the Golden Wok. A waste of our money and time.

Very large but sufficient and above all professional staff. Lots of choice and if something was (almost) empty, it was replenished very quickly. We opted for 2 hours. DON'T. 2 and half hours is better and very little more expensive. This is an all you can eat and DEFINITELY worth repeating. Unfortunately, paid parking will apply from October 1.

I ate there 3 years ago with a friend from football and his colleagues, the food was delicious, 2 hours was more than enough, the only thing I don't like is that now that I have a girlfriend, we would also like to eat there, but she has had a stomach reduction. and give the excuse that it is not about the amount of food but about the experience, that is true, but if that is the case and it is not about money, you should also understand that her experience is over after one and a half potatoes or dumplings and a quarter of pak choi and two bits of bickering in which we as normal people have a much richer experience. Went on Saturday. The whole family is really sick, it's ridiculous. The toilets were dirty too! And that immediately at 5 o'clock (opening time). Food was also not very tasty. Waste of money. Everyone is really sick.

Simple but ok food for a reasonable price

Unfriendly welcome, had to pay first before we were allowed to sit down. Food already prepared was far too salty, the salmon too dry, salad bar had little choice. Garlic stir fry sauce too spicy, no, not worth repeating for me.

We had made a reservation, but people without a reservation were given priority for good seats. We are stuck somewhere in between. We don't get an answer as to why that is and if we don't like it we have to wait until something is released. The people behind the wok throw the plates as if they were feeding cattle. We used to enjoy coming here, unfortunately tonight was the last time.

Food was mediocre. Containers were empty quickly and were not filled very quickly during busy times. The staff at the checkout was not friendly or cooperative. Went with a large group, including 1 with a metabolic disease who cannot eat much and 1 with a stomach reduction. There was no consideration at all when I asked this and the response was blunt. Even when I asked if I could first put my residents on a chair due to the risk of falling, I was bluntly answered that I had to pay first and join the back of the long line. In the past, the golden wok had halal food (chicken/chops etc). They have quietly stopped doing this and do not indicate so. So a loyal customer who wants halal and thinks it is still that way will be disappointed. So no more halal!

Prices on the website are not correct. During the summer promotion there is no discount on birthdays, while this is stated on the site and this was normal last year. Food is very salty and not really warm and many empty containers.

From the comments of others, I presumed that the food would taste good. However, when me and my girlfriend arrived, flies were present over some of the foods. In addition, the food tasted dry and seemed to be gotten from packaged containers, and later heated. Even the drinks and the ice cream tasted odd and not what we expected. I would not recommend this to people.

The major disadvantage is the toilets! I think they should keep track of them better! Loose toilet seats, dirty toilet bowls and the toilet floor not very tasty. In short, there is an area for improvement!

The food is not very tasty. Some things were very salty. The crab is very tasty. The watermelon had no taste/sweet. The duck very dry and not tasty, tasteless. The wok lamb cutlet was also not tasty. Their spicy Japanese chicken was tasty. Born and raised in Surinamese, I am a gourmet. All in all it was really mediocre. 1 of the employees behind the wok was yawning with his mouth open and was also producing noise. Not for a moment did it show that he forgot to put his hand over his mouth. We didn't think that was possible. Other guests were also surprised. For me, golden wok is double wok.

Gouden Wok, a long-established All-in restaurant in The Hague. After the recent renovation it has not only become better, but also more beautiful. The attention to detail is clearly noticeable. It is a pity that there is no special play area for children after the renovation, which may be a loss for families with younger members. All in all, Gouden Wok remains an excellent restaurant. The culinary diversity and quality of dishes make it a firm favorite.

How I miss the old golden wok. The affordable prices. Due to the affordable prices you could often eat here. Now prices are skyrocketing. (See photo but don't be alarmed) Because calculating for 2 hours is an absurd amount of money to pay. And that for a simple golden wok. Now we come here once every six months because it is no longer worth the price. Apart from everything, there is extremely poor air ventilation inside. The place was renovated not long ago, but it is clear where they have cut corners. Don't expect civilized people to come and eat here! It's full of tattooed chicks here! Some in morning shirts and the sweatpants with slippers are unmissable. It spoils and ruins the whole atmosphere if you go for food. Too bad Gouden Wok doesn't pay attention to the dress code! Final conclusion Goudenwok, do something about the crazy prices! Corona is over, so the prices are dropping! There is no longer any reason for the high prices!!! And come with a dress code! Because now it looks just like the tent of club ma Flodder.

Surprisingly good, not expected, but not busy, lots of freshly made food and a good atmosphere!

I don't know why the ratings are so high. The restaurant is bad, I think the price is extremely expensive compared to the service and atmosphere. I've been to many "all you can eat" restaurants and this one is really bad. The employees are not very nice, the food is bad, it smells bad, the atmosphere is like a school canteen. Few people on Saturday evening, meaning their glory days are behind them.

After corona we went again with a group of elderly people. Food was okay...but few staff at the grill and wok. Employee forgot what you had given to grill...others took your dish...that was less. The lady at the checkout speaks incomprehensibly and unfriendly. The plus point was that after reporting a complaint...the management resolved the problem quickly and was nicer than the cashier. Another big plus is that stir-frying is done separately for vegetarians. The food was good...although some items were not replenished on time. We used to find the atmosphere and space more pleasant. The illuminated ceiling upon entering was very beautiful. All in all...€37.50 for 2 hours of food and drinks (no more wine and beer unfortunately)...not worth it. Expected more, won't go back.

The food is excellent and there is more than enough choice. From wok, to grill, to sushi and snack food. The pizza and pancakes taste especially good. Ideal to go with a larger group or with children (who can and should choose independently).

Atmosphere and service were decent. However, the food, except for the desserts, is terrible. There is quite enough choice, but most of the food is cold and/or not properly cooked. Quality of the meat is also very poor.

The furnishings and interior are great. The layout is also very clever. If you have stir-fry dishes, you can go straight to the wok; if you want to grill something, it can be grilled directly. All you can eat and drink is great and tasty, but some products dry out, so the taste is not as it should be, especially the prawn crackers.

I really like the food here. Well prepared and well seasoned. It is a very large restaurant. If you want an intimate dinner for two, this is not the place for you. But because the space is divided into parts, I find it quite cozy despite the size. It is ideal for groups and families. There is something for everyone, many food choices. And, what I think is very impressive: despite the large number of people, you rarely have to wait long at the wok, grill, etc. I think that is a real achievement! One downside: parking is a nightmare. Above the restaurant is a large banquet room, which is always open before the restaurant. There is a large parking lot, but it is full well before the restaurant opens. Then you have to park in the neighborhood. This is currently free, but soon you will have to pay.

Nice meal. Wasn't very busy. The restaurant appears clean, neat and orderly. Enough staff. Less choice than in recent years. Empty plates are quickly cleared. You will be welcomed upon entry and after payment you will be guided to your table. Meat, vegetables and fish are prepared quickly, so you don't have to wait long for your food. Parking on site around 7pm on a weekday is very poor. Far too little space and had to park the car outside the Zuiderpark. Today we went to the golden wok at 5:00 PM and it turned out that there was a mega meeting of an organization so we couldn't go in at 5:00 PM. The manager was a friendly man and tried to please us by offering drinks and making a separate place to wait for a while. In addition, we were allowed to sit for longer than 2 hours. We hadden de tafel tot 23:00 gereserveerd en er werd gelijk aangegeven dat we max tot 22:30 kunnen blijven maar wel volle prijs betaald. en om 22:00 werden we al weggekeken, niet zo fijn als we nog 30 minuten hebben. Elke 2 minuten kwamen de dames langs om te kijken of we al weg gingen. Ga hier niet meer eten We reserved a table for 11:00pm but was immediately informed that we could stay until 10:30pm but we would have to pay the full amount. It was 10:00pm and we had already been turned away when we still had 30 minutes to spare, not a good situation. The ladies would come every two minutes to see if we were leaving. Don't eat here again

Collega's nemen ijs en de 1 ging gelijk alles thuis uitkotsen, maar de andere is nu al 10 dagen ziek en nu moet ik zijn werk overnemen, we weten dat het door de ijs komst want 1 collega mag geen alcohol en de andere die nam alcohol dus daar kan het echt niet aan liggen, daarbij namen ze allebij ijs, maar die gene die zo lang ziek is nam van elke smaak een bolletje en hij had gezegd dat het lekker smaakte

Zo véél keuze, vers bereid, wachttijd minimaal.

Na verbouwing is de sfeer wel wat beter. Bij een concept als dit kun je niet te veel verwachten wat eten betreft. Allemaal snel en veel.

Om een of andere reden komen we er al jaren. Weliswaar vaak met korting anders is het zonde van je geld. Ze worden ook steeds duurder in hun arrangementen. Een alcohol munt kost nu 2 euro in plaats van 1 euro. Ik vind dat je veel keuze hebt in eten en drinken. Begin november geweest. Saus waar mee ze wokken was echt niet lekker. Waterig of geen smaak. Lege borden worden inderdaad snel weggehaald. Ze zijn in corona, denk 2021, een lange tijd dicht geweest wegens verbouwing. Toiletten zijn ze waarschijnlijk vergeten, die zijn, nog steeds, zo goor.

Gisteren na een paar jaar weer geweest naar de gouden wok. Kip met saté. Kip was hard, heb het laten staan. Gril gerechten heeft bijna geen smaak en heb gekozen voor wok met groenten, pangafilet en oester saus. Er zat weinig smaak aan! Qua sushi heb je wel weinig keus. De toetjes waren wel lekkerr!

Het is een aardige plek om als groep te eten. Je hebt heel veel keuzes. Het enige nadeel was dat de tiramisu bedorven was. Of de melk of de eieren waren niet meer goed.

Enorm groot wok restaurant.Keuze valt tegen eten is niet echt lekker, wordt slecht aangevuld, in de loop van de avond zijn veel schalen leeg. Waren met een grote groep op tijd gereserveerd en werden aan 2 verschillende tafels geplaatst.

Eten is heerlijk en veel halal opties. Wel jammer dat niet alles halal is zoals wat vlees op de grill en wat varkensvlees wat ze verkopen.

De kwaliteit, veelzijdigheid en versheid van de ingrediënten en gerechten is dik in orde. Alles wordt regelmatig bijgevuld en pannenkoeken, poffertjes en sushi worden gemaakt waar je bij staat. De grill, de teppanyaki en wokgerechten pak je rauw en deze worden a la minute bereidt. Bedenk wel wanneer je een voedselallergie hebt, dat ook wanneer het personeel alles netjes doet andere gasten makkelijk producten door elkaar kunnen gooien. Een gamba kan makkelijk tussen de zalm raken en een noot van de baklava tussen de cheesecake... het is maar een tip... Qua restaurant blijft het een soort grote schoolkantine ondanks het feit dat ze hun best hebben gedaan sfeer te creëren. Veel tafels weinig sfeer en constant langs lopende en rennende kinderen. Je moet er tegen kunnen...

Dobre jedzenie, wystrój ładny jednak obsługa zbyt mało zadaje pytań np. Czy usmażyć jeden kawałek mięsa czy dwa… dziwna atmosfera ogólnie, po mimo tego polecam restauracje.
