We had coffee and apple pie here last week and it was great. Coffee is good and the apple pie is very tasty. Inside it is very cold and boring.

Yesterday, May 5, our wedding anniversary, we called the restaurant; they were open and we were welcome. Once we got there we were greeted by a truck driver; the case was closed. While the site said they were open and we had called specifically. This is not nice

This restaurant is our favorite when we drive home on the A15. If this happens in the evening, we usually go here for a bite to eat. The food is good. The staff is friendly. As a small point for improvement, I would update the menu. The same vegetables every time gets boring.

This roadside restaurant is out of the ordinary. You can expect delicious food here. I opted for the pork tenderloin with cream sauce. This was wonderfully tender and in a sufficient portion. We come here every week. Really tasty food . I always take medium fillet steak with mushroom sauce. You also get plenty of vegetables and baked potatoes. I only miss the vegetable soup that I have been eating there for 30 years.

Update 2024: Still delicious food and good, attentive service. The dishes tasted good again and we are still fans of the spinach a la crème that is served as 1 of the 2 types of vegetables. Spontaneously stopped for a bite to eat. Upon arrival, we were well received by a host and led to a large table where more people sat who had not reserved. Very smart and also practical! We didn't look at each other's plates. It was extremely busy, and yet the staff was able to manage the tables by communicating well with each other. Ordered drinks and main courses together and the latter came really quickly. Many types of garnish included with free refill if desired. Schnitzels were very popular and the spareribs also tasted very good! The dessert menu mainly consisted of coupes. And the portion was just right. I must say: quality was above expectations for a Goudreinet branch. The service was top notch and responsive. The layout of the restaurant was such that it gave a living room feeling. All in all: good idea to stop here on the way home. And it's nice that the host wished us a nice trip! Small detail, but gives good customer experience!

On the way home after a wonderful stay in Sauerland, we wanted to eat something in the middle of the afternoon. An older grumpy lady took our order. The cutlery was thrown on the table and the drinks were delivered promptly by a nice younger waitress. The sandwiches we ordered were not yet on the table after 25 minutes. The lady simply had not passed our order on to the kitchen. Apparently the lady didn't feel like it. My wife paid for the drinks I consumed, I was already standing outside! This restaurant should close, it offers no added value!

Had a cup of coffee. It was very dark, we thought the restaurant was closed. The operation can also be too fast. We received a friendly welcome, but before we were seated we were asked what we wanted to drink. Perhaps offer a map in advance? Only a wine list available at the table. We might want something with coffee, but that doesn't happen. They charge one euro for going to the toilet. That's a lot, especially for a toilet where the floor is sticky. I won't be stopping there again anytime soon when I'm on the road. A little more attention can help with turnover. Or you have to earn enough from using the toilet. But given the silence in the restaurant I don't think so.. The coffee was okay, nothing special with a cheap pre-packed mass biscuit.

Restaurant along the highway. Price/quality and portions are good. Especially for highway restaurants. We ordered the satay and hamburger, portions too much for us. The shower is only available to restaurant guests. If you are a driver parking nearby, you cannot use the shower. Apparently, the dishes served here require a shower afterward.

Good food, especially the Snitzel Du Matré and the Pork Tenderloin, quite quickly too. Warm vegetables available, unfortunately no lettuce was given. Friendly service. Play area available for the kids. There are toilets and even a shower. Ample free parking and easily accessible from the motorway. Definitely worth the detour.

Ordered roast beef bouncer; roast beef was old, dried out and no longer red colored. Returned. I was allowed to choose something else, which was a white croquette sandwich. Croquette was ok, bun was brown (ok...) but worse: completely dried out, so also old. First time I can remember ever sending food back. Hard to understand why a chef would let this out of the kitchen.

Very surprising design for a roadside restaurant. Nice background music, very friendly staff. Food was delicious, highly recommended if you want to relax while traveling! Now also ate with the family (dinner), same atmosphere and friendliness. Staff was new and sometimes still needed some guidance (serving main courses while the starters are still on the table, clearing the table and taking all the cutlery with you and not bringing new ones, asking for a knife and fork and then only getting the latter). We see the humor in it, but it could be improved. Furthermore, it remains a very nice place to eat and relax!

So the main course was already cold before we started it. The salad starter and the schnitzel are actually part of the Goudreinet dael, we asked for this but that was no longer possible, we should have reported it at the beginning, but we were not asked for it either. So we didn't have dessert anymore because it was way too expensive. I say checkout and never Goudreinet again.

Meat that falls off the bone is so tender. This is how spare ribs should be. Garlic sauce also great! Betuwe extra ice cream after. Grandiose! Recommended! Too bad the truck parking is public. As a result, it is full of Eastern European people who do not come to eat. And therefore inaccessible for many drivers. Would you advise the owner to see if he can buy up a piece of land for a guarded parking lot? With a discount if you come in to eat. I think it is full of paying customers every day. Also partly due to parking problems for freight traffic.

The people next to me who came in later than me had already finished their food and said to me 'it will take a long time before you get anything. I waited another fifteen minutes and said I would pay for the drinks and soup and continue. And then you hear from the waitress/chef that she thinks it's fine and that she doesn't want to have any further discussion with me about it. When I then say that it doesn't make her very popular among her guests, she says 'I'd never see you here otherwise', boy, that's not how you treat your customers. I kept it neat, but I prefer to drag such a person outside on the ground.
