The concept is correct, but the execution leaves much to be desired.

Went to eat here with the family. Service was very slow, we had to wait a long time for the drinks. We were a group of 14 people, the food was served in stages, so half of them were already eating while the rest were waiting. The 3 children's menus were very poor, the fries were cold and the frikandel shriveled. The mayonnaise had been outside the refrigerator for a long time and had a yellow crispy layer. The diamond tenderloin ordered was well done instead of medium, the fries were also cold, the bowl of vegetables withered and the mayonnaise had also been left out of the refrigerator for too long. We sent it back to the kitchen. The waiter even asked what we were waiting for. Also, several pancakes were not baked properly and therefore not done. According to the kitchen this was not the case and heard this. However, after much insistence, a new one was delivered. For dessert I had apple strudel.... this was a cowardly snack. The puff pastry crust was soft and tough, in short, from the freezer and warmed up in the microwave. What should have been a pleasant evening was a disappointment due to the very poor quality of the food. The food is not worth the money. This was the first time I was here but also the last time

We went here to eat with our 7 children (4-16 years). Choosing a menu does take some time, but we were able to take it in plenty of time. Very well thought through, our 6 year old son is not allowed eggs, milk or peanuts, and they still managed to make a delicious pancake for him, he enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and in between the children could have fun in the playground or with the football table. We didn't like the place where we sat, we sat on the side and then you have the feeling that you are in the middle of the hall where people keep walking in and out. Not a nice view. Several rooms had been rented out, I don't know if you can normally sit somewhere else. We enjoyed the dishes, well prepared. The children had a lot of fun. In the afternoon we bowled together, which was fun, nice computer system, handy bumpers and a slide for the small children.

Ate pancakes, richly filled with ingredients, but... just undercooked. It was a cozy atmosphere and super friendly, quick service.

Recently had lunch at Molen de Zwaluw and was helped by a friendly young man with an infectious good mood. 😊 The service was great! I opted for the tenderloin sandwich, and the bread was definitely a highlight: deliciously crunchy, fresh and unique, straight from their own bakery. 🥖✨ However, the sauce with the tenderloin tips was a bit disappointing. It reminded me of standard chili sauce, as if a bottle from the supermarket had been squirted over it. I thought that was a shame, because my own twist could have made the dish really special and unique. 🌶️ In short, the experience was certainly positive, but there is room for improvement in the finishing of the dishes! 💡

Delicious food, nice that there was no music on. Also a nice large playground for the children to play, from a young age.

The food (high tea) was great but we had to move tables because of a wedding party. The new room was dark and cold and next door to the room of a wedding party and people entered and left and entered and left. Not very quiet.

Delicious food. A cheerful, pleasant boy for the service. But when we came in, most of the tables were not clean. That was or is the only negative point.

Wedding experience regarding the wedding of my son and daughter-in-law. Quality is quite OK. With regard to agreements and associated prices, make sure that everything is properly recorded. Especially the settlement with regard to "based on actual costing" gives food for thought!

Nice neat location, we were there for the pancakes. These weren't great... Next on the list is bowling, everything looks great!

There was chicken satay on the pancake menu. But apparently I couldn't order that, because I had the regular menu. This is very strange, because we wanted to choose chicken satay.

Finally a restaurant where you can dine in a casual atmosphere, without music and noise. The servants are very friendly. If you need anything they are there for you. Especially being able to look into the kitchen through the hole in the wall gives a familiar feeling. Top place. Also a child-friendly environment. The pond even has a grid just below the water surface so that children cannot drown. Well thought about it 👍

Prachtige omgeving mat een zeer mooie molen die geweldig gerenoveerd is. De bediening was uiterst vriendelijk en gaf een mooie uitleg over de molen die oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland kwam en hier gerenoveerd. Alles met vriendelijkheid en een lach. Geweldige lokatie voor partijen feesten en bowling

Nice restaurant but little atmosphere, no music and empty during the week.

I think the pancakes are too thick. And the sweets on the children's pancake will melt and stick. But the playground for the children is nice, everything looks neat.

Very nice atmosphere in this restaurant. Nice country interior with a view of the kitchen if you want. Nice seats and good friendly service. The artisanal pancakes are highly recommended. In addition to pancakes and poffertjes, a regular dinner is also available. There is a nice bar with various beers and spirits. Toilets are clean and smell fresh. In addition to food, you can also book various packages here, so you can combine it with a picnic, bowling or a scooter tour through the Betuwe. Super nice location to be but also to throw a party. The restaurant even has a small shop where you can buy baking supplies or freshly ground flour. Highly recommended!!!

A beautiful location, with attractive spaces and it is a child-friendly restaurant, where they can play both indoors and outdoors, with a view of the playground and terrace. Staff look neatly dressed. Food looks well cared for, with heated plates, there are also various dishes for the children.

It will surely surprise you. When you go in the car and see it, you can't believe that there is such a beautiful place there. Good atmosphere and good food. A very good deal. I recommend it.

Helaas een tegenvallende ervaring nadat we een maand geleden juist zo genoten hebben van een luxe high tea. Nu waren we er weer en het was een wereld van verschil. Heel veel vette bladerdeeg hapjes en we miste juist die heerlijke kleinere zoete hapjes ( soort bitterkoekjes met slagroom) , of die verrukkelijke broodjes met zalm. Er zat 1 zo'n aangekleed bitterkoekje bij ( we waren met z'n vieren) Het was wel veel, maar absoluut niet de verfijnde kwaliteit van de vorige keer!

Fantastic location, very well-maintained garden and attractive interior. Waiting staff are very friendly and helpful. The food, on the other hand, is bland. Salad without dressing and everything lacks salt. During my visit, the kitchen refused to make a pancake for my disabled nephew. He didn't understand it at all and when we asked the chef to come to our table, he refused. Very disappointing and cowardly that the kitchen operates this way. Addition to review: The mill has taken the complaint about the kitchen very seriously and has offered compensation. Resolved professionally and adequately.

Leuke plek, mooi restaurant, prima bediening en ook nog lekker. We werden netjes ontvangen kregen een mooie tafel. Het liep vlot door zonder opdringerig te zijn. Er is voor de lunch meer dan genoeg keuze. Wij hadden verschillende gerechten als een pannenkoek, broodje tonijnsalade, carpaccio en een broodje geitenkaas. Alles was lekker en voldoende. Ook de wijn is prima en redelijk geprijsd. We kwamen er achter dat een flesje witbier op de datum was en kregen zonder pardon iets anders te drinken met excuses.

If you want everything perfect then this is the place for you.

Very attractive and nice location. Ate here once, food was of very good quality and tasty. Attended the reception once and it was well taken care of, tasty snacks including satay. A location to recommend! A small downside is that you cannot choose at a reception (I don't know if this is otherwise possible) which cup of coffee you want, I like cappuccino myself and that is not possible.

While looking for a restaurant where I could eat gluten-free and lactose-free near Kesteren, I came across this new restaurant on the internet. We opted for shared dining and it was overwhelmingly good! We will definitely be back soon.

Cozy space managed by nice people. Food also well prepared

I like to get flour here to bake bread, among other things. Processed in a fine way, delicious in taste. Always friendly employees.

A very successful dinner in the newly built restaurant. The two of us took a shared dining surprise menu. The fact that one of us has a gluten and lactose intolerance was no problem at all. We enjoyed all the goodies that came to the table. Highly recommended and thanks to the friendly service and the excellent kitchen staff!!!

Prachtige feestlocatie met heerlijke gerechten.

Samen met mijn dochter had ik hier gereserveerd voor een high tea. Ik had aangegeven, dat wij beiden geen vlees eten en dat er voor mijn dochter absoluut nergens noten in zouden zitten vanwege een ernstige allergie daarvoor. Men gaf aan, dat hier uiteraard rekening mee gehouden zou worden. Op onze tafel stond bij aankomst een leuk assortiment verschillende thee soorten, samen met een kan heet water. Na overleg met ons kregen wij eerst de hartige gerechtjes, op zich zag het er mooi uit maar wat direkt opviel, dat op 1 gerecht na, alles met bladerdeeg en kaas was. Kennelijk is het hier nog moeilijk om i.p.v. vlees iets anders te bedenken, hoewel ik aangegeven had, dat wij beiden wel vis eten. Maar wij hadden het erg gezellig samen. Na een poosje kregen wij een nieuwe kan heet water, zeer attent. Het was niet erg druk in het restaurant, voldoende mensen om een gezellige sfeer te hebben. Op gegeven moment kwam men een etagere met zoete gerechtjes brengen, zo ontzettend veel lag er op dat we erg verbaasd hierover waren. Wat ons betreft zou alles wat kleiner mogen zijn, dit was geen high tea maar een zeer overvloedige maaltijd. We voelden ons haast bezwaard om wat te nemen omdat het duidelijk was, dat we het grootste gedeelte niet zouden eten, wat wordt er dan mee gedaan ? Weggegooid neem ik aan, wat een verkwisting van voedsel. Na ca. 1 uurtje waren wij nog de enigen in het restaurant en begon men de zaak klaar te maken voor het diner 'savonds, we hoorden, dat ze dan aardig vol zaten. Ik begrijp, dat men dat wil doen, maar continue schuiven met tafels en stoelen over de plavuizen vloer maakt het haast onmogelijk om samen een gesprek te voeren. Het bleef maar doorgaan, daarom besloten we weg te gaan. Terwijl mijn dochter de auto haalde wilde ik afrekenen. Men kwam toen zeggen, dat wij nog een smootie kregen, daarvoor hebben we bedankt. Wel werd netjes gevraagd of ik een doosje wilde om alles wat over bleef mee te kunnen nemen. De intentie is goed maar beter zou het zijn om de high tea wat bescheidener te presenteren. Ook is het wenselijk dat de kennis over een vervanging voor vlees wat bijgespijkerd wordt. Hier komen wij niet meer terug.

Wat een geweldige plek.. Je kunt hier lekker eten en bowlen. Personeel is ook erg vriendelijk.

Een high tea voor 2 in een mooi restaurant. Op tafel verschillende soorten losse thee, een thermoskan warm water en lekkere hapjes. De hapjes waren lekker maar met voornamelijk grote bladerdeeg hapjes wel heel eenzijdig. We misten de kenmerkende high tea verwennerij van bijvoorbeeld mini gebakjes, bonbons en macarons. De bediening was vooral druk met de gasten die buiten zaten, maar als we hen vroegen de lege thermoskan opnieuw met warm water te vullen was dit alle keren geen probleem. Leuk dat we overgebleven hapjes in een doos meekregen nadat we als afsluiter een smoothie kregen.

Afgelopen zaterdag hier uit eten geweest. De bediening was vriendelijk, maar we hebben 1,5 uur op ons eten moeten wachten. De porties zijn klein en vrij prijzig. Je kreeg een klein bakje patat wat je moest delen met meerdere personen, ook was de patat niet goed gebakken. Kortom geen aanrader om hier te gaan eten.

Was erg gezellig en lekkere pannenkoeken

We moesten een stukje rijden vanuit Tiel, we hebben de uitsmijter en rundvleessalade gegeten, ontzettend lekker. We gaan zeker nog een keer m'n zus en ik

Автентичний нідерландський кам'яний млин/ він ще й працює/ , який має в своєму складі ресторан, млин, магазин з продукцією, яку виробляє сам млин та пекарня/ в пекарні можна зробити попередньо онлайн замовлення/ різні види хліба, тістечка та торти!!!!!!

Voor de verjaardag van mijn tante had ik haar een high tea cadeau gedaan. Na wat zoek werk kwam ik op de site van molen de Zwaluw terecht. De foto’s op de site beloofde veel goed en gaf mij echt een high tea gevoel. Geboekt en afgelopen week was het zover. Maar wat bleek, de high tea wat totaal anders dan op de site! De hapjes waren heerlijk en personeel was aardig, maar het high tea gevoel was er totaal niet. Thee in een thermoskan en de kopjes waren gewone theeglazen. De sfeer was echt geen high tea sfeer! Heel heel jammer!

Lekker eten vriendelijke bediening

Lekker gegeten, mooie locatie, vriendelijk personeel. Had wel het idee dat de vaste klanten wat voorrang hadden. Maar zeker een bezoekje waard

Leuke tent. Erg lekker eten. Vriendelijke bediening. Rustige uitstraling. Kortom genieten.

Prima plek voor een hapje en een drankje. De grootste sellingpoint is toch de afgesloten stuk speelterrein voor de kleine kinderen. Die kunnen naar hartelust klimmen en springen, en ouders op het terras. Ook leuke locatie voor bruiloft. 😉

Leuke speeltuin voor de kids. Beetje jammer dat het terras aan die kant compleet was afgehuurd. Wellicht idee om wat zitjes te creeeren in de speeltuin met schaduw. Kunnen de ouders de kinderen in de gaten houden ook als dat terras is afgehuurd. Dan had ik 5 sterren gegeven.

Aanrader als je in de buurt van Kesteren bent !!!

Op een prachtige locatie heel lekker gegeten met een zeer goede service. Bediening was vriendelijk. Kortom heerlijke avond gehad.

Heerlijk eten. Qua pannenkoeken niet top. De rest wel!

Er is altijd iets te verbeter, maar wij met 16 personen hebben van alles genoten. Chapo voor zoveel sfeer, eten en service.

We hebben lekker gegeten in Molen de Zwaluw, de carpaccio en t pasteitjes zagen er heerlijk uit! Ook de snitsel met de loempia en de frietjes was lekker! Alleen de bediening was zo super snel dat je voorgerecht niet ff lekker kon zakken! De lege borden werden weggebracht en volle kwamen gelijk weer mee dat was jammer! Toetje, ja dat kon er echt niet meer bij! En ja de gezelligheid moet je ook zelf meenemen!
