Super cozy atmosphere and very tasty food

Excellent restaurant with a very nice lunch arrangement.

We had made a reservation for a family dinner on September 13th, but there was a party going on in the restaurant with loud music and a company dinner. We weren't able to catch up as a family. It was a real shame.

Beautiful location, delicious food for an excellent price, the monthly menu is highly recommended.

We've been here for lunch several times. This time for dinner. The food is fine. They have a fixed-price menu for three courses. What we didn't know, and expected, is that if you order two dishes from the menu, you get the same portions as the three-course menu, but it's still more expensive, and you don't even get dessert. We've often experienced larger portions when ordering from the menu. I did ask about it when I left, but it turned out to be the same portions, and a third course wasn't offered, which would have been thoughtful, considering the fixed price. Now we feel cheated. It's a shame.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! What DELICIOUS food! The salmon was the best we've ever had. Very subtle and lightly smoked. Everything else was exceptionally fresh and delicious. It's a shame we were here on vacation, otherwise we would definitely have come back many more times. We'll remember this dinner for a long time! Thank you so much for the warm welcome, and especially thank you for bringing our Border Collie along!

Very hospitable, traditional food without surprises

Good place with excellent service and village vibe. Lunch cart is quite cheap, good portion and very tasty.

We found this place online after a day at the beach. We sat outside on the terrace. Even though it was already quite late in the evening, there was still quite a bit of traffic passing by. The food was decent; our daughter's steak should have been medium, but it was almost overcooked. The satay was fine, but there wasn't much in the way of vegetables on the plate besides the satay. A little pickled cucumber and some prawn crackers. The fries were also tasty and enough for three people. I wouldn't go back just because it was so good and enjoyable.

My wife and I have been in the Netherlands for 3 years, we came from Ukraine and decided to celebrate 10 years of our relationship. I ordered a burger and was very pleased. It is exactly the same as in the photo. Juicy, soft, fresh. By the way, the menu here is not large, but all the food is really very tasty and home-made. For dessert, I took warm cherries with syrup, ice cream, cream and was also pleased. For the atmosphere, I give it 4 stars. The establishment is really cozy and has a good interior. But due to the fact that the premises are not very spacious, the tables are too close and it is noisy inside. Most likely, each establishment has its own format and this time we did not guess the format of the restaurant for our particular case. But overall, everything is just great! Thank you for a pleasant time

What a shame that after a nice meal and drink at Broer&Ko you are asked to pay. I got the feeling that I (we) had to GET OUT ASAP. We had barely eaten when our plates were taken away. (In the meantime, 5 employees had looked at our table to see if we were "done" eating. Did we do something wrong? No, nothing. Did we say something wrong? No, nothing! We are both approaching 70 years old!! Will we eat here again? NO, I have never been treated like this and thrown out!

Nice restaurant with a beautiful spacious terrace, where you can also lounge. You can eat well here and at very reasonable prices. You can even score a 3-course menu here for just under €30,- and I can hardly remember the last time I saw this. 😊 Food is fine and tasty and as far as I understand with as many local products as possible. Service very friendly and attentive, as well as the owners. In addition, you can also see that they know the returning guests well, which I like to see. Nice involvement! Good chardonnay house wine for a nice price per glass. All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, because a very good quality/price ratio. You can also have a nice drink here and it is also a nice location for this, especially on the terrace. All cocktails under €10,- 😱😋 Parking on site possible.

We can't say anything about the food yet, but the huge slice of homemade apple pie with a generous dollop of delicious whipped cream (not that airy, aerosol-can stuff from the supermarket) was sublime. It deserves a spot in my top 10 apple pie list. The coffee was also delicious. The terrace was lovely with natural shade, and the interior looked inviting as well. The service was excellent; they even took the time for a pleasant chat.

Delicious food. The Short Ribs outside the menu almost fell apart, perfect! Kids wanted a piece of salmon. Not on the menu, but they just arrange it! And perhaps the best wine list in the area!

We had a delicious lunch during our convertible tour from Klassieke Mechaniek Zeeland. There were about 12 of us, and they managed to convert half the patio without any problems. A bit off the beaten track, but well worth it. Friendly staff, good service, and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again with our convertible.

We've always had excellent food in the past, but after the kitchen renovation, the quality has declined significantly. The dishes have become sparse, and when you ask for something, the answer is often no or it's forgotten.

Delicious food for a good price. Service is very friendly and assertive with suggestions for extra fries or something to drink without pushing. There is a homely atmosphere. The menu seems a bit standard, but the execution of the dishes is of high quality. Here a chef cooks with a love for the profession, who knows what is tasty!

We had a delicious meal on the terrace today.

A delicious meal within walking distance of home is everyone's dream. We pass by every day, and the always-full parking lot already told us it had to be good. And it is! We're now convinced. The moment you walk in, you immediately feel the cozy, homey atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is also absolutely delicious. Delicious dishes without unnecessary frills that don't add anything special. The price is also good. If you're looking for a pleasant meal out at a reasonable price, this is definitely recommended.

The starter was toast with mushrooms and herbs. Unfortunately, it was a mountain of rocula lettuce, but no herbs. The mushrooms were burnt. The steak was raw; I sent it back twice, and the third time, the same steak was cooked properly. Unfortunately, the vegetables on the plate had gone cold after 20 minutes, so I left them. The satay wasn't tasty either and, in our opinion, had been under the warming lamps for too long. We reported this, but nothing was done about it. In short, very disappointing, and we won't be back. The girl who helped us was friendly, though. My review has been responded to. And this is an excerpt from the response... We apologize that your complaints weren't resolved immediately. When paying at the bar, the owner asked if you enjoyed it, to which my dining companion mentioned the poor quality of the food. The owner responded with... better luck next time!!! If that's your way of resolving the issue, I find that response unreliable. 70 euros for a terrible meal!!!!

Today, January 19, 2025, I stopped here for a drink and some snacks for 4 people. Nice atmosphere and a friendly welcome. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, the specialty beers were good. But the snacks were exceptionally bad! If I found at least 6 pieces of fricandel, only 2 chicken nuggets, a few vegetarian options, and that was supplemented with some bitterballen for a ridiculously high price, then this is truly awful. For 4 people, almost €50.00 with 3 orange juices, 2 specialty beers, and 1 Radler with the snacks... Too expensive! Especially because of the very cheaply composed snacks!

Rarely eaten so badly. Starter not with goat cheese was okay, nothing special. Main course, fries lukewarm and mealy. Sent back immediately. New portion still mealy and dry. Hamburger 1 had moldy tomato, the replacement was burnt In the end I ate the leftover risotto at home. Addendum for answer Broer and Ko. I will not use your offer. Apart from the disappointing meal myself, I do not find the menu and what I saw at my friends I was with attractive enough to come back again.

Tonight we enjoyed our Christmas dinner at Broer & Ko with the family and I have to say it was excellent, delicious food and a nice atmosphere with a fireplace and very friendly staff, all in all a must, we will definitely come back here again. Thanks Peter Rozeboom.

Ate here for the first time tonight. It's a truly excellent restaurant. Fresh produce, reasonable prices, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service.

Very friendly welcome and staff. Fantastic food at a good affordable price. (unfortunately not taken a picture of everything) A wide choice of dishes and also possible to pass on your wishes. Nice appearance of the interior.

We went for dinner today. The welcome was fantastic. I first had a glass of wine outside with my wife, then went inside for dinner. The service was very pleasant, professional, and friendly. Delicious food with just the right amount of breaks between courses. My low-salt diet wasn't a problem either. The prices are also excellent. Plenty of parking, always available, and free. Compliments to the atmosphere, service, and chef. 5 stars isn't even enough. TOP!!!!

Food was good and reasonable price, drinks a bit more expensive. Service was a bit amateurish here and there. And before we had our dessert, they came just after 9:30 PM to ask if we wanted coffee after dessert, otherwise they could clean the machine. Not really neat and strange when you are open until 11 p.m. And even though the place is no longer full, you still get the feeling that they are looking away from you.

Looks nice and cozy. Time between dishes was almost an hour. Starters were fine, main course was so-so. People who placed their orders after us had their turn earlier. Had to wait really long. That's not nice, we almost left.

Spontaneously arrived on my motorcycle at this nice company with a beautiful terrace. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff will assist you. Opted for the menu and thoroughly enjoyed the carpaccio, the steak au poivre and... highly recommended the hangop. And all on a sunny terrace under the lime trees. There really are worse days than this. Top!

Friendly staff. Good quality food and drinks, but unfortunately the price suggests better. Drinks in particular are extremely expensive. The service is friendly but sometimes amateurish. A glass that is grabbed at the top and placed on the table is downright disgusting. In addition, on a warm summer evening mopeds, motorcycles, etc. rush past...... all in all not an ideal place.

The meal was delicious, but I think it's a shame that your dish didn't come with some vegetables or salad. And what was very confusing is that all meat dishes had fries but not the hamburger sandwich (it was also a lot cheaper) but add that price and just serve all dishes with fries/potatoes and a bowl of mayo from home.

This wasn't good. Boeuf stroganof is a fry with sauce, piece of carrot, 2 leaves of chicory and a few pieces of meat. Bland, no taste. Not a second time. 2 persons 100 euros.
