In september maakten wij met z'n zessen gebruik van een soci­aldealvoucher. Eerst iets drinken, dan wandelen en afsluiten met een hapje eten. Wij dachten gastvr­ij ontvangen en beha­ndeld te worden, zoa­ls dat in dergelijke gelegenheden gebrui­kelijk en verwacht mag worden. Niets is minder wa­ar. Ik heb nog nooit zo'n onbehoorlijke, onbeleefde, onfatsoen­lijke behandeling van gasten meegemaakt. Bij onze aankomst op het terras kwam er een gastvrouw naar ons toe met de gebruikeli­jke vraag wat we wil­den drinken. Een van ons, ik no­em hem even Piet,​ was niet op de hoogte wat je precies als vooraf-drankje kon bestellen en antwoor­dde: daar wil ik nog even over nadenken. Direct kreeg hij een snauw terug met de opmerking: Ja, thee of koffie; u moet het nu zeggen! De toon was gezet. Blijkbaar was ze gestressed en zat niet op ons te wachten. Bij het presenteren van de drankjes kon je de geprikkeldhe­id nog steeds merken in haar non-verbale houding​ Een vrien­delijk astublieft kon er niet meer vanaf. Na onze wandeling kregen we binnen een tafel toegewezen en bestelden. Ieder kreeg zijn bestelde hoofdmenu no­rmaal voor z'n neus, behave Piet. Zijn bord werd als laatste met een flinke PLOF op tafel gekwakt. Alle gasten keken ver­schrikt op en verwac­htten een excuus, wa­nt dit kon niet de bedoeling zijn. Nee hoor, zonder een enkel woord stiefelde mevrouw retour zonder eetsmakelijk te ze­ggen. We keken mekaar verwonderd aan met de gedachte: wat ge­beurt hier? Een woord past bij dit gebeuren: onbes­choft. Bij het vertrek na­ar de uitgang kruiste Piet toevallig het pad van de gastvrou­w, die naar een ande­re tafel liep. Op een cynische ma­nier nam ze afscheid van Piet met de opm­erking: dag meneeééé­ér. Piet was zo versta­ndig om geen reactie te geven. Het eten? Niet sle­cht. Middelmatig. Ik hoef niet te ve­rmelden, dat wij hier nooooooit meer ter­ugkomen. U bent bij deze ge­waarschuwd.

Ate here yesterday after a beautiful walk. Beautiful terrace in wooded area. Very friendly staff. Tasty food for a good price. As far as we are concerned, it was a success. No Michelin star, but 5 stars from us, partly because of the friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Outside there is a Heerlik terrace to enjoy a snack and a drink. In a quiet place with practically no traffic.

What a mockery!! They come and ask if everything is okay and I hate to say no, but here it was really no. Brussels sprouts so cooked you don't need teeth. Fries made from old fat tasted like oliebol. And the snitzel I was so looking forward to was a pathetic frozen thing with the crust bulging with air in between. When we tried to say something subtly about it, both hostess and later chef became defensive "No, that was not possible, people even came back for that snitzel!" And when I asked the chef if he had breaded it himself, I got a stern "I'm not going to tell you that!" AKA No! Look, the food is very bad, I can live with that, but if the staff reacts like this then I think: See you never

We were on holiday near Oisterwijk and wanted to have a bite to eat with the family. The hostess was a sour lady who had little interest in customers. When we asked if we could have a bite to eat, she snapped at us that everything had been reserved, which was strange to us. with only three tables occupied for me it is a ball tent on the rink there are plenty of good opportunities for the children.

We came to the right place for a romantic evening of dining. The candle was lit and the atmosphere was warm. The food was relatively cheap for what we all got. A pleasant chat with the owners also arose naturally. A nice experience richer.

Tonight we had a great evening with 8 people at Grand Café de Reebok. The hostess gives the necessary attention to everyone, albeit in a fun, spontaneous way.
