Grand Café Het Postkantoor in Ermelo is definitely worth a visit for its pleasant, inviting atmosphere and friendly service. It's a cozy place to relax. The omelet was delicious, well-prepared, and a decent lunch option. The price was a bit steep, though. There was also a slight miscommunication with my order. I had opted for the sweet potato fries, but was served the truffle fries. All in all, a nice place with a good base and a pleasant atmosphere.

A terribly poor, run-of-the-mill menu, poorly prepared and presented. Terrible puns (posti instead of toasted sandwich) – brrr.

Autumn (wild) menu. Disappointment already. The game trio starter was unavailable; deer carpaccio was an alternative. It tasted fine otherwise. Onion soup was excellent. The main course was a deer, wild boar, and poultry trio. It consisted of game pâté, wild boar fillet, and venison stew with overly salty fries. The dessert, forest fruit tiramisu, was a bastonje cake with some mascarpone and forest fruit jam. The recommended Malbec turned out to be the best.

We come here regularly. This time, the lunch wasn't anything special and was overpriced. Two white tiger sandwiches with three fried eggs is a bit steep at €9.00, and then you have to add 0.70 for each addition. The Croque Madam wasn't what we're used to at the post office either. Soggy bread instead of toast... Hopefully it'll be better next time.

Restaurant with a terrace where you could also just have a drink. Friendly and helpful service. They even offered to light the heater, which we eagerly accepted. Our request for information about things to do in the area was answered in detail, allowing us to explore some beautiful sights. Nothing but praise for the staff.

The food was delicious, surprisingly large portions, which is something we're not used to at the coast. Friendly, efficient service. There's a special area for children to play or enjoy games. Highly recommended if you're in the area. We'll definitely be back soon.

Last Thursday for the 5th time lunched here and we don't do that just like that. The atmosphere is nice, the terrace is nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful but also the food is just good and the portions are generous. I read reviews from people who complain about the food. We don't really get that. If you have something to complain about, if it is justified then you should tell the staff. The apple pie is also really good and the Carpaccio even better.!!. We come from Zaandam to the Veluwe very regularly and the first thing we always do is make a reservation at Het Postkantoor for lunch. Next time we will go in September exactly the same again.

After I first got the wrong dish, which went back to the kitchen, my ordered lunch finally arrived: fried mushrooms with bread. It was downright unappetizing😩the mushrooms were almost black and dry as grit, not seasoned and the stems were still on the mushrooms yuck! Plus a little mayonnaise! I sent more than half back and the waitress reacted lukewarm! No further reaction!

Terrible, we ordered 2 carpaccio sandwiches, you had to look for the bread. Pickle just popped on top. Huge disappointment. Pay a high price and get almost nothing on your plate. Certainly not worth repeating.

Niets dan lof! Proeverij van de kaart gehad. Kregen spare ribs, zalm, gamba’s en ribeye. Met garnituur en 2 sausjes. Echt alles was op, verrukkelijk!! Dikke aanrader. We waren met de kinderen (8 en 10), die hadden ook alles op!

Great cafe for a company dinner. I arrived late myself, and I was immediately asked what I wanted. When the other's dishes arrived I was told mine would come a little later, but 10 seconds later my food arrived. Beautiful location and beautiful spaces. The heat lamps that were too hot were turned off when asked. Thus good service. Nice atmosphere and nice that there were games available, such as nail hitting

Ordered a tasting for both starter and main course. Highly recommended! We enjoyed it. The host is also a real host, just have a chat so you really feel welcome. Compliments to the chef, service and host! We will definitely come back someday.

Nice location in the center of Ermelo, with a good terrace, a very cozy restaurant, committed staff and enthusiastic managers. Good price-quality ratio. They always come up with something new to entertain people and offer something fun. In short, in my opinion, highly recommended. Now also a wild menu on the menu in the autumn period.

In Het Postkantoor vinden wij : Vriendelijke mensen en een gezellige sfeer, alleen koffie drinken = GOED ! Pannenkoeken eten = verrukkelijk ! Diner = laat je verrassen! Het is gewoonweg een zeer goede plek om te vertoeven, met z'n tweetjes of zelfs met een hele grote groep, bijvoorbeeld een bruiloftsfeest, daarvoor hebben zij een speciaal gezellig ingerichte feestruimte ( ze hebben geen glijbaan )

We had coffee and tea with a delicious bavarois pastry and an Ermelootje, which is a mocha with hazelnut pastry. Satisfied, we could continue our bike tour.

We had made a reservation on Tuesday for Sunday, but when we arrive they are closed... you say that during the telephone conversation. Google also indicates that they are open on Sundays, which is a shame, I was really looking forward to it.

Went cycling on the Veluwe on Sunday. In Ermelo we ended up at the grand café Het Postkantoor. On Sundays they only serve tapas dishes. I had something with shrimp and something with steak. Was very tasty. Service was friendly

Experienced a musical afternoon here with the Jazz band Nice and Easy. Good music. The service here is quick and friendly. The Post Office is highly recommended: Good atmosphere, pleasant service and reasonable prices. Live music every Sunday afternoon in July and August.

Rarely have I been served such dirty food. These people really shouldn't put lasagna on the menu. Sauce from the packet, veg chicken pieces as minced meat, no Italian twist. The ready-made one from the super is better than this. The sauces from other table companions were also clearly maggi packets. Bah

What a wonderful Grand Café, with really great service. Friendly, helpful really great. It's a shame that the quality of the food was not good. Schnitzels were not tender and somewhat burnt, spare ribs were not cooked enough. I think the cook had an off day. We will definitely come back because I read good reviews and it is such a nice tent.

Snelle bediening. Die al vraagt wat je wilt drinken zonder dat je de kaart hebt bekeken. Toch maar snel een groot biertje besteld Brand weizen 0.5 en een spa rood. Bij het afrekenen schrokken we wel. € 9.00 voor een Brand Weizen 0.5 de 3 euro voor de spa is wel oké. Doe hier wat mee is mijn advies

Tuesday chicken day, delicious chicken and drinks.

Went here for dinner with a group. Took forever for dishes to arrive. Starter fine, main courses need some comment. Steak instead of sirloin steak, despite the promise, no garnish on the table except 2 potatoes and 1 asparagus on the plate, burnt spare ribs and not unlimited as stated on the menu. I won't be going back here anytime soon

Had a party. The room quickly became noisy and it was difficult to hear others. Very good service!
