It's a shame that there is no seating available when you just want to eat an ice cream with older people. Not even a bench available at the entrance. There is such a nice sign by the road for soft serve ice cream, and unfortunately, no thought is given to this. Attention was focused solely on people who came to eat. At least, that is how it came across. The staff was nice, though. I would like to visit the restaurant again, but I won't be eating ice cream there anymore.

All in all, the pancakes tasted fine. It does seem like there is too little staff for the number of people. It was a bit chaotic and rushed, and we had to wait a very long time. Additionally, several items on the menu were unavailable because ingredients were out of stock.

During our holiday in Putten, we were craving pancakes, so we ended up at this restaurant using ChatGPT. It is located on a holiday park and the terrace overlooked the small swimming pool. Quite cozy. The service was friendly and we were able to order our drinks quickly. We had to wait quite a while for the menu, and taking our food orders could have been faster too. It wasn't very busy, but after waiting for an hour, we received our pancakes, which were very good by the way.

Pancake house with the strangest pancakes. Schnitzel very pricey and very disappointing; for over €20, not even a little bit of vegetables, the sauce was a few drops of pepper sauce. What a shame! We called in advance to make a reservation. It wasn't a problem. Inside, it looks very nice and well-maintained. Outside, there is a nice terrace with a beautiful, well-kept playground. But.....despite having made a reservation, it took an incredibly long time. Waiting 40 minutes for a menu and the first drink. After that, having to wait well over 120 minutes for three pancakes. I really think that is too long. I spoke to the owner or manager about this. They were short on staff and had a very large group. Why did you accept my telephone reservation then?! Just say you didn't have any space. Eventually, we were given priority over the large group. To top it all off, we couldn't order anything from the dessert menu because they didn't have time for it. We came there to celebrate something. That was important to us. It is a real shame that the dinner was ruined. If I had known this, we wouldn't have gone here. The pancake was fine and tasty. Lots of choice. But that was literally where it ended. Ordering a drink was already an art. Three stars for the pancakes minus two because they don't have time for your dessert so you just don't get it. Three stars for the decor. That is fine, but the service was rushing, hurrying, and curt. Not pleasant for the customer who is paying and looking forward to the evening. The service was, of course, just bad.

We cycled past here because we were on vacation and asked if we could just grab a quick drink and play with my 2.5-year-old son. We probably didn't arrive at the right time. One of the staff members seemed quite tense and was mainly busy. Naturally, we understood this and gave them time. In the end, we asked for a drink three more times. We were directed to a spot where one person allowed us to sit, while another didn't. I think it's more of a place where you're supposed to eat as well, rather than just coming for a drink. The location is very beautiful, situated in the woods, with a nice, spacious play area for children of all ages and also an indoor play corner. There are a lot of people present, so that creates a pleasant atmosphere; in that respect, it really is a vacation spot. Personally, we didn't feel seen or welcome, and I found that a shame.

I had a Caesar salad, so you expect a salad with that flavor, but it had chicken on it with a shawarma flavor. It tasted reasonably good in itself, but then you shouldn't call it a Caesar salad; that's what you expect.

We also just walked right in and asked if we could come in for dinner. The children can play wonderfully outside; my grandson loves the water pump and the big slide. The pancakes are tasty, and the schnitzel is too. With every coffee you order, you get one chocolate and a small whipped cream liqueur on the side, super delicious. After paying, the children are allowed to pick something out. And my grandson always likes the claw machine, to grab just one more toy for 1 euro. So you can understand, after reading this message, that this was a very successful day. We went to the Hunter's Nest for the first time today. What a lovely, beautiful place (read: restaurant) this is. It's really geared towards children. But the food is very good and delicious. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We will definitely be back with the grandchildren. We had a great time. The spicy chicken sandwich is sublime. Too bad the weather wasn't great. It looked nice outside too.

I wonder if the Driehoek holiday park is the same as the Driehoek where I went for a three-day school trip in the 1960s?

The restaurant can get very busy. While there's a play area inside, the fun play equipment is outside. The restaurant can accommodate more people than the children's play area. The food is okay; both the pancakes and the sandwiches were tasty enough, though unfortunately, the cutlery didn't cut through everything. After ordering, the food took another 45 minutes, and to top it all off, they didn't want to redeem our discount voucher after we accidentally showed it too late. Too bad because the food was okay, but we will definitely not be coming back here. response to owner: I think the answer is very weak. We indicated that we had the voucher when we arrived, and you had not settled it. We then asked for it and the problem was put to the customer and they said that it was no longer possible. Even though we were too early for the kitchen, it opens at 12 noon (we had received a gift voucher from Camping de Paalberg €10) Christian made 2 pancakes for us at 11.15 am. Super tasty. We had dinner there with the family for my friend's birthday. Asked one of the staff if they could surprise him with fireworks in his dessert, for example. A freshly brewed cup of coffee accompanied by a beautifully decorated plate full of delicacies: light whipped cream with liqueur, a creamy bonbon on a stick, and the icing on the cake: a piece of warm apple pie with whipped cream and a hint of cocoa. Everything taken care of down to the last detail, both in terms of taste and presentation. The sun was shining, the terrace was cozy and the service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommended for those looking for an atmospheric break with something tasty!

Cozy restaurant with reasonable pancakes. There is a nice play area for children in the large room. In the small room there is a toy mountain (unobtrusive) that is placed near a door that always opens and closes with a bang. This is not convenient for the little ones. Staff are very friendly and work hard.
