Good and tasty food. Not expensive.

Had lunch with colleagues yesterday afternoon. The burgers were delicious and the staff super friendly. I'll definitely go here again!!

We had an appointment at 6:30 PM. I worked in Rotterdam, so the work HAD to be finished. We rescheduled the appointment for 7:30 PM, no problem. We didn't arrive until 8:15 PM and were greeted very kindly. The food was delicious, the service very friendly, and the atmosphere is/was great. ♥️

We had a delicious meal and it was very pleasant. The Horster platter, the soup, and the herb butter are highly recommended. If you prefer schnitzel, it was also good.

Cozy, modern decor, with a variety of low and high tables. Fast, friendly service. I find the hamburgers reasonably priced at around €9, with the option of adding fries for a fee. There's a nice three-course menu for around €23. We'll definitely be back.

Nice snack bar and the restaurant is also fine. Only there isn't enough parking, so cars often park on the street and bike path where they shouldn't. Very annoying.

We had something to celebrate with our neighbors. Two of the five people are or will soon be 75 years old. A good reason for dinner. We enjoyed the food. Everything was delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff was friendly. It wasn't busy, so they even had time for a chat. We will definitely come back.

Upon arrival, it was difficult to find a parking spot; we ended up parking on the shoulder. Upon entering, no one greeted us; they just looked at us. When we were finally helped, and I gave my name to make a reservation, the response was: "What?!" Not polite for a restaurant, and I wouldn't want to be addressed that way. We also received no help at all in choosing a wine, and we waited 50 minutes for our appetizer. Then we waited another long time for the main course, though someone did come by to apologize for the long wait, as it was busy. The food itself was good, but nothing special. Furthermore, it was so warm inside that our entire group was sweltering, and we were seated next to the snack bar, which was crowded and smelled strongly of frying fat. I would recommend sitting in the conservatory instead of inside.

Four tourists made a reservation at De Vos, guided by the good reviews. We had a great meal for an equally great price. Large portions, too. It's also important that they take people with allergies or dietary requirements very seriously, as was the case with my wife's lactose intolerance. The staff is very young but polite and very friendly. They understand how to pamper guests. The atmosphere is relaxed and relaxed. Food and drinks arrive quickly. I get the impression that the staff also enjoy working there, given the atmosphere. Not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but simply good, honest, delicious food.

We arrived with a large group, as agreed. Everything was perfectly arranged!!! Very nice and attentive service!! And the food was fantastic!!! Relaxed atmosphere!!! They really got it right!!! Perhaps a bit biased, as this concerns my employer of about 30 years ago... but it was the first time in a long time. Everything is beautifully decorated, now more of a restaurant than the bar and dining area back then... delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly service... Now to relax, because it was truly more than adequate... value for money.

We come back here every year for dinner because of the summer fair. The food seems to be declining a bit. (More cheese than carpaccio, the steak slices were tough.) Very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere! ✨

Nice terrace and a good meal for a normal price

Delicious food at fair prices in an uncomplicated setting. We're fans of the three-course menu. The staff are all fantastic, always friendly and helpful. And if you have spare ribs left over, for example, they offer to wrap them up to take home. In short, highly recommended, and we'd love to return.

What a great and fun restaurant! 50 years in Ermelo and never knew you could eat well there... delicious

You get what you pay for. If you want to eat out on a budget, this is a great place to go. But after eating here a few times, I can conclude that this is not our favorite. The bread starter is great, nothing to complain about. The carpaccio is okay. Fortunately not cold, but at room temperature as you would like. Only there was proportionally too much Parmesan cheese on it (never thought that would ever be a negative point for me). The chicken satay is dry, very dry. Absolutely not recommended from me. The pork medallions ditto, also very dry. With (too) much sauce in an attempt to mask the dryness. The spareribs were deliciously tender with a crispy coating, but I had the feeling that I was eating plain spareribs with a bit of sugar on top. The garlic sauce was really necessary for a bit of flavor. Too bad, because the meat was really good. The soft-serve dessert is of course just fine. The coffee was also a big fine. The espresso is well balanced (although it could use a little more acid, but that's snobbery). Usually it's okay here in terms of noise, except on Saturday. I couldn't hear my table partners without having to lean forward.

Everything 4 stars and why then 5 stars in total? Because the price quality ratio is just great. Fast correct service and the food is exactly what you expect. Old-fashioned good nice portions friendly and fast service. With three of us just a quick meal with a drink and under 75 euros. Just simple and good. I will come back here.

Erg lekker gegeten voor een lage prijs. Wij hadden het 3 gangen menu voor 21,95 per persoon. Het eten was super lekker en de service was top, lieve en vriendelijke bediening. We konden onze spareribs niet helemaal op er werd door de serveerster aangeboden om dit in te pakken zodat we het mee naar huis konden nemen. Wij komen hier zeker snel weer.

Delicious food for a great price

Out with mother for lunch. She has difficulty walking, but no problem, furniture was moved and she could drive straight to her table. Very tasty food, I had the eel with salmon, it looked a bit sad compared to the food of the others. But the taste was great and as you can see, not everything is what it seems. Everything was well taken care of and we have nothing to complain about, just tasty and good.

Christmas dinner on Boxing Day. What wonderful food we had there. 4 courses. Every course was superb. The salmon bonbon and the venison steak must stay! Were prepared perfectly. We will come again next year.

Ze motten de openingstijden veranderen, er staat open tot 22:00 uur en als je er om 21:51 uur bent is de deur dicht en zegt men gesloten en dacht dat klant koning was maar ja. Het eten is wel goed en heb er ca 50 keer besteld en niet meegemaakt dat er iets niet bezorgd werd, lauw was ed , maar niet ok bij bezorgen patat dan krijg je een lullig portie patat dus ik bestelde altijd 2 porties patat. Weet niet of ik nog een keer langs ga of nog een keer ga bestellen ik vind het niet juist, open tot 22:00 uur is bij mijn weten open tot 22:00 uur.

The menu is excellent, 3 courses for a nice price, more than enough choice for me, I will go for the Carpaccio salad, you pay a little more, definitely worth it. A bit chaotic kitchen and service, but good food for a fair price.

Picked up 3 hamburgers and a bag of fries tonight. Due to the crowds, they quickly finished it. Bread was very hard and the wrong burgers were given. There was almost no need for lettuce and sauce. Very unfortunate, normally I have always had good experiences with the fox. But we don't order hamburgers there anymore.

Friendly staff, delicious food, sat in the conservatory, the plus point is that smoking is not allowed here. For this, people have to go to the side outside the conservatory. At one point the roof of the conservatory closed and the sound was a bit more reverberant, but we could hear each other perfectly, we will definitely come back here again.

Going on holiday in this area for a few days from the south. Decided to make a reservation here with 2 people and our dog was also welcome. We both chose the 3 course menu. This was very popular. Delicious food for a fair price. Everything tasted fresh and was well prepared. The service was extremely friendly and correct. There were also some local visitors, and the place was neat and attractive. It was quite noisy, but not a problem for us. Definitely recommended

If we couldn't give a star, we would. Today we were at the restaria. That lady came to us to order. Then we told the lady that we would like a menu. She gave it to us but she never came to take our order. And this was the second time in 2 months. We wait at least 15 minutes. Completely dissatisfied. Definitely not recommended!!!!

Celebrated a birthday here with lunch. Delicious food. A special ice cream was even made for the birthday boy or girl.

Restaria de Vos is located in the hamlet of Horst. Free parking spaces are available. The service is excellent, kind and attentive and shows craftsmanship. That craftsmanship is also reflected in the dishes, because they were tasty. We enjoyed our extensive lunch on the terrace. The tomato soup was fresh and hot, a must in my opinion. There was also a nice warm sandwich. The wiener schnitzel was delicious with fries or potatoes of your choice. There was also a nice fresh salad. My mother thought it was too much and gave half of the wiener schnizel in a doggy bag. Offered by the waiter, who is also doing a good job of sustainability. Finally, we were spoiled with a delicious soft egg with whipped cream. We chose without sauce. The three-course menu is not expensive and highly recommended. The rest? I'll definitely be back to try more. Did you know that you can also have a good party here? Please reserve in advance.

We had made a reservation so we waited in the walk-in until we were assigned a table. No welcome or hello from the bartender/waiter, that tall old gray guy. Apparently we were in his way, because he unceremoniously pushes me and my son out of the way to get past. Unbelievable... It's that my son had to eat, otherwise we would have turned around and left. Apparently I now see more in the reviews that this man is known as an unfriendly and unsympathetic employee. It seems he also reflects this on the rest of the staff. In any case, enough reason for us not to eat here with the family from now on. From now on we will go to the Nile in Soest again. Too bad, because the food was otherwise excellent.

ff snel een hap na het surfen. Je weet dat je in een soort snackbar gaat eten. Het terras is ruim en je zit er lekker. Wel heel lang wachten op je eten. Wij hebben een uur op ons eten moeten wachten en toen we er voorzichtig naar vroegen, werden we afgesnauwd door vermoedelijk de eigenaar. Hij kon overigens een goed voorbeeld nemen aan zijn medewerkers/ collega’s want het overige personeel was heel vriendelijk.

Nice place, friendly staff and good portions. Had a bacon burger and it was great! Real Hereford beef (not a factory sawdust burger) with a toasted burger bun and not stingy with the tasty bacon, good distribution of sauce, onion, cucumber with a dollop of pulled pork. I will definitely come back for that again 👌🏻
