A separate area in the restaurant for a group of 30 people was very pleasant

I ended up in Zwolle because that was the only place available for an appointment with the IND. Since it was a working day and I had to work after my appointment, I chanced upon Grand Café Lubeck only out of convenience while trying to find a place I could work and I had no regrets. The seats for working were comfortable with the view overlooking the train station, so good for some in between tasks eye wandering lol. I ordered fries and fish and it was really warm and delicious. I had an accountable number of teas (herbal mix and mint) during the 5 hours I was there. The staff were always patient and kind with me keeping the refills coming. I'll say this place is a gem which I stumbled up but hope to return if I ever go back to Zwolle.

We've never wanted to get away from somewhere so badly. Out of sheer necessity, we sat down here, but alas, what a mess. We thought, "What could possibly go wrong with a cappuccino?" Apparently, a lot of it, weak coffee with a thin layer of cold milk. Unworthy of a cappuccino, and many an Italian would agree with us. Well, let's have something to eat then. Fish and chips that looked double-fried. Right now, everything is swimming in our stomachs, and we hope we don't get sick. You don't go here for the atmosphere; it exuded discomfort. It was a dark place, tastelessly decorated, and the music was as soft as the fries. The staff was friendly, but nevertheless, we left feeling sad.

I had a cup of fresh mint tea here with a friend, and she had a cappuccino. The drinks were excellent, and the "latte art" was also well-thought-out, but above all, the service was excellent! The English-speaking woman (with the long dark hair, who also spoke Dutch) was particularly friendly and knowledgeable. That's why I'll definitely be back :)

Very friendly staff, great food and good atmosphere. The only problem is a printing error in the menu. We assumed that the 12 half liters of Grolsch were 6.20. However, on the other side of the menu it said 6.70 for the same product and at the bottom in small letters that the menu may contain printing errors. We noticed this and the owner said: oh well, it's a mistake. It is what it is. It can happen. The Consumers' Association states that the lowest price should be used, and on a bill of 230 euros, responsibility may be taken for your own mistake and that was missing. Ten minutes and you have corrected the menu with a pen and marker.

This is one of those places where you immediately get stuck. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food surprisingly good and the service always cheerful. Boss throws water over people. Dealing with the customers is very bad. Cups were already very dirty and not clean. Boss is very BIG! And tries to intimidate because he thinks we are not allowed to give an opinion.

The new owner has breathed new life into this place and that is evident from the fact that it is always full during the week, especially around lunch. Dishes are good, enough and not expensive. The staff is attentive and fast.

Since Grand Café Lübeck has a new owner, it is as if a breath of fresh air is blowing. Customer service has noticeably improved and you immediately feel welcome as soon as you enter. The new owner clearly has an eye for detail, for example the care for the lighting on the table (a broken lamp immediately receives attention) and has assembled an excellent team around him. The café, which actually sounds inferior because it is so much more. However, it brings liveliness and warmth and offers a nice meeting place for the neighborhood. Thanks to their appearance and hospitable ambiance, Grand Café Lübeck gives the square that little bit of extra charm it craves. In short, Grand Café Lübeck has put itself back on the map under the leadership of the new owner and his super team. Nice place and kind people! A;lso close to the station. Somehow you can't use your own wifi hotspot on your telephone there, maybe something is jamming it, I couldn't get it to work, but as soon as I was outside it connected as normal. So don't go here if you want to work and aren't aloowed to use open wifi networks!

We were already enthusiastic about Lübeck, but now that we had a party there, even more so! We and our guests enjoyed it! Nice atmosphere, good and friendly staff and delicious (vegetarian) snacks.

From Rijswijk on the way to Franeker, got off in Zwolle for lunch. Opposite the exit of the Café Lubeck train station. A top location and everything else presented in 5 stars. Smooth service, a delicious lunch in an attractive Grand café. Never change a winning team!

I'm terribly sorry. Sat with a few colleagues. Someone had arranged a drinks package. And then you pay more than 26 euros for 2 spa reds and a few individual snacks. This does not make sense.

My girlfriend from Weesp and I, from Emmen, went to Lübeck for dinner before our theater visit, it was fantastic! The mustard soup (can also be ordered vegetarian) is the best we have ever eaten and the vegetarian burgers were delicious. We thought we were accidentally eating meat but they use Garden Gourmet products and they are (apparently) very good. What a sweet staff and great chef. We will eat here more often!

Been a few times now for Friday afternoon drinks. Always pleasant and good service. Had dinner once, it was great, excellent price/quality ratio. The snacks are always good, including vegetarian options. Super chill place close to the station!

The restaurant looked really nice. We often walked past it on the way to school, so we gave it a try. The sandwich we wanted was not possible, so we went for the carpaccio, which came across as gray and with a bad previous experience, we did not dare to eat the gray brownish carpaccio, which we immediately told the waiter before we had taken a bite. . Service takes it back and states that all carpaccio looks and should look like this and that it had been taken out of the freezer the day before. Personal experience in the catering industry and carpaccio fresh from the freezer should be redder in color and certainly not brown. what else was ordered, after we had already received the other food, the chef returned with our sandwiches to ask what was wrong with it and what he should do with it now?! In the end we had to pay for half of the sandwiches and were given the choice to take it with us or throw it away. Initially we took it with us with the intention of giving it to a homeless person, but he also deserves better. Absurd that you still have to pay a part under the guise of food waste as if it were our fault

Het broodje was heerlijk maar de plek waar we zaten was verschrikkelijk. Dat was vlakbij het toilet waar sinds december een probleem is met de riolering , een broodje eten met poeplucht in je neus zorgde ervoor dat ik kotsmisselijk werd. Hopelijk worden er voorlopig geen gasten neergezet totdat het probleem is verholpen.

Deze zaak zit gelijk achter het station. Je kunt er heerlijk lunchen en dineren. Ook voor een feestje en/of vergadering kun je hier goed terecht! Het personeel is erg vriendelijk! We komen graag een keer terug als we in Zwolle zijn!

Drinks were delivered quickly, just like Bittergarnituur. And the perfectly right beer for me, Trippel Afflinghem. Really enjoyed it. Recommended. And also close to the station 😊 if you have just had a hard day at work.

We were caught in the rain and found this lovely and cosy restaurant which is directly opposite the Zwolle Train Station. The taller and blonde waitress in her 20s (forgotten to ask for her name) is really sweet, polite and attentive. The food serve was delicious especially their beef burger. Tender and juicy beef with lots of fries and bacon. Will come again if nearby next time.

I gave two stars because reservations were made for 8 people, but we canceled 2 hours in advance due to corona complaints. So there were 6 of us but we had to pay for 8... On the phone they did say thank you for letting us know, but not that we still had to pay for 8. Also when it came to snacks there was only 6 of everything instead of 8 and only at the end came the surprise that we had to pay for 8 after all. Because of this I will never go here with a group again!
