My initial encounter with this establishment was an immediately pleasant, positive, successful, and delicious experience. The decor and ambiance are charming. The menu has clearly been carefully and passionately crafted. The drink selection is also more than excellent. Hospitality and Expertise are rightly capitalized here. Suitable for all kinds of groups, meetings, and activities. It is absolutely recommended that you visit this acclaimed establishment. Prepare to be surprised, and you won't regret it.

We've eaten here several times now (lunch/dinner) after our first visit a few months ago, which was excellent. It's fair to say (from experience...) that the overall quality is consistently high: the decor, menu, service, and cuisine: so far, we haven't found any weaknesses; quite the opposite. Yesterday we had another delicious meal at De Graanbeurs. The restaurant is really lovely and cozy, despite the noisy atmosphere, which we don't mind. It's often a bit chaotic upon arrival; you rarely get seated on time, and a 10- to 25-minute wait at the bar is the norm. That's something for improvement, but despite that, it's always a pleasant experience with delicious food, and we enjoy coming here.

Great little cafe/restaurant. Excellent food; we had the baked mussels and the hamburger with fries. The meat and mussels were excellent, the price/performance ratio was good, the ambiance was stunning, and the service was super attentive. Highly recommended. Thanks for the great lunch.

A very unpleasant experience! We had asked before if dogs are allowed this was answered with yes if they are not the largest.... When we arrived, all the seats outside were free only on one stand 2 glasses of beer as we ask, however, if we could sit down, this was considered very arrogant and unsympathetic by the owner himself as no answer for new guests, the kitchen is closed ..... he had not even seen our dog himself because I was outside with him, so it is difficult to assume that it is about the (I say the appearance of my Thai girlfriend) ;) But we were received very nicely next to!

Friendly owner, great staff, super good food. In short, something for everyone.

Vanmiddag even zakelijk gaan lunchen om het aanstaande zwangerschapsverlof van een collega te vieren. De Terneuzense variant van het 12-uurtje vlees besteld. Franse uiensoep (aangebrande gegratineerde kaas en veel te veel brood in de soep), carpaccio, een kroket op een slappe bruine boterham en iets dat leek op een salade. De bediening stelde een opmerking over de kwaliteit niet op prijs. Jammer, gemiste kans en volgende keer toch maar weer een andere locatie.

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken (dat alleen verdient al 5 sterren), maar wat wellicht nog beter was dan het eten was de werkelijk zeer attente en vriendelijke bediening; zo je je het maar zelden meer. Aanrader!

Had a delicious meal with my two sisters just like before The Passion. The staff is helpful and pleasant. The food is more than delicious and they have nice non-alcoholic drinks on the menu. All in all, highly recommended for Terneuzen.

we waren hier al eens eerder geweest ( 05/2024 ) maar opnieuw top, jong en vriendelijk personeel, en de keuken top, in de late namiddag nog eens langsgeweest voor een pannenkoek , vooral de crêpe suzette was een toppertje, voor deze bistro wil ik nog gerust wat kilometers omrijden .

Really delicious food and top service. Sat at the bar because it was busy. It was also great, because the bartender was great. The fact that we 'had' to go to the theater was even taken into account. Next time Martijn will give me the Duvel refrigerator. Very nice of him 😋

Superb choice and you don't often see that in the catering industry anymore, onion soup, rabbit, béarnaise sauce, escargots etc etc it was very tasty, cozy and affordable. 1 small disadvantage.. we were next to the toilet and we smoked that too.. not very nice if you have to eat ;-)

Wij kennen goed deze zaak en personeel,toch deze zaak is het slachtoffer geworden van hun succes. Wij hadden een bevestigde reservatie voor 4 personen om 18,30h ,bij aankomst was deze reservatie niet geplant en hoeven we 15 a 20 min te wachten tot een tafel vrij komt.Bij het wachten is er door de eigenaars geen woordje uitleg of verontschuldigingen gegeven wat vrij onaardig aankomt bij onze nieuwe gasten die voor de eerste maal dit restaurant bezoeken.het eten is zoals gewoonlijk naar wens en ook de bediening,er was heel veel luidruchtige klanten die ons gesprek onmogelijk maakten.Bij het afrekenen altijd naar je rekening zien ,er was een gerecht van een andere tafel op onze rekening geplaatst,nog steeds hebben wij geen verontschuldigingen mogen ontvangen en dit vinden wij jammer van de Graanbeurs die ook ons en nieuwe klanten zien verloren gaan. Door de dagelijkse drukte kunnen de eigenaars weggevallen klanten geen noot schelen en daarom dit review op Tripadvisor.

The weather was fantastic and pleasantly busy as usual.

You have to have been there to award these stars and the crowds tell you enough. We went back with a group on November 1, 2024 with 4 people. Our reservation had been confirmed for days, but when we arrived there was no table available and we had to wait until a table became available (15 to 20 minutes). This business is a victim of their success and the owners have not apologized and I cannot accept this as a customer who knows this business. It will be a long time coming for a next visit. Too bad Graanbeurs, and think of your regular customers in the future.

Leuke Parijse Bistrostijl. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Vraag wel een plaats voorin het restaurant dan zit je een stuk ruimer. Het is eten is werkelijk fantastisch. De Canard a L’orange en het konijn op grootmoederswijze waren ontzettend goed klaargemaakt. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is meer dan in orde. Ben je in Terneuzen ga dan zeker hier eten.

Great place for a meal, or even just coffee and desserts! We had the chai latte and dirty chai latte, as well as the creme brulee and cherry cheesecake, would definitely recommend! Also try the mustard soup!

The fish pan was super tasty, the fries delicious and the steak tender and crispy, exactly as requested. Congratulations to the entire team. We were there for the opening of the new lock and luckily we had made a reservation in advance.

Always pleasant there, the quality is very good there, whether you go for lunch or dinner, there is plenty of choice.

On a busy Friday evening we walked in without a reservation. So don't do that, but we were well looked after by the friendly staff. Service and food were great! Definitely recommended if it's your turn.

Prijs en kwaliteit zijn echt in orde,je kan er een Duvel drinken van het vat en dat hebt je niet in ons landje,fillet pur is daar ossenhaas en zo mals als boter,specialiteit is de soep van Zeeuwse strandcrab en garnalen,je eet echt smakelijk en betaalbaar. De drukte is het bewijs dat het daar goed zit. Vispannetje is daar een echte Vispan met verse stukken vis. Ijsbereidingen zijn er de max. Vriendelijk personeel.

Op het terras(je) een licht avondmaal gedaan. Allemaal best prima tegen een redelijke prijs. Alleen zijn de vierkante meters kennelijk erg kostbaar in Terneuzen, want je kunt je echt niet meer bewegen als je je in je stoeltje hebt gewurmd. Het bistrotafeltje was van Piggelmee afmetingen. Niet prettig. Een pluspunt voor de uitgeserveerde Irish Coffee, die kwam met ambachtelijk geslagen room en zonder lepeltje! Hulde!

Today I visited the Grain Exchange with my girlfriend and unfortunately it was a big disappointment. My friend ordered the vegan dessert that said 'Be surprised'. We were surprised because we had to pay no less than €8.50 for a Magnum ice cream on a plate with some fruit and cookies around it (see photos). Ridiculous! I ordered profiteroles, and I received one very large scoop of vanilla ice cream covered in a small layer of dough and lots of chocolate and whipped cream. Not what we expected and also not really tasty. In the end I spent 26 euros for two drinks and two desserts... Finally, the staff wasn't even friendly. When we left the food they didn't even ask if we didn't like it or what was wrong. A few years ago the prices, food and staff were much better. Very unfortunate, because I liked coming here. Not recommended!

Heerlijk gegeten in een prettige ambiance. De salade en de stoverij waren heerlijk en verzorgd opgediend. Voor mij was de bierkaart een mooie bijkomstigheid!

Supper slecht alles was niet goed de slip. Tongetjes kwamen uit de diepvries. Was gewoon slecht. Gewoon balen voor die 77€

Stopped for coffee and came back for lunch. Nice card with a French twist. Friendly and cooperative staff. Nice ambiance. And lunch? That was delicious. Are you in Terneuzen? Then step in here. We don't regret our choice.

After a busy day out in Ghent and Knokke we wanted to eat at the court in Terneuzen, we arrived there at half past seven and we were told that they were closing with three tables of guests outside and a few tables inside, closing? at half past seven man man man we could go to the grain exchange which was probably still open, well indeed the place was quite busy a table for 2 was no problem and we had a delicious meal there beforehand you don't see the taste of escargot everywhere anymore the spread was a bit less in combination with the escargots, but otherwise we had the ribeye, which was very tasty, well cooked. In the end, we had a delicious meal, sufficient and affordable, and we will definitely return. As for the restaurant dish in Terneuzen, I would go and see how it really should be in the catering industry, because after you have chased away a super good force and motivation, they really don't understand anything anymore, closing at half past seven is a joke. You will definitely see us again at the Grainbeurs Update: we ate again last Wednesday, May 22, after a visit to Terneuzen, as before the atmosphere was good, but it was a pity that the lady who took our order did not listen carefully. We ordered the carpaccio as a starter and the tenderloin with pepper sauce as a main course. Now we were quite early and the place was quite quiet, but this time it took quite a long time before we could eat, now we are not sitting on a kicking chair but we were full of expectations for our carpaccio which unfortunately never came, it arrived after almost 45 minutes. then suddenly.... the tenderloin that was almost medium instead of rare. When commenting that we had also ordered the carpaccio, the young lady said oh I had not received that, I can have it delivered after your main course. No, sorry, I won't start with my dessert, will I? This was a strong anti-climax and not something we are used to here, so we skipped dessert and decided to go home, who knows, maybe try again in a while, hopefully it will go well.
