We have been coming here for a while now and enjoy it very much. It is a cozy place with incredibly friendly service. The pizzas generally taste good, although the quality is occasionally a tad inconsistent. It is always a nice surprise when you get a limoncello on the house — too bad this isn't standard, because it tastes great!

After our first visit with friends, we were so impressed that we went back for another meal three days later! The verdict: the pizza was the best I've ever eaten. Despite the restaurant being full, the atmosphere was cozy, and we didn't have to wait long. The organization and service were absolutely professional on both visits, and the preparation of the pizzas in a converted Ape (a small, converted pickup truck) is a feast for the eyes. You can tell that they put their love into their work! Despite the wide selection in Plasmolen, we've found our favorite restaurant and wish the owners all the best! Keep it up! - E+A Bansemer

A really super cozy restaurant with fantastic food.

Yesterday, thanks to a gift voucher, we visited Villa Grano for the first time. From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome! The service is very attentive and hospitable. The clear and concise menu is actually a huge plus: a focus on pure quality and taste. We enjoyed the luxury menu, which turned out to be surprisingly diverse and very generous. Moreover, the wood-fired oven pizzas transported us straight back to Italy. Nothing but praise for this establishment!

Unfortunately, we had an unlucky evening! Seated at the table at 6:00 PM and still no food at 8:00 PM. The staff is fast and rushes past our table every time. We had family from the US visiting and they are not at all used to waiting this long. And finally, at 8:15 PM, our dishes arrived, with many apologies for the long wait. Unfortunately, the lasagna was overcooked and my daughter-in-law and I had the same dish; pasta with mushrooms. Only she had mushrooms and I had a sporadic single one. Afterwards, even more apologies and compensation on the bill. We are not angry but found it regrettable that it turned out this way. Unfortunately, an unlucky evening.

A very nice place; you really felt like you were in Italy for a moment with the Mediterranean plants and Italian music on the atmospheric terrace. The food that came by all looked good too, and we were served quickly by the staff. The pizza had a tasty crust as well; however, I wouldn't be quick to order the truffle one again. This was a pizza with truffle mayonnaise, and as far as I'm concerned, mayonnaise doesn't belong on a pizza.

Together with my son, we each ate a Salmone pizza on the charmingly Italian-decorated terrace. Delicious!! And for dessert, we each had a generous Coupe 'de Betuwe', with fresh strawberries from the Betuwe, ice cream, and whipped cream. Highly recommended!! Friendly staff, and our little dog was welcome too. This was our third visit, and we will definitely be back. Arrivederci!!

We had a delicious meal with 11 people from Vortum-Mullem. We took the plunge and opted for the surprise menu. We were blown away by the selection we were served. The first part consisted of various cheeses, cold cuts, and other delicacies. The second part consisted of different types and flavors of pizza. Finally, homemade tiramisu with ice cream. All this in a cozy atmosphere, a nice location, and good service. Special thanks to Sjors. We will definitely be back.

We were here yesterday and it all looked very nice from the outside. Then we were enticed by the promise of air conditioning inside, but there was no sign of it. We were also allowed to sit wherever we wanted, but we had to move when ordering our drinks and starters... because the owner had a problem if we stayed seated. Which is strange when you say I can sit anywhere, but anyway, we indicated that we were sitting perfectly here, but that wasn't an option for the woman. We stood up and the lady started making a whole scene in the middle of the restaurant and pulled my arm insisting that I stay seated right there. I felt so humiliated; I really wanted to go home immediately. Eventually, she said, "Just stay seated, and if you have to leave, then you have to move," as if I'm going to move when I already have my food... In the end, we went to sit somewhere else anyway because, well, this just isn't working. We ended up sitting at a table right next to the bar with a plank lying across our table because a vase was supposed to go on it; they didn't think about the guests at all. Furthermore, the waitress came to bring drinks and she said, "I don't know what it is, but yeah," very professional, but anyway. My pizza wasn't mixed either, even though I had 5 ingredients, so I had to do that myself. The starter plate was also dirty, and we had to wait another 10 minutes to pay. The best part is that no one sat at that table the entire evening. I left after the main course and will NEVER go back. I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant. My whole evening was ruined... what a shame.

Pizza Margarita was tasty, but I had expected more from it from the wood-fired oven, and we had tagliatelle ragu which was very flavorful.

Last week, we went for dinner here with two people. The menu looked good. But things actually went wrong right from the start, after ordering the first drinks. They were served at the table behind us, which of course can happen once in a while, but unfortunately, it didn't stop there. When the main course was served, we were only served one pizza; my main course did not arrive. The waitress who served us said she would go check in the kitchen to see where my main course was. However, 15 minutes later, no one had come to our table to explain where my main course was. After 20 minutes, we took matters into our own hands and signaled someone over, asking once again where my main course was. Unfortunately, it took some time again before we received any feedback. We were then told that my main course had been overlooked on the bill; this can happen, of course, and it was also very busy, so we understand that. What bothered me most was that there was hardly any feedback from the wait staff, and I just sat staring ahead for half an hour without a plate, while the other dish listed on the same bill had already been served half an hour earlier. The waitress who served us did indicate that she would make amends for this issue later, as we had practically had to eat separately and she found it very annoying herself. During the meal, the wait staff also came to our table about four times with the wrong drinks. After they had cleared the main course, they came to our table to ask if we wanted dessert. We indicated that we did not want dessert anymore because we had eaten enough. Subsequently, someone came to our table again with an ice cream sundae, which we had not ordered. We therefore indicated that we had not ordered it and sent it back. Then the waitress who served us that evening came back to our table to bring the ice cream sundae after all and indicated that it was on the house. We found this rather strange, since we had indicated five minutes earlier that we did not want to order dessert as we had eaten enough. We already suspected that this would be compensation for the long wait, and sure enough, when settling the bill, the ice cream sundae had been removed from the bill. However, we received nothing else as compensation, which is strange considering you indicate you don't want to order dessert anymore and then still receive an ice cream sundae as compensation. As far as I'm concerned, it was anything but handled properly. I must say, though, that the food was tasty. Which makes it all the more unfortunate that you are both eating your main course separately.

Plus: the wine, really good. Location is nice. Friendly staff. Food tastes good. To be improved: dilapidated sign at the entrance. Dirty scissors with the pizza. Food was lukewarm, starters way too expensive (€18). Communication with kitchen staff.

The building housing this restaurant is still being renovated, but that doesn't stop you from enjoying a cozy and delicious Italian meal here. You do have to climb a steep flight of stairs to get there, but it is well worth the effort. The service is prompt and friendly. The menu is not very extensive, but of course, it doesn't need to be. The food, prepared in the open kitchen, tastes exquisite. We had made a reservation in advance.

Top restaurant. We didn't bring locks for our bikes, but we were allowed to just ride them onto the terrace so we could keep an eye on them. Delicious food and extremely friendly service. Highly recommended!

I celebrated my birthday here on March 12, 2026, with family and friends. A total of 35 people. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff were fantastic. In the conversations afterwards, everyone said they were pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back again. In short, highly recommended!!

We'd been wanting to go to the restaurant in Plasmolen for a long time, and today we finally made a reservation. After sitting down, we waited about 15 minutes, but we didn't get a menu, and I ended up having to get one myself. We tried calling someone several times; the waitress kept saying she'd be there, but she always forgot us and started talking to other customers. When we confronted her about this, she said there were people from the Gelderlander newspaper there. We found this remark strange and disturbing, as it gives the impression that some customers are treated differently. Every customer should be treated equally. After this experience, we decided to leave the restaurant. We then went to another Italian restaurant, where we did have a nice evening. Unfortunately, this was a negative experience for me.

An excellent discovery close to our new home. The served pizzas were extremely tasty, the dough was fluffy and properly backed, the topping rich and well balanced. On top of that, the atmosphere was highly inviting, especially with the restaurant now being decorated for Christmas.

Firstly, you must climb 3 flights of steps giving you the impression of ascending to the heavens. What greats you is a pristine atmosphere with outdoor launges and a brick oven built into a van. The indoor seating presents with warmth of a wooden fireplace and ambiance of Italy. Greeted by smiling and friendly faces inviting you home. The food was delicious!!! We had salami pizza best ever and the Saltimboco di Pollo just like what I had back in Italy. The tiramisu was heavenly delicious 😋 only set back was my portion of chicken was small, leaving me wanting more. Will definitely be back but this time for pasta.

Good food and a beautiful location

We've ordered twice through Thuisbezorgd now, and both times the order was canceled at the last minute. My wife had already made a reservation for lunch, and when she arrived, it was canceled as well. Unfortunately, their business operations are completely out of order, because the food is actually quite delicious. If it gets delivered at least once... But until this is sorted out, we won't be ordering from them again. If you plan on eating there, make sure you have plenty of time.

What a warm welcome at this charming and charming restaurant. Delicious food. We deliberately chose a slow-cooked pork knuckle instead of a pizza. And it was delicious! As was the carpaccio. The wine was also wonderful with the dish. Very friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere! We're looking forward to trying the downstairs area when it's open for lunch. We'll definitely be back!

They have truly delicious pizzas here, and of course, much more! The atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant. And the staff is super friendly! They really go the extra mile for all their customers. The food and atmosphere were like being in Italy! Four of us went there in the evening. There were a few tables free. We all ordered pizzas. The crust was very thin, with just the right amount of tomato sauce and cheese. That's what I'm used to from Italy. The toppings weren't overly generous. At the waitress's recommendation, I ordered summer truffles on top of my Pizza Parma. They grated them over the pizza right at our table. A delicious addition to an already perfect pizza! It was accompanied by an Italian rosé wine that just went perfectly! To finish off, we had a limoncello on the house. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and prompt, which is unfortunately not a given these days. The only downside is the location on the main road. However, you sit on the elevated terrace and can't see the street. The noise is also kept to a minimum. All in all, highly recommended.

Unfortunately, unlike last time, we weren't very satisfied. We (two people) ordered drinks, a starter, a pizza for the main course, and wine. The cost was €111.85. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the pizza we ordered. When we addressed this, we were offered a new one—however, we didn't want to wait 45 minutes. We'll eat this one. "Thanks—I'll give you a discount." That turned out to be €2.50 on the final bill 🤨. Our neighbors also received limoncello on the house—obviously, I don't know the criteria for offering it—perhaps we were being too much of a nuisance. A bit of a shame 😳.

We were drawn to the smell during a bike ride. The freshly made pizzas not only smelled delicious, but they tasted fantastic too! The terrace had a cozy atmosphere; they turned on the heater because it had cooled down a bit due to a rain shower. The service was excellent! The chef, waitress, and owner were friendly, both of whom took plenty of time for a pleasant chat. The food arrived quickly, and we were politely asked if we wanted our main courses after we'd finished our appetizers. The music played pleasant Italian music. The only downside might be that you have to be able to climb stairs to get there, but it's absolutely worth it. We had a pleasant experience and highly recommend it!

It was the perfect end to the day! The four of us were there with a reservation. We sat under the tent, with a clear view of the wood-fired oven. The four pizzas were the best we've ever eaten: perfect dough, fresh ingredients, and quick preparation. The staff came frequently and always asked if anything was missing. Very good value for money. I really enjoyed my meal so much tonight. The food was so pure, so delicious, so authentically Italian, and so fresh. I had panzanella and pizza tartufo, and the service was also very nice and attentive.

Lovely terrace and the pizza I had was fantastic, the plates going to the other tables looked good too, by the way. Worth repeating and recommended.

High expectations based on the reviews. However, we were disappointed. Had to wait 1.5 hours for our main course. When the main course arrived, the pizza came without burrata (while it was explicitly ordered) and the carbonara was bland. We were given a glass of wine and the burrata in the end as compensation, but the wine was still on the bill. Little communication and clarity about the situation. There was supposed to be a different chef, but that should not be a reason for you to wait 1.5 hours or for the dishes not to taste. The previous Grano was definitely recommended. Villa Grano is not recommended at the moment.

Friendly staff and delicious pizzas

With 4 people we had a lovely meal on the terrace. Very friendly service. Both outside and inside cozy and atmospheric. Gave us, despite the rain, a real holiday feeling. I do recommend making a reservation. Don't be put off by the stairs at the front, you can also walk up via the back/via the parking lot. Highly recommended!

On our walking route “Mookerheide - Sint-Maartensberg - Plasmolen” we discovered this unique spot. We were really looking forward to ice coffee that was created for us on the spot. Afterwards we enjoyed lots of other goodies, with the sun on our faces. It was perfect, thank you! We will be back soon 🌞

The atmosphere inside and outside is cozy Italian, the building is beautifully situated on the hill and the service was very hospitable even during pick-up. Voor de vegetarische pasta fungi moest ik denk ik zelf op zoek naar paddestoelen in het bos 🤔, want die waren spoorloos in het gerecht. Nadat ik dit aangegeven heb werd er toch een bakje paddestoelen gebracht gelukkig . Voor mij als vrouw was de portie matig . Voor een man te weinig . Gelukkig hadden de anderen pizza besteld en die vielen in de smaak .

Wat een feest 🎉 . Pop up restaurant Pizza di Valentino aan de rijksweg (199a) in Plasmolen is meer dan de moeite waard. Wat een enthousiasme en wat een leuke zaak, gezellig (tijdelijk) ingericht met gevoel voor sfeer. Dinsdag is steaknight en wat hebben we genoten, beste steak van 2024 sofar. Prijzen helemaal OK, kwaliteit GEWELDIG. Verwen jezelf en ga hier heerlijk lunch of diner doen, lekker ongedwongen en 100% de moeite waard.

Na jaren gesloten te zijn, is Villa Grano weer geopend met een nieuwe eigenaar. We keken er enorm naar uit. We hadden 2 weken van te voren gereserveerd. Eenmaal aangekomen konden we een plaatsje uitzoeken. We kozen een plekje binnen aangezien het weer niet al te goed was. Er hing een enorme bleek lucht, wat wij allemaal enorm vervelend vonden. De kaart is redelijk beperkt, omdat ze nog aan het verbouwen zijn, er stonden denk ik zo’n 6/7 pizza’s op en 1 pasta. Na 3 kwartier gewacht te hebben tot onze bestelling op genomen zou worden, kwam (ik vermoed de eigenaresse) er iemand aan om “een slecht nieuws bericht te brengen”. Ze waren door de pizza bollen heen. Maar, ze konden echt alles maken, want er was een goede kok aanwezig. “Noem maar iets op, we maken het” prima, zou je zeggen. Tot dat alle opties die we opnoemden niet mogelijk waren. De vrouw zei zelfs “we kunnen alle pastas maken, behalve dan wat je wilt. Maar ja pizza kun je ook overal eten” wat we gek vonden, aangezien pizza vrijwel het enige is wat je serveert, en dat was ook het gene waarvoor we dus kwamen. Ook vertelde ze dat dit niet de eerste keer was dat dit ze was overkomen. We besloten om niet te blijven zitten, omdat dit niet de avond was die we in gedachte hadden. Wel netjes dat we de drankjes die we genuttigd hadden van het huis kregen. Maar helaas geen goede eerste indruk. Geen Villa Grano voor ons meer…

First impression was very poor. About all the supplies were gone and we had to wait at least 90 minutes for the starter. Very unfortunate. After the starter we went to the Malle Jan in Plasmolen. The service here was great by the way. This was highly recommended

I have rarely eaten such excellent food. The carpaccio was paper thin with excellent ingredients. The same goes for the pasta of the day. Simply recommended. Enjoy it.

First she forgot to serve us because we had not made a reservation (then say sorry, it is not possible) Pizza was half burnt because she did not fully know the pizza oven. And when paying they asked for a tip... We didn't think it was very nice, so we certainly didn't give it.
