I ended up here quite by chance/spontaneously. Delicious Italian food, good quality ingredients and wonderful flavors, very friendly service, top notch!

We'd been wanting to go to the restaurant in Plasmolen for a long time, and today we finally made a reservation. After sitting down, we waited about 15 minutes, but we didn't get a menu, and I ended up having to get one myself. We tried calling someone several times; the waitress kept saying she'd be there, but she always forgot us and started talking to other customers. When we confronted her about this, she said there were people from the Gelderlander newspaper there. We found this remark strange and disturbing, as it gives the impression that some customers are treated differently. Every customer should be treated equally. After this experience, we decided to leave the restaurant. We then went to another Italian restaurant, where we did have a nice evening. Unfortunately, this was a negative experience for me.

An excellent discovery close to our new home. The served pizzas were extremely tasty, the dough was fluffy and properly backed, the topping rich and well balanced. On top of that, the atmosphere was highly inviting, especially with the restaurant now being decorated for Christmas.

Cozy place with good food, but they don't speak much English.

The atmosphere was perfect, the staff incredibly friendly and the pizzas delicious!

Firstly, you must climb 3 flights of steps giving you the impression of ascending to the heavens. What greats you is a pristine atmosphere with outdoor launges and a brick oven built into a van. The indoor seating presents with warmth of a wooden fireplace and ambiance of Italy. Greeted by smiling and friendly faces inviting you home. The food was delicious!!! We had salami pizza best ever and the Saltimboco di Pollo just like what I had back in Italy. The tiramisu was heavenly delicious 😋 only set back was my portion of chicken was small, leaving me wanting more. Will definitely be back but this time for pasta.

Good food and a beautiful location

We've ordered twice through Thuisbezorgd now, and both times the order was canceled at the last minute. My wife had already made a reservation for lunch, and when she arrived, it was canceled as well. Unfortunately, their business operations are completely out of order, because the food is actually quite delicious. If it gets delivered at least once... But until this is sorted out, we won't be ordering from them again. If you plan on eating there, make sure you have plenty of time.

What a warm welcome at this charming and charming restaurant. Delicious food. We deliberately chose a slow-cooked pork knuckle instead of a pizza. And it was delicious! As was the carpaccio. The wine was also wonderful with the dish. Very friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere! We're looking forward to trying the downstairs area when it's open for lunch. We'll definitely be back!

What a fantastic evening we had at Villa Grano! Despite the rain, we chose to sit on the heated terrace, which was a great choice. What an atmosphere! You really feel like you're in Italy. The food exceeded our expectations! Not standard fare, but delicious and pure flavors. The service was excellent, and there was always time for a chat. Villa Grano, keep doing what you do, because this is a unique restaurant to cherish!

They have truly delicious pizzas here, and of course, much more! The atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant. And the staff is super friendly! They really go the extra mile for all their customers. We didn't have a reservation and still got a table even though it was actually full. Craving pizza? Definitely go to Vila Grano in Plasmolen :)

The food was delicious. Super fresh pizzas from a lovely wood-fired oven. The smell was wonderful too. Great service. We'll be back. Just one tip: we ordered a cheese board. Perhaps they should mention which cheeses were on offer when serving it. We thought we'd try at least two French cheeses. It's an Italian restaurant, so...

The food and atmosphere were like being in Italy! Four of us went there in the evening. There were a few tables free. We all ordered pizzas. The crust was very thin, with just the right amount of tomato sauce and cheese. That's what I'm used to from Italy. The toppings weren't overly generous. At the waitress's recommendation, I ordered summer truffles on top of my Pizza Parma. They grated them over the pizza right at our table. A delicious addition to an already perfect pizza! It was accompanied by an Italian rosé wine that just went perfectly! To finish off, we had a limoncello on the house. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and prompt, which is unfortunately not a given these days. The only downside is the location on the main road. However, you sit on the elevated terrace and can't see the street. The noise is also kept to a minimum. All in all, highly recommended.

We felt like we were in Italy. The four of us spontaneously went to this restaurant, and it was packed. A staff member greeted us very kindly. Because we hadn't made a reservation, it was a bit more difficult, but she quickly arranged an alternative for us. We had an incredible meal, and the service was incredibly friendly. Despite the crowd, we received our food very quickly, and it was delicious. We finished with a limoncello on the house, so it was a 100% success. We highly recommend Villa Grano and would love to return.

Unfortunately, unlike last time, we weren't very satisfied. We (two people) ordered drinks, a starter, a pizza for the main course, and wine. The cost was €111.85. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the pizza we ordered. When we addressed this, we were offered a new one—however, we didn't want to wait 45 minutes. We'll eat this one. "Thanks—I'll give you a discount." That turned out to be €2.50 on the final bill 🤨. Our neighbors also received limoncello on the house—obviously, I don't know the criteria for offering it—perhaps we were being too much of a nuisance. A bit of a shame 😳.

We were drawn to the smell during a bike ride. The freshly made pizzas not only smelled delicious, but they tasted fantastic too! The terrace had a cozy atmosphere; they turned on the heater because it had cooled down a bit due to a rain shower. The service was excellent! The chef, waitress, and owner were friendly, both of whom took plenty of time for a pleasant chat. The food arrived quickly, and we were politely asked if we wanted our main courses after we'd finished our appetizers. The music played pleasant Italian music. The only downside might be that you have to be able to climb stairs to get there, but it's absolutely worth it. We had a pleasant experience and highly recommend it!

It was the perfect end to the day! The four of us were there with a reservation. We sat under the tent, with a clear view of the wood-fired oven. The four pizzas were the best we've ever eaten: perfect dough, fresh ingredients, and quick preparation. The staff came frequently and always asked if anything was missing. Very good value for money. Simply the best pizza ever. Definitely give it a try.

I really enjoyed my meal so much tonight. The food was so pure, so delicious, so authentically Italian, and so fresh. I had panzanella and pizza tartufo, and the service was also very nice and attentive.

Lovely terrace and the pizza I had was fantastic, the plates going to the other tables looked good too, by the way. Worth repeating and recommended.

Fantastic pizzas and the best tiramisu I've had in a long time 🥇! I ordered three times during the Nijmegen Four Days Marches and was able to pick them up without waiting! I was able to finish the four-day marches 😎. Highly recommended, and I'd love to come back!

Fantastic food, friendly staff and top location

High expectations based on the reviews. However, we were disappointed. Had to wait 1.5 hours for our main course. When the main course arrived, the pizza came without burrata (while it was explicitly ordered) and the carbonara was bland. We were given a glass of wine and the burrata in the end as compensation, but the wine was still on the bill. Little communication and clarity about the situation. There was supposed to be a different chef, but that should not be a reason for you to wait 1.5 hours or for the dishes not to taste. The previous Grano was definitely recommended. Villa Grano is not recommended at the moment.

With 4 people we had a lovely meal on the terrace. Very friendly service. Both outside and inside cozy and atmospheric. Gave us, despite the rain, a real holiday feeling. I do recommend making a reservation. Don't be put off by the stairs at the front, you can also walk up via the back/via the parking lot. Highly recommended!

Kwamen zonder te reserveren binnen. De locatie is gewoon goed. Een op en top gastvrouw voor iedereen die binnen komt. Goede bediening. Lekkere gerechten. Net iets anders.

On our walking route “Mookerheide - Sint-Maartensberg - Plasmolen” we discovered this unique spot. We were really looking forward to ice coffee that was created for us on the spot. Afterwards we enjoyed lots of other goodies, with the sun on our faces. It was perfect, thank you! We will be back soon 🌞

We picked up pizza here with antipasti for 2, it was delicious! Generous quantity, tasty pizza base and well topped. The atmosphere inside and outside is cozy Italian, the building is beautifully situated on the hill and the service was very hospitable even during pick-up. We would love to eat here again, highly recommended!

Voor de vegetarische pasta fungi moest ik denk ik zelf op zoek naar paddestoelen in het bos 🤔, want die waren spoorloos in het gerecht. Nadat ik dit aangegeven heb werd er toch een bakje paddestoelen gebracht gelukkig . Voor mij als vrouw was de portie matig . Voor een man te weinig . Gelukkig hadden de anderen pizza besteld en die vielen in de smaak .

Wat een feest 🎉 . Pop up restaurant Pizza di Valentino aan de rijksweg (199a) in Plasmolen is meer dan de moeite waard. Wat een enthousiasme en wat een leuke zaak, gezellig (tijdelijk) ingericht met gevoel voor sfeer. Dinsdag is steaknight en wat hebben we genoten, beste steak van 2024 sofar. Prijzen helemaal OK, kwaliteit GEWELDIG. Verwen jezelf en ga hier heerlijk lunch of diner doen, lekker ongedwongen en 100% de moeite waard.

Na jaren gesloten te zijn, is Villa Grano weer geopend met een nieuwe eigenaar. We keken er enorm naar uit. We hadden 2 weken van te voren gereserveerd. Eenmaal aangekomen konden we een plaatsje uitzoeken. We kozen een plekje binnen aangezien het weer niet al te goed was. Er hing een enorme bleek lucht, wat wij allemaal enorm vervelend vonden. De kaart is redelijk beperkt, omdat ze nog aan het verbouwen zijn, er stonden denk ik zo’n 6/7 pizza’s op en 1 pasta. Na 3 kwartier gewacht te hebben tot onze bestelling op genomen zou worden, kwam (ik vermoed de eigenaresse) er iemand aan om “een slecht nieuws bericht te brengen”. Ze waren door de pizza bollen heen. Maar, ze konden echt alles maken, want er was een goede kok aanwezig. “Noem maar iets op, we maken het” prima, zou je zeggen. Tot dat alle opties die we opnoemden niet mogelijk waren. De vrouw zei zelfs “we kunnen alle pastas maken, behalve dan wat je wilt. Maar ja pizza kun je ook overal eten” wat we gek vonden, aangezien pizza vrijwel het enige is wat je serveert, en dat was ook het gene waarvoor we dus kwamen. Ook vertelde ze dat dit niet de eerste keer was dat dit ze was overkomen. We besloten om niet te blijven zitten, omdat dit niet de avond was die we in gedachte hadden. Wel netjes dat we de drankjes die we genuttigd hadden van het huis kregen. Maar helaas geen goede eerste indruk. Geen Villa Grano voor ons meer…

First impression was very poor. About all the supplies were gone and we had to wait at least 90 minutes for the starter. Very unfortunate. After the starter we went to the Malle Jan in Plasmolen. The service here was great by the way. This was highly recommended

I have rarely eaten such excellent food. The carpaccio was paper thin with excellent ingredients. The same goes for the pasta of the day. Simply recommended. Enjoy it.

First she forgot to serve us because we had not made a reservation (then say sorry, it is not possible) Pizza was half burnt because she did not fully know the pizza oven. And when paying they asked for a tip... We didn't think it was very nice, so we certainly didn't give it.

Dit restaurant stond jaren leeg maar er zijn nu nieuwe eigenaren die het aan het verbouwen zijn. Tot de verbouwing klaar is hebben ze een pop-up restaurant op het dakterras. Dat is erg smaakvol en sfeervol ingericht. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. De pizza was heerlijk. De bodem had van mij iets dunner gemogen maar als dochter van een Italiaanse pizzabakker ben ik ook een beetje te kritisch misschien. Ben benieuwd hoe alles straks is als het af is. Voor nu zeker een aanrader.

During the renovation, an indoor and outdoor area will be open as a restaurant. It's quite atmospheric. The food was tasty (very small menu) but having to wait more than 40 minutes for your food in a half-full restaurant is far too long for us. We weren't the only ones who thought it took way too long. Staff spent much of the time chatting with acquaintances. Not to be repeated.

Now closed, it seems. Wouldn't surprise us...

It was certainly good, even if you are a vegetarian you can go here, I personally recommend the pizza or pasta.

One of the tastiest pizzas ever eaten at Grano last week. The fried pineapple for dessert is also highly recommended! Delicious drinks, top food, chill place and very nicely decorated, both inside and outside on the terrace, very atmospheric.

What a beautiful place, and what delicious food! It is almost impossible to make a choice between a delicious pizza, with a wafer-thin base, crispy edge and perfect toppings... or a pasta that is so tasty and richly filled that it makes you feel like you are sitting on a Tuscan terrace somewhere. . About the deserts... pavlova and tiramisu are really great, as is the service! I will definitely come back someday.

Delicious Italian food with good service!

I'll start off by saying that I have travelled far and eaten many pizzas. So have my wife and children. In conclusion we all decided that the pizzas were the best pizzas we have EVER had. To be clear this is not an exaggeration. I have certainly never had a nicer pizza, it was outstanding, simply outstanding. Otherwise what a beautiful restaurant - it sits on a nice little hill and is light, airy and very classy inside but very relaxed with very kind and helpful waiting staff. We arrived 10 minutes before opening because our poor children had not eaten pizza in like two weeks or something while we came to the area on holiday and there was a certain sense of desperation. The waitress arrived shortly afterwards with a smile on her face and invited us straight inside which was nice. Inside you can see the chef preparing and cooking all the food from fresh. I have literally nothing negative to say about our experience today. We might come all the way back here from the UK just to visit this restaurant - it's only 700km or so. Thanks to the people there for such a memorable experience and caring about your customers so well.

Very nice restaurant. The ingredients were clearly fresh! This is possible due to the small creative menu. At this restaurant you do not have standard salami pizza or spaghetti. You can choose from more than ten main courses, mainly combinations that you don't often see. The location is also very cozy and has a beautiful open kitchen. The employees can come by more often, for example for drinks. My pizza also had a lot of cheese, but this was resolved quickly. If you like Italian food, definitely worth a visit!

The food was disappointing. I even got a lawyer from Grano on the phone with a request to remove the reference. Owner Piet Noordam also wanted to pay half back if I removed this reference. Not so. Don't go there. There are better restaurants with better prices. Happy Italy in Arnhem, among others.

Nice restaurant with lots of freshly made products. Been about 6 times. Quality varies, today a failed dessert (Pavlova). Not handled professionally by the staff. They also knew that the Pavlova was not good, but served it anyway. No more Grano for a while

Ate at Grano again on Tuesday after a long time. We ordered a pasta funghi (recommended!) and a pizza margherita. Unfortunately something went wrong in the kitchen so we had to wait a little longer. After two chefs were called, the food was served quite quickly. In the end, the pasta was delicious and the pizza was a bit disappointing (probably due to time constraints, not enough attention was paid to it). We didn't think the waiting was a problem, but we certainly didn't think the gossiping by the staff with guests about staff was acceptable! This bothered us more than the long waiting time.

Concept sharing dinner is fun, but that's all. Far too little attention/respect for other wishes such as not wanting to eat raw products due to pregnancy. Staff are also rarely available to order drinks and then not always actually served.

Had dinner here with family last Saturday. Went for the "sharing" menu with 6 people. Absolutely no regrets. We enjoyed it from the starter (Italian plank) to the main courses & the sweet desserts. Pleasant atmosphere, beautiful interior and friendly & pleasant staff. I will definitely come back someday. Until then!!
