Nice food, been there many times. Prices for desserts have gone up a lot.

Outside terrace already in Christmas spirit. Also nicely decorated inside. Delicious game ragout pie, carpaccio, satay and Liège waffle. It was all delicious again. Friendly service, all attention was paid to me as a guest, so we had a perfect evening. See you soon.

It was pleasantly busy. The hostess oversees everything and has an eye for detail, attentive to our gluten-free person. We enjoyed such delicious dishes. The angus beef was excellent, the scampi superb and the salmon also great. In short; had a wonderfully pleasant evening. Definitely worth repeating!!

Delicious food again. We come here regularly. The carpaccio starter, the Gordon blue specially made by the local butcher, is my favorite with the Liège waffle for dessert. Friendly staff, nice casual atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to winter when I hope the fireplace will be lit again.

'Save the Koeskeshuus' I would say 🙈 Preliminary; they will have the best intentions and problems finding a good and affordable chef and staff are an excuse. For which everyone understands. Although the young man serving was really neat and friendly. Even when we discreetly told him that it was not good. Good guy! It's a shame that this once famous restaurant is becoming so distracting in its twilight years. It has been for sale for a while and the current owner is apparently struggling. But... then you can still find and recreate a recipe for an authentic onion soup instead of saltless broth with a bit of onion in it. Stroganow sauce?? It's even tastier from KNOR! A cordon bleu; a tiny little thing from the Hanos from the pre-package? You don't have to! It was all very unimaginative... Tutoring for the 'cook' is an emergency. 1 starter, 2 main and 4 whites... coffee but made at home. €101 was really a waste of money.

Had to wait an hour without anything to place the order. Then a tiny bowl of fries for 4 people. Order a bowl at.....6 euros on the bill....... This is of course not possible. Water 4.50.

Very hospitable and friendly hostess. It was very busy - not a seat was empty - and yet she saw everything and took her time. Delicious salmon salad starter was just like at home and the main course and dessert were also delicious and presented with care. No modern fancy decor, but just the right atmosphere as this beautiful building should be. Definitely worth repeating!

Had a bad experience as a customer just now. Owner doesn't know how to deal with her customers at all. Never experienced that before. We saw that they have been around for 45 years, but we couldn't understand it after our experience there.

What a shame to review a restaurant on one of the busiest days of the year after a completely unexpected power outage in almost the entire restaurant at around 8 p.m. I read the reviews below with polite horror. Admittedly it suddenly took a very long time and some orders were incomplete. Not strange, right...? A full shop and only an oven that works, no gas, no grill, nothing more!!!! Schnitzel approx. 21.50 Pork tenderloin approx. €19.50 and the most expensive dish a generously sized super Tournedos for €32.50, all with fries, sauces of your choice, baked potatoes, a bowl of fresh vegetables and a fresh salad. If you think these prices are exorbitant, then seek refuge in the deep fryer on the next holiday and just stay at home the next holiday. Another thing,... we were also guests that evening and our main course could no longer be served due to the malfunction. Very bad,... a case of force majeure!!!! However? We called another restaurant on the spot to end our evening with a main course. By the way, a day later everything worked again and the place was completely full. You guessed it... no complaints. Just good food again as usual!!!

Very disappointing Valentine's Day dinner. Had to wait a very long time between courses, service showed little interest and drinks only came upon specific request. Twice we sat romantically for an hour over (not entirely) empty plates. Food of mediocre quality, not really enjoyable. There appeared to be a power outage, which was not reported. Very unfortunate for them, but communication is a profession, especially on such an evening. Dessert was no longer available, the bill was incorrect, and debit card payment was also not possible. An excuse for the power outage was just barely possible. Efficient: the expensive bill arrives in the mail early in the morning the next day. Special occasion? Not there!

We had received a social deal voucher for a 10 euro discount per person, so we were in good spirits and looking forward to going to the water mill for a delicious meal in Koeskeshuus, the reception was excellent, we immediately ordered a drink and looked at the menu, I thought it was still quite expensive, but hey, we are there anyway, it took a while until they came to ask if we wanted a sandwich, yes it went quite smoothly, the drink was now finished and it took a long time until they came to ask for another drink, but the starter still took a while, finally 45 minutes after the starter arrived , nothing wrong with that, after a while we removed plates and now to the main course, after another 40 minute wait the owner came with part of our main course, each a tournados for 32 euros, and she said we have problems with the power and We had to wait a bit for the sauces, we all got a few fried potatoes, chicory and salad, but the extra mushrooms and sauce we ordered did not arrive, and the steak was not too hot and small in size, so we started eating it. no one came to bring the sauces and champions and you didn't see anyone anymore, shameful to treat your customers like that, walked to the cash register and the waiter gave the wrong bill to people standing behind us and they weren't happy either because they had experienced the same thing, explained how or what but no excuse from their side, had to pay full price with a 3.50 discount for the sauces, never again at this unfriendly restaurant with their extortionate prices, eat for 110 euros and be treated like that.

We had a voucher through Social Deal, pay 10 euros and eat for 20 euros. Nice 3 course menu with all kinds of dishes to choose from. Tasty things that even my daughter would like. You could even make a reservation for Boxing Day. Sure, we do it with our wallet. When you get there you are first rudely referred to the gadarobe, when you return you are referred to your table by a polite waiter. Then it is said that 60 euros will be taken from the entire bill, but only a Christmas menu is available. If you indicate to the boss that this could have been mentioned on social deal, the response is indifferent, and an apology was not possible. On the menu, a starter started at 7 euros, main courses from 20 euros and desserts also expensive. Apparently our comment was not appreciated either, because later the baguette and mayo were thrown on the table, as well as the bill (which simply stated the normal amount). The food was delicious, so a big compliment to the chef. The guys in the service were also extremely customer friendly. But of course the atmosphere was ruined by 1 person, and there was nothing on the Christmas menu that my daughter really liked... and the prices were really Christmas prices without warning (otherwise you take that into account and don't come to a restaurant at Christmas that you don't know). Not a pleasant experience, and we were gone within an hour. Even when we squeezed out a decent "have a nice evening"...we got no response and the hostess just walked away. Once but never again. The food is good, but as a customer you also want to feel understood, welcome and appreciated!

Went back to this restaurant where we had our wedding party more than 27 years ago. Not much has changed and that also applies to the kitchen. Still great. Delicious food in a very cozy atmosphere. They will also soon start a 3-course menu. Good initiative! Recommended.
