GREEN gastrobar in Zuidas

Our timing was perhaps impeccable, thus we had the place to ourselves. First, the view—unparalleled in Amsterdam. Service was timely, attentive, and unobtrusive. Food was beautifully presented, imaginative, and yummy. My fave, the garlic roasted carrot sliced unimaginably thin on a bed of pearl barley with a miso carrot purée/soup. Will be back as soon as possible. :-)

When you take the elevator up the 26th floor, you are blown away by a great view. The staff were super friendly and explained every dish that was served. However the food itself was a bit underwhelming, okay is the best way to describe it, nothing stood out in terms of taste, presentation wise it looked amazing, but as soon as you taste it you could tell the taste was bland and it lacked any flavour. The saving grace was the desert, which was good. If you’re looking for a place with food that can give you culinary orgasm I would not recommend this restaurant.

Nice restaurant with a great view. Above and below the restaurant is a large interior shop. Dishes were fine, less green than we thought. Especially the atmosphere with the view is cool! And also take a look at all the furniture above, you will be amazed 😉

Super good food...impressive views

Once in a lifetime experience! The restaurant did NOT open the door! They did NOT pick up the phone (4 times) when we were desperately trying to reach them. You may wonder how can this happen! The entry to the restaurant is through a shop, and there should be someone present at the shop to welcome you. There was no one! I had guests visiting from outside of Holland, and I wanted to give them a different experience! Well, that sure happened! We will never forget the time that we were stood up in a chilly Amsterdam evening outside of a restaurant. This happened on a Saturday evening. In the past 6 days, no one has called me back, seeing the unanswered calls. I went to the restaurant to tell them what has happened and asked my money back, because you need to pay 25 euros per person to even make a reservation. They said they would pay it back, that was 2 days ago, and they still did NOT pay it. I waited 6 days to write this review, to give them a chance to apologize. Finally when none of that happened I decided to write about it. As I write this review, I realize how mind bogglingly incompetent the restaurant management is.. I am still in disbelief !

Beautyfull location and views, very good service and excellent food

The view is fantastic on the 26th floor. The atmosphere is of a modern furniture store, which is what it actually is. We took the 5-course menu for €85. pp. My partner didn't want duck and could instead choose between salmon and wild prawn as a substitute. The dishes looked beautiful, but the taste was absolutely disappointing. The asparagus was raw (it looked like the skin was on), the salmon came with the trimmings and sauce from the duck! Chocolate and gravy. The cook apparently had no interest in 'difficult' guests. Fortunately the staff was friendly. We left disappointed. This place deserves better!

Had a 10 dish dinner (7 courses) at TwentySix on Thursday evening. We were served by Gregor, among others. Fantastic experience. Beautiful view, service with humor, delicious wines with the dishes and what a beautiful penthouse 1 floor higher. It's not cheap, but the food was beautifully served and the taste in combination with the wines was delicious.

What a nice place! The location on the 26th floor, with a view over Amsterdam, is truly unique. The food was exceptionally tasty and prepared with care. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive – just right. Highly recommended for a business, unique and relaxed, tasty lunch.

My second visit here and both times have been nothing short of perfect. This time we were a party of four and had the 10 course set menu. Every single dish was superb, the ambiance wonderful and the service first class.

Is it crazy or exclusive? Enter as if in a secret surprise. Via the beautiful home furnishings store, take the elevator to the 26th floor and then enter a large living room with an amazing view of Amsterdam through the large windows on 2 sides of this corner building. Special for our group, there were no other customers that evening, just after New Year's, making it an exclusive experience. Very Fine dining, beautiful and tasty dishes, delicious wines, fantastic views and great hospitality by our hostess and host. Green is transforming into Twentysix, I'm looking forward to it!

Dining with the stars! that was fully realized. Delicious food in attractive surroundings and we were served like 'stars'. We would love to come back for the view, tasty dishes and relaxed atmosphere. Because of the fog there were no stars ;-))

The winner among the few winners! What a gem! The food, the layout and combination of flavors are overwhelming: perfect portion size and the friandises are happy to leave the angel on your tongue... We haven't yet talked about the interior and the unique 'view' - sublime (even on a foggy day!) We will come again and again!

It took some time to find the entrance to the restaurant via the flagship Molteni&C store in the "The Valley" building. However, once you arrive on the 26th floor, you start enjoying this beautiful restaurant with a great view over the whole of Amsterdam, super nice staff, good wines and beautiful and very tasty, delicious food. The vegetarian and vegan dishes look really great and are very tasty. These beautiful dishes are accompanied by suitable (bubbles and) wines. We finally found a beautifully decorated, high-end restaurant that prioritizes vegan and vegetarian food on its menu. I will come back soon to taste the meat and fish dishes also available. A great addition to the other catering establishments in "The Valley". In my opinion, highly recommended!

Original and innovative dishes, very delicious food, professional and friendly service. Designer restaurant on the roof-top of the building (also very innovative in design) with views of the Amsterdam skyline. My score is not very high despite all that because I did not think that the quality of the dishes was up to par with prices that seemed unjustifiably disproportionate to me.

Welcoming reception in a unique location with a great view. Peter Lute knows how to surprise every time with tasty dishes. What is striking is that you have never tasted/experienced these flavor combinations before! Well worth a visit. One point of attention are the chairs, which are not really comfortable.

Delicious food, beautiful flavors that develop in the mouth. The portions are very small, especially if you keep it vegetarian. The view is phenomenal, but the interior is somewhat sterile. Service is excellent and very friendly. Highly priced.

Limited menu, but sufficient. Vegetarian menu was fine. Location is special: entrance is through a furniture store. Only downside: very noisy. If not because of the loud music, then because of the noise from the other tables. All walls are "hard" and reflect sound. Tip: install panels for sound insulation.

Very tasty food and drinks at a unique location. Super friendly people. We enjoyed every course of the summer menu. Beautiful, fresh flavors (coconut, wasabi) in a starter alternated with rich, full flavors in the main course (cheese, leek, truffle). Definitely recommended.

The view is included and is not to be missed as a dessert or appetizer. The entrance to the restaurant feels a bit like an exciting movie; via a furniture store you are led through a corridor to an elevator (not my form of 'atmosphere and experience'). The elevator offers no other option than "floor 26". If you press that button, you will have a very nice evening. Friendly welcome, reasonable seats, delicious food. Delicious and congratulations for this approach: the starting point is a * vegetarian menu * with the option to expand / adapt with meat or fish. @Google: This should be a separate section where you can indicate whether attention is paid to vegetarian wishes. Then it would say here: Vegetarian options:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There should also be a separate section for chairs; often too low and not comfortable. My 3 stars for atmosphere is because I don't like this businesslike cool appearance. Must be chic and modern, but I don't like it. We came here with a colleague for a bite to eat during lunch, but it's a pity we didn't have more time. These people have a passion for their profession and due to a lack of time we were only able to enjoy this to a limited extent. The dishes were overwhelmingly delicious, the hospitality was noticeable from the first moment and the atmosphere is fantastic, let alone the view of Amsterdam from 26 floors. We will definitely come back here, with a little more time to enjoy the culinary delights!

Sophisticated, exciting flavor combinations with an incredibly beautiful presentation and environment = ultimate pleasure. Now only knife rests, or a bowl on the table for the cutlery you keep.

What a unique location. Enjoyed and always fascinated by the view. The food is really at Michelin star level, what delicious and surprising combinations, a great journey of enjoyment. Relaxed service, present at the right times. Lots of space between the tables; you are really a guest here Price level is on the high side, but you certainly get a lot in return.

I celebrated my birthday at Green with my family and it was an absolutely successful evening. The food was extremely delicious. You really won't miss meat & fish, and we are not vegetarians. The view is spectacular. Last but not least, Green's team gave us a memorable evening. Cheers!

Saw this amazing set of buildings from a train. Googled them and discovered there was a restaurant at the top of one of the buildings with a view across Amsterdam. I found the booking process very easy online. It was simple to record my dietary requirements. We were not prepared for how fantastic the whole experience would be. From the moment we walked into the building, we were greeted in a friendly and helpful way. The service from the start to finish was top notch! And the food, heavenly. We had the set lunch menu and our tastebuds were in heaven from the first bite. I think the chef must love his work as it transferred to the food we ate. The decor was sumptuous and tasteful. The view was fantastic. Do yourself, and your tastebuds a favour and check this restaurant out. The price was around €130 and included the set menu and several drinks. PS: My gluten free dietary requirements were met with minimal changes to the menu.

What an experience! A place worth going once with friends or a partner. Located in the financial area of ​​Amsterdam and the restaurant is in one of the most original buildings. In addition to being able to enjoy a good dinner, you can see the latest collections of furniture for the entire house in a spectacular show room. Fantastic service, very good food, variety of wine and cocktails although the prices are high but this type of restaurant is normal here in Amsterdam. Describing it here is not enough, it is totally recommended to go and live or experience it.

Gastrobar Green continues to surprise me. Wonderfully casual, service is always just right and a wonderful place for a working lunch where you can keep your mind off things. A delicious filter coffee would complete it.

Fantastic place, great flavors, delicious wine. The interior is very homely and cozy. We had made a reservation and were the only ones that evening. Respect for letting it go ahead and letting us enjoy it in peace. Highly recommended, it shouldn't be so quiet here anymore. ;-)

It is wonderful to have such a high end vegetarian experience (they also have seafood and meat options if desired). The food was artfully arranged with an interesting and creative combination of flavors making it a feast for both the eyes and stomach. Portion size was perfect for a tasting menu. As a side note I must say I was very impressed with the ability of the staff to describe the ingredients in English. Of course we are spoiled that everyone here has a basic command of English, but it is something else to be able to explain all the ingredients and preparations for so many small but complex dishes. Thank you!

A wonderful evening, beautiful ambiance, excellent dishes and great service! And parking under the building is also very nice.

We had something to celebrate and therefore went to Green for dinner with 20 friends/family members. We had already communicated the dietary requirements of a number of people in advance and these were duly taken into account. We ate the Green Table menu and it was phenomenal! Great flavor combinations, beautifully prepared and presented. Tasty wines and delicious bread were also served. The view over Amsterdam is fantastic and the atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed and cozy. The service is also very professional and nice. Upon entering you are immediately welcomed on the ground floor and guided to the elevator and on the 26th floor they ensured that everything went perfectly. This was the 3rd time we ate at Green and we can certainly recommend this restaurant, both for a dinner for a smaller group and for a somewhat larger group. Special and wonderful in every way!

At the top of one of the most beautiful buildings in Amsterdam on the 26th floor, where you go for the view in addition to the food and company. We didn't make it with dense fog. But of course the restaurant can't do anything about that. Delicious vegetarian food, which predominates here. Informal service. Unfortunately, only 3 tables were occupied at the peak, which did not contribute to the atmosphere. This place deserves more business. We will definitely come back, also to admire the view.

Very unusual place for Amsterdam. Service was excellent. Worth a visit. The food was certainly ‘okay’ but was very very subtle in flavours and I wasn’t a great fan. This is probably personal taste. Please don’t let me put you off…

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijke bediening. Het is een keer wat anders. Alles top geregeld en tot in de puntjes verzorgd.

Wat een geweldig eten! Echt weergaloos lekker vegetarisch menu gegeten. Eet zelf ook vlees of vis, maar met deze smaken is vegetarisch heerlijk! Enige tip die ik zou hebben: toen wij er waren was het niet zo druk, maar als het wel druk is dan staan de tafels voor 2 aan de lange zijde wat te dicht op elkaar. Daarom daar een sterretje minder, maar voor de rest een ontzettende aanrader! Een Michelin ster waardig wat mij betreft!!

Heerlijk vegetarisch gegeten in een bijzondere omgeving met prachtig uitzicht. Met zulk goed eten heb je absoluut geen vlees nodig. We hebben hier een hele fijne avond gehad, ook door de vriendelijke en kundige bediening!

We hebben heerlijk gegeten bij Green. Het menu is vegetarisch al is er ook een additionele vlees optie. Wij kozen voor de vegetarische en hebben erg genoten van de verschillende en originele smaken. Er was een hele fijne, ongedwongen sfeer. Hier (gelukkig) geen luide muziek, maar wel persoonlijke aandacht door de prettige en professionele bediening. Het wijnarrangement was een mooie aanvulling. Doordat we rond 19u daar waren hebben we zowel met overdag als in de nacht het uitzicht over de stad kunnen bewonderen.

Hier geweest voor een lunch met 2. Samen om een klein beetje iets te vieren. Wat hebben we een geweldige middag gehad! Fijne ambiance, gemoedelijk, alles straalt rust uit, maar heeft ook iets sprankelends. ‘Komt ongetwijfeld ook door het uitzicht. Geweldig!! En dan het eten: alle gerechten van het green lunch menu zoooooo lekker en mooi en goed in balans. Gekozen voor bijpassende wijnmenu: goede keuze! Er werden echt serieus goed passende wijnen geschonken. En op gepaste manier bij verteld. Dat vind ik fijn: geen opsmuk, maar duidelijk wat vertellen over de wijn zelf en toch beetje met passie waarom die wijn zo goed met gerecht gaat. Perfect to the point. Al met al genoten van heerlijke gerechten en zalige wijnen. Dessert was… tja wat zal ik zeggen; lekkerste combinatie ‘ever’! Zoooooo goed! En hele fijne, vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Top ervaring. En oh ja…. Dat uitzicht ;)

Helemaal fantastisch! Enorm fijne middag gehad met mijn vader. Op de 26ste verdieping van de Valley is Green gesitueerd; prachtig uitzicht over de hele stad. Er hangt een rustige, warme sfeer. Het eten was ook super. Wij hadden het vega(n) tasting menu en verbaasden ons telkens weer hoe veel je met groentes kan. Elk gerecht was goed. Daarbij was de bediening erg kundig en nam ze goed de tijd voor ons om elk gerecht toe te lichten. Enorme aanrader!

Top ervaring, 5 gangen met voortreffelijke vegetarische gerechten en mooie wijnen, elke gang was verrassend en overtrof onze verwachtingen. Mooie locatie op de 26e verdieping met uitzicht over Amsterdam. Bediening was ook bijzonder prettig en goed.
