Good food and mediterrane ingredients... kind of lebanese kitchen! Great different tastes of cold and warm dishes 👍

The servers were super friendly and attentive and the food came out pretty quickly even on a busy Friday evening. The space is a little small but it's no issue if you reserve in advance. The food itself was very good and most of the dishes were packed with flavor. We especially loved the psychedelic cauliflower and smoked aubergine which were both recommended to us by our waitress (and we could see why). However, the mushroom calamari were just ok; we expected more mushroom and less batter (i.e. the ratio was off and we could barely distinguish the mushroom part). The date and walnut filo dough dessert was a satisfying way to end the quite savory meal, but once again was nothing special.

- Service: The servers were very friendly, although initially very slow to take our order. The food came out relatively quickly. - Food: Veggie calamari was quite tasteless and disappointing. Lamb special was pretty good and the kebab was alright. Solid menu if you are vegetarian, less so if you are a meat lover. - Pricing: The portions are way too small to justify the price - 19€ for what are essentially three meatballs (in the case of the kebab). This price to quantity ratio would only make sense if the quality of the food was better. - Ambience: Generally cute inside

This place is really amazing, a place where you can have a taste of fusion and Israeli food. The restaurant is small but cosy which makes it the perfect place to have a date. Many vegetarian options. I recommended ordering 4 dishes and share.

What an amazing culinary experience ! I am almost glad our train was cancelled mast minute and we had to stay one more evening ! The dishes were delicious, the staff friendly and accomodating ! We came on recommendation from a local friend and que was right ! Definitely booking a table again as soon as I am back in Amsterdam !

It was meh food. Also so they make kebab with cinnamon, which helped me understand how italians feel when you split the spaghetti in half.

If you like Israeli cuisine, you are in the right place. Mana Mana represents this cuisine successfully. It's not a big restaurant. Maximum 25-30 people can eat at the same time. Decor and ambience is poor. It may not be a good choice for a romantic dinner. However, if you want to eat good food, drink and chat with friends, you can go without hesitation. Although the drink option list is not very rich, all the basic drinks are available. It is even possible to find 1-2 Israeli beers. For the meal, you have to pay 28 euros per person and choose 2 plates from a list of approximately 20 dishes. Afterwards, you have to pay 12 euros for each additional plate you want. We were 3 people and we wanted hummus, falafel, sabich, kebab and lamb. They were all very good, but especially the sabich and kebab were a little better than the others. As someone who has eaten at the legendary Sabich Frishman in Tel Aviv, I can say that Mana Mana's sabich is by far the better. The presentation of the plates was also very nice. We liked what we ate so much that we asked for a lot of additions. We ate kunefe for dessert. It could have been perfect if the cheese had been a little less salty and a little more melted, but the taste was still well above average. The service wasn't outstanding, but I'd be lying if I said we didn't appreciate the waitress rushing around on her own to get to everyone on a Friday night when the restaurant was completely full. We paid 180 euros for a dinner for 3 people, including drinks. If we come to Amsterdam again, Mana Mana is a restaurant I would like to come back to again.

My recent visit to Mana Mana Centrum was quite an experience. The service was very friendly, and I was greeted with a warm welcome. As for the vibe, it was a bit too laid back for my taste. I found myself seated too close to the coat rack, which made me feel like I was drowning in a sea of coats. However, the food more than made up for it. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the lamb special and the lamb kabab. The lamb was cooked to perfection, a juicy and flavorful delight. The kabab was a true explosion of flavors in my mouth, an absolute must-try. The hummus was also exceptional, with the sauces adding a delightful depth of flavor to the dish. In my final comment, I would highly recommend a visit to Mana Mana Centrum if you're looking for a comfy night out and unforgettable food. Don't miss the lamb dishes; they are the stars of the menu and will leave your taste buds thoroughly satisfied.

Fantastic authentic Israeli streetfood. Having lived in Israel for a few years, I can say this place is just as good as what I would get back in Tel Aviv. Would def come back here again!

Non è un locale "travestito" da Medio Oriente, atmosfera locale, musica "normale". Personale super gentile. Si mangiano piatti di mezzeh spettacolari con melanzane, cavolfiore, hummus ecc. Non saprei dire quale fosse il più buono. I dolci sono da urlo. Il prezzo è in linea con la città. Bravi!

Super lekker. We hebben erg genoten. Mensen en vooral ook de kok zijn super aardig.. Een zijstraat met een boom en speeltuin tegenover voelt het vrij relaxed in de drukke stad.

Per rec of the locals on facebook, we had to stop here for dinner. Falafel, hummus, babaganoosh (sp?), mujadara, and their infamous psychedelic cauliflower later, we were filled with goodness. Great hummus, light and creamy, and stellar pita. Everything else was great too. Imo, psychedelic cauliflower was a little too homogenous for me, and could have used a crunchy texture or a savory flavor to compliment the soft texture and sweetness.

Great food (get the cauliflower it’s so good). The waitress was a super friendly Nigerian girl (didn’t get her name but she was lovely). Great ambiance. In short come here.

Restaurante muy recomendable en el centro de Amsterdam. Ponen mucho detalle a la presentación de los platos y el servicio es excelente. Sirven cenas hasta bastante tarde y esta en el centro de Amsterdam, pero no en una calle muy concurrida, lo cual es agradable. Tienen cocina de fusión de distintos países del este de europa, y todo estaba muy rico.

I’m not quite used to vegetarian meals but they are pretty convincing! They serve amazing food. We loved each meal we ordered that night. And as a non vegetarian I was very satisfied with what I had. I do recommend the psychedelic cauliflower and the humus !

Great flavours but very small portions and expensive. We really appreciated the flavours in our dishes but for 15/16€ you get very small portions of food. Plus we didn’t receive our food at the same time and couldn’t eat together.

A party for your tastebuds. This food is so delicious that this ManaMana has become a must-visit every time we visit Amsterdam. Food is served/plated in a unique way, and it taste even better than it looks. Ideal for sharing, but perhaps even better to eat it all by yourself!

It was disappointing to visit this place for dinner. I’m flabbergasted how they have this great rating where as food is absolutely mediocre. Portion size is quite small and apetizers are being served as main dish. Service is quick and location is nice however food didn’t cut it for me. They have lots of option for vegetarian so if you want to eat Mediterranean cuisine ( read snacks) and can’t find anywhere else, can go but I wouldn’t recommend.

Delicious . But too much garlic spiced food

Loyal followers of my reviews already know about my delightful visits to Mana Mana De Pijp and West, but now chatter on the street has it that there is another one?? And the best thing: it’s right next to my favourite silent disco! Usually before partying in the silent disco I am left with the the ignoble food options that the Leidseplein area offers and the choice usually ends up being between a suspicious Argentinian steak house or devouring some McDonalds surrounded by disrespectful pigeons :/ ..however my prayers have been answered and FINALLY - this winter class and taste has been brought to the centre of amsterdam. After a long day or before a long night of exploring the city, THIS is the place to unwind with some heart-warming food brought to you by the most kind-hearted staff. Every time I’m there I feel welcomed…not just as a customer……….but as a friend <3. It is as if I have known them in a different life. I can try to further paint you a picture but I think you know it’s time to go pamper your taste buds and try for yourself and please - think of me when you do ;)

Very good food and the place is really nice. A bit overpriced.

Definitely recommendet! Found it by accident and were lucky to get a free table. The food is awesome (i suggest 2-3 plates per person, def. 3 for hungry ones). Little bit expensive but totally worth it.

Cosy little restaurant with tasty food. People working there are nice and helpful. Portions are a bit smaller than you might expect. They also need better chairs.

What a great little restaurant. And very friendly people serving. The Smoked aubergine and Shakshuka were delicious. The wines perfect and not too expensive. Definitely coming back!

I treated myself here (went alone) and it sure was worth it. Amazing service and enjoyed every bite of their shakshuka. Portions are on the small side, so if you're with 2 people I recommend sharing 3 dishes, but 1 was enough for me. Definitely recommend, but mind the prices.
