Trevi’s Amsterdam in Nieuwe Pijp

I stumbled upon it by chance while I was in Amsterdam, but I have to say it was a truly excellent experience. I have to compliment the owner; I recommend it to everyone.

Sadly cannot recommend this place. Half of the dishes on the menu were not available and they charge a euro extra for vegan parmesan which I feel like should just be included if you order a pasta dish. All of the dishes we had were lacking salt and I was quite disappointed with the bruschetta which consisted of mushy tomatoes. Additionally the staff forgot that we even ordered the bruschetta and one of our drinks too, and that also while there were only two other customers besides us. Otherwise the staff was friendly and it was a cute place, but like I said, I cannot recommend.

Trevi's Amsterdam is a very cozy and welcoming restaurant. I am looking forward to going there again and try out other delicious dishes! I definitely recommend going there for a peaceful but lovely moment!

We were badly suprised after all the positive reviews. The atmosphere isn‘t nice, pretty cramped and cheap. Service completely unattentive. Food ranking between OKish but far from being special and no taste at all with my guests pouring pepper over their plate so they could taste something. Such a disappointment, I wish we would have chosen another restaurant.

Really cute Italian place, had a few tables so I believe it needs reservations. It had a big variety of pizzas, we had the one with the truffle, it was really good. I would have preferred a bigger variety of pasta though, maybe some kind of carbonara that I can't really find anymore as a vegan. The woman there was really polite and helpful😊 Would recommend!!

We had the Patate & Rosmarino Focaccia and two pasta dishes which were all phenomenal!

I was on vacation with my family and since my mom is vegan we tried this place... what can I say! Delicious, very nice and very well-kept place, excellent service and delicious dishes, I recommend it to everyone, vegans and non-vegans.

Great that everything is vegan. Truffle ravioli and tiramisu were really tasty! Salami on pizza was good and pizza itself was alright. Chocolate & chunk ice cream was also alright but not very special so for similar price I would definitely get tiramisu. The portion size is not so big. After the pizza and ravioli we were still a bit hungry so would recommend ordering side dishes which looked quite good. No alcohol but good selection of soft drinks and non alcoholic beer and wine.

Very good, relaxed atmosphere, and super friendly staff. I recommend using Italian tomatoes, as I think they make tomato-based dishes much tastier and more authentic. They also have a truly delicious zero-alcohol prosecco!

We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant on our recent trip to Amsterdam. Unfortunately, we did not have the experience we were hoping for. After walking almost an hour to the restaurant we arrived and were asked if we had a reservation, which we did not have. Despite there being 3 open tables, they said the soonest they could accommodate us was in an hour and a half, we didn't want to wait that long so we asked if they could do takeout instead. We waited about 5-10 minutes to order and they said we could sit at one of the 3 open tables. A couple minutes after we ordered another couple came in and also asked if they could sit to eat, they said they didn't a reservation. This is when the woman behind the counter looks at me and has us move and says they can sit down to eat in the restaurant. Why there were allowed to and not us is beyond me, but it was incredibly rude and humiliating to happen in front of other people at the restaurant. A while later, we paid and then waited a bit longer and our food was ready. Only then did we find out that one of the items we ordered wasn't available to take-out. Why they let us order it, I will also never know. We went back to our hotel room to eat and unfortunately, much like the service, the food was also underwhelming. Needless to say, we would not recommend this restaurant or return.

The table was filthy and dirty. I reported it. It wasn't cleaned. He arrogantly dismissed it by saying it was very busy today. Not hospitable. Even the forks were dirty. While cleaning, he simply wiped everything off the table without paying attention. The taste was very disappointing. A waste of time. I'll never try it again. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either. It's wiser to consider one of the many other options in Amsterdam.

Best vegan pizza I've ever had, and the service was super nice and attentive too!!

The pasta sauces are amazing, especially the special Trevi sauce. We were on a date and they made us a little heart-shaped chocolate pizza. Will definitely visit again!

Came in without a reservation. We were 4 people and the place had only 2 other tables of 2 occupied. It’s was empty. They warned us there was no pizza available before we sat down and we decided that’s ok we could get other things from the menu. We proceeded to order some focaccia and pasta, they told there’s no focaccia. So we asked for bruschetta instead, they didn’t have that either. So we asked for the platter sharing of delicacies. Also no. They told us only salads or pasta at this point. So we got 4 pastas and a portion of potatoes and we asked for olives on one of the pastas which they said yes but when it came there was no olives (it was still on our bill at the end but we asked them to remove it) In the meantime both tables before us got pizzas. And a table that arrived after us got a focaccia. We asked and were told they only serve pasta to walk ins and pizza and the rest only with reservation) if that is the case this should be clearly advertised everywhere! ONLY PASTA FOR WALK INS. Sadly, a few moments after that my friends were smoking a cigarette outside and over heard 2 people looking at the menu and wondering if to eat there or not. They decided to eat there in the end after looking at the menu (doesn’t seem like a reservation to me) and surprise they got pizza. While we were there a max of 3 tables were occupied at a time. It was not full at any moment. The pastas were okey, the pesto was my favorite.

We came in without a reservation as a group of four. The place was nearly empty—only two other tables were occupied. Before seating us, staff let us know there was no pizza available, which we accepted, assuming we could order other dishes. Once seated, we tried to order focaccia—unavailable. Then bruschetta—also no. Then the sharing platter—still no. At that point, we were told only pasta and salads were available. We ordered four pastas, a side of potatoes, and asked for olives on one pasta. The olives never came, though they were on the bill (we had to ask for them to be removed). Meanwhile, both tables seated before us got pizzas. A table that arrived after us received focaccia. When we asked, staff told us walk-ins can only order pasta and salads—pizza and other items are for reservations only. If that’s the policy, it should be clearly posted: “ONLY PASTA FOR WALK-INS.” To make matters worse, while outside smoking, my friends overheard two people deciding whether to eat there. They didn’t seem to have a reservation, yet they were later served pizza. At no point was the restaurant even close to full—no more than three tables were ever occupied.

Fantastic pizza, really good vegan cheese too. It's plant-based but it definitely doesn't feel like you're restricting yourself, it's so tasty. And a good and friendly vibe. Thanks for having us, will be sure to come back when we're back in Amsterdam :)

I’m a little surprised at how high the ratings are! The food was good, especially the pizza, but nothing special. However, the service wasn’t great. While we were treated okay, we were largely neglected. I was never able to order a drink after the first pass, and the water was very hard to self-serve. And we witnessed how they treated several other customers. One customer waited 15 minutes to pay, while asking to pay twice throughout. They were “running out of food” / turning away customers hours before closing. I hope it was a one-off experience due to being understaffed or something, but we would’ve been better had we ordered takeaway.

The dishes here are truly exquisite! This is hands down the most delicious plant-based Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Every bite of the pasta was packed with flavor, and the pizza was perfectly crisp with a rich, satisfying taste that didn’t make me miss cheese at all. You can really feel the love and creativity in each dish. Highly recommended for both vegans and non-vegans who want to experience Italian cuisine at its best in Amsterdam 🇳🇱

Me and five other vegans dined at Trevi’s for our friend’s 60th birthday meal, and the food was incredible. Between us we ordered quite a large selection from the menu, and there wasn’t a single dish that any of us thought was less than perfect! I had the bruschetta, truffle ravioli and tiramisu and it was the best Italian meal I’ve had in more than ten years as a vegan. Very reasonably priced, too. The atmosphere was pleasant, and service efficient. My only complaint is the lack of alcohol!

If you go to Amsterdam, stop by, very good, I recommend the truffle ravioli, truly excellent.

We had a great time here, especially since one of our friends is vegan. Overall, the food was amazing, highly recommend the truffle ravioli! The desserts were nice. Too bad I found my macaroni pesto a bit salty, but I finished it anyway

we had such a lovely time. we had the polpette spaghetti and the mushroom ravioli and for dessert we had the tiramisu and grissini with cinnamon. our waitress was very sweet and it is a very cozy restaurant.

Trevi’s is the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to (and my favourite restaurant in general!). The staff are so lovely, the place is so cosy and the food is so fresh and delicious. My husband and I cannot get enough of this place! :)

Paradise for vegan people that love Italian food 😮‍💨🤩

As a vegan it's fantastic to find a new place where you can eat good Italian food. Usually I have to make do with the same marinara pizza or garlic spaghetti, but here I was able to eat a delicious ravioli with creamy truffle sauce and mushrooms. The parmesan 'cheese' was fantastic. Too bad that due to lack of permit, real wine cannot be served. The atmosphere was a little less, but that was mainly because other guests decided to have a video call in the small restaurant... why? Service was top notch. It turns out that they also do delivery, next time we will order from home!

What can I say? This is one of the best pizza I've ever had! The atmosphere is also amazing, it smells so perfect the moment you step inside. I'd suggest to book a table beforehand as it's a small place though.

The fact that this place currently has a 4.8 rating is surprising, to say the least. The simple decor and cheap furniture should have been my first clue to look elsewhere for my pasta fix. We ordered a pizza and a pasta to share, my partner requested the Parmesan cheese on the side. Despite the server confirming that the Parmesan would be served on the side, our pasta was completely covered in the stuff. I flagged the error and she acknowledged it immediately and took the plate away, however when she returned it was clear that they had very simply tried to mix the Parmesan crumbles into the dish to conceal the fact that they were still there. It’s fortunate that I am not allergic to cashews otherwise it would have been a medical issue waiting to happen. I find it fascinating that they would deem that to be an appropriate resolution to the issue. Anyways I did not eat more than two bites of the (overcooked) spaghetti and stuck with the pizza—it was fine, nothing outstanding but equally no issues. Understaffed establishment that overlooks many critical details that are key to providing a warm and hospitable dining experience. As much I love to support plant-based restaurants and have had some PHENOMENAL vegan pastas in my lifetime, I do not recommend this place—there are a plethora of other places to get average pasta in the city, and perhaps even some good ones too.

We had a really nice meal here. It's unusual to find a vegan Italian place so that was an extra bonus. Nice food and rapid service. Will return when we're next back in amsterdam

Pizza was great. Ober was kind. The tables are a bit small for my taste, but not too bad.

The food and service were both excellent. We visited multiple times during our one-week vacation because the food was so good. I especially enjoyed the Antipasti Tagliere Trevi’s dish and the Pasta Trevi’s.

This place is sooooooooo good, I can't recommend this place enough!! We've been to so many nice Italian restaurants and also many places in Italy but that this place still amazed me. We ordered their bruschetta, pesto pasta, pasta trevi's, mushrooms ravioli and tiramisu and all of them are amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Holy cow, this food is amazing!! May be one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at, certainly the best Italian food I've ever tasted. Only stayed at Amsterdam a few days and we came here twice it was that good! Pesto pasta, pesto pizza and mushroom ravioli were all absolutely incredible!

Again, another vegan restaurant that surprises me. I am not expecting their cheese to be cheesy, and their kruidenbotter to be creamy. Just another simple 5/5 from me. Plus, quite large pizza (or should i say, long). Homey feeling and vibes, nice service; hope more people (especially vegans) know of them - that way, they can expand their restaurant soon!

Food was really good, we all ordered pasta dishes, and we could swap short pasta for spaghetti’s. They were out of a few options, but we all enjoyed what we got. Pesto was a bit salty. Reservations are a must, I wouldn’t recommend going without one, it’s a really small place. We don’t drink, but just be aware they do not serve alcohol.

Very cute little Italian restaurant that focuses exclusively on vegan food! Due to its popularity, advance reservation is recommended. The food is freshly prepared and you can definitely taste it! There is no lack of friendliness and warmth among the staff. :) We were also pleasantly surprised by the large selection of different dishes and ate our way through the starters, main courses and desserts. Delicious!! :) Big heartfelt recommendation.

Every single dish was really well made. From the Focaccia, to the Ravioli and the Pizza, we enjoyed the vegan variations!

This is a vegan restaurant and we chose this place to have a light meal. It's a place with 7 tables in total and all the products we tried were delicious. If they didn't specifically state that they were vegan, it wouldn't be obvious that any of the products were vegan, and we recommend this place for delicious Italian delicacies.

We had 2 pizze and the mushroom ravioli. All dishes were very delicious. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere great. A nice and cosy place, just perfect. Plus, we also liked the music, from Italian classics to new Italian Disco. Highly recommendable!

A small, attractively decorated restaurant that only offers vegan dishes. There are only a few tables, so a reservation is definitely recommended. The food is very tasty, although our pasta dishes probably had a bit too much salt. The selection of Italian dishes is quite large and varied. The service is very friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable and probably average. Overall, a visit is very worthwhile, especially if you want to gain new culinary impressions far away from classic Italian cuisine.

AVOID!!! They said NO Pizza 🍕 without reservation, after it took us one hour to arrive here. Being here at 20:00, while they are closing at 22:00 is mind boggling how they cannot bake another set of 7 pizzas for 2 hours. And where they let the customers know they need a reservation to get pizza. Is this how are you promoting your business and veganism?!

A great vegan food restaurant! There are many valid options not including meat and even the ones with vegan meat are actually very good, unexpectedly of my non-vegan friend. Portions of pasta are good and reasonably priced, combinations are original and tasty. The two women working there are Italian (always a plus), kind and friendly, which was very nice! Also the atmosphere is pretty since it’s a rather small place and gives a cosy vibe!

Such a wonderful, off the beaten path amazing vegan Italian restaurant. My bf and I were obsessed with the pasta dishes we had there and the focaccia was amazing too! This is some of the best vegan pasta I’ve ever had. Our server was lovely and I loved the atmosphere too! Will definitely be back!
