This is a Korean restaurant I've visited many times; the food is delicious.

Me and my friend got Dakgalbi to share, and it was amazing! We’ve just stumbled upon this place so we didn't have any kind of expectations but it was spectacular! The cheese tastes great and the ddbokki was the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

The seafood soft tofu stew was so delicious that I practically buried my face in it while eating☺️ The soy sauce chicken tasted more like chicken tenders coated in a thin, sweet soy sauce rather than the Korean style, but it was still tasty!!

The foods were really good! Worth the money! I went there with friends and had such a good time in the cozy space of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

Visited on September 16th at 6:30 PM. We went without a reservation, but fortunately, three of us were able to be seated on the condition that we vacate a table by 7:30 PM. We ordered Yukgaejang, Kimchi Jjigae, and vegetarian Bibimbap; the Yukgaejang was the best. The Kimchi Jjigae lacked depth of flavor but was good to eat warm, while the Bibimbap was the least impressive. Water had to be purchased separately, and since there was a Korean male staff member, we were able to order in Korean. I was taken aback to see a prostitution establishment across from the restaurant, but there was a notice posted inside warning not to photograph "see workers." Although the seating inside the restaurant was very cramped, I was satisfied because the restroom was very clean.

The food is so good!! This my second time here and i know there will be a third and our waiter Tiffany is so sweet!! Would recommend !!

This was my first time eating Korean food, and it was amazing. We came back twice on a weekend trip.

The Korean food was delicious, and every dish was authentic. However, it was very crowded, so reservations were necessary, and you couldn't sit for long after eating! I'll definitely come back for another meal to relive the experience!

Best fried chicken in Amsterdam!

Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the food at all. The fried chicken was very greasy and consisted mainly of breading. The yukgaejang was completely tasteless. The soup smelled and tasted like old meat. The meat was very stringy and tough. There were no vegetables whatsoever. Only enoki mushrooms and scrambled eggs were available. The atmosphere was very loud. We had a table right by the entrance. It was almost exclusively Asian patrons. After we left, new guests (tourists) kept arriving, asking for a free table. Some were turned away, while others were given a table shortly afterward, even though no one had left. It seemed like the decisions about who got a table were completely arbitrary. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

The food was really good. Since Kim's offers the same standard and quality in all its branches, it tastes just as delicious here as anywhere else. However, this branch is extremely small and cramped. You sit very close to the neighboring tables, which makes the restaurant extremely noisy and creates a very cozy atmosphere. Anyone who wants a relaxed meal should visit one of the other Kim's branches. There you get the same good food, but with significantly more space and a more pleasant atmosphere.

As many restaurants in the center it can be a little cramped and hectic. Luckily they tried their best to make sure you got a table even with no reservation. I tried their cold noodles and bibimbap, where the star of the show was the cold noodles, especially the meat and is a must to try on a hot day. Their shaved milk, strawberry bingsu was also delicious and was both refreshing and great for sweet-tooths. A delicious and affordable Korean option with a good range of dishes and fun Korean soda options.

This Korean restaurant in Amsterdam’s city centre is incredibly popular so a reservation is a must. While the sides are a bit pricey as a Korean I find the taste almost authentic.

Went for lunch. The food is good but the Bibimbap was too heavy on the rice and too light on the meat and veg. Other than that though good meal.

We loved it. Small restaurant in the Chinese district. We ordered Jajang Bap, Fried Combo and Corn Dog. It is a pity that they charge 1€ for regular tap water. All for 40€. Service was correct

Excellent Korean restaurant, it reminds me of South Korea!

We ordered soy gralic fried chickens, cold noodles, seafood pancakes, and matcha bingsu. The fried chicken lacked a bit of flavor but the rest was tasty. However, in the bingsu, we found some plastic packaging cut and mixed in the bingsu. We were able to return it, but will not come back again.

We've been here three times now, and it was delicious again! We highly recommend the bulgogi and seafood ramyeon. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasty. Service was quick, despite the crowds, and very helpful. It's worth making a reservation, especially if you plan to visit in the evening. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Amsterdam.

Super Korean restaurant in the redquarter. Such an amazing surprise

Service was slow. They brought our rice way too late. We went there 4 people, ate soy&garlic chicken, gyoza and beef bulgogi to share. Chicken and beef bulgogi were i think really good. Also had plum soju. Portions of to share category (2-3 people the menu says) are really good and big. I dont think 2 people can easily finish beef bulgogi. We shared everything we had, so it was a good meal for us.

I was surprised to find an authentic korean restaurant right in middle of the red light district. The food was better than what i expected, the place is very tight and small, price is reasonable. Not a bad choice if u want korean food in ams city.

The food is very authentic, with plenty of variety, and everything we tried was good. The only downside is that the restaurant feels a little stuffy inside. You also have to order through a QR code, and the staff do not confirm your order before the food arrives. Other than that, it was a good experience.

The good: Staff is friendly. Seafood sun tofu is decent. The bad: Banchan only brought out after asking for them, and then were very basic - didn't even include kimchi. Dolsot bibimbap is barely passable. Cheap precut hotpot meat is used instead of a proper cut of beef. Missing spinach. Veggies taste like they were just blanched to save on labor vs properly fried. Preportioned gochujang instead of self-serve at table. Despite the name, they use a ttukbaegi instead of a proper dolsot, resulting in much worse rice and meat texture. In general, this place feels like it does the bare minimum to satisfy the undiscerning tourist crowd in this area in the cheapest way possible. Can't say I blame them, that's how they keep their profit margins healthy. But if you want good Korean food, this might not be the place for you. Very disappointing experience.

We ordered beef bibimbap. The amount of meat was no more than 50 grams. I've tried much better ones. Putting aside the amount of meat, the taste and flavor weren't bad.

This place is actually insane. The food came out crazy fast, every dish was packed with flavor, and the meat quality was top tier. The kimchi was fresh, the sides kept coming, and everything tasted authentic. Staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. The vibe was cozy but still lively. A decent spot for Korean food in Amsterdam, the seolleongtang broth was surprisingly good with a little creaminess and good flavour. The gimbap and beef dolsot bibimbap we ordered were just average but respectable overall. Our main critique was the lack of the standard Korean side dishes that are always served in Korean restaurants in Toronto. The sides given included just small potato strip and onion and pickled cucumbers, but there was no kimchi or japchae and bean sprout sides that are standard in every Korean restaurant we've been to up till now. Also, the dolsot bibimbap took a surprisingly long time to serve, while we understood the restaurant was busy at the time, this is as about as simple a dish to ready and prep as any. Serving portions and pricing were reasonable for this part of Centrum. The restaurant was also very busy during weekend dinner so make sure you make a reservation otherwise they'll have a hard time fitting you in and we saw lots of people being turned away.

The food was consistently very good. We tried everything on the afternoon menu. Ordering via smartphone was a bit odd. The view of the scantily clad women across the street took some getting used to. Overall, though, we recommend it. And you should either arrive early or make a reservation. We were lucky to get a table at 4:00 PM on Friday afternoon.

The bibimbap in a stone pot is delicious; those who love strong flavors will adore it. The kimchi stew is on the sour side, but very palatable. Highly recommended when you're craving Asian food.

The restaurant in Molensteeg is top! Excellent and indulgent food, cosy setting, fast service and very friendly staff and fair prices! Also the special ice cream is worth mentioning. Where in Amsterdam today can you find this all in one place!? We will be back!
