Authentic Korean food The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very busy, so reservations are essential. We were notified at short notice when a table became available, which worked out well.

The taste of both tteokbokki and dakgalbi did not meet expectations. The tteokbokki tastes undercooked as the rice cakes are not fully spread. Dakgalbi is very salty...ㅠ Atmosphere and service were good Try other foods besides Tteokbokki and Dakgalbi.

We were looking for authentic Korean food and found it at Kim's So! 🍧🥘🥟 It was so delicious, we couldn't stop eating. Maybe we overestimated our ability to choose the dishes 👀, but we still ate almost everything. We finished off our meal with a delicious mint candy 😋 The service was friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly 🏃‍♀️‍➡️ The drink selection was also top-notch 🧃

The korean fried chicken and mandu taste good. I didn’t like the Jajangmyeon that much because the noodles were soggy, the taste is good though. The ramyeon also tastes good.

sweet & spicy chicken was juicy and flavourful with every bite, everyone has to try it! bibimbap was very yummy with gochujang that was spicy as it should be soju was priced fairly and of course the perfect addition made our day in amsterdam, thank you! :)

We ate jjigae and were surprised that you can eat such delicious jjigae outside of South Korea. The seafood pancake is also recommended. Staff is friendly, interior is warm and inviting. Unfortunately, the restaurant is right next to the red light district, which is a bit unpleasant.

We went without a reservation and, even so, they made a space for us, which was a great touch. The food is delicious, with well-balanced flavors and careful presentations. In addition, the service was excellent, the staff is friendly and attentive at all times. Definitely, a place that I will return to and that I recommend without a doubt.

First of all, the food is ok. Nothing too bad and nothing very good. But, the service is so wired and the seats are arranged too close to each other. People who arrive 45 minutes earlier than their booking could get a better couple seat and we, who arrive on time, only could have the seat right beside the stair with all the bunch of people paying and crowed right beside my back. Let alone that it is unsafe anyway to block the way for fleeing in such a small underground space. No atmosphere and should be defined more like a fast food restaurant. 4.8? You gotta be kidding!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and they welcome non reservation walk-ins too. Although I didn't expect corns to be inside of bibimbap (never saw corn in bibimbap in any other korean restaurants I've been to), I guess the food is westernized to be in favor of Dutch people.

Limited contact of service. Small tables and not the best chicken I ever had, but cannot really blame as that’s the dish itself.

We ordered the spicy fried chicken, bibimbap, and a stew. Everything was tasty, but it could have been better. For the chicken, juicier cuts should be used, the sauce was good. As for the bibimbap, I genuinely think there was too much rice compared to the other ingredients, especially the gochujang, making it a bit dry. The stew, however, was delicious. Additionally, when we arrived, we were seated downstairs. We were the first customers there, and the atmosphere wasn’t as nice as upstairs. If you make a booking, I’d recommend requesting a table upstairs for a better experience.

I’ve dined in and ordered delivery multiple time. This is my go-to spot when I can’t decide what to eat! Absolutely addicted to their fried chicken 🥰 The manager is always kind and welcoming, and the service here is top-notch!

KimSo is one of my favourite restaurants in Amsterdam. Not only the incredible food but also the service is way above average in the city. After having had a small issues with reservations in one of their locations, the staff went above and beyond to compensate us and providing us with a memorable experience in our next visit. I saw many posts on instagram about this small hidden gem inside Amsterdam’s China town. Good food, nice atmosphere, top service. Craving some Korean: this is a good place inside the heart of the city.

Tried Kim’s So Korean Food Centrum for my first taste of Korean cuisine, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and set a high standard for future meals. The restaurant is a bit cramped, and the dessert options were limited, but the great flavours, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere made up for it. Would definitely go back.

Well I'm very disappointed with this restaurant, 4.8 stars in Google, so nice comments about them, we were very excited to eat here due this reviews, but when arrived, omg! The place very dirty, the food taste is not too good, the fried chicken not crispy at all and test like too old, I understand why so good score, simply they offer free drinks or free food for you to give them 5 stars, what a shame , btw only Chinese people here, probably that is the reason of the lack of authenticity

The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the tables were too small for the amount of food, making it difficult to dine comfortably. The restaurant felt quite cramped, which created a sense of crowding. Additionally, the music was too quiet, and the air conditioning was set too cold, making it a bit uncomfortable at times. Overall, it was a positive experience, but a few improvements could enhance the comfort of the guests.

I’ve been here twice and tried different menu items, and I found everything delicious. The portions are quite generous as well. The location is very accessible in Amsterdam, just a short walk from the station. This place can be a great option if you’re craving Korean food.

The best Korean food I've ever eaten

It was delicious, highly recommended! Only we had a reservation and despite this the lady in question was difficult. It is a popular eatery. Only you have to make a reservation and we were waiting in line outside the restaurant before then. She kept saying you can take a seat, but you only have so much time, etc. etc. So pay attention to that and get up on time and go away, that's what we got. A bit unfriendly. After we ordered a lot, they left us alone or something. I understand a bit that she has to arrange it, there is a lot of demand and few seats, but stay friendly and correct otherwise it will come across as quite pushy. Good luck, we'll skip next time.

Very tasty food. We spontaneously decided to visit on Friday evening. Although it was very busy and we didn't have a reservation, the friendly service made it possible for us to get a table. The food came incredibly quickly and was very tasty. The price-performance ratio is very good.

A well hidden place and so good we went there twice during our weekend. The place is so cozy and chill, calm, everything we love. The food was delicious and generous above all. A bit of a shame that they have two different menus for lunch and dinner but apart from that great I recommend

I stopped by on a cold day, looking for something hot and soupy, and the Korean ramen beef noodle soup really hit the spot. The broth was flavorful, the ingredients were fresh, and it was exactly what I needed. The service was great—friendly and attentive—and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. The food is high quality, and I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

Very tasty food, especially the sweet and spicy chicken. The service was also very good, very friendly. I dropped my chopsticks and was immediately given new ones without asking. The price is also really good. The two of us paid €48 plus tip for the starter, 2 main courses and 2 drinks.

The food was very delicious and was served quickly even if the restaurant was full + the servings were really generous, you get alot of food for the price. The only disappointing thing was waiting ~20 minutes outside even if you had a reservation.

We had made a reservation at the wrong place, but we were still greeted in a very friendly manner and were given a table. The employees are very, very friendly and super uncomplicated, you immediately felt welcome 🤗 The food was also very tasty! There was more choice for vegetarians than expected 😊 We'll be back!

The food and drinks here were soo good and tasty! So good in fact, that we came here to eat two days in a row. The first time we had a table reservation, but had to wait another ten minutes before a table was ready. The queue outside was long, and the restaurant super busy, but I can understand why. The next day, we took our chances without a reservation but were superlucky and got a table almost straight away. The staff was pleasant and ordering easy. The only slight minus is that the seating is a bit cramped.

This is my 4th time here and no matter how crowded or what time of the day it is the the food is always amazing and the service is great! Steve is very friendly and helped us a lot with the order and everything! I also always appreciate the halal options 💕

Because it tends to be crowded, we recommend making a reservation in advance. Even if you make a reservation, you can wait for about 10 minutes. There was a Korean staff member, so I was able to place my order comfortably. The taste of the food and the service were both excellent, and the male staff in particular was very friendly, making it one of the most memorable restaurants I visited in the Netherlands. 🥹 Even though it seemed really busy as it was a time when there were a lot of customers, the customer service was really good, checking from time to time to see if the food was okay and if we needed anything else. I really appreciated the service. I was really sick with a cold that day, but the restaurant's excellent Korean food and the staff's warm and attentive service made me feel better haha. Very nice place in the center, friendly staff who help you understand the dishes... very good delicious food. For spicy lovers the place is the right one. You have to book first on Google because they are always full for on-site orders via QR but it's very simple they help you. We ate well and will go back

The restaurant was super busy when I turned up and the wonderful waitress managed to squeeze me in half an hour later. She was so kind, especially as I was eating by myself. I had the vegetable bibimbap and it was super tasty. All the other staff were also lovely. Highly recommend!

The waiters were really kind and attentive. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to walk in because someone had double booked themselves. The honey garlic KFC, seafood pancake and bibimbap were delicious! I live in the area and will definitely come back to try more in the future.

Now, about the food—it was absolutely delicious! 🤤 I thoroughly enjoyed the fried chicken(honey mustard) it was simply unmatched🤤One of my friends, who is vegetarian, opted for rice cakes and vegetarian bibimbap, which she loved. Meanwhile, I savored the ramen…it was exceptional, bursting with flavors😋We also tried the rice wine, which was incredibly tasty, and ended the meal with some comforting hot tea.😍

Cute restaurant. Very kind staff. However, due to lack of space, this restaurant cannot accommodate a very large number of people. We were passing through and still managed to eat in 1 hour (at the request of the manager). Which I completely understand. Nothing negative to say about the cuisine, the dishes were tasty, served hot 🔥. fast service. the servers smiling. The negative point is that we felt obliged to leave to make way.
