Try to clearly indicate when you're actually open and not on vacation. People stand at your door for nothing. Because your status on maps is "open," you drive half an hour and then you find yourself in front of a closed door. There's a sign saying you're on vacation. I think it's very sloppy.

It WAS our favorite Greek restaurant in our neighborhood... We literally drove out of our way for it. I write in the past because unfortunately it is deteriorating, not so much the taste, but the quantity in relation to the price. I used to be able to barely finish a dish, now it's just a standard portion, you're not hungry after eating but super full like before, the price hasn't been adjusted of course. Example the suflaki dish (no. 42). In the past you got 3 large skewers, now 3 really "lean" skewers, I estimate at least 30% less meat. The drinks have also increased considerably in price, some even +25% in a short time. While we used to get a round of drinks from the house as regular guests, we haven't had that the last 4 times, not that this is obligatory, but even recently on a special occasion with a large group no bonus, but a very hefty bill. Too bad. We now go to Geldrop more often, better price-quality ratio.

Ik kwam hier 20 jaar geleden al als kind met mijn ouders. Wat ik me vooral van toen herinnerde was goed eten en enórme porties. Afgelopen weekend weer eens teruggegaan met vrienden. Dit is hoe we het ervaren hebben: - Uitgebreide menu-kaart. Voor ieder wat wils, ook vegetariërs. - De kwaliteit en presentatie van de gerechten zijn erg goed. Het was erg lekker allemaal. - Bediening is vriendelijk en vooral razendsnel. - Lekkere cocktails en de drankjes zijn over het algemeen zacht geprijsd. - De sfeer is prima, maar het is wel erg warm en rumoerig binnen. - Het is mogelijk om wat je over hebt mee naar huis te nemen. De porties zijn nog altijd flink. - Één van ons had een stuk kip dat nog rauw was vanbinnen op een spies. Dat was wat minder. Al met al voor herhaling vatbaar en een fijne optie voor wie in Aalst uit eten wil.

Yes, I can recommend this place. The team, including the boss, is very nice and lovable. Even though the restaurant was almost completely reserved, I got a seat. The food was very tasty and plentiful, no one leaves here hungry 😉. Reservations are better, at least on weekends.

Mijn vrouw heeft mij in de jaren 80 warm gemaakt voor Grieks eten (en Griekenland). Sinds de start van Olympia zijn we hier met enig regelmaat geweest. Eerst met het gezin, daarna samen met mijn vrouw. Na haar overlijden kom ik hier graag met een zeer goed bevriend stel. Het eten is fantastisch, de sfeer en de bediening zijn prima en de eigenaars zijn uitermate vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het is bijzonder knap om die zaken al die jaren op een zo hoog niveau te houden. Absolute aanrader.

We had a delicious meal. Large portions, in our opinion even too large. We couldn't finish it. I had the spaghetti from the oven and my friend the Olympia dish. The service was top notch and the food came quickly. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back!

Cozy restaurant, our table could use a little more light. We used the phone's flashlight to properly read the menu. It was just a little too dark at our table. Ordered 6 complete dishes with 6 people and only received tzatziki and potatoes for 2 people. Very scanty! Ended up eating dry meat without anything added. The food is delicious, too bad they don't give it away - even if you pay. This used to be my favorite restaurant, so it's a shame.

On your wedding day, enjoy a day at the zoo in Veldhoven, and then end it off at a delicious Greek restaurant. Always a party, and now for a change at Olympia in Waalre. We made reservations a little earlier, but that was no problem. We were allowed to take a seat in the conservatory at the back of the restaurant. Immediately received a delicious Ouzo (Gatsios Red, nice and soft) on the house, and the menu. Making a quick choice takes a while, because the menu is quite extensive. As starters, the Spanokopita (in this case small spinach patties, something completely different) and Kefedakia (Greek meatballs in tomato sauce), plus a fresh loaf of bread (nice to eat the tomato sauce completely). The main course this time is not a dish for the two of us, but everyone has his/her "own" plate. The Kefalonia and the house dish the Olympia (with extra moussaka). My wife couldn't stop talking about the moussaka, and it is indeed very tasty. But both dishes were also very tasty, the chips are a special change from the usually standard fries that you get elsewhere. And the Kritharaki completes it. The extra sauce you get with it is also delicious, very tasty. Unfortunately I didn't finish everything, but I was allowed to take it home, a shame to throw it away even though it was very tasty. Unfortunately no more room for dessert this time. It is also very nice (at least I think) that there is sufficient garnish on the plate. Gives a little more atmosphere and taste, here delicious fresh orange, grapefruit and melon (was not completely ripe). Next time we are in the area, we will definitely visit again. Because that delicious Moussaka goes home as an extra portion! Thank you very much for the nice evening (and enjoy your holiday). It's just a shame that the owner only opens the door for you when you come to pick up his order with a yellow Ferrari :-(

This Greek restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants, the food is of very good quality and the service is great! The gyros with lamb chops are especially delicious.

After a very frustrating evening and a poor experience at a local hotel we arrived around 20:00 on Saturday and were able to walk in and get a seat immediately. The staff spoke excellent English, they were incredibly helpful and friendly and really helped brighten up our evening. The food was amazing and reasonably priced, although a little saltier than my taste. Definitely recommend if you end up in any of the local hotels and want to go somewhere other than the hotel restaurant.

This greek restaurant offers good services. Very polite, delightful and warm. Warm appetizers were prome based. Promes were very giant, but meat itself were not old. Freshness was reserved well. Every bit did taste the shrimp aroma. Dishes were great in taste. My lamb was tender but not require much chewing at all. Family lamb stew, the lamb was very soft but the texture remained. Reasoning was a bit heavy, so good to go with bread or chips. Seat outdoor was a plus. Fresh air always adds good feeling when grt together with friends.

Such a great place. I have been to a couple Greek places in the Netherlands, and this one has climbed to number 1 for me now. The food is exceptional. The recipes are original from Greece, and not every single thing on the menu is meat based and is served with gyros. It’s an authentic menu. The prices are a bit high, but normal for restaurant prices in the Netherlands. The family owning the place are originated from Greece and really love what they’re doing. I highly recommend this place. You will not get disappointed.
