Tasty food, friendly atmosphere – small point of attention I went to Mr. several times a few years ago. Chang was in Waalre and thought it was really great. Now, years later, I went again (under new ownership), and I was pleasantly surprised: the food is still very tasty! Some dishes taste slightly different than before, but that didn't bother us at all. The only thing that was a little less: it took quite a while before we could approach someone for a drink. Furthermore, a great experience, nice atmosphere and definitely still recommended for lovers of Asian cuisine.

Ik ben een paar jaar geleden meerdere keren bij Mr. Chang in Waalre geweest en vond het toen echt top. Nu, jaren later, weer geweest (onder nieuwe eigenaar), en ik was blij verrast: het eten is nog steeds erg lekker! Sommige gerechtjes smaken iets anders dan vroeger, maar dat stoorde totaal niet. Het enige wat iets minder was: het duurde vrij lang voordat we iemand konden aanspreken voor een drankje. Verder prima ervaring, leuke sfeer en zeker nog steeds een aanrader voor liefhebbers van de Aziatische keuken.

It's very delicious. Every dish is exquisite and delicious. The lady boss is very nice and introduced several of the more popular dishes in the store! The children also rarely felt very full! Recommended to everyone!

Vrienden hebben ons meegenomen naar dit restaurant. De inrichting is modern en licht en de bediening vriendelijk en vlot. Het concept is all-you-can-eat Aziatisch. Je kunt maximaal 3 gerechten per ronde bestellen en er zijn maximaal 5 ronden. De gerechten bestaan o.a. uit Sushi en Chinese en Indonesische gerechten. Wij hadden na 4 ronden meer dan voldoende gegeten en de gerechten waren heerlijk en van goede kwaliteit.

Friends took us to this restaurant. The decor is modern and bright and the service is friendly and efficient. The concept is all-you-can-eat Asian. You can order a maximum of 3 dishes per round and there is a maximum of 5 rounds. The dishes include Sushi and Chinese and Indonesian dishes. After 4 rounds we had eaten more than enough and the dishes were delicious and of good quality.

Yesterday I came to eat here for the first time since the takeover by the new owner. I must say that we had a wonderful evening, a good welcome, good and prompt service, delicious sushi and dishes. Simply great.

Great service, took the time for you. Due to a milk allergy, it was clearly indicated what I could and could not eat. Came regularly to check if everything was as expected. Food was served neatly and not thrown on the table like many other all-you-can-eat dishes. Food itself was also very good! The sushi rolls were well filled and everything tasted good.

Everything was good, great. The food is beautifully served and very tasty. The service is very nice, everything is well explained in a calm and pleasant manner. I thought at the last minute that it would be fun to have a fountain put in my brother's dessert since we were there for his birthday. That was no problem, he was very cooperative and he even received a present. Nothing is too much to ask. Big kudos to the owner and staff! Just can't get any better.

UPDATE SINCE TAKEOVER 2024: We didn't know about the takeover, so we were a bit in mourning. We were shocked by the new concept. Another sushi, we thought. And we really hoped they hadn't adapted Mr Chang's dishes. My husband (we are now married) is a very big eater and he was shocked when it said that a maximum of 5 rounds could be ordered. In any case, they didn't make any fuss about this at all! We had a nice chat and they were really nice. We were pleasantly surprised by the sushi. They were something different and not as standard as usual. Some dishes have also been adapted. First the 'lesser' changes for us: — The Szechuan beef is now more sweet instead of really 'Szechuan'. I get it, but we are one of the few who really like authenticity. — The Peking duck was now duck breast fillet instead of the deliciously crispy duck. — the wok flavor of the dishes was considerably less — first the concept was unlimited enjoyment, now there was a maximum limit. Again, they really didn't bother with this and realized that there are few big eaters who really surpass the five rounds. Funny that they came to tell me that they were proud of my husband xD. So this is actually also a plus. The good improvements: — they really went above and beyond. It was clear that she did not want to detract from the concept and the good name of Mr. Chang wanted to honor. — very nice servers (who stayed) and a nice host! My friend and I had heard about it before and went there for the first time with high expectations. They exceeded these expectations with everything! All dishes are tasty, fresh, high quality and bursting with flavour. The staff is incredibly friendly. This is really authentic Chinese food, the way we like it and which you cannot find this way anywhere else. Plus, it's not too expensive for the quality you get. I have a very small quibble: it says Dutched babi pangang, satay and foe yong hai on the back of the card!! Haha, I understand: something for everyone and also for the picky eaters. This is how Asian food should taste and not like that sweet stuff from the local Chinese... Keep it up, you are my favorite restaurant in Eindhoven!!

Today, Father's Day at Mr. Chang's. Together with my wife, daughter and son we enjoyed the freshly prepared sushi. Everything prepared with care and neatly served. Quality is superb. For sure I will visit again with friends who I want to introduce to Mr. Chang. Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys sushi.

I think it's a shame that the business has been taken over, which means there is now a lot of sushi on the menu. While previously that was not the case at all. It has become more of a sushi place now. It was said that the old dishes were also still on the menu. I doubt this, I feel like a lot was left out. What used to be a place I regularly visited, I don't know whether I would return now.

Erg lekker gegeten. Kaart was uitgebreid met sushi. Erg lekker. Blijkt dat het restaurant een nieuwe eigenaar heeft. Het feit dat je “maar” 5 ronden kunt bestellen van max 3 gerechten per persoon was voor ons geen probleem. We hebben niet eens 5 ronden gehaald. Meer dan genoeg gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening en ontvangst.

We had dinner tonight at Mr. Chang. All in all a great experience. Excellent service with very friendly employees. The food was very tasty, fresh and also served quickly. We come from far away but have already decided that as soon as we are in the area again we will definitely visit again. What sets this Japanese sushi and grill restaurant apart from similar restaurants is the experience of everything together. Presentation, sensation, freshness, quality, friendliness, appearance. Come here 100% recommended.

Nieuwe eigenaar, de kaart is uitgebreid met sushi. Goede zet wat ons betreft. Sushi is prima van kwaliteit. Wel bijna allemaal vis en vega. De andere gerechten van de vorige kaart zijn zoals altijd goed. We misten wel het stoommandje bij de pekingeend ;) Niets te klagen, herken de negatieve recensies hier van net na de wisseling van eigenaar dan ook niet. 3 gerechten pp en 5 rondes is ook gewoon voldoende, de porties zijn daar groot zat voor.

It is a kind of all you can eat model, where you work towards saturation in 4 rounds. The menu is nice and short and varied. There is some uncertainty about the quantity ordered. Some portions go individually, others are for 2 people... causing some confusion for some. For the rest: Everything tastes good, fresh, crispy fried, good sauces. Fine.

I come here regularly, staff is very attentive and the food is amazing! They have a very nice concept of ‘tapas’ size dishes, perfect to share, with two or bigger groups.

We walked in here at a very quiet time so our food arrived quickly and hot. The flavors were great. The concept of 35 euros all you can eat is only good if quality is served and we had that too. Of all the cuts of meat, everything was tender. The vegetable dishes were also tasty. So the price/quality is absolutely right. 5 stars deserved. (We have no desserts)

This is a creative Chinese cuisine, all-you-can-eat restaurant with a pair of stone lions at the door. There is a large Chinese vase in the restaurant, some Chinese hanging paintings on the right wall, and a mural of beautiful flowers on the left wall. There are not many seats in the restaurant and it can easily fill up. It is best to make a reservation in advance during holidays or festivals. The waiter will take you to your seat and explain the ordering rules to you. Adults cost €35 per person, children €2 per year, drinks and desserts are extra. There are menus and order sheets on the table. There are a total of 30 dishes to choose from, divided into three main categories: vegetarian, seafood and land. Four dishes can be ordered per round, and you can choose the portion size of each dish. When there are not many people, the food is served quite quickly. While waiting for the food to be served, you can first think about what you want to order next. Although there are only four rounds on the ordering list, when you finish ordering four rounds, the waiter will bring you a new ordering menu so that you can continue to order. There is no time limit for dining, but the kitchen can only take orders until 9:30. Usually by the fifth round, you should be pretty full. Delicious food for a very reasonable price. Asian-oriented dishes from the all-you-can-eat concept are quickly on the table. Nice choice of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. They are beautifully presented and certainly not over the top. As an accompaniment there is a choice of white rice, nasi, noodles and noodles. Service is friendly, good and correct. The restaurant has an open kitchen so you can see how the dishes are prepared. I will definitely go back again.

About 3 years ago we visited Mr Sjang quite often, we tried it again earlier this year and I spoke to host Sjang about the quality of the tenderloin in particular, which in our opinion was not tasty and had an unpleasant fatty taste, we continued with the prawns in garlic. yuck yuck really not edible! Today, the benefit of the doubt, I tried again on the first day of Pentecost, but this was definitely the last time!! Super Super bad no wonder, the place is almost empty except for two tables (previously full 3 years ago) Well with this kind of food that won't work anymore! small thing, both host and hostess (owners) do not know how to deal with negative responses. I wish them much success in the future.
