Gulle Goedzak in Wijk 03 Nijverdal West

A cozy restaurant with a large terrace where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a full meal. There is a clear menu with something for everyone's taste. We had, among other things, a tasty, tender schnitzel (not one of those rock-hard, deep-fried pieces of hardboard!) with some salad and fries on the side. Well, if you manage to finish that, you’ve really had a good meal and can move on without feeling hungry! There is just enough room for an ice cream sundae to finish! The service was very friendly and quick. Value for money, a ten. There are plenty of parking spaces in the area.

What a fantastic place De Gulle Goedzak in Nijverdal is! We had an incredibly delicious meal here. The meat was truly of exceptional quality: super tender and full of flavor, and every single dish looked fantastic. Nothing but praise for the service as well; the staff is very friendly, efficient, and attentive, making you feel welcome immediately. Whether you choose a cozy lunch or an elaborate dinner, this is absolutely a place to remember. Highly recommended, and we will gladly return!

What a lovely menu. We opted for one of the authentic platter menus. It was certainly generous and good, without a doubt.

The ice cream there is surprisingly tasty. €1.75 per scoop. But you do get a large scoop for that price. Good flavors and plenty of choice. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

The cook thought he was being clever. He didn't want any onion. Pieces of onion in my omelet. Sent it back and got the same plate back with the answer that there was no onion in it. I had to explain why I didn't want anything with onion. So the omelet went back. But by then my partner had already finished his lunch. A pity. The service was okay though. Friendly young lady.

I had made a reservation for lunch for two. Upon arrival, we were able to choose our own table, which also meant that no table was held for us. In this case, of course, that wasn't an issue. The service was friendly and the ordered drinks arrived quickly, as did the two main course salads. In terms of freshness and presentation, they were fine, but there was room for improvement regarding taste. A little balsamic vinegar would have made a big difference. After a few more drinks, I went to pay and discovered that I couldn't pay with my Dinner Gift Card. Reason: it is a public holiday. That was the reason, except that this is nowhere to be found on the Dinner Gift Card website or on their own website. If that is your (peculiar) policy, so be it. But at least make sure this is clear to everyone. Either on the Dinner Gift Card website or on your own website. The argument that most people who make a reservation indicate that they want to pay this way does not hold up for several reasons. For example, I made the reservation online. This Dinner Gift Card does not offer special menus or packages; it is simply a payment method à la the good old book voucher. As far as we are concerned, a one-time visit...

Had a very good meal! Onion soup and tomato soup + vegetarian quiche and teriyaki chicken wok, highly recommended! Fast service and friendly staff.

Fine eatery. We had a large schnitzel. The side of fries and salad was somewhat unevenly distributed, with a lot of fries and little salad. Friendly service, with staff coming by regularly.

Ate 2 delicious Paninis today. Really super tasty and very generously filled. The staff were also particularly nice and efficient. They really get it all here. Highly recommended if you are in Nijverdal. See you soon.

Went for lunch at the "Gulle" again today Due to my diet, having broad requests regarding what I can't eat or eat was no problem at all. I even got a discount because I was served less than usual (due to the diet) No-nonsense Tukkerburger, just meat and cheese. And a satay sandwich Both very tasty and well-prepared Service was also very quick, friendly, and polite The decor is getting a bit boring; it's been the same for years. Are we going back? Definitely!

The carpaccio sandwich had absolutely no flavor. The Italian roll looked like it was from yesterday or hadn't been baked long enough. I've never had such a disgusting sandwich. The waitress dropped her drink—it happens, but she didn't say anything, and after cleaning, half the table was still wet. Not recommended.

Delicious ice cream in Nijverdal

Two days ago, my granddaughter and I had a pancake here. It was soaking in grease and tasted like Chinese food. Such a shame. The coffee and ice cream were excellent! Friendly staff.

Great food for a quick bite/snack. The fries are nice and crispy, and the service is friendly. When you order by phone, they tell you how long it will take to pick up your order (mine took 5 minutes, so I had to cycle quickly ;-)).

The food was exceptionally delicious, with a delicious tomato soup served with bread rolls and some herb butter. Then we had tender steak cubes with stir-fried vegetables and fries. Definitely worth repeating!

The Gulle Goedzak lives up to its name. We found the quality of the meal salad with chicken, the schnitzel with bacon and onions, satay, fries, etc. more than good. The presentation on the plates radiated the attention of the chef. The prices for the dishes are fine (compared to others even cheap) and that also applies to the drinks. Friendly service and with nice weather you can sit wonderfully in the center on the terrace.

Just ate here with my girlfriend but did not have a nice experience. First of all we had to wait a long time for our food while it was not very busy. We had ordered one of the platters together but that was not a success, the food was already cold and the spare ribs were really dry. There was also a hair in the salad, luckily we got a new one. The fries were very tasty. We thought we had to pay for 1 platter because it said from 2 persons but afterwards it turned out that was not the case, when we explained that to one of the employees there he started shouting at us, we just paid and eventually just left. For us never again here

Came here for an icecream. Decent prices, nice icecream and very friendly staff. Service is quick and effective. Nice terrace to eat your icecream after you buy it. Pretty fountains and plants around makes the atmosphere nice and relaxing. Tables are spacious. Great place to get an icecream on a warm summer day!

Helaas geen fijne ervaring. We waren met een grote groep. De kinderen kregen pas eten nadat de volwassenen de borden al op hadden. Er klopte niks van de bestelling, na veel gedoe leek het eindelijk te kloppen maar bleek dat ze een koude kroket serveerden die van binnen nog bevroren was.. wij komen hier niet meer terug.

Hier geweest op Koningsdag. Een drankje besteld en een borrelplank. Drankje redelijk snel ontvangen maar een uur gewacht op de borrelplank. Uiteindelijk drank afgerekend, zonder borrelplank. Weet dat het druk is maar het personeel lijkt alle tijd te hebben. En hoeveel tijd kost het om een borrelplank te maken.

Goed eten voor een normale prijs. Toiletten zijn schoon. Super vriendelijke mensen. Leuke locatie, centrum / winkelstraat van Nijverdal. Zomers lekker op het terras. Gewoon alles goed 👍

Here you can sit and have something to drink and eat. Very smooth and neat operation. Food hot, coffee at the right temperature. We will come back here again.

Vriendelijke bediening, lekker gegeten. Het vlees was to the point toebereid. De portie is ruim voldoende. We waren er vrijdagavond 18 uur, enig minpuntje is dat het er erg rustig was.

Hier gegeten met tweede Kerstdag. Hele aardige bediening en super lekker vlees. Ook de poffertjes en pannenkoeken waren vers bereid.

Nice place and friendly staff. But the chopped ball... Never take it, we call it the Bonzo ball here at home. Pressed dog food made into a ball and heated from a can and placed on your plate. I've been really sick of it. Fries and salad were good.

The name of the business caught my attention. That must be okay, I thought. That turned out to be true. I ate a delicious Hawaiian grilled cheese sandwich and my wife had a Duo Vis sandwich. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. The staff was friendly and accurate. All that at a fair price. Highly recommended.

In the center of Nijverdal you can eat and drink at the Gulle Goedzoek. Nice terrace and friendly service. Only the sandwich that was recommended on the menu (something with tapas, I believe) is not really recommended. Way too wet and too much lettuce so the flavors don't really come through. You can also get ice cream from the side.

The food in general was tasty, except one of us ordered the pancake. This was not home-baked, but just a Jan pancake from a package with some vegetables put on it. At first they had forgotten the aforementioned vegetables, so after sending it back we received the same, now lukewarm, pancake back, but in the end we simply did not eat it. The atmosphere was also good and you can sit outside comfortably.

Had a quick lunch with my wife and received a super warm welcome. The service was simply very friendly and hospitable. The food was ok, I had a satay with bread, the taste of the satay was not very good. It was good but no wow factor. You can sit outside on a lovely spacious terrace.

Wij hebben daar gezeten, gewacht gewacht en gewacht, kwam niemand. Kwamen andere gasten binnen werden direct geholpen. Ik dacht ach is druk wacht nog effe. De bediening is meerdere malen langs ons gelopen en zag dat we niks hadden. Nou we zijn weg gegaan en ergens anders gaan lunchen.
