Had a tasty lunch, though quite large. Friendly service, it was perfect. The only downside is that you sit close to the road; next time I would sit inside and not on the terrace.

We had lunch with six people at Hancate 2.0. The friendly waitresses pushed two tables together so we didn't have to sit inside. The first drinks were brought promptly. The lunch itself was well-prepared, with various sandwiches for everyone, including egg and carpaccio. Generously filled and flavorful. Even a small curry soup and a cone of fries were included.

We stumbled upon Hancate 2.0 while staying at the Hof v Salland holiday park. It is a beautiful restaurant with a veranda and an indoor area for slightly larger groups. The service and staff are top-notch, making a visit a lovely, welcoming place you want to return to often. The food is delicious. The pork tenderloin was wonderfully tender and well-seasoned, the beef tenderloin was divine, and the vegetables and fries were also excellent. The soup of the day was a delicious mushroom soup and also superb. The Hancate Mule Mocktail was nice and sweet and a little spicy, which is a great combination and highly recommended (just like the iced coffee). In addition to a delicious dinner, we also enjoyed a tasty lunch. The lunch special was truly excellent, but just about everything you order looks delicious. You can also get a tasty ice cream at a small ice cream parlor inside the building. There is a small corner outside where kids can play for a bit. Unfortunately, the holiday is over; otherwise, we would certainly have come back several more times. We visit Hellendoorn regularly and have decided to drive past Hancate afterwards for dinner. It is not without reason that I added the restaurant to my very select number of favorites in Google Maps. If you are in the area, visit this place! This time we are not saying "see you tomorrow" or "see you later," but definitely "See you soon." Thanks for the positive contribution to our holiday.

It looks nice, but it is weird that you can order a croquette with bread but not with fries; you have to order that separately just to make it nice and expensive.

We dined here on Saturday evening. We had a platter for 49.50. Nicely presented. The spare rib was flavorful. The steak was very tough. Also, the salad was missing, which you would expect with such a dish. We had to wait a long time, but it was Whitsun weekend so it was very busy. We had lunch on Whit Monday. 1 x 12 o'clock lunch and 1 x 2 croquettes on bread. The first croquette was lukewarm, so we asked to reheat the second one. It wasn't really tasty after that. The bread seemed to be from the supermarket. In a restaurant like this, I expect nice, freshly sliced ​​farmhouse bread.

Nice menu (only checked the lunch menu), an option I can recommend is the 'choice stress' sandwich. The menu wasn't entirely up-to-date for this particular dish, but they are happy to help you choose, so no stress. 😉 Stayed a little longer than expected, but that too is a compliment to the warm hospitality. So we had to move on quickly, but if you are in the area: feel free to stop by and enjoy the moment.

We had a fantastic evening, enjoyed a lovely dinner out, this time with my girlfriend, and last time with my girlfriend and her in-laws. Both times the food was exceptionally good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, decorated with all sorts of different light bulbs, making it truly enjoyable.

A very nice, hip restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. We had a platter for two, with plenty of everything. Steaks, medallions, chicken, schnitzel, smoked pork, and in the middle, a pot of goulash, served with bacon-wrapped goat's cheese, braised onions and mushrooms, salad, and homemade fries with mayo and two different sauces. By the way, they also speak German there. The espresso afterward with a praline was also not to be despised; I still rave about it today. Thank you for the delicious experience. We'll be back.

Nice restaurant. Admittedly located on a main road, but then you have something to look at. This restaurant has excellent logistics. Everything went smoothly. Despite being busy, they were on top of orders. The food was good. But the schnitzels were cooked a bit too long. The result: a dark edge and dry meat. Too bad. Otherwise, it's a great restaurant. You won't starve there. You get your money's worth.

Nothing fancy, just good quality and tasty food, at the right temperature, and more than enough. We found the price-quality ratio surprisingly good and were pleasantly surprised. The service was good. The appetizer (beer-battered mushrooms) was delicious. We ordered a pork chop for our main course. Boneless, which was fine. You'd think of a nice pork chop, pan-fried, breaded, and deep-fried if necessary. We received a thick piece of pork, pre-cooked in brine, or perhaps smoked. Very salty because of the brine. It looked more like smoked ribs. Smoked ribs are delicious in thinner slices with sauerkraut in the winter, but not as a thick lump. We complained, because it wasn't even remotely a pork chop. The menu did say it was boneless, but didn't mention that the chop had been pre-treated with brine, then smoked and/or boiled, and then heated in a pan/steamer. After complaining, we could choose something else. We didn't feel like waiting any longer and declined the offer. At the end, we were offered the option of a house drink or removing the main courses from the voucher. We chose the latter. It was resolved very nicely. Everything else was perfectly fine.

On our way, we saw this ice cream parlor and were eager for some ice cream. We sat down on the patio at a table that hadn't been cleaned yet. It took a while for the waitress to take our order, and I asked for a cloth for the dirty table. After a while, she returned, explaining that the ice cream was only for after dinner, so it might take a while. We asked, "How long will it take?" "About 20 minutes," she replied. We decided to buy ice cream elsewhere. As we walked toward the patio exit, we saw the ice cream counter inside. It was strange that we weren't told about that option. And strange, if you're/own an ice cream parlor, that your customers can't buy ice cream. No cloth for the table, and no ice cream. We understand the circumstances (the kitchen is busy), but this is certainly driving customers away.

Very tasty high tea. Nicely presented. A delicious soup, no other hot dishes. Perhaps the service could be a bit faster 13:00 agreed to eat at 14:00. Our tea water was not refilled. Beginner's mistakes I think. We will just come back in a while. Hoping for improvement.

Reserved Sunday evening 2 pers. Menu had been adjusted by the new owner, so not the same as on the website. Many dishes have become more expensive again (where not!). There are nice offers via social deal with a small menu, but no place for this evening. Reception, service, decor, atmosphere and drinks were good. After an hour and a half of waiting we got our main course. In my opinion this is half an hour too long. Pork tenderloin is only available with a piece of pork belly. Pork belly is larger than the 2 pieces of pork tenderloin, which were a bit overcooked and therefore on the dry side. That was a shame. Baked potato and raw vegetables were fine. Conclusion: Everything looked perfect and the taste was good. Too bad about the long wait and the pork tenderloin. I would like to see the tender pork tenderloin with brie back on the menu
