Terribly stingy! The place looks nice, so you might quickly expect good quality in food and service. But the opposite turned out to be true. Our slightly overzealous waitress almost tackled her colleagues to shamelessly shout that she was taking the orders. In addition, our son was denied a glass of normal tap water, after we had already ordered I don't know how many rounds of (overly) expensive drinks. The food was pretty okay for a bistro, but then expect that price level. All in all, a regrettable experience; fortunately, we did have a good time, and that is the most important thing.

After a good experience last year, we decided to eat here again. We reserved a table for 5:15 PM, but ultimately decided to pay at 7:35 PM, before the ordered desserts had been served. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and pleasant. The staff is friendly, but it was clear that the waitstaff were extremely busy. At 5:15 PM, we took our seats in the restaurant. Our drinks were taken courteously, and we were then given the menu. However, it took about 30 minutes before our order was taken. We found that a bit on the long side, but subsequently, the food was served quickly and neatly. In our opinion, the restaurant's prices are above average. Not excessively expensive, but certainly not cheap either. For these prices, you are entitled to expect a certain level of service. The spareribs we ordered were fine in terms of taste, although in our opinion, they were a bit dry. That is, of course, a matter of taste, and there is little arguing about that. After we had finished the main course, a staff member came to ask kindly if we wanted dessert. The menu was brought out again neatly and quickly. Subsequently, it took quite a long time once more before we could place our order. After about 20 minutes, a staff member finally came by, after which we ordered two desserts. After that, we waited for about another 30 minutes. In the meantime, we tried several times to signal the wait staff, give a signal, and even speak to them directly. Unfortunately, the staff members were walking back and forth so busily that we were unable to make contact. As a result, it was also not possible to order drinks in between. Furthermore, it was striking that a wrong dish or drink was brought to our table three times, clearly intended for another table. At those moments, too, we were not given the opportunity to point out to the wait staff that we had been waiting for our desserts for quite some time. Finally, at 7:35 PM, we decided to settle the bill and cancel the desserts. The colleague at the cash register apologized for this and removed the amount for the desserts from the bill. We were offered the option to take the desserts home. We politely declined that offer, as it was no longer a solution for the problem we had encountered. In total, we were inside for approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes. During that time, we consumed 1 water, 2 Rivella, 1 bread board, and 2 portions of spare ribs. We simply find it disappointing that we left the restaurant after 2 hours and 20 minutes without dessert, even though we had ordered it well over half an hour earlier. We regret that the evening unfolded in this way, especially since we had a good experience last year and would have liked to return for that reason. We also find it unfortunate that our complaint at the cashier was ultimately handled rather superficially. We would have appreciated it if our experience had been listened to more at that moment and an attempt had been made to accommodate us in an appropriate manner. All in all, a disappointing experience, especially since, given our previous good experience, we had chosen this restaurant again with positive expectations.

Be careful what you order, because you are politely asked when ordering which vegetables you want with the menu, but they are charged extra, just like the bread rolls that were offered before the meal; that was listed extra on the bill. We had a delicious meal, and the service was very friendly. Just a small remark... Service was provided by many different waitstaff. As a result, the drinks arrived with the food only after we had already finished eating.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a very (too) long time for the main course. Excellent service, who explained that it was due to the system. When your starter was served, your main course was only placed at the very back of the line. It was my mother's 80th birthday and it really spoiled the atmosphere. We skipped dessert and had an ice cream in the village. We had been there from 18:00 to 20:40 for two courses and that was enough. Perhaps it is time to coordinate with the customer instead of letting this system frustrate them.

Yesterday, during the Sheep Market, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the terrace of Twents Steakhouse Noabers. My husband enjoyed a nice beer and I had a delicious, refreshing Moscow Mule. Later, I also ordered a Blossom Cosmopolitan mocktail, which is highly recommended! Enjoying the live music in the shade on the terrace, the atmosphere was fantastic. Our children also enjoyed their drinks and a delicious fresh strawberry cream puff. A big compliment to the staff. Despite the high temperatures, they remained friendly, enthusiastic, and worked incredibly hard. That truly deserves appreciation. Thank you for the hospitality. We had a wonderful afternoon and will definitely be back!

Had a delicious meal! Super tender ribeye. Starters, main courses, desserts. We tasted everything. Everything was top-notch! Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff too. One point of criticism: for those prices, a small bowl of vegetables really should be included instead of having to pay extra for it.

I thought the food was very bad; the tomato soup tasted good but wasn't very hot. The skewers: the steak was very tough, not very hot, and lacked flavor; the pork tenderloin was very dry and had very few seasonings on it. The chicken also had very few seasonings. The fries were fried for far too long; they were brown and dried out on the inside. The service: was very nice, really helpful.

We have eaten at this amazing restaurant several times. We were there again tonight, and it was well worth the drive from the Achterhoek to Hellendoorn once more. Meat that falls off the bone, a great atmosphere, and excellent value for money. You will definitely see us again.

On Whit Sunday, four of us were at the restaurant at 7:00 PM, where we were warmly welcomed. The order was taken: a starter for the gentlemen and a main course for everyone. The starters and drinks arrived quickly and were okay. After that, we had to wait from half past seven until a quarter past nine for our main course: an hour and forty-five minutes!!!! Scandalous, but the reaction of two staff members was also completely outrageous…. No apologies, let alone a cup of coffee… Unfortunately, because it is normally a nice place, but this was truly worthless !!!

I've been here before and we loved the food but the amount of it was ridiculously too much, we were in 2 and we had food for 2 more people left. So by the second visit we decided to order 1 plate first and then after that decide if we'd order more. What wasn't our surprise when they said that was not allowed to share a plate. So if you want to eat here you're obligated to order double the food you're gonna eat. What an "eco" company (contains sarcasm).

We were looking for a restaurant with a vegan option in Hellendoorn, and surprisingly this steakhouse was suggested to us. There were two vegan options - we had the filled bell pepper. It was quite delicious! There was a little mix-up with the coleslaw, which had non-vegan mayo, but we got a really big (vegan) salad instead once we pointed it out. :) All in all, a good option for vegans!

This restaurant is located in a beautiful spot in Hellendoorn. Nice atmosphere and friendly people. Plenty of choice regarding food. However, we found our choices a bit disappointing. The vegetarian grilled peppers and the stew lacked flavor. It is great, though, that you get unlimited side dishes.

I arrived at the restaurant; it looked cozy, and it was. But we had ordered and had to wait two hours for the food. It was tasty, but there was very little of it. And it was hot and crowded. It was nice that there was an outdoor area, though.

So far, this is one of my favorite places in Overijssel, especially in Hellendoorn. I live in Zwolle but originally I come from abroad, and I bring every visitor to this spot because they always get a “wow” feeling. The restaurant has a cozy vibe, and my favorite part is when they serve the bread in a klompen 😍- I find this detail really unique. The butter and mayo that come with the bread are delicious, and the bread itself is great as well. In my experience, the service is really good and quite fast—the staff are always kind and welcoming. The food is also very tasty. I usually order meat (so far my favorite dish there), and the fries are especially delicious.

The schnitzels were huge and delicious. The steak was also well-cooked. You can order unlimited side dishes, and they were fine too. Delicious potatoes, tasty coleslaw, simple fries, and the forgotten vegetables were also fine. Initially, it was enough, and we did not take advantage of the option to order more. The desserts were also delicious. Both the Monchou sundae and the special chocolate fondue and tiramisu. The latter could have used a bit more biscuit. The staff is very friendly and pays plenty of attention to the tables. All in all, we had a wonderful meal, and this is highly recommended!

In our group of 10, there were two vegetarian diners who were slightly less impressed, which is a shame because a good chef nowadays can prepare wonderful meals for vegetarians. Twente guarantees super delicious food, but they should put in even more effort for meatless diners; that could really be better! Otherwise, we had a wonderful evening with you, filled with great hospitality!

The food is decent, but it is inappropriate that you have to pay extra for a starter roll and hot vegetables at such prices. Our conclusion: nice terrace for coffee or a drink, but we won't be coming back here to eat 😒

I visited this restaurant based on the many positive reviews. Everything was excellent: a great beer menu with the right brands, polite and friendly service, a cozy restaurant, and two different kinds of fries with the meal. My wife had the hamburger, which she thought was delicious, and I had the mixed grilled skewer and spare rib (sweet). The skewer was fine, especially with the herb butter (as recommended by the waitress), but the spare rib, in my opinion, was frozen: old, stale, dry, and I couldn't detect any sweetness. I generally never give up meat, but I stopped eating this spare rib halfway through. I had (literally) eaten and drunk. In short: a nice restaurant to try, but I can't recommend the spare ribs.

A lovely restaurant with a menu in dialect. The food is delicious and the service is incredibly friendly. It's also a great place to eat with younger children. However, I wouldn't give it a 5-star review because the seating is a bit cramped and the prices are seriously high.

A cozy spot on the terrace, blankets were ready for those feeling the cold, cozy fires were lit, and a nice glass of wine was in the background. We also ordered some snacks, which were delivered neatly and beautifully, one of them in a beautiful clog. It was wonderfully cozy.

It's perfectly understandable that there's a supplement charge when you order a starter as a main course, because you can eat unlimited fries, potatoes, and vegetables. It's great that the restaurant offers this option; it gives this picky eater a bit more choice. The desserts are possibly even better than the starters and main courses. Delicious ice cream, good whipped cream, and delicious coffee. They even cater to the dog. We'll definitely be back!

Ate here this week. The food was delicious, and the service and atmosphere were excellent. The service was also absolutely fantastic. I was a bit surprised by the following: You can also order a starter as a main course, but you pay €6 extra for it. Because one person at our table had a starter as their starter and another wanted the same starter as their main course, you'd expect that with a €6 higher price, you'd also get more, but... you're paying that extra for the side dishes (which everyone else already gets with their main course), and nothing else is added to the dish. We found that a shame and strange. So, a tip: if you're planning on doing the above, you might as well order a starter and not a main course, and then (if you're still hungry) enjoy the side dishes when they're served with the main course. I know it only saves €6, but it's the idea and the principle that counts. Other than that, it's a really lovely restaurant with good food.

The food wasn't that good, the portions small, not in proportion to the high price. The crust on my fish had completely come off and stuck terribly to the paper it was served on; it was very mushy. The schnitzel wasn't great either. For this price, I expected a bit more. But on top of that, the menus were very dirty, an immediate turn-off... Response to your comment: the fish I received looked bad the moment it was served. It shouldn't have been served. I would have been ashamed to bring that to the customer.

Unfortunately...I can only give 5 stars. The smoky spareribs are truly divine!! The same goes for the tomato soup, where the spoon almost stands upright. Lovely presentation: Mixed grill on a skewer, hanging above your plate. A lump of bread. And large portions too! The menu is in dialect. Very nice. Unfortunately, this restaurant isn't a few minutes from Doetinchem. But I hope we can come back sometime.

This afternoon I walked into this cozy-looking restaurant. Ordered two colas and asked for the menu. We chose a skewer dish for €29.95 with a €7 supplement for a second skewer. We asked if we could share this dish, but the young man said this wasn't allowed. I suggested a cup of tomato soup for €7.50 with bread. When I asked if this was allowed, the young man said it was with a €6 supplement. A little embarrassed and surprised, we went ahead with the order, but after a second thought, we decided to leave. We paid for the cola and never returned. It feels like this restaurant is run by a creative accountant, yuck.

Meh, mediocre spare ribs, okay meat. Gluten-free was just a matter of omission. Damn loud music because it was someone's birthday, but apparently that's part of it. On top of that, we waited an hour for the main course.

The steak was delicious, but the stew had too much bay leaf and too much fat, and not enough meat. Not tasty. The service was friendly, but the atmosphere was very noisy—utterly noisy and not comfortable for a peaceful meal.
