Great restaurant, good food, fast service.

A cozy, atmospheric place where the staff clearly enjoy their work. Our dog was also more than welcome. The steak is highly recommended 👌 But the desserts were also fantastic. We'd love to come back when we're in the area.

They even have a menu for dogs. The food was delicious. I'll definitely come back for the spare ribs.

We went for dinner on the recommendation of friends. And wow, it was delicious. And I haven't even mentioned the portions; we can eat well. But by the time we finished our plates (yes, you read that right), we were full. And extra compliments to our waitress; you were so kind and polite. If everyone were like that, the world would be a much better place. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back.

I visited this restaurant based on the many positive reviews. Everything was excellent: a great beer menu with the right brands, polite and friendly service, a cozy restaurant, and two different kinds of fries with the meal. My wife had the hamburger, which she thought was delicious, and I had the mixed grilled skewer and spare rib (sweet). The skewer was fine, especially with the herb butter (as recommended by the waitress), but the spare rib, in my opinion, was frozen: old, stale, dry, and I couldn't detect any sweetness. I generally never give up meat, but I stopped eating this spare rib halfway through. I had (literally) eaten and drunk. In short: a nice restaurant to try, but I can't recommend the spare ribs.

A lovely restaurant with a menu in dialect. The food is delicious and the service is incredibly friendly. It's also a great place to eat with younger children. However, I wouldn't give it a 5-star review because the seating is a bit cramped and the prices are seriously high.

A cozy spot on the terrace, blankets were ready for those feeling the cold, cozy fires were lit, and a nice glass of wine was in the background. We also ordered some snacks, which were delivered neatly and beautifully, one of them in a beautiful clog. It was wonderfully cozy.

Went for dinner yesterday. The schnitzel was very small for the 24 euros you paid. The schnitzel could have been twice as big. It came with unlimited fries, etc., but it was very dry and not tasty. Big plus for Coca-Cola!!

Fantastic restaurant with wonderful people. The food is excellent. Large portions, fantastic quality. It's perfectly understandable that there's a supplement charge when you order a starter as a main course, because you can eat unlimited fries, potatoes, and vegetables. It's great that the restaurant offers this option; it gives this picky eater a bit more choice. The desserts are possibly even better than the starters and main courses. Delicious ice cream, good whipped cream, and delicious coffee. They even cater to the dog. We'll definitely be back!

Ate here this week. The food was delicious, and the service and atmosphere were excellent. The service was also absolutely fantastic. I was a bit surprised by the following: You can also order a starter as a main course, but you pay €6 extra for it. Because one person at our table had a starter as their starter and another wanted the same starter as their main course, you'd expect that with a €6 higher price, you'd also get more, but... you're paying that extra for the side dishes (which everyone else already gets with their main course), and nothing else is added to the dish. We found that a shame and strange. So, a tip: if you're planning on doing the above, you might as well order a starter and not a main course, and then (if you're still hungry) enjoy the side dishes when they're served with the main course. I know it only saves €6, but it's the idea and the principle that counts. Other than that, it's a really lovely restaurant with good food.

The food wasn't that good, the portions small, not in proportion to the high price. The crust on my fish had completely come off and stuck terribly to the paper it was served on; it was very mushy. The schnitzel wasn't great either. For this price, I expected a bit more. But on top of that, the menus were very dirty, an immediate turn-off... Response to your comment: the fish I received looked bad the moment it was served. It shouldn't have been served. I would have been ashamed to bring that to the customer.

Unfortunately...I can only give 5 stars. The smoky spareribs are truly divine!! The same goes for the tomato soup, where the spoon almost stands upright. Lovely presentation: Mixed grill on a skewer, hanging above your plate. A lump of bread. And large portions too! The menu is in dialect. Very nice. Unfortunately, this restaurant isn't a few minutes from Doetinchem. But I hope we can come back sometime.

This afternoon I walked into this cozy-looking restaurant. Ordered two colas and asked for the menu. We chose a skewer dish for €29.95 with a €7 supplement for a second skewer. We asked if we could share this dish, but the young man said this wasn't allowed. I suggested a cup of tomato soup for €7.50 with bread. When I asked if this was allowed, the young man said it was with a €6 supplement. A little embarrassed and surprised, we went ahead with the order, but after a second thought, we decided to leave. We paid for the cola and never returned. It feels like this restaurant is run by a creative accountant, yuck.

Meh, mediocre spare ribs, okay meat. Gluten-free was just a matter of omission. Damn loud music because it was someone's birthday, but apparently that's part of it. On top of that, we waited an hour for the main course.

The steak was delicious, but the stew had too much bay leaf and too much fat, and not enough meat. Not tasty. The service was friendly, but the atmosphere was very noisy—utterly noisy and not comfortable for a peaceful meal.

The price-quality ratio is disproportionate, and the interior is chaotic. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food wasn't what we expected.

It depends on what you expect from a restaurant. If you appreciate a cozy atmosphere, a pleasant ambiance, and friendly service, it deserves 5 stars. But perhaps our "culinary dining standards" have been compromised, leading us to compare too much. We had a mixed grill skewer with dry chicken breast; someone else had a steak that was quite expensive and tasted a bit bland. The vegetables were okay, but you missed the extra... Een eetcafé waar je vooral véél krijgt. Brood in een klomp, ongeveer een half stokbrood. Bij de soep vooraf ook weer volop stokbrood. Hoofdgerecht hamburger was goed de garnalen burger was op zich ook goed maar had wat meer aangekleed kunnen worden. Misschien wat komkommer salade en zeker wat meer saus, die werd in een piepklein bakje bijgeleverd. Daarnaast twee forse bakken friet. Er werd vier keer gevraagd of alles naar wens was en of het hier een beetje smaakte….Twijfelt men aan zichzelf? Dessert zagen we vanaf, dan de rekening gevraagd en voorzichtig opgemerkt dat het allemaal wat veel was. Antwoord was “maar u gaat hier niet met honger de deur uit”

Terras nog niet voor 30% vol maar werden zo weggestuurd. Zouden ze een kater hebben van de feestweek en geen klanten willen bedienen.

Yesterday I enjoyed this cozy terrace, but what I'm starting to dislike more and more is the unpriced drink menus. Yes, I know it's all expensive, but let the guests decide for themselves whether they want to use it for the price. Half-liter beer 7.45. Small bottle of bitter lemon 3.85! Aperol Spritz, sweet 9.95. Whatever it costs, make the price known. It's even legally required. I also enjoyed the delicious nuts.

Heerlijk gegeten! Voorgerecht hoofdgerecht en daarna ook een zalig nagerecht! Voortreffelijk!! Goede bediening en vriendelijk personeel. We gaan hier zeker nogmaals heen. Een aanrader!

Visually, it's a lovely restaurant. The waitstaff is very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the owner walks around like a shrew, is the only one taking orders, and tries to sell you as much as possible like a pit bull to generate revenue. She's very unprofessional and pushy. Her unfriendly behavior makes you see and feel the negative atmosphere among both staff and customers. The staff is great, but a tip: find a job in the hospitality industry where you can interact cheerfully with customers and receive appreciation for your work. For those looking for a pleasant and good restaurant, skip Noabers and go to Railroad Steakhouse in Veenoord. It's a fantastic restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and excellent food. We had a wonderful evening there and ended our vacation on a high note.

Very expensive, not in line with the location.

Last night we arrived at the restaurant at 8:10 PM. We had read that they were open until 10:00 PM, so there was enough time (almost 2 hours) to have a nice meal. It looked pleasantly busy and luckily they still had a few tables available. However, the manager came straight to us and wanted to make an appointment with us. That's what he literally said. This seemed very strange to us. We were allowed to come and eat on two conditions. 1: if we could make a choice very quickly. (That would work because we had already studied the menu at home) we told him. And 2: only a main course. A dessert was still negotiable (if necessary). Really very strange if you are open until 10:00 PM. Not hospitable and certainly not worth repeating. Is that an appointment, asked the manager/chef? No, we shouted. We are coming to have a nice, extensive meal on Saturday evening at 8:10 PM. We immediately called restaurant “De Budde” in Nijverdal and we were very welcome to have an extensive dinner there. Logically at 20:15. People just walked in there until 21:30 to come and eat. Highly recommended and very hospitable there. We would not recommend Noabers to anyone!

April 2025: Four years later it is still perfect, we had a delicious meal again! Despite the crowds, everything was very well organized with the gluten-free dishes. Also nice atmosphere and nice staff, great! July 2021: Had a nice meal here last Wednesday, friendly service, nice terrace. An excellent gluten-free meal was also prepared for our daughter with celiac disease!

If you are fed up with crappy dining concepts such as shared dining and just want to eat super tasty and delicious food, then this is the place for you. We had spare ribs and a skewer, which were really tasty. Cozy atmosphere, good quiet acoustics and top draft beer. Service is really skilled and very hospitable, exactly what you hope for in this region. The only tip would be to ask if the guest wants wedges or fries, that was twice too much for us and a shame that it has to go.

Really a great shop. Were on vacation nearby and stopped here on a Monday. The atmosphere outside is simply beautiful :) lots of space, comfortable chairs and super friendly staff. We immediately received a children's chair, pens and a mandala for our little one. The staff is super nice and helpful despite the language block :) The food was simply great. We had a salad and once the spare ribs. Only recommended. A small plate for the child was also served. I would like to have a place like this more often :)

Nice meal. Tip: serving the whipped cream and herb butter on a small saucer and not directly on the (wooden) serving board is not very hygienic. Smooth operation As a note: I chose a complete coffee for dessert and the waitress asked which type of coffee I wanted, without mentioning that an extra contribution will be charged if you order something other than “normal” coffee. That's a shame and it feels a bit like deception when you then see the contribution on the account.

Ordered Fish & Chips with my mother. When it arrived it looked very overcooked and unfortunately also very small. The batter was almost loose around it, which made the fish very dry. Unfortunately, no one came to ask if everything was to our liking. It was not until the end of the meal that someone came to ask if everything was to our liking. Indicated that the fish was super dry and why. We were asked if we wanted a new piece of fish, but we were already full of it and out of misery we just ate the piece on the plate with a lot of sauce. This dish was sold for 25 euros! When we picked up the food, we were asked again if everything was to our liking, indicating that we had already given our feedback and I briefly explained it. The answer from the waiter was ooo okay yes okay… (not very professional) Dessert was great! When paying, we were asked again if everything was to our liking. Explaining it a third time seems very unnecessary to me! Unfortunately, there was no communication between us. Also, nothing was offered by the service, coffee from the house, for example. Which costs nothing, but perhaps makes the guest's experience just a little bit different. Eaten here several times with varying compositions. In general, always eaten well here. (never ordered fish as a main course in all these times). See photo! Op zaterdag 1 maart ‘25 om 17:00 uur eindigde mijn zesdaagse Pieterpad avontuur in Hellendoorn. Totaal uitgeblust, maar ik moest nog wel naar Nijverdal zien te komen om de trein richting huis te pakken. Er reden geen OV bussen meer en een taxi was ivm Carnaval in Hellendoorn niet te krijgen. Zat ik daar in Noabers Hellendoorn…. Het was op dat moment nog niet zo druk in het restaurant en de eigenaresse was zo vriendelijk mij ‘even’ naar het station te rijden. Nogmaals veel dank! 🫶 Ronald

Really very good. Fast service and very friendly staff

Very tasty meal! Here I ate a schnitzel with bacon, onion and mushrooms, with delicious cheese cake for dessert. Both were delicious and absolutely sufficient. In addition to your main course, fries, potato wedges and coleslaw are served. All three are delicious and can be ordered in unlimited quantities if you wish. Service was very friendly. The employee behind the grill next to the door said a friendly hello to us upon departure. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated. If you come to celebrate your birthday here and let us know, they will know how to throw a party! Parking is easy behind the building or at the church across the street, no problem at all. Absolutely recommended, we will come back again. Although I didn't order vegetarian, I was pleased to see that this steakhouse has a good vegetarian menu. This is quickly disappointing at many meat-oriented eateries, but Noabers has managed this well.

Had a cup of tea, chocolate milk and tomato soup. Drinks and soup were tasty and service was good. Why then 4 stars? 1. The sign outside said pea soup, but they no longer had it. 2. The soup came with herb butter and baguette. No knife for the herb butter. 3. My wife's tomato soup had 3 meatballs in it and my soup had 0. So a good restaurant to visit on the Pieterpad route Ommen - Hellendoorn.
