Gunay Burger in Bijlmer Oost (E,G,K)

My first time at Gunay, I knew right away I'd never go back. Grilled chicken was as dry as cardboard. Chicken covered in a mountain of flour and tasteless. Not even salt. Man, oh man. Why is this place even still open? I sit down and wait for my order, sinking deep into those broken benches. Ugh.

Too bad the wings were tasteless, the kapsalon and döner box were tasty with freshly made fries.

Friendly staff. Food is good, cheap and fast. Would recommend! Only improvement would be a delivery with an app like uber eats or thuisbezorgd.

My first time at this place. The veal döner dish was truly awful. Lots of rubbery-hard bits in the meat, old fries, and a whole jar of salt. I've had enough döner dishes in my life, and I'd almost venture to say this was the absolute worst. A lot of noise from the kitchen, too. Such a shame. Besides, it doesn't seem like a "real" Günay to me, because they didn't even have Adana kebab, and all the staff spoke Syrian? Oh well.

Burger no salt, wings taste like they've been sitting in the display case for a hundred years and the fries with the war sauce didn't even have onions

I can say for sure that they have the best hot wings and chicken! This is way better than KFC. It's a shame they're not nearby, otherwise I would definitely be here every day. Truly top-notch!

Successful with flying colors. The chicken was really tasty, well-seasoned, juicy, and you got a lot of it. And the best part? Cheap. The kind of prices that make you wonder if they even realize it. It was nice and quiet inside; you could just sit back and eat without the noise. And as if that wasn't enough: free sauces. Yes, all of them. No hassle with 50 cents per container of garlic sauce – just grab what you want and dip it like your life depends on it. But… let's be honest: it was full of men. Lots of men. So much so that, as a woman, you kind of feel like you shouldn't be able to laugh or breathe without being noticed. The food makes up for a lot, but that awkward feeling was still there. 📍 Conclusion: For tasty, cheap chicken and a quiet place to sit, this is the place to be. A dirty, customer unfriendly business. I don't want to waste more words on it.

Then you've lived in the neighbourhood for 20 years, and you come back to see pigeons and herons flying towards you around the eateries. Günay Burger not only looks bad from the outside because of all the birdlife, but it's not much better inside. The fried rice with Thai chicken (little that the Thai can identify with) was acceptable. The dirt on the table, windows and decoration was not. I don't think the NVWA (Inspection Service for Goods) should make a surprise visit here. On request, someone comes to 'clean' the tables, not with a damp cloth and cleaning agent, but with some paper from the machine. No, this was a one-off.

Recently I enjoyed the hot wings menu and chicken kapsalon, I was really impressed! Both dishes were incredibly tasty and it was noticeable that everything was prepared fresh and quickly. The hot wings were perfectly seasoned and deliciously crispy. I will definitely come back here for more.

Old fries, bad service + pigeons flying around inside… (very unhygienic) But money back because they forgot something with your order?.. not that! You sell chicken & fries and your attitude! For someone who doesn't wash his hands but knows how to eat leftovers from his nose, I don't think the attitude is very appropriate! Sorry, but shouting at me while your fresh food is cold doesn't work for me!... and emailing Google because you want it removed isn't going to work this time! take a course or something...

Bad service and upon entering an employee was shouting at the top of my lungs, I order chicken and the hair salon laughs in my face while they speak their own language. I ask what's so funny and his colleague laughs at me even harder! I don't think this is possible. I then waited for my food for half an hour and no one remembered my order. I ask where my order is and he says shh.. still I ask my college, his answer was: here your money back and throw it on the counter! This is the first time I've experienced this! Bad service and I hate to say this but they should be closed down. No excuse, this is simply not possible!

I rarely write a review, but I couldn't let this experience go unnoticed. I had ordered a dish to eat in the restaurant, but unexpectedly had to decide to take it with me. When I communicated this change to the employee, I received an irritated response. When I explained my reason, the response remained equally unfriendly. In addition, I was informed that the portion in the package would be smaller because it was originally intended for a dish and would otherwise contain more salad. I thought this was a strange reasoning, because a portion should be the same, regardless of whether you eat there or take it away. No effort was made to compensate for this. Moreover, in the end it turned out that there was no salad at all. The food itself was unfortunately also disappointing. The nasi had a plastic-like texture, was dry and tasteless. The chicken curry consisted mainly of fat and was insufficiently seasoned. All in all a very disappointing experience both in terms of service and quality of food.

Ordered a cheeseburger, super dry bun, not edible, burger itself was good, terrace outside very dirty because of all the birds, unappetizing. A quick wipe over with a high-pressure spray won't do any harm.

I take yesterday from them two kapslon and I request to staff to make some spicy but when I reached home it was dry chicken with old fries no taste at All waisted of money I even can't eat, the person was taking orders not listening properly was busy to take the orders and payment really bad service..

The food is what you expect to find in a snackbar. Somehow it's more attractive than other snackbars nearby, so it's almost always busy. Can be loud and also dirty, depends on the amount of customers inside. No special dishes to recommend, it's pretty regular (low quality) chicken taste. Good if you're hungry. Not good if you like healthy food.

Ik kom hier altijd, en 1 ding waarin zij onderscheid maken: ze zijn super vlot. Naast dat ze vriendelijk zijn, toppers zijn en het eten ronduit heerlijk is. Ik kom hier heel vaak vanuit Oost en dat is het waard ook! Ze vroegen ons ook nog of we hotwings vanuit het huis wouden meenemen, maar we zaten al redelijk vol. Maar ook dat is een klein maar toch mooi gebaar.
