Nice place, the pizzas are very tasty, but we didn't think the high tea was that great. For 28 euros per person, we expected fresher and better products, but the cakes were definitely not of the highest quality, which is a shame.

The staff is very friendly, but the food is mediocre. We tried the cannoli, but we seriously doubt they were homemade. They tasted strange, not very fresh, and very sweet... very disappointing.

Italian restaurant and ice cream parlor in the heart of Princenhage. You can enjoy delicious food at a very affordable price. The ice cream is homemade and truly delicious. Highly recommended.

Delicious Italian restaurant in Princenhage. Friendly staff too.

Several things were really dirty. The cutlery wasn't clean, the container it was served in was dirty, and several spots throughout the restaurant were also dirty. The appetizers took over 45 minutes to be served after we inquired about their whereabouts. One of the pizzas served during the main course was incredibly cold. They initially wanted to reheat it with burrata and arugula on top. We told them this wasn't acceptable and that we wanted a new one. Before we even got home, both diners had stomach problems. The rest of the dishes tasted fine.

We had pizza outside. It's on the street, but there's not much traffic, so it's a nice, cozy atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful evening with two friends. The efficient and friendly waitress escorted us to our reserved table at the back of the restaurant. Beautiful photos on the wall, and what a space if you enjoy unique buildings. The menu is extensive, and we chose various antipasti dishes. Delicious burrata and arancini. The vitello tonato is a bit sparing with the sauce, which is a shame. We had a bottle of sparkling water and wine with it. A second round of orders was also quickly taken, and the waitress gave us another recommendation. She hadn't exaggerated. Ice cream from the display case for dessert. 't Aogje has a beautiful and good restaurant! Highly recommended. Reservations are required!

Got a steak sandwich for lunch, great service, but the sandwich was very small and the meat had almost no taste.

My wife and I had never been to Princenhage before, but Gusto di Pol was recommended to us, so we went there for dinner. It was pleasantly busy on the terrace and in the restaurant, which was a good sign. We started with a Prosecco and then ordered our appetizer and main course. My wife had the tomato bruschetta and I had the bruschetta with smoked tuna and orange oil. What delicious appetizers these were! Both the tomato and smoked tuna not only looked fantastic but tasted great too. Full of flavor and, combined with the oil on top, a real treat. The delicious slice of sourdough bread it was served on top was a perfect finishing touch. For my main course, I had the pizza Diavola, which was topped with various types of spicy salami. Delicious! And the crust was perfectly baked. Not too hard, not too soft. Just as it should be. My wife had the pizza Gorgonzola e Pera. A delicious combination of gorgonzola and pear. Very tasty and, once again, rich in flavor and well-combined! We enjoyed some very good wines with the dishes. For dessert, we had a piece of tiramisu and an ice cream cake. We found the latter nothing special, but it was certainly okay. The tiramisu lacked some coffee and liquor, making it a bit flat. Too much vanilla flavor. A shame. The coffee we had with it was good, though. Furthermore, we found the atmosphere in the restaurant not very cozy or inviting in terms of decor. And it was very noisy. The service was excellent.

Delicious food, good coffee and great ice cream!

Nice place and the food is excellent value for money. The service is very friendly, but it happens far too often that I sit on the patio for 15 minutes and get no attention. Then I walk inside to order, and there are four people behind the counter. Either serve outside and instruct the staff to look outside occasionally, or just leave a sign outside saying "order inside."

This is a really lovely and delicious restaurant. We had pizza and salads here in the evening, which were all delicious. You can tell they have a great respect for Italian cuisine. The ice cream afterward (all homemade) was also delicious. The best part was the incredibly friendly service. I hope to be able to go back.

Expected more. Unfortunately not fulfilled. Small lunch menu with few vegetarian options (these are also not distinguished by a V). And if there are also spelling errors on the menu... then the "Italian" is quickly gone for me.

Went for lunch at Gusto Di Pol. Went for dinner last week which was very tasty, so decided to try the lunch menu as well. Unfortunately this was a big disappointment. When ordering the sandwiches, we were not asked what kind of bread we would like, so we got a ciabatta which was very small. It would have been more like a ciabattina. The sandwiches had minimal toppings, and the toppings on the sandwiches were not fresh. The rib eye was tough and almost seemed to have been heated up in a microwave. Jalapeño mayonnaise was also not present on this sandwich. When paying, we were not asked if the food tasted good. It was an impersonal experience. Feedback was given to the staff about the lunch, including with regard to the rib eye sandwich, but this was responded to briefly. It is a shame that guests are treated this way, and the staff is very impersonal. I couldn't eat half of the rib eye sandwich because of the toughness of the meat, and the staff didn't respond to this. Too bad!

Top; location, people, quality of the offer. In this case: a mini ice cream. So nice when something like that is included in the assortment. Yummy! By the way: a visit is more than worth it in this picturesque Princenhage. Truly unique.

It was great to discover this nice place. We know Breda city center by now (it's still nice) so I found this nice place on Google. We had a delicious cake at Gusto Di Pol, made with love and you can taste it! The Tiramisu cake is really recommended! 😋 And the young lady who helped us was very friendly and really enjoyed her work. The location is also super nice! 😍 Nice square, surrounded by beautiful historic buildings, shops, a few cafes, supermarkets and a bookstore. Ps. definitely stop by the Indonesian shop afterwards. It's so cute!

Great Deli restaurant with nice beer

Wow..! Today we had a delicious meal in this super nice restaurant. Ate pizza like you can only eat it in Italy! So so fresh and delicious! And what a nice and nice boy our waiter was! Because of him we enjoyed this wonderful evening even more! So hospitable and cozy. A big compliment and definitely recommended to go here.

We ate here for the first time today. The atmosphere of the business is really good, location on the terrace with sun. The service is friendly and smooth. The pizzas are okay, but not very richly topped in terms of ingredients. Big enough and well prepared. Just the ice. We have already had a lot of ice cream, including real Italian ice cream in Italy, but we both just threw away the mango ice cream from here. Think production error, but there was no mango flavor. What a shame, because there are many good ice cream shops nowadays, but this ice cream was not to our taste.

Delicious pizza. The service was a bit poor, but the pizza made up for this shortcoming. Unfortunately, tomato soup is not permanently on the menu, and the soup made of white vegetables was sweet and not particularly spiced.

The pizza was small enough to eat the whole thing. Everything was delicious. The dining was slow paced and cozy. You must stop here if you're looking for a nice relaxing and delicious dinner.

Delicious food and fast service

May sound a bit exaggerated, but perhaps one of the greatest reliefs in Breda. The food is of top quality, the staff is friendly and helpful and, last but not least, the price is just right! We come there regularly and will continue to do so!

Went by for breakfast at 11:30 am. Of the 5 things on the menu, half were not available, but making a sandwich for 11.30 "is really not possible". After waiting 45 minutes for our breakfast, we left and went for a sandwich further down the road. 2 stars because the coffee was tasty

One of the best ice creams I've ever had. Just not the horns. So better out of the container.

The two of us enjoyed the Serata Italiana. The antipasti: 'tuna trio' was great, the pasta: 'ravioli with spinach, ricotta and oyster mushrooms' was delicious. (Upon inquiry, the pasta turned out to be homemade). Good filling with delicious soft butter on top. We took both the vegetarian version of the primi: 'pasta with grilled vegetables and spicy aioli' and the meat version: 'tagliatta di manzo' and shared it together. We were both very enthusiastic about this. We were very enthusiastic about the dolce: 'ricotta mousse with strawberries and balsamic vinegar'. We went home with a good feeling and a well-filled stomach, but we will definitely come back.

We were served nicely at the table. We felt very welcome. The restaurant looks very nice and cozy. You can even buy Italian products there. We asked if they could do something for my brother's birthday. They came to the table with the whole team singing. A very nice experience!

Delicious pizzas in a nice place! We were helped very well by the clear and polite staff! The prices were very reasonable! A main course and dessert came to just over 20 euros for all of us. The restaurant has a nice Italian atmosphere with Italian articles and posters. All in all a beautiful gem that is only 2 years old!

We have rarely had such delicious food. Early in the evening the cook was willing to make another high wine for us. Five delicious dishes with five wonderfully matching wines. A pleasure for the eyes and a caress for our taste buds. We are quite critical when it comes to food and wine, but we couldn't find a single point of criticism here. Exquisite! The service was also attentive, friendly and helpful. What a pearl in Breda. My wife got a tour so she could see where they make their own ice cream and chocolate. The interior exuded the Italian atmosphere. The chairs and benches were comfortable. In short, in one word: AMAZING We recommend everyone with taste to be pampered here. Oh yes, the price wasn't too bad either 🤗

On reference I went to this place for ordering ice cake 🎂 though I did not buy as my timings to order were not correct but we tried ice cream 🍦 and it was super delicious 😋 also it was houseful with pizzas 🍕 overflowing and making it tempting

The ice cream is really delicious. The food (although we only tried the pizzas) is also very tasty. Only sometimes the filling is a bit sparse, and there is often a very large border without cheese. Staff are always friendly. Menu is limited but that's fine. I would just like to see more vegetarian pizzas or menu options.

Pretty tasty pizza, but the pizza all'aglio (garlic pizza) was really not tasty and no one ate it. An obvious taste of garlic powder instead of fresh garlic. Strange taste and soft substance as a topping.

Got a delicious sandwich nice employees good packaging too. elsewhere where I got hot rolls it was packed too tightly, causing the bread to wilt. Here, on the other hand, I was warned that the bread might become soft, but the airy paper wrapping helped a lot and it remained nice and crispy! that leaves you wanting more!

Kerst high tea gedaan met een vriendin. Erg goed verzorgd, lekker brood en heerlijke lekkernijen. Enige minpuntje: bij een high tea verwacht ik zowel meer soorten thee als bijzondere theetjes.

High tea is super. Vriendelijke bediening en aan koffie of thee geen gebrek.

Veruit het beste Italiaanse restaurant waar we ooit hebben gegeten. De ingrediënten zijn vers en alle etenswaren worden prachtig geserveerd. De bediening is gepassioneerd en snel. In de vitrines liggen overheerlijke Italiaanse desserts, ijs en gebakjes die je absoluut moet nuttigen. Hier komen we zeker terug.
