Reparola -the pasta bar- in Breda oost

We ate here again a few weeks ago. A friend recommended it. We think Reparola is a great spot for a date night! 🍝 It's a shame we hadn't tried it before. The atmosphere and location were fantastic! 🌱I got matching wines with my dishes, and they all paired beautifully. 🍷We'd love to come back again. Thanks!

In a word: fantastic. True lovers of Italian cuisine will experience the ultimate here. Charming decor and ambiance. Hospitality and expertise are paramount here. Reasonable pricing. A visit to this acclaimed venue is therefore highly recommended. Prepare to be amazed, and you certainly won't regret it.

The decor and ambiance made a lovely first impression, a nice touch of vintage, and immediately evoked a sense of Italian charm. The menu was seasonal and small but appealing (which, in my opinion, is a good thing, as it allows them to maintain high quality). The service was prompt and friendly. The food (antipasti, pasta ragu, and affogato) was delicious. They pay close attention to quality, and you can taste and see it. We will definitely be back.

Delicious food and nice service

An oasis of calm in the city, you feel like you're in an Italian Corte (courtyard). Fantastic food, short wine list with delicious wines. I'm just missing the promised serenade ;-)

Charming restaurant. We've been here before. It's striking that the antipasti hardly contains any cold cuts like prosciutto or salami, and also fewer cheeses. Instead, there are many more vegetables. And that too at a higher price. To our dismay, three dishes we had chosen were unavailable, including the Tartare di Manzo and the Mousse alla Vaniglia. A real disappointment. The Tiramisu consisted almost entirely of mascarpone cream! Not as it should be. We asked for an explanation and received it from the friendly staff, who compensated us with free coffee. Fine, but this was our last time.

Great food, very friendly staff, a very nice place, especially in good weather when you can sit outside in the back (you wouldn't think so from the front). Restrooms are downstairs and very clean. With an open kitchen, you can easily walk past your dishes and see everything being freshly prepared. Good value for money, although a bit more expensive than the standard eateries in the rest of the city. It's also a good idea to include this in your Breda wine and food route.

Top avond gehad! De bediening was heel vriendelijk, attent en professioneel. Het eten was heerlijk en mooi gepresenteerd. De sfeer was warm en gezellig, je voelt je meteen op je gemak. We hebben echt genoten en komen graag nog eens terug!

The food was truly delicious. The atmospheric interior and friendly staff made sure we had a fantastic evening. You don't often find such excellent staff in the hospitality industry anymore!

Had a great meal at Reparola. We were a group of 7 and had a nice spot outside on the upper terrace. There was something for everyone, compliments to the kitchen! The wines were also very tasty. There is a very cozy atmosphere. The service was great, gave you all the time to choose, let your pace slow down and were there at exactly the right time every time. Really recommended if you want to have a wonderful evening dining!

Ordered pasta bolognaise with cheese and arugula. Tasted great. Unfortunately not much cheese and exactly 8 leaves of arugula. A bit exaggerated. Shame

A hidden gem! Very attractive place with a lovely terrace at the rear. We had various appetizers beforehand; the squid was very tasty, as well as the carpaccio with basil. Tasty, non-standard pastas and delicious wine. The service was very pleasant; a smile on everyone's face and being addressed as 'you'! Big plus. Highly recommended!

Fried squid with squid ink mayonnaise was tasty, the pasta with shrimp was also tasty. Very friendly staff.

We ate here last Saturday with the 5 of us. Was a mediocre experience. We were also cold and the door to the outside was always open. The food was mediocre and the price quality poor. Second star because we didn't have to pay for the dish that had a piece of plastic in it (which was nice) and the waitress was nice.

Had dinner at Reparola for the first time for Valentine's Day. What a nice, atmospheric and delicious restaurant this is! When we walked in, we were greeted by practically everyone on staff. We were then taken to our table and we saw how nice and attractively decorated the restaurant was. You don't see that very often anymore. As a starter we both had the carpaccio with a delicious robust red wine. The carpaccio was rich in flavor and generously topped. Truly one of the better carpaccios we have ever had. As a main course I had the pasta Ossobucco and my wife the pasta bolognese. Both generous portions, no skimping on meat and very tasty. Finally, of course, dessert. And I believe that when you visit a new (to me) Italian for the first time, you should really just check out the tiramisu. And let's be honest: it was fine, but had too much mascarpone and not enough ladyfingers with coffee. This made it a bit 'watery' in taste. Too bad because that unfortunately makes this the least of the 3 dishes. We finished with a cocktail. I had the Negroni and my wife an Espresso Martini. The 'Esma' was a bit weak in taste, but the Negroni was tasty. Furthermore, the service was very friendly. We received our food quickly, but with each course the boy serving asked us if we wanted to wait or if the next course could come already. Correctly. Highly recommend this charming place!

Heerlijke lunch met een Ossobucco en een pasta hertenstoof. Mooi restaurant, lekker licht in de serre, heerlijke Italiaanse muziek, lekkere wijn. Wat wil je nog mee op een winterse zondag lunch. Een dikke 10 wat ons betreft👍

We had a delicious meal here, tasty pasta and the desserts were better than expected. The building is very attractive, but the toilet is difficult to reach due to a nasty staircase. There is nothing you can do about this, just hold on to the handrail.

Beautiful location, very attractive with a view of the garden. The service is friendly, but it quickly became too busy (Thursday evening), so you end up with empty glasses for a long time. The food was fine, not very special but tasty.

Nothing special, food was fine but not great. Prices were on the expensive side for what we got. My friend ordered a large portion and I the small one.. He ended up getting the same portion as what I got, while we paid more for his portion? Very crazy

Beautiful and cozy place with very nice and attentive service and a nice menu. The dishes were ok but unfortunately not more than that. I chose the pasta with stewed fennel and fennel sauce. Unfortunately, mainly pasta and only a single sliver of fennel and a few pieces of sausage. Shame. I also had the impression that the plates/portions have become a lot smaller than before.

28-8 ate here with the two of us. Not knowing what to expect, I ordered the Pasta Gamberetti. A positive surprise! Delicious food, luxurious appearance and excellent staff.

Ambience is beautiful and good service. Food is tasty but not special and pricey for what you get. Arancinas should not be the size of a bitterbal and were not tasty. And certainly no truffle mayo! Pasta gamberetti was good. Bolognese too. Tiramisu tasty but a bit thin.

Reparola is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in Breda. Besides the food, which is particularly tasty and fresh, and the cozy and beautiful restaurant itself, the service also surprised me: Before we arrived, I quickly called to ask about Hallal options, because the person who accompanied us strictly takes this into account. The meat was not halal, but there are plenty of vegetarian and fish choices, it was confirmed. Once we ordered our food in the restaurant itself, I did not mention this again. Yet the waiter/owner made the connection that it was me who had called about this. When the prawn dish was served, she quickly mentioned that they normally prepare the prawns with wine and had now done this with water (because alcohol is not halal either). I was surprised by this service and the fact that this was thought through so quickly and carefully. Cheers.

Wij komen regelmatig. Prijs/kwaliteit top. Personeel bereidwillig en altijd vriendelijk. Wijnglazen mooi en lekker vol. Inrichting fantastisch . Ik zeg dien

Zeer mooi ingerichte ambiance, mooie glazen kamoen bestek, lekker weer dus tuin deur open naar een afgeschermd terras, prima kaart, voldoende keus in anti pasta en hoofdgerecht, lekkere wijn erbij.

Cosy place, delicious Italian food, probably the most refined vitello tonato I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend this place when you’re in Breda. Note, however, that it’s more popular for dinner. For lunch, you typically don’t require a reservation.

We are fans ... special atmosphere both inside and outside on the terrace where we were surprised by the beautiful trees and park-like tranquility ... but the pasta surpasses everything mmmmm. Also had a delicious meal again in April 2024! Still the same top level..

Best pasta in town. We had 4 different ones and all 4 were excellent! The Bambino for the youngest, the prawns and squid pasta for the oldest, and we ossobuco and eggplant... It seems like a small plate, but it's really enough! Great service and nice atmosphere. Went again this evening (12/8/'23), enjoyed nice prosecco and snacks outside (before) in the sun, then inside top pasta and good wine (Primitivo). Still highly recommended! 23/3/'24 the pasta with deer and the pasta with pumpkin (with cheese other than gorgonzola requested) accompanied by the Primitivo (deer) and Chardonnay (pumpkin) continuous quality!

Cosy, tasty and busy. Too bad we ran out of sambucca. And the osso bucco was also gone. But despite those minor disappointments, we still had a delicious and enjoyable meal.

Lovely restaurant, aesthetically pleasing interior design, attractive bar. Food was all fresh & made to order. Limited seating, about 20 tables. They close at 9 PM, not 11. I would arrive by 7 pm to have enough time to eat & enjoy. Will definitely be returning. Tasty & refreshing cocktails 🍸

Nice smooth service, food was very tasty and good. Nice atmosphere, but if you are unlucky you will sit a little close to another table... What negative points in my opinion was the pasta dish that you were served in a pan, which makes no sense and is really not pleasant to eat. Looks nice, but it's really impractical to eat out. And I thought the starter was quite pricey, €28 for a plate of anitpasti to share with 2 people. Price is very out of proportion to what you get.

We never actually do it, but Reparola was a letdown. We are used to something because we live in Tuscany half the year and have eaten in many good Italian restaurants in the Netherlands, but these pastas are certainly not prepared the Italian way. Service was nice, no love for the food, knew little. Ordered wine. Choice of 4 red wines. The first three come from Puglia and Sicily. Pretty good wine but price per bottle is X4 purchase. But that's their right. Antipasti starter for two: big disappointment with even blue cheese on it. Sparse with meats and ham is certainly not Parma ham let alone San Daniele ham. Tastes like nothing. Not fresh either. One piece of cheese for each and not even pecorino. The mushrooms were tasty. No bread served. Then the main course…. Pasta not fresh, one greasy, the other too dry as to what is in the preparation. Ingredients not fresh either. I myself got 'intestinal complaints' afterwards. Price-quality ratio is also lacking, 110 euros for a meager antipasti platter, two pastas (almost eaten because we were hungry, but not tasty, but nice served in a pan...), 3 glasses of red wine, glass of ginger beer, bottle of Pellegrino, espresso and tea... The front bar is nicely done with many bottles of Pellegrino, it looks colorful, as does the decor. And the staff is also beautifully dressed, in black and white, it must be said. Very tasty food, nice atmosphere, beautifully decorated place and above all wonderfully quiet on the day we were there.

Lovely restaurant with a cosy dimmed atmosphere and tasteful Italian-themed but yet modern decoration. I had the tartufo pasta — deliciously creamy, not too strong of a truffle taste and good portion — and the tiramisu — also very tasty and well-sized. The service is very friendly.

We hadden een familydiner met 6 personen. Leuke ronde tafel achter in de zaak zorgden voor intimiteit. De sfeer en vlot personeel vielen helemaal in de smaak bij onze dochters van 26. Hip&happening dus. We begonnen met een antipasti wat zorgden voor een ware smaakexplosie. Fles wijn, water en fris voor de BOB. Daarna verschillende pasta's allemaal even bijzonder. Truffelpasta, ossobuco en vijg. ( sorry was te gefocust op mijn eigen bordje dat ik niet alles heb gezien) Afgesloten met een dessert, koffie en thee. #makingmemories #italianfood

(Te) pretentieus restaurant met leuke en attente bediening die qua eten zwaar achterblijft bij de gewekte verwachting. Zeer matige kwaliteit in kleine porties. Vooral de zeer 'waterige' tiramisu is geen aanrader. Geen aanrader, in Breda kun je echt beter eten. Aanvullende info: dag later nogmaals 'plezier' gehad van het eten. Iets in bereiding is zeker niet goed gegaan. Jammer, ik had graag een betere review achter gelaten.

Great restaurant to go to! I was eager to find a good restaurant for a good pasta. The location is lovely, you can park near by and the parking is around 3€ per hour. The restaurant is nice and cosy, having beautiful seating inside but also outside, great ambience lighting and lovely music in the background. I just loved the details in this restaurant, loved the silver cutleries and the beautiful glasses. The serving was nice, they were very kind and also fast. The food is delicious, the starters/appetizer were very nice! Highly recommend to try the olives. The pasta was good, the perfect quantity, I had the truffle pasta which I just loved! The deserts were also good and delicious. Overall is a nice place to go and enjoy dinner, I recommend it and will definitely come back.

Heerlijk Italiaans eten. Laat je verrassen door de kaart met pasta's, heerlijke wijnen en traditionele apparativen.

Ich habe so vom Geschmack der Tintenfisch- Spaghetti, mit Garnelen, Parmesan..... genossen. Dazu ein guter Wein empfohlen bekommen, es war sehr schön in der Pasta Bar.

Afgelopen zaterdagmiddag toevallig langsgelopen. Gehele zaak was leeg, vol voor in de avond. Door een vriendelijke medewerkster geholpen. Zowel de pasta als de nagerechten smaakten heerlijk. Zeker een aanrader! Groetjes vanuit Rotterdam

Immediately become one of those places you know you will come back often. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. The tiramisu was great and I wish they had take away options for it.

Geweldig leuke en aardige serveerder, het eten was echt heerlijk en het was een super gezellig tuintje om in te eten in het zonnetje!

Leuke sfeervolle plek met, zoals de naam van het restaurant al aangeeft, uitsluitend pasta's voor het hoofdgerecht. Aardige dames in de bediening. Het is geen klassieke italiaan, maar daarom zeker niet minder lekker.

Everything was amazing, the place is cozy, warm, and nice. I prefer if there was a little bit much more space between the tables but I didn't find it annoying since it was not crowded when we went there. the service it 10/10, the food is so good, you really can't get enough of it and the best thing is the wine, it was so good.

Tolles Essen, aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung, nettes Ambiente und faire Preise.

Yummie! Als je van pasta houdt zeker een keertje gaan eten! Bediening is heel attent en gezellig, het eten zálig en de locatie is top! De antipasti, pasta gamberetti en de torta limone: nomnomnom😋. Wij komen zeker vaker terug, bedankt Reparolo!

Nice dishes in a lovely atmosphere

Echt een feestje om hier te eten. We zijn er al vaker geweest, echt ons favoriete plekje om te eten. Fijne sfeer, leuk interieur, lieve mensen en ook echt heerlijk eten. De prijs is super, je kan uitpakken dan ben je per persoon met voor, hoofd, na, wijn en cocktail rond 70€ kwijt. Maar je kan er ook rond 20€ kwijt zijn met hoofd en wijntje. Echt super!!

Super mooie zaak met zeer vakkundige bediening. Fenne en Fé zorgen voor een uitermaat beste service en Yannick heeft ons eten bereid met meer passie dan we ooit hadden verwacht. Keep it up! Meer mensen moeten weten van dit fantastische restaurant!
