We eat here regularly and it is always great. We’ve had many different dishes and everything is delicious. Super sweet family, the chef always does his best to make something different from what we’ve already had. We are big fans of the surprise menu. They are fun nights out when we go to Girasole!!

We had a truly delicious meal and enjoyed ourselves, and the staff were super friendly. We will definitely be eating here more often. 10/10!

I think the pizza here tastes pretty bad. The sauce is sour and not flavourful. The topping ratio was everything but harmonious. Ordered a “spicy” Diavola, but it was covered in bell peppers, making the pizza way too sweet. The dough was the only thing acceptable about the pizza, that’s why 2 stars.

Yesterday we had a fantastic evening at this beautiful, intimate restaurant just outside the center of Breda. Upon arrival, we were given the most beautiful table in the restaurant, because the owner had already remarked during my reservation that it would be a special evening for us. And it certainly turned out to be! The service, the food, and the ambiance were of a level I have rarely encountered. We had a delicious meal: steak tartare, crispy sweetbreads, turbot fillet… finger-licking good. We ended up being the last guests, but not for a single moment did we feel the need to leave. Luca, Christina, and colleagues: thank you so much for this special evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a romantic, authentic Italian culinary experience!

As an Italian, I admit I'm always very picky when it comes to our cuisine, especially when it comes to seafood. Well, here I rediscovered true quality and the authentic flavors of home! We had seafood dinner and I was truly amazed by the high quality of the ingredients. The fish was exceptionally fresh, treated and cooked with a mastery that enhances its flavors without ever overpowering them, exactly as our finest culinary tradition demands. You can immediately tell the obsessive attention to detail goes into selecting the ingredients. In addition to the extraordinary food, the atmosphere is welcoming, and we had a wonderful time from start to finish, thanks to the impeccable and warm service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly top-notch Italian gastronomic experience. Kudos to the entire staff; we'll definitely be back!

We had a really delicious meal tonight; they pair the 4-course dinner perfectly with the most delicious wines, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and quiet.

Atmospheric place, delicious red wine, and an extensive wine and food menu. Started with a tasty warm bread roll with olive oil, top-notch. The main course was pasta with mushrooms and beef tenderloin tips, very tasty. Pleasant service. Dessert was tiramisu; parts were very tasty, but the lamb fingers portion was a bit too watery. Last night we once again enjoyed the delicious, authentic Italian dishes and the friendly hospitality with excellent service. Girasole by Luca's Kitchen remains highly recommended!

We regularly pick up pasta or pizza here to take home. Always a treat! There are also good options for vegetarians, such as pasta con verdure, pizza girasole, or capricciosa.

Good food, but considering the price, you'd expect more service. Only two waitresses for the entire restaurant. As a result, I had to wait a few times, had to ask for the side dish, and more importantly, after finding a bone fragment almost 3 cm long in my pasta, I received no apology, excuse, or other kind gesture. Again: the food was good, but this could be better.

It really doesn't get any better than this. If you're looking for truly refined Italian food, Luca is the place to be. The chef himself is originally from Puglia, and that's reflected in the menu, which features dishes from his region. The hospitality of the staff is also worth mentioning.

Delicious food without any fuss – everything pure, fresh, and prepared with love ❤️. The scallops, tuna, truffle tagliatelle, and tournedos tagliata were all top-notch. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and a fantastic wine list 🍷. Chef Luca also takes the time to share wonderful stories about his travels and passion for cooking – a personal touch that makes it truly special. We drove over two hours for it, but it was more than worth it. We will definitely be back – this time for the pizzas! 🍕🇮🇹

A culinary experience at Luca’s Kitchen in Breda What a fantastic dinner! We had a truly outstanding meal at Luca’s Kitchen in Breda. From the very first moment, you could tell they use top-notch fresh ingredients and that the chef is a master of his craft. The incredibly fresh lobster, sea bass, and tuna were perfectly prepared – pure in flavor and with respect for the product. The tenderloin and veal were buttery-soft and literally melted in your mouth. Everything was accompanied by, among other things, a wonderful Negroamaro wine, which perfectly complemented the dishes. The service was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish – exactly what you want for an evening of culinary enjoyment without rushing. In short: a feast for the taste buds and a place where you feel that nothing is left to chance. We will definitely be back!

Awesome, authentic Italian kitchen, artisan, family-owned, fine-dine Restaurant. The city of Breda may not have dazzling sky-scrapers but they've got this wonderful place instead.

Girasole was fantastic again. Chef Luca and his family always create a wonderful evening. The food is fantastic, and the wines (including those from the menu) are top-notch. We had a delicious Barolo and let Luca create the dish for it. Fresh homemade carpaccio (something I don't normally order, but it's absolutely fantastic here), pasta with porcini mushrooms and truffles as a starter, and veal medallions with crispy fried sweetbreads for the main course. And then we finished with a typical Puglia dessert, "pasticcotto." A fantastic evening!

Everything at Girasole is top-notch. Whether you order takeout or eat in, the quality is superb. You can taste authentic Italian cuisine, and the staff will convey that when you visit. If you'd prefer something outside the city center, I'd always recommend Girasole.

Luca's Kitchen is an Italian gem in Breda. The dishes are really great in terms of taste and presentation. You can see that a lot of preparation goes into this. Luca regularly walks past the tables in his small restaurant and asks if everything is okay. His warm-hearted Cristine is the hostess. We ordered two excellent aperitifs, two different starters of the day, two main menus of the day and two deserts. And matching wine by the glass.

We get food from Restaurant Girasole a few times a year for a large family table. Every time we get so many compliments about the dishes. Luca plus family, thank you for the love and passion in your dishes, we enjoy it every time. :)

I had dinner at this fantastic restaurant with high standard Italian cuisine. Excellent preparation of dishes, fresh food and high quality. For those who love fish and those who love meat, it satisfies all palates. I also found a good variety of wines To end the dinner in style we drank an excellent drink. We were pleasantly surprised that we were unexpectedly able to go on Christmas Eve and order from the menu. Rarely have we eaten such delicious carpaccio, a big 10! The pizzas were also delicious. The service was friendly and professional. Parking is easy in the neighborhood/street of the restaurant. We will definitely come back again!

It's nice that it's not the standard selection like at random Italian restaurants. Here you can taste the creativity and love on your plate! There are also some vegetarian choices. Wasn't too busy when we were there and we liked that.

We ordered a daily menu (4 courses) and our requests were taken into account (no cheese). The wines we drank were absolutely excellent. However, the food was a bit average. Our favorite was the scallops and the tournedos was also tasty. As a dessert lover I was a bit disappointed in the cannelloni, not really a full-fledged dessert in my opinion. Also the reserved pasta with beef (?) was nice, but not great.

Food was very good. Price/quality was perfectly fine. What struck us is that it is actually a small space with many customers and therefore quite noisy. Certainly not disturbing, but it could be a little more atmospheric. All in all, highly recommended for a delicious dinner.

We hebben absoluut genoten van de subtiele gerechten waar de liefde voor de Italiaanse keuken van het bord afspat. Wat een klasse chef is eigenaar Luca! Mijn filetto di manzo met een verrukkelijke balsamico saus met uitjes was onwaarschijnlijk lekker. Heerlijk botermals, mooi gegarneerd. De volgende keer vraag ik brood erbij en de aardappels met parmazaan mogen dan in de keuken blijven. Een lekkere Barbaresco vervolmaakte de maaltijd. Prijs-kwaliteit zijn gegarandeerd in balans. Dank, we komen terug!

Lekker eten maar bijzonder hoe ik kan zien dat de prijzen zo enorm omhoog zijn gegaan. We spreken hier niet meer over €1 maar over een verhoging van €3 a €4 per gerecht! Dit heeft niks meer te maken met inflatie. Zie foto oude menu kaart. Uiteraard is de service en eten nog steeds in orde.

As an italian, I find this restaurant excellent. The food was really good, couldn’t be better. Also the menu is very interesting and I think you should add more things because I'm sure they'll be a 10/10. The waitresses were very nice and they also speak italian. Everything is clean and it's very cozy inside. This was my first time in the restaurant but I hope to come back soon. I definitely recommend it! Compliments to the Chef!
