It really doesn't get any better than this. If you're looking for truly refined Italian food, Luca is the place to be. The chef himself is originally from Puglia, and that's reflected in the menu, which features dishes from his region. The hospitality of the staff is also worth mentioning.

We were at Girasole in Breda on Halloween night 🎃 and it was amazing! I almost never write reviews, but this restaurant is more than worth it. Delicious food without any fuss – everything pure, fresh, and prepared with love ❤️. The scallops, tuna, truffle tagliatelle, and tournedos tagliata were all top-notch. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and a fantastic wine list 🍷. Chef Luca also takes the time to share wonderful stories about his travels and passion for cooking – a personal touch that makes it truly special. We drove over two hours for it, but it was more than worth it. We will definitely be back – this time for the pizzas! 🍕🇮🇹

A culinary experience at Luca’s Kitchen in Breda What a fantastic dinner! We had a truly outstanding meal at Luca’s Kitchen in Breda. From the very first moment, you could tell they use top-notch fresh ingredients and that the chef is a master of his craft. The incredibly fresh lobster, sea bass, and tuna were perfectly prepared – pure in flavor and with respect for the product. The tenderloin and veal were buttery-soft and literally melted in your mouth. Everything was accompanied by, among other things, a wonderful Negroamaro wine, which perfectly complemented the dishes. The service was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish – exactly what you want for an evening of culinary enjoyment without rushing. In short: a feast for the taste buds and a place where you feel that nothing is left to chance. We will definitely be back!

Awesome, authentic Italian kitchen, artisan, family-owned, fine-dine Restaurant. The city of Breda may not have dazzling sky-scrapers but they've got this wonderful place instead.

Girasole was fantastic again. Chef Luca and his family always create a wonderful evening. The food is fantastic, and the wines (including those from the menu) are top-notch. We had a delicious Barolo and let Luca create the dish for it. Fresh homemade carpaccio (something I don't normally order, but it's absolutely fantastic here), pasta with porcini mushrooms and truffles as a starter, and veal medallions with crispy fried sweetbreads for the main course. And then we finished with a typical Puglia dessert, "pasticcotto." A fantastic evening!

Everything at Girasole is top-notch. Whether you order takeout or eat in, the quality is superb. You can taste authentic Italian cuisine, and the staff will convey that when you visit. If you'd prefer something outside the city center, I'd always recommend Girasole.

Luca's Kitchen is an Italian gem in Breda. The dishes are really great in terms of taste and presentation. You can see that a lot of preparation goes into this. Luca regularly walks past the tables in his small restaurant and asks if everything is okay. His warm-hearted Cristine is the hostess. We ordered two excellent aperitifs, two different starters of the day, two main menus of the day and two deserts. And matching wine by the glass.

We get food from Restaurant Girasole a few times a year for a large family table. Every time we get so many compliments about the dishes. Luca plus family, thank you for the love and passion in your dishes, we enjoy it every time. :)

We were pleasantly surprised that we were unexpectedly able to go on Christmas Eve and order from the menu. Rarely have we eaten such delicious carpaccio, a big 10! The pizzas were also delicious. The service was friendly and professional. Parking is easy in the neighborhood/street of the restaurant. We will definitely come back again!

Wasn't too busy when we were there and we liked that.

We ordered a daily menu (4 courses) and our requests were taken into account (no cheese). The wines we drank were absolutely excellent. However, the food was a bit average. Our favorite was the scallops and the tournedos was also tasty. As a dessert lover I was a bit disappointed in the cannelloni, not really a full-fledged dessert in my opinion. Also the reserved pasta with beef (?) was nice, but not great.

Food was very good. Price/quality was perfectly fine. What struck us is that it is actually a small space with many customers and therefore quite noisy. Certainly not disturbing, but it could be a little more atmospheric. All in all, highly recommended for a delicious dinner.

We hebben absoluut genoten van de subtiele gerechten waar de liefde voor de Italiaanse keuken van het bord afspat. Wat een klasse chef is eigenaar Luca! Mijn filetto di manzo met een verrukkelijke balsamico saus met uitjes was onwaarschijnlijk lekker. Heerlijk botermals, mooi gegarneerd. De volgende keer vraag ik brood erbij en de aardappels met parmazaan mogen dan in de keuken blijven. Een lekkere Barbaresco vervolmaakte de maaltijd. Prijs-kwaliteit zijn gegarandeerd in balans. Dank, we komen terug!

As an italian, I find this restaurant excellent. The food was really good, couldn’t be better. Also the menu is very interesting and I think you should add more things because I'm sure they'll be a 10/10. The waitresses were very nice and they also speak italian. Everything is clean and it's very cozy inside. This was my first time in the restaurant but I hope to come back soon. I definitely recommend it! Compliments to the Chef!

Lekker eten maar bijzonder hoe ik kan zien dat de prijzen zo enorm omhoog zijn gegaan. We spreken hier niet meer over €1 maar over een verhoging van €3 a €4 per gerecht! Dit heeft niks meer te maken met inflatie. Zie foto oude menu kaart. Uiteraard is de service en eten nog steeds in orde.

What fantastic food you can eat in this authentic and atmospheric Italian restaurant. It even exceeded our expectations after reading all the positive reviews. We were a group of 6 and got a nice table in the wonderfully cool restaurant. Every dish is highly flavored and looks beautiful. The friendly and personal approach of the hostesses Cristina and her daughter makes you feel really welcome. What we also really liked was the flexibility, pasta dishes that were not on the menu were made a la minute by the chef for two of our table companions. Awesome! We enjoyed this piece of Italy in Breda. We came for the first time, but certainly not for the last. Exquisite!!

Pizzas are very tasty, but waiting 50 minutes for your pizza in a room where the staff are constantly swearing at each other is not my most pleasant experience. Hopefully you two have made up again.

We took tuna tartare and beef tartare (very good and fresh) Then some highly recommended orecchiette with mushrooms and meat and finally the Limoncello tiramisu which I must say that I preferred to the classic one. we hebben eerst een half uur moeten wachten tot we onze drankjes konden bestellen, vervolgens 80 minuten op de hoofdgerechten gewacht die in een paar happen op waren. en zo ging het aan alle tafels. de bediening overigens heel erg jong; 16 jaar oud, maximaal. al deze dingen zorgen ervoor dat je het gevoel hebt in het verkeerde restaurant je tijd te verdoen, wat erg zonde is voor zowel de kok als de klant. do better!

Girasole is right around the corner from our house; it is the "local", so to speak. It has always been pretty good, but, after Luca and his family took it over a few years ago, the bar has been raised. Substantially, at that. The menu now features fewer dishes, but they are creative takes on Italian classics or novel offerings in an Italian style. The other day, we had a shrimp cannelloni that was simply stunning. Fresh, delicious, frequently imported ingredients are the rule. Even the pizzas jumped in quality. They are thin crusted, with a bit of crunch, topped with a rich tomato sauce, the perfect quantity of mozzarella, and the (fresh) toppings of your choice. It is the best pizza in Breda, hands down. The wine list includes a lot of lovely Italian wines, including some that are truly top of the line.
