Guulke eten & drinken in Wijk 01 Nederweert

Unfortunately the kitchen didn't open until 11.30 so we only had coffee.

I ate at Guulke's today, and the steak salad was delicious. The spare ribs lacked flavor and weren't spicy as ordered. I also expect some vegetables or salad with dinner. After mentioning this to the waiter, all he got was "it's not on the menu."

A lovely spot for a delicious lunch. The service is fast, and the dishes are good and tasty.

Delicious spare ribs and the ladies enjoyed an excellent and buttery-tender steak, very tasty soup as a starter and the delicious pastry for dessert is also recommended, we will definitely be back!

My husband and I waited at the table for more than 40 minutes, and when the waitress finally arrived, an older lady, she first talked about her new concept.

The menu doesn't offer many vegetarian options, but what they do have is delicious. I ordered focaccia with mushrooms and a cheese salad. Kudos to the kitchen! The staff is friendly and regularly asks if everything is to your liking and if you'd like any drinks. We had a lovely lunch; we'll definitely be back.

Cozy restaurant with a sunny terrace and informal atmosphere. Whipped cream with coffee in an ice cream cone :) A wonderful stop on the way home from our vacation. Excellent restroom facilities, friendly service.

Yesterday we had dinner with the 2 of us. What a disappointment and on your birthday. Unfriendly staff, very noisy. And then you order meat with a salad in a super small bowl that the two of you have to share? If 1 person takes a scoop once, it's gone. What a mockery. No, that was the last time

delicious food and drinks. we were here on July 4, 2021. friendly and fast service. We both had a healthy sandwich. 2 slices of bread (fortunately not those thick chunks you get at some places) cheese, ham and salad. everything fine. Paid € 28.95 incl. 1 white wine and 2 Leffe double. Update. March 24, 2025. Had lunch here again. We now went for the goulash croquettes and the soup of the day. Everything was perfect again. Also the service. Until next time.

Relative to last time the food deteriorated. Didn't receive what I ordered and when I indicated this I got the answer that I want something too. Also piece of meat on the small side. Dessert quality disappointment. Not worth repeating as this was not the first time it was disappointing.

Always tasty and pleasant. Friendly staff now had to wait a little longer than we are used to. But remains a nice place for lunch. Tip: maybe ask how you want the eggs fried, we found them a bit too frisky (the white was still glassy here and there)

Had a delicious meal at Guulke's. Price/quality is perfectly fine. I also like that there are regularly different dishes, a changing menu. Of course a few dishes that are standard. I can recommend everything on the menu. Simply tastes excellent. We like coming here and will come back again.

Went for a drink at the fair last night. The service was truly a mockery. First we had to move twice because the mop water would come onto the terrace. They start scrubbing when people are still sitting on the terrace drinking something, which I don't think is appropriate. Anyway, we had to move the table twice ourselves. It took a very long time for someone to come who had a very long face and didn't feel like doing the work. When her colleague came with the order, we said this in a funny way and got a snarl that she had already been working for 5 days... What is going on with our catering industry. I think you will have a lot more fun if you make sure you enjoy it yourself... Then your customers will also have a nice evening and you will go home with a smile ;-)

We used to like coming there, but not anymore. After that I was given a dressed cup of cappuccino due to an error by the service. To which it was later said that you can have your skirt dry cleaned at our expense. The ice that was on my skirt and in the meantime the ground was not cleared away. I just sat on the other side of the table. When we went to pay, the gentleman asked if everything had been satisfactory, to which I replied, well, I didn't like that cappuccino poured over me. He then said you can have it dry cleaned and that was no compensation at all at that time. He was also surly and not friendly. Never again for us.

I lived in Nederweert for years and always came here with satisfaction. Recently visited with my wife and baby and had a less positive experience here. I asked for 150cc for making baby food and I got 130cc. When paying, I only noticed that the spa was turned blue instead of the requested tap water. What happened to the remainder of the water (the bottles are larger than the 130cc received) is a mystery to us.

Delicious, tender steak in a cozy environment with very friendly and enthusiastic service. House wines were also tasty.

As a surprise we went to Guulke. What a surprise. Bert. The waiter looked like Bert. But Ernie was ernie 🤣🤣!!!! There were radios on the wall but no music, there goes your 5 stars.

Cozy restaurant. Not discussed on a Saturday but still a spot and that is rare. Fish skewer was a bit dry but my friend's steak was super tender. Vegetables are delicious, just a little too much sauce. The bread beforehand was nicely presented, but I wouldn't put a regular sandwich in it. White baked bread could also be better. The spreads were very tasty.

Yesterday 10-01-24, we wanted to have lunch at Guulke, 2 people. We were not allowed to sit by the window even though there were many places available and not reserved! We had to go into a corner on the walkway! We didn't feel like doing that. Waitress said, while looking at her tablet, that we should go then...?!!! So we went to Kleine Winst and had a delicious lunch with very friendly staff. We will NEVER come to GUULKE AGAIN!!!

Nice location, easily accessible, ample parking and friendly staff. Something for everyone on the menu: meat, fish and vegetarian. I chose tomato soup and chicken satay, which was served with fries and a small salad. There was no room left for desert. No hassle and delicious food!

Voor deze horecazaak ligt hun mooi, groot terras en binnen hebben ze een industriële look. Ze serveren voortreffelijke spareribs (onze favoriet), salades en visgerechten. Verder hebben ze een vrij grote bierkaart met speciaal bieren.

Het is er gezellig druk, maar desondanks snel geholpen en niet lang hoeven wachten op het eten.

Heerlijk gegeten in een sfeervolle ambiance. De heerlijke gerechten werden door vriendelijke personeel gepresenteerd. Wie van speciaalbier houdt: bij iedere gerecht wordt een bepaald bier aanbevolen.

Spontaan hier naar binnen gedoken voor een hapje. Gezellig restaurant, niet te vol en dat kan ik altijd waarderen. Aardige serveerster die ons hartelijk ontving. Prima menukaart, met voldoende keuze! Ook stonden er opties voor dieet, allergenen etc in. Ik koos voor de sate en mijn moeder voor de parelhoen. Alles smaakte echt prima! En de prijs was keurig, wij betaalden 50 euro voor 2 hoofdgerechten en 4 drankjes;) Dit restaurant zou ik direct aanraden!

We zijn hier al vaker geweest, maar dit was de eerste keer dat ik het eten een beetje vond tegenvallen. Nog steeds niet slecht, maar vorige keren was het uitstekend. Sfeer en service zijn nog steeds uitstekend!

Heerlijk geluncht op een gezellig terras. Kip salade was geweldig lekker en ruim voldoende! Top personeel! Aanrader!
