What an incredibly beautiful wedding we had the privilege of celebrating for our son Joris and daughter-in-law Rebecca. Everything was taken care of and arranged down to the last detail. Amazing dinner. Compliments to this wonderful team at Daatjeshoeve.

We had a great time, super hospitable! Lovely terrace, amazing food, and you really feel at home there.

We recently had a delicious meal on the beautiful, well-maintained terrace. Particularly tasty dishes, fine wines, and friendly service. We will definitely be back again.

Truly an impressively unpleasant experience. A tired four-year-old boy grabbed a chair and the owner came out as if a robbery had just taken place. That chair was snatched from his hands with the energy of a security guard at a festival. Calmly explaining something to a child? No way, way too customer-friendly. Afterwards, we walked away with a tired and crying child, while the staff stood around chatting pleasantly as if they had just solved an episode of *Opsporing Verzocht* (Crime Watch). When I asked for the drinks menu, I was given the lunch menu which only listed beer. When I asked if they also had a wine list, I was told with a sarcastic smile that he could explain what that looked like. Thanks, Hans Kazàn of the hospitality industry, but just give me the menu. Eventually, I left for another place where people apparently *do* understand that hospitality doesn't mean treating children as if they've been banned from the pub. If you're in the mood for passive-aggressive service, social awkwardness, and a free childhood trauma for your child: highly recommended. If not, then I would just go to Peerkesbosch for a good meal with customer-friendly staff.

What a fantastic experience at Daatjeshoeve! We had a delicious meal here and truly enjoyed the hospitality. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting, making you feel immediately at ease. Additionally, the surroundings are beautifully situated in the middle of a forest area, where you can enjoy lovely walks or bike rides. This makes a visit extra special: first enjoying nature, and then sitting down for a culinary treat. In the photo, you can see my starter; I stupidly forgot to make the main course... Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food in a stunning setting. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I had a fantastic evening. Upon arrival, I told her I couldn't eat some vegetables because of my stoma, but I really wanted the pike-perch. The owners and the kitchen handled this very well, and I was given other vegetables. They even offered suggestions regarding Brussels sprouts and corn (which was normally in the salad). We had a wonderful evening with excellent food (wild boar, among other things) and good beers and wines! Compliments 👍🏻

Walk with nature beautiful Limburg was great..

Unfortunately, it wasn't the first bad experience. After a lovely walk at Daatjeshoeve (on Friday afternoon), I finally gave it the benefit of the doubt. A cup of coffee and cake. The rice cake and beenenstich were old and dry, and the whipped cream had discolored. So, NEVER AGAIN.

An excellent location, especially for groups. Exceptionally hospitable and excellent cuisine.

Had a delicious lunch (sandwich with tenderloin). Lovely spot. Large terrace. Reservations are recommended. There's a parking lot nearby. Lots of people also came by bike. Enjoyable walks in the area.

A gem on the outside of civilization and close to the forest to have a great walk and see boars and other animals. The place offers a lot of parking spot and it seems to be an old farmhouse renovated to be a chique restaurant to sit inside or on the courtyard. They have a room which shows the Airwar of WW2 and very old antiques, free for anyone to visit The food was excellent, it's not cheap, but the Daatjeskeuze is amazing and less than 20€. Good size food and multiple options on fish, meat, and vegetarian. We enjoyed this a lot and in the back you can have the children admire donkeys of the place. #Hint: try the moody moose beer (home brew!)

The food is very mediocre. The €15.95 club sandwich has slices of smoked chicken breast from the supermarket. The largest soup they have is in a coffee cup, and everything is poorly topped. Not worth coming back for me.

Great place! Delicious pastries, and you can also have a good lunch and dinner there. It's great that there are vegetarian options. I'd like a clearer indication on the menu of what's vegan and/or gluten-free (or can be made vegan).

We had a great time sitting and eating here. There is no lie about the fast service! And the staff is also very friendly and service-oriented. We also noticed that they treat the dogs on the terrace with great respect. The food is very tasty and the drinks are also tasty and freshly prepared. Last Friday we celebrated the wedding of our daughter and son-in-law at the Daatjeshoeve. It was a wonderful day, organized down to the last detail, thanks to Pieter, Heske and their employees. The dinner (with 50 guests!) was perfect and no one had anything to complain about during the party evening. Some statements from the guests: "We had a waiter in top condition" and "That waiter deserves a raise, he didn't leave us dry for a second". Thank you very much, we look back on this beautiful day with great pleasure!

Beautiful restaurant. The service is great and the menu is very refined. It is atmospheric and fun to be here. Unfortunately, there were a few large bones in the fish and the brisket had a little too much chamois. If you say something about it, it will be resolved, but it's a shame that it wasn't all good.

We waren al lang niet meer geweest dus met vrienden gereserveerd. Ontvangst was welkom, kachel brandde lekker. Het eten was weer heerlijk en de sfeer top. Oh en de frietjes waren zo lekker.

Helaas, dit was geen positieve ervaring. Wij waren met een kleine groep, het welkom was goed. We hadden er zin in en gingen zitten aan een ronde tafel, de sfeer in het restaurant was gemoedelijk en gezellig. We namen allen een voorgerecht, waarbij ik nog twijfelde of ik het niet teveel zou gaan vinden. Nou, dat bleek niet het geval, we kregen bijna lachwekkend weinig eten! Het voorgerecht was wel oké qua smaak, maar het was na een paar happen al op. We kregen de vraag of we er brood bij wilden. Graag! Bij het op zich lekkere brood kregen we een smal bordje met drie piepkleine toefjes smeersels, die te snel op waren. Het hoofdgerecht: op de kaart leek het heel wat, maar nee, dit was erg matig. Geen verfijnde keuken en opnieuw veel te weinig. Een hopeloos klein cupje mayonaise voor bij de frites, voor vijf personen! Teveel moeten betalen voor deze teleurstelling, dit gaan we niet nog eens doen.

Mooie locatie, maar het eten was niet geweldig helaas! Voorgerecht was niet lekker, en hoofdgerecht was veel te weinig! De wijn was meer dan lauw, en het nagerecht viel ook tegen! Voor die prijs mag je toch wat anders verwachten, wij gaan er echt niet meer naartoe!

Delicious food! Knowledgeable service, had asked for well-done deer due to pregnancy, the lady neatly told me that well-done deer has a changing taste. This was followed by the deer stew option. Very neatly arranged! Homely atmosphere, quiet, cozy, small-scale and just right! Highly recommended!

Due to their years of experience, they are very professional and they will remove all your concerns or uncertainties. The Huyselijk Enjoy dinner was delicious and completely matched our wishes. I highly recommend them!

Arrived at 7:15pm on Sunday. We were asked if we wanted another bite to eat. We wanted to order a snack board. Kitchen closes at 8pm. At 7.20 pm we are told that the kitchen is already being cleaned up. More than half an hour before official kitchen closing time!!! This is very unfortunate!!

Food was good, but it wasn't quite there. Vegetarian main course was a roasted fennel with not much added. Very disappointing for 26.50. Nice location, good service, portions very small.

Matige kwaliteit . Schnitzel meer paneer dan vlees, crème brulee doet zijn naam geen eer aan (droog) Kwantiteit ondermaats, voor een normale eter zeker onvoldoende. Extra portie brood(!) lost probleem niet helemaal op.

The location speaks for itself, a cozy old farm, in the middle of a quiet agricultural area. You will also find plenty of space here to park, sit comfortably and for the children to enjoy themselves. The food is tasty, no nonsense, just good and the service is quick and friendly.
