Very nice place! You have to be a bit lucky if there is room, but a nice spring evening on this terrace is pure enjoyment. I ate the beef and the chicken quesadilla. Together with the margaritas and the relaxed staff (SO to Lesley) a wonderful evening.

My go-to place for tacos and quesadillas in Blijdorp! I’ve only ordered takeaway, so my review is based on that experience rather than dining in. Firstly, there’s a self-order kiosk in the cafe, but some menu items are listed only in Spanish, without English or Dutch translations, which can be confusing. If possible, I recommend ordering directly at the counter for clarity. Secondly, the food is just great - fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! We always go for the original quesadilla, a few tacos, and a burrito - everything is consistently excellent. There are also taco deals for two or three tacos, as well as meal deals, so be sure to mention these when ordering at the counter to get the best value. They offer the option to pre-order food on their website for quick pickup, but if they’re not too busy, ordering on the spot usually means a wait time of just 10 minutes. I keep coming back here and highly recommend you check out too!

Overhyped tent. I just got sambal oelek in my casedillas. Served by expat students. I was told it would be great. 2 servers who didn't pay attention at all for a 3 by 3 place. Beef tacos were tasty but the chicken tacos were stuffed with cabbage. And all that for 75 euros. Let me help the Mexican cartel next time.

The place small but not too crowded theres 2 ways to order: kiosk or counter. We got the Birria Taco, Burrito and Quesadillas. My favorite was the quesadilla. The Birria Taco did not come with a dipping sauce and the shell was hard at certain areas The Burrito rice was hard.

We were a group of 5 people, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Everyone got their food, except one person from our group. While everyone else had already finished eating, my friend still hadn't received her food. After waiting 30 minutes, we indicated that we had to leave for Antwerp and wanted to cancel the last order, as it had not yet been prepared. We were then told that the food would be "ready now". The food ended up being put together quickly-quickly, but there wasn't even any meat in it. The business has been heavily overhyped by TikTokkers who do not leave honest reviews. Our experience was anything but positive, and we certainly won't be returning here.

What an absolutely amazing place, the food was nothing short of fantastic, probably the best birria I have had in the Netherlands. Such great atmosphere and the staff was super friendly!

I wanna preface: THIS IS THE BEST BIRRIA IN ROTTERDAM! The moment you walk inside you're greeted by a welcoming colorful interior and quick to be served! We enjoyed their taco selection on this occasion, and while I couldn't get enough of their Birria tacos, the Al Pastor tacos were a close second. If anything I wish we could order a bucket of Birria to go; I'll be thinking about it for weeks 💙

Greatest Mexican food outside of Mexico. The boss is very kind and the waiters are efficient greet you with warmth. The interior is so cute and cozy. Couldn’t recommend it enough! I suggest taking combo 5 if you’re going as two people. The prices are unbeatable for the value of the food.

Recently picked up food from the restaurant. Overall a mixed experience: the taste of the food was fine, but the quality left something to be desired. The taco was soggy and very soft, probably due to the amount of oil. The quesadilla was decent, but a bit disappointing. The burrito wasn't too bad, but in terms of value for money we thought it was pricey for what you get. Interesting to try once, but not highly recommended for us.

Service was super good, nice girls who work there and good chefs who help you. But the food itself, nachos, could have been more seasoned and filled with more cheese. Nachos were okay, I expected them to be a bit crispy and yes, the borritos were tasty and well filled. But the churros cheesecake dessert was out of the question. You can't even taste churros. It's an okay thing.

Where should I start: First of all, very disappointed after reading all the positive reviews, I had really high expectations and the food also looks delicious. The food was very substandard. It was tasteless and not filling you paid almost €7 for one taco. It takes a long time to get your food and there was hardly any room to sit. It felt a bit like survival of the fitest to see who could get a seat first. The restaurant is very small. DON'T ORDER A DEssert is a waste of your money. 'Crepe' literally comes from the supermarket and the churros are from Aviko. All in all it's not worth it. It's very overhyped.

Best biria tacos in town. I've had biria tacos in many different places. Only nowhere were they as good as here. The price/quality ratio is great for what you get. The best nachos that are very full of toppings, not stingy at all! We ordered the nachos with beef, but they arrived without beef. This was no problem: we were allowed to keep the old nachos, followed by a new bowl of nachos with beef. Unfortunately, the interior is still on the small side. Hopefully they can arrange a larger branch in the future. If it had been more in the city it would have been a 10/10. But definitely a very good start!! Really worth your money for comfort food 😋

The food tasted delicious, feels more authentic than other Mexican places and you don't have to wait too long. The music is very loud inside, but when the weather is nice it is fine to sit outside.

Great place in Roffa Noord. Small but very nice, just like the ladies at the service. I was almost talked into by an English-speaking lady, but actually no time, so I went home on my bike.... However, after a minute I thought f*ck it... it can be done quickly.... good choice! if I say so myself. So I'm Mexican, and to be honest, the food is not 100% authentic. Actually, not even close to being authentic. The best part about Halcon were the taco de birria con queso. However, the tacos de costilla was very mediocre. It lacked taste and creativity. Usually costilla is very juicy and flavourful, which this costilla did not have. Also, the service was also not great. It seemed like they had messed up numerous orders and the staff had to go back into the kitchen more than once with food on hand. Lastly, I was disappointed to know that they had ran out of Al pastor for their tacos, quesadillas and burritos. I was looking forward to trying this as it is a staple to Mexican Street food. Overall, it wasn't what I was expecting based on the comments. I won't be coming back.

After all the good reviews, my boyfriend and I were very excited to pick it up somewhere to sit and eat, it was very disappointing and we have already eaten at a few taquerias & tried tacos, burritos, etc. The birria queso I was most looking forward to was very oily and had a strange taste to it The costillas at quesadillas & tacos were very dry and also had a strange taste The white & purple cabbage made the tacos very watery. Overall, we are very disappointed and think it's a shame that we spent around €60 and we could hardly eat anything good/were not filled and we now have to get food somewhere else. I'm sorry to say, but we certainly won't be back

The burrito is super good🤩it’s packed, great size and price. Tip: could use a bit more salt to bring out the flavour. The tacos were also great!! Had good taste but are *very* pricey for the size of the tacos themselves. The place is neat, but noticed that when I pulled the paper off the tray that the tray itself was dirty with sauce from a previous customer…hygiene could be better😉. You can also see into the kitchen which is nice so you see how they handle your food, but you also can see if they maintain everything clean and the floors could use a bit of work🙂. Overall very good experience, will be coming back for more to try out different menu items😄

After reading all the positive reviews, I hesitated to post this, but we were disappointed with the food. I had tacos where the beef tasted bitter. That stood out right away. Furthermore, I think the price is on the high side for the taco size. The owner is friendly and the food was ready quickly. Furthermore, it is a cozy place where you can eat or take away.

Finally a great mexican place in Rotterdam! In my opinion, the best one 🔥food and stuff are amazing. Tip: try the birria meat.. it's delicious!

Not food allergy friendly because they are not trained in what exactly the allergy items in products contain, even if you think you are sure because it has been specifically asked and confirmed up to 3 visits. It was not nice for me to find out/notice afterwards that the food allergen was in it. So a heads up for the fellow people among us with a food allergen; ask for the ingredients of the product you order! The food is tasty and fresh, the atmosphere of the employees is good and personal, but the substantive knowledge about the menu could be increased. If you indicate well in advance, allergens can be specifically taken into account, so I still want to give them the opportunity. Will it be the charm the 4th time?
