Vegan Pizza Bar in Kralingen-Crooswijk

We don't often eat vegan, but this place makes us wonder why! The pizzas were truly delicious!

100% support the concept, but unfortunately had a pizza that got me the taste of salt in my mouth until I woke up the next morning. Too much bacon on the carbonara pizza? Perhaps giving it another try in the future and adjust scores, since my experience was not like the reviews we read

My first meal in Rotterdam and what a way to begin! These pizzas were incredible, honestly better than any vegan pizza I’ve had including many popular spots in London. Delicious base and sauce, plus the toppings were so generous. I felt like I had a whole box of mushrooms on my pizza (in the best way)! Some places are really stingy so this was a super refreshing change. Must visit for any pizza fan. Final tip: order the garlic dipping sauce for your crusts!

I feel conflicted writing this review. On the one hand the pizzas from this restaurant taste really very good. In terms of taste, best vegan pizzas I’ve had. However, for the last two times in a row already I’ve gotten a cold pizza delivered. I ordered through Uber Eats and I noticed the delivery person has multiple stops before getting to me, which makes them be on the bike for 30+ minutes before reaching my place. No wonder the pizza is cold when it arrives…but it’s very upsetting because it ruins the taste. I guess I can’t order from this place anymore.

The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the setting is quite cozy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to try vegan pizzas (and their sides are also very good) :)

Everybody who knows me, knows I'm a super Pizza afficionado and guess what, this Pizza place has blown me away. Extremely tasty pizza, the antipasti plate was super delicious as well and the staff was super kind and friendly. We can absolutely and highly recommend this place, give it a try, even if you're vegan-sceptical, for whatever reason that might be. This place probably has the best pizza in town.

Had a really good meal here. The pizza tasted really great, even my meat-eating girlfriend thought the vegan pizza was better than the pizzas she normally gets to take away. 5 stars well deserved

Pizza was super dry and blant. Tasteless. Quality very poor comparing to some time ago. We won't order again. I'm very sorry.

Really, really, really delicious. We had pizza and pasta, as well as appetizers, and everything was absolutely delicious. Great service; you immediately felt warmly welcomed. If you're in Rotterdam, please don't miss this.

I had a takeaway pizza and it was very good. But I was blown away by the roasted veggies side dish, really delicious! The tiramisu was incredible as well with a lot of delicious chocolate sauce for it. 10/10

We have rarely enjoyed such tasty pizzas so much. Everything is simply delicious, and they happen to be vegan. So don't miss this pizza bar when you are in Rotterdam (whether you eat completely vegan or not). Also important: the very friendly service, we immediately felt welcome from the moment we entered. The icing on the cake are the Tira, I Miss U and especially the Mon Chou Cherry. 100% recommended!

Very nice staff and delicious pizzas and desserts!

The food was really good with gluten free options available. I would say that it is a little bit of a more modern approach to pizza with having amazing dips on the side. I also loved the aranchini balls definitely coming back.

What a fantastic meal we had!! The risotto balls and the pizza were super tasty! And the monchou cake, oof, I still dream about that! Definitely worth repeating. I hope you expand quickly throughout the Netherlands! Everyone should eat here at least once. Even if you are not vegan, you will be amazed by this deliciousness! Recommended.

Do you like tasty pizzas? This is where you need to be! Yes, they happen to be vegan, so it's high time you discovered how delicious that can be. And do you already eat plant-based? Then you have a lot of delicious things to choose from here, so many that you have to come back. We do that anyway.

As a non vegan I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. Very good quality. Was not busy on a wednesday evening, deserves a bigher crowd.

Cozy little place. Sweet, attentive service. Price/quality more than excellent. What a ridiculously delicious pizza! Thin crispy base and the homemade pesto is just right. Pesto can sometimes be a bit stale but this one had a small subtle freshness. The pasta tartufo funghi was also great. Pinot grigio and blossom power lemonade with it were also nice. We would love to come back very often!

Very nice place with lovely staff and great atmosphere! They have a large variety of exciting drinks (non-alcoholic as well) and desserts. It was hard for me to decide on a pizza, every option looked tasty and interesting. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to come here again!

I have tried many vegan pizzas in my life. I think this was really the best vegan pizza I have ever tasted! The cheese is not as sticky as many other vegan cheeses. Highly recommended!

They are awful. I don't like the way they approached me. I went there to use my neotaste code to buy 2 pizzas with the price of 1. They said they can not give it because it is available only for the restaurant services but it isn't written anywhere. They just tried not to give pizza with the coupon.

A diferencia de otros lugares el Vegan Pizza Bar desarrolla su propio queso vegano y seguro que lo clavaron! El camarero nos explicó cómo han estado probando y mejorando su receta y están desarrollando nuevos quesos para el futuro, todos basados en plantas, por supuesto. En general su comida era increíble, los precios son justos y el personal era atento y rápido. Mi pareja y yo tuvimos una noche increíble con pizza y bebidas. Definitivamente volveremos!

We felt welcome and the food was delicious! It was also nice that it was said that the appetizer foccacia was quite large! Still some leftovers that were offered to us without asking to take with us, neatly packaged! And you can still enjoy it the next day!

First impression when you come inside is stinky because of smell of cigarettes in hall. It is not clean and you can see cigarettes rests in hal. Overall they could keep cleaner Also cash paying not possible which makes me never come again. From all that I must say pizza was quite good.

We didn't miss the 'real' cheese. Great home-made vegan cheese instead on our pizzas. Good and friendly service. Entourage in DH not super atmospheric, but it's more about the concept: healthy and tasty food, and that's what we got. Super deserts on the menu too.

10/10 food, service, and overall experience. The lovely Mark was warm and friendly from the second I arrived. I reserved a seat at the bar and received a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch. With so many amazing options, I had trouble deciding, so Mark kindly offered his expertise on the menu. I had the calamari-a-a-ah, the Ball Appetito (meatballs) and the Sunny Caesar. The calarami were light and tasty, served with lemon and aoili. The meatballs were incredibly moreish and the Caesar was everything one wants from a Caesar. The pizza I had was the Savage Sausage. It was a perfect combination of meaty, smokey, sweet, and savoury. As I'd typically overordered, I took some time to eat my meal and at no point felt hurried or not attended to. Mark was the perfect host, friendly, attentive, and engaging. It's definitely my favourite vegan food in Rotterdam. Thanks to The Vegan Pizza Bar for a wonderful experience during my travels. Best pizzas we’ve ever had! 🫶🏻 We came here on a whim, not really knowing what to expect but where really interested in how many options there were. We made a quick phone call beforehand to confirm what products contained nuts as one of us has an allergy, the staff member was very friendly and helpful! When we got there we realised there was only 1 waitress and 2 chefs, and because of how busy it was we waited around 40 minutes for our pizzas. The waitress was extremely kind, apologising about the wait but we understood entirely. It was 100% worth the wait! Will be coming back next time we’re in Rotterdam 🍕❤️

Yesterday we sat here with a group of 6 people. We had made a reservation in advance. The fact was that it was quite busy and that one girl alone did all the service, but this would have been manageable if some form of structure had been maintained. We had to wait at least half an hour before we could tell us what we wanted to drink and after an hour of waiting we still hadn't received our first drink. During the pizza we ordered our second drink, but because this never came, we canceled this order - after sitting there for two hours - and ended up having that drink somewhere else. Very unfortunate. Especially because I like to believe that they are trying to do something good with a vegan menu that will make many gluten-free vegans very happy, and with pretty tasty pizzas too.

Great pizza with amazing vegan cheese 🤌 it’s based on soy protein which gives it a different texture than the typical vegan cheese texture (not sticky at all!). The waiter was really nice and gave me some tips for my city trip 🌿

There is only one word for this tent: fantastic.

Very friendly and talkative staff. We some had difficulty choosing from all the options, so we got some more time while we got served our drinks and a nice starter. The food was great! The homemade vegan cheese tasted really nice and melted so well. I had the carbonara pizza which was really good but a bit too salty. Luckily we ordered some dips for the crust and that helped smooth out the salty punch. After our pizzas we ordered some delicious brownies and ice cream and got our unfinished slices in a box to go. We had a 2 person starter, two drinks per person, two pizzas and two desserts for € 85,- so that's not all that expensive. The atmosphere inside was super cosy and outside it felt nice to sit under the trees in the late night sun. However the restaurant is next to a two way street through which quite a few cars drive. Hopefully later on the barrier between the tables and the street would be a little bigger so the noise from the cars doesn't interfere with conversations. All in all, the food was great (4.5/5) the service was banging (brownie😉) and the atmosphere nice. Would recommend 10/10

Really good vegan food here, absolutely loved it. The place itself is pretty small so I wouldn't advise eating in if you have a large group but it's very cosy and all the staff seemed very friendly and happy to help if you did need anything. There's also a good range of gluten free options if that's something you need

Absolutely amazing ! I have been there many times and probably even more ! Full vegan menu, super delicous food and very friendly staff! The location is nice, outside tables are available, inside is very well decorated. It is clean and fast! The pizzas ,snacks, deserts, pastas are all yummy! My favorite is especially “The Garden”. They have also a branch in Den Haag too.

Top restaurant with very friendly service and a casual atmosphere! For the first time that I eat a vegan pizza that is just as tasty/tastier than a "non-vegan pizza"! I have really missed it in the few years that I have been eating vegan, since pizza is really my favorite food. The cheese is especially good!

It was great pizza…not just great vegan pizza.

I was there with my son who can only eat plant-based, which was a relief for him, he didn't know what to choose. I'm not vegan myself, but I really enjoyed it! And as I showed the waiter: the dips for the pizza crusts are completely unnecessary, the dough is so delicious! Thumbs up!

Tastiest pizza ever! My carnivorous partner and flexitarian self really enjoyed it. We were 6 people and kept swapping pizza pieces to taste everything, haha. We like these pizzas better than many other non-vegan pizzas. The service was also very nice and pleasant and hospitable and all in all we had a wonderful evening.

The food was stunning, they aced the flavours of the pizza. Everything tasted fresh and well taken care of. I would recommend the antipasti because it takes a few of their pizza toppings on their own and it is delicious!

Hey there! My girlfriend and I did a trip from Germany to Rotterdam around Christmas and ended up eating here. For us it honestly was an exceptional experience. I am vegan so I have quite an experience with vegan pizza and this place was just amazingly good. Not only the food, also the two guys there were soo nice and welcoming that we ended up chatting for quite a time. We had carbonara, the calamari rings and the salad gems. It was so tasty!
