As always, the food was delicious. We wanted loaded fries instead of nachos. That was no problem. They were so good that we ordered another plate. Unfortunately, we didn't feel like having lasagna anymore, but we'll have that next time. Very friendly employee who thought along well and gave suggestions!

Amazing restaurant. The owners were super friendly, greeted and gave personalized service. Their food recommendations were amazing. Pink lemonade and carrot ginger lemonade both very tasty. Flat tacos, fresh ingredients and great presentation. Burger was a delicious, and the bun you would NEVER know was gluten free. I've never liked gluten free baked goods, pleasantly surprised. The cake, cherry chocolate cake and a virgin mojito to finish the night. The cherry on top of a wonderful evening. Thank you!

Had a cheese toastie and ginger tea here as a quick lunch stop and was delicious! Restaurant decor is gorgeous, played nice soft music in the background, staff friendly and even gave me a cookie to take on my travels! I came after visiting the Fenix museum, it’s about 9 minute walk but I’d recommend it as it’s in a lovely quiet spot and food and service was really great.

Super delicious food! The gluten free options are also very diverse, so you can try different things, from dumplings to curry to burgers. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The space is beautifully designed, modern with warm touches, and the large glass walls let in so much natural light. You can see right outside while you eat, which really adds to the calm, relaxing vibe. The food was absolutely delicious. It’s all gluten-free and vegan, which is amazing on its own, but the flavors were also really impressive. The onesI had just melted in my mouth, especially the Amazing burgers. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they knew the menu well, which made ordering really easy and comfortable. It was a truly an unforgettable experience. Delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and a really peaceful place to enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!

Had an awesome dinner. This place is brand new, very delicious menu, which is currently being renewed and reviewed. We got to try a dessert from the new menu, which tasted surprisingly good.

My favorite place on Katendrecht and my favorite spot for gluten-free food in Rotterdam - and maybe in the whole of the Netherlands. We live nearby so we like to come here regularly. Discovered because of my gluten-free diet and very happy that we found this restaurant. A lovely place in a beautiful (new) location where you can eat really delicious gluten-free and vegan food. Everything on the menu is great. And I recommend you to ask about all the cakes. What a treat that is!! They also have non-gluten-free options, but I understand that they make everything in separate kitchens so cross-contamination is not an option.🍀🏆 These people know what they are doing! And oh yes, they are also really sweet, hospitable, and attentive. Highly recommended!!🌱🌼

Food yes. Healthy? Maybe. Happy? Well… We walked all the way from Rotterdam city centre to have dinner here. It was Prime time and the restaurant quite empty. Maybe due to reopening/renewing of the menu. When we entered, the - supposedly - owner was busy discussing something with the waitress. Fair enough. We waited and finally got their attention. After a good consultation about what to order (restaurant still quite empty, except like 2-3 tables), we unfortunately waited for ages (like about 45 minutes or an hour) for our food (lasagna, fries and a burger) which arrived luke warm. Taste was okay but nothing special. Tab water was also forgotten - but fair enough (-does not seem to be the most popular order in many restaurants and staff anyway still busy discussing whatever behind the counter)… What annoyed most though - besides the high prices for quite regular dishes - ws not so much the chaos but the cynic comments (“humor”?) and stressful behaviour of the boss (?) towards us. No, we are not students just because we want to split the bill. No, it was not only the water that was tasty, just because we don’t praise your basic food (or because you think we are poor students - which we are not).

Had a nice lunch here on a sunny afternoon. The hosts were polite and engaging and the main seating area had a nice open feeling. My Hell hamburger was good with the patty having lots of flavor. However my Americano was a bit watery for my taste

Had a very tasty amazing burger. The dumplings and nachos were also tasty. Nice Lowlander beer with it. For dessert I had the chunky monkey, delicious. The ladies I was there with had the affogato with Tia Maria. That can't go wrong. Good atmosphere. Sweet, friendly and super attentive service! And a great owner! 30-40 euros per person, but we also spent quite a while there with some beers. Normal drink plus some food amounts to 20-30 food. #glutenfree #vegan

A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, lounge-like tranquility, super friendly and hospitable staff. I can be very brief about the food: Divine and completely Gluten-free! This restaurant goes for star class.

Looking for a vegan restaurant the other side of Erasmusbrug Bridge and this place did not disappoint. We had nachos and the dumplings for starters and they were phenomenal (my non vegan partner was speechless they were so good!) We had the Thai curry and the spirulina burger for mains and again absolutely delicious. Thanks again to Sara and Errol for such an amazing early dinner. We’ll definitely be back when we’re next in Rotterdam.

I was very disappointed. The best thing of the restaurant was the attentive service. The ambiance is sober. I don’t know where the pictures from the colorful furnishings were taken but certainly not in that restaurant. The food was tasteless and unimaginative. We ordered a glass of red wine and got the dregs of the last bottle. How could that be? Absolutely overrated. I can’t recommend it.

Last weekend I had a really delicious meal at Vegan Restaurant Happy Food & Health! From the first bite to the last it was a tasteful experience. The menu offered a surprising variety of vegan dishes that were beautifully presented and packed with flavour. What made the evening even more special was the extremely friendly staff. The staff were attentive, friendly and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I can say with certainty that I will definitely come back to this restaurant. It is definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys delicious food and a hospitable atmosphere.

Great vibes, great owner, great food

Healthy food in Rotterdam is rare. Here we got high quality things with lots of fresh and natural ingredients. Not only did it taste great, the service was extremely friendly and joked with us - keyword "Peppermint Tea"

Absolutely recommended. Horribly delicious food. The vegan burgers are really on another level! Good atmosphere, nice staff and haven't had such good food in a long time!

Food was good, although size of some dishes can be disappointing (a half of the egg plant to share looked a bit sad). Very friendly chef who explained the dishes (seems like only he could do that). We felt a bit surprised that some plates were taken while the other person was not done eating yet. Looks like the place is still in the making (literally, since you can approach construction materials on your way). We most likely won’t be back, for now something is missing, hard to say what, maybe a bit of everything.

A good experience globally for our diner. But I don’t really understand the reviews about the food, it was ok, let’s say good average but not really amazing. For us, the food was missing taste and texture in general. It was pretty blank in general. The staff was very friendly and the location was cosy for a dinner. The price are too expensive for the quality of the food, even for Rotterdam.

Coincidentally, I came across this beautiful restaurant. Gluten-free and plant-based. Divine dishes including “safe the ocean” burger with a spirulina lemon sauce. To top it all off, a chunky monkey dessert. Great atmosphere, host and ambiance. Highly recommended, we will definitely come again 🥳🥳

I got a private service unlike any other, the place had just opened and I was one of the lucky first to dine here. The food is awesome, great staff who where very open for a chat, I highly recommend this place!

The place was great. Very quiet for a Saturday. The food was tasty but a bit messy. Also, they only had oat milk which some people can't have so maybe nice to add more variety to the milk options.

Wonderful place to spend the evening. Super tasty food and very kind and funny workers. Especially for my GF who is allergic to gluten, it was a very pleasing experience there. Keep it up!

I have never tried a vegan burger that is so good as the one I tried at Happy Food & Health. It was heaven to my daughter, who is celiac, as the whole restaurant is 100% gluten-free. The staff was very friendly, and we had a chat with the manager who offered to give us a taste of their new menu next time we pass by. I wish we had time to visit it again during our trip. But it is a definite stop next time we are around. Good luck with your relocation and the new menu.

Not sure how they got to their high average rating, but I was disappointed. The food isn’t bad, but not close to the 5 star reviews. I’ve had a lot better (vegan) food at other places. Maybe the dinner food is significantly better compared to lunch, but the four of us ordered different dishes and neither of us were impressed. If you just want a nice lunch, go for it, but don’t be fooled by the ratings and expect amazing food, or you’ll be let down.

Big disappointment unfortunately. As experienced vegan eaters, we were very curious about happy food & health. It looks cozy. A lot of plastic plants. Service just on ok. Take the menu to the table yourself... (??) The croquettes are not crispy and the taste is somewhat indefinable. The 2 satay sticks are tasty. They serve burgers, a curry or lasagna as a main course. They don't have the lasagna (?) so something else. The amazing burger. In terms of texture and taste, this turned out to be a not very tasty 'burger' on a bun with a lot of sauce that had become soggy due to moisture. The plates certainly did not leave empty. Nothing was said or asked about it. Unfortunately, with still a fairly empty stomach, I quickly left and didn't look back.

Nice, a new location. But the neighbors in the complex are not informed about the construction work. During the week and at weekends, the block has been experiencing noise pollution from early in the morning for months. Not very neat.

The food was really delicious, although a bit pricey for a burger. The restaurant looked messy and therefore less cozy. Although if you look through the clutter, you will see a beautifully decorated restaurant. I thought the waitress was really mediocre. She shuffled on her shoes, looking like she just got out of bed. Not very friendly and quite slow. The owner helped us at the end, which was a completely different experience. Very friendly man!

Happy cozy place and amazing food and people! The Amazing Burger is just like the name AMAZING. It has an interesting unique flavor, taste sensation and texture thanks to the ingredients. The berry smoothie was fresh and delicious as well. The people here are also very kind and helpful with the good food recommendations. I got here after reading the great reviews. Amazing VEGAN & all Gluten Free Menu I was expecting a hard and stale bun for the burger I ordered, but it was soft fresh and warm. The burger itself was delicious, balanced impactful flavours that worked well together. The curry fusion was also amazing, a lot of amazing flavours that worked well together. In terms of price, considering what gluten free products and fresh produce cost, I think it’s completely fair. Our 10month old loved the food too, staff were really nice to her. Also they have a baby seat as shown on the photo. Tiramisu 👌🏽.

A cosy and relaxed place for brunch - we had the pancakes, french toast (rare to see gluten-free) and cookies, and they were all delicious. The staff were friendly, and thoughtful and attentive to dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend a visit if you’re gluten-free!
