The SUE Store in Rotterdam Centrum

One of my go-to gluten free treat places in Rotterdam. The mars bite is the best out of the ones I’ve tried so far, and the coffee is great.

Their coffee is very delicious, but their cakes did not appeal to me and I could not taste them fully because they were made naturally.

Cozy place with a wide choice of gluten-free pastries. The buckwheat pancake was delicious. Staff was very friendly!

OMG best pancakes ever! They are super thick and fluffy while being crunchy on the outside 😍 I don’t know how they manage but they are truely a work of art. Also the cinnamon flavor overpowers the buckwheat, so anyone who is sceptical should just give it a try and will be surprised by the amazing taste and texture

It was really nice to eat glutenfree cakes, and Latte Macchiato mit Coconut milk, very kind service, simply perfect, I can only suggest this place

Very friendly, warm atmosphere. Fully gluten-free and the coffee is great! Very recommended for having a nice place for a long discussion, or for Kaffee-und-Kuchen.

I really adore that place, i always go here when i want to eat something delicious but healthy as well! The service is good, and the most important is that their dishes absolutely healthy. I always advise my friends go there. The only thing is that they don’t have delicious coffee😅

What a great place! Really delicious food (chia pudding, French toast and scrambled egg), and drinks (chai latte and ginger/rosemary tea), very nice service, everything vegan/gluten-free/and free of refined sugars, pleasant atmosphere and just paid 40 euros! We will definitely come back!

Delicious food. The coffee was great, I even drank it without sugar, it was so tasty. My husband had scrambled eggs and I had French toast with stewed pears. Waaauuuwww that was so delicious and very filling. I brought 1 French toast myself because it was so full. We also brought 1 tiramisu bites with us, which was soooo tasty, unusual. I'm a fan and will definitely go back

The chai latte was excellent and had a wonderfully intense taste. The spicy flavors were perfectly balanced and harmonized perfectly with the gentle sweetness.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. They will give you enough attention, even on a busy day. The drinks are good and the sweets are well made

Had breakfast here twice. over the visits we had: the chia pudding (amazing) pancakes (good for vegan - not as fluffy as egg containing pancakes, but to be expected!) carrot cake granola (delicious) the breakfast platter (very good). Also picked up some of the bites, which were nice. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the food was delicious and healthy so we have no regrets! Staff were excellent, and vibe of the place is super nice. My husband is coeliac, so it’s nice to not have to worry about cross contamination. Note that they use oat milk, and I am ASSUMING this is gf oat milk, but my husband chose to just have black coffee in case it wasn’t (I’m not suggesting this isn’t gf oat milk, I’m just stating that we didn’t check. In the UK, the majority of the oat milk used in cafes etc is not suitable for coeliacs)

I loved it, great quality products, desserts are not too sweet. Everything seems very healthy with a great sensation of flavours. You'll see me here more often! The only minus is that I sat in a corner, maybe they didn't see me much, so took long for people to come to me, take my orders and dirty plates etc

A must visit everytime I am in Rotterdam, i am intolerant to eggs and wheat so their menu is perfect with so many vegan and glutenfree options. The breakfast platter is a 10/10

I went here in January and ate like a king! Everything was delicious, and so much of the menu being gluten free it was especially safe for me to eat there with celiac disease. I stopped by the smaller pastry store in Amsterdam as well, both spots are wonderful to visit and I would gladly go again.

Delicious food and it's great that everything is vegan and gluten-free 💚 The layout of the plates is beautiful. Prices are a bit on the high side. However, the service can be improved. We come here often, but always have to wait a very long time to order (simple black coffee 15 minutes and lunch 40 minutes). It prevents you from ordering something again while eating because it takes so long.

I was looking for a vegan breakfast in the center and ended up here. What a great place! Hearty pancakes with some fruit, a sweet and a sour one, excellent coffee and delicious pastry ☺️

My partner suffers from gluten "hot flashes", so you go somewhere else. Sue does it slightly differently and whether it is turned to the right or left, it doesn't really matter. We ordered the Vietnamese pancake and the mango salad. The Vietnamese pancake was really great. I would really like to make a detour for this. The bite, the nice salad and the vegan bacon were surprisingly good. The mango salad was ordinary and lacked some adventure. We took some more bites with us and had varying degrees of success with them. The cheesecake and apple crumble lacked strong flavors, but the white chocolate thing was super tasty. For anyone who cares about the planet, this is a great place to go wild. For people who prefer less adventure, I would say let yourself be surprised or walk a little further. Price-quality in order. Somehow you always pay a little more if it's all vegan. €27 p.p. In short, dear people, this is quite nice.

Every time I come here I want to come back, just love the barbites, I can’t wait to try the breakfast menu, I have very specific diet and this is the only place in the city I can have a sweet vegan craving without any added sugar

The SOCCA I ordered was very delicious, but the clerk didn't ask me if I wanted to add avocado, and automatically added avocado for me. There was also a charge of 2.5 euros at the checkout. If I didn't want to add avocado, it seemed that I had to ask for it! ! Roasted chickpeas are a surprise The Netherlands is not too salty when you eat it in Europe 👍🏽 The entire store is gluten-free and sugar-free.

Order placed with Sue. Never received. This is due to home delivery. But when I then call to report this, the immediate response is that it is not their responsibility/problem... which is fine, but you can also respond more professionally and think along. You work with the company after all...! Ridiculous

What a really nice place with friendly staff. Went here for lunch with my daughter because we were shopping and were hungry and it certainly wasn't disappointing. We took some bites home, which were also quickly consumed, especially the Mars bite was very popular. We will definitely come back.

Had a delicious meal with my family! It's almost too difficult to choose from all these beautiful bites! The rest of the menu is certainly worth tasting. Fortunately, you can opt for a breakfast or lunch platter so you can taste a little bit of everything! The staff was very (child) friendly and we left with a smile on our faces! Can't wait to plan our next SUE trip :)

Had a lovely meal at Sue's yesterday with some friends. There was a good atmosphere and I was helped very friendly. What makes Sue especially nice for me is that their delicious pastries fit into my healthy lifestyle. Highly recommended!

Super weird experience. When I went there was a big group and two tables of customers before me. I ordered and waited almost 50 mins, still no food came. In the meantime, someone who came in later and ordered takeaway got their food earlier than the customers sitting in. I asked to pay only for my coffee (since the food was not served) because I needed to go for my next appointment. But as I said that, I was told my food was actually ready? And they served it immediately - a plate of cold pancakes. Freshly made pancakes should be hot, or at least warm. How long had the food sat on the counter? I devoured the cold food in 5 mins. Couldn't even enjoy something that I paid so much for (about 18 euros for pancakes and a cappuccino, really?) Never again.

Delicious food with pleasant service! A nice change from traditional cuisine.

Unfortunately my experience at Sue's was disappointing, booked here for a larger party for a special occasion but it was overshadowed by the owner's handling of the situation. Despite clearly indicating a serious nut allergy when making the reservation, the staff had absolutely not taken this into account. The owner claimed not to be aware of this, and we still had to show the reservation that this had been clearly communicated. She displayed a very indifferent attitude, which negatively affected the experience. Safety with allergies should be a priority, especially if it can lead to anaphylactic shock, but unfortunately this was lacking in this situation and there was no understanding for it. If we had been contacted earlier that there was cross-contamination in the kitchen and that this could not be prevented, we would of course have chosen another case. Now we couldn't just go somewhere else with the large group and a table guest couldn't eat anything from the menu. In short, if you have a nut allergy, definitely don't go here.

I have been a fan of Sue's little pastries for years, real flavor bombs, but today I also went to the restaurant for lunch. Also delicious! Immediately bought the book, and of course some bites for home, because I hope to be able to make something similar at home through the recipes. Delicious honest food. Glad that Kim Sue Palm had the courage to follow her heart and such a beautiful conscious eating trend has emerged!

When I entered, a lady addressed me, but didn't assist me further. After a long wait, she directed me to another lady. When I attempted to make eye contact with the other lady, she instructed me to move 70 cm to the left and wait at the cash register! Meanwhile, one of her regular customers was helped before me. Pfhh, what a hassle for a small shop. Apparently, the products are quite special. I was willing to pay 36 euros for 9 "innie Minnie" snacks. But well, they were busy. It's evident they can't handle the crowd in terms of staff and have no idea who arrived first and who came later. I am 51 and have never experienced this anywhere before. Never been to Sue Tried the afternoon tea, which includes samples of their fully vegan, glutenfree & sugarfree items. The afternoon tea is 35 EUR per person, which is pricier than most afternoon teas in the area. We enjoyed the savoury dishes, which included a soup (very delicious) and scrambled tofu (also very delicious). I am not a huge fan of carrot and beetroot, so I did not particularly like the carrot and beetroot with vegan goat cheese salad. My friend enjoyed the vegan goat cheese though. The sweet dishes were okay. Some of the signature Sue bites were very good and others were not. We did not like the blondie and banana bread. Perhaps we are too used to actual sugar(?) because both items were not sweet and sticky enough. The highlight of the meal was the chia coconut pudding. It was amazing and you should definitely try.

Nice small vegan cafe and bakery. Friendly service, nice atmosphere and good assortment of self-made cakes and cookies. Their sweets are made without sugar.

I ordered a hot chocolate here. The price on the menu was just under 5€, which is barely reasonable for a very good hot chocolate. This one was mediocre at best and to top things off they ended up charging 5,60€ because they had added maple syrup (for 1€???). I was not consulted whether I wanted this add on, it was simply done and charged. It felt like a mini scam.

Such great food, I would recommend adding avocado. Rich but not too heavy, walnut pesto and sun dried tomato made the meal well balanced. Pancake was fluffy with lightly crispy edges, perfect! Meal was around €12-15 depending on adding a side of avocado. Very well priced and one of the best meals I have eaten in ages! Good range of hot drinks too

Awesome store !! They sell vegan desserts. I love the Lavender Lemon, but all are good - not too sweet. Great vibes inside. You won’t be disappointed!!

Heerlijk geluncht bij dit restaurant. Alles op de menukaart is suikervrij, glutenvrij en vegan. Daarom is deze plek zeer geschikt voor mensen met coeliakie. De avocado & hummus is zeker een aanrader (zie foto). Na de lunch heb ik nog twee cakejes uit de vitrine mee naar huis genomen. Deze waren ook erg lekker! Ik kom zeker hier terug als ik in de buurt ben.

A gorgeous hot chocolate and delicious pancakes, all feel so indulgent yet nourishing! Got some sweet treats to take away too and they were beautiful. Service was very good too!

Wat een geweldige ervaring hadden mijn moeder en ik bij deze vegan lunchroom! Vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen, werden we verwelkomd met een warme glimlach en een gezellige sfeer. Het menu bood een uitgebreide selectie heerlijke vegan opties, wat perfect was voor ons beiden. We begonnen met een smaakexplosie van smaken met hun veganistische voorgerecht, gevolgd door een hartige en toch verrassend gezonde hoofdmaaltijd.

We went 2 times and it was an awesome experience. I’m celiac and all the menu is gluten free so it was great for me. They have a lot of options to choose, and the food is really good. The hummus toast and the pancakes, are an excellent choice. Also the girls were very nice with us. The argentinian girl was so nice with us, and gave us some places to visit and know around the city. Definitely I’ll go back when I’ll visit Rotterdam :).

Hier kun je heerlijk veganistisch eten voor een normale prijs. Het is er ook erg schoon, de bediening is aardig en je kunt ook nog lekkere dingen kopen om mee naar huis te nemen. Zelf had ik de zomersalade en de rozenthee, allebei een aanrader😊

Food isn't salted at all, which can be tolerable but not when you have avocado on the plate. Sparing and minimalizing even of sallad leaves and 2 thin slices of half of the mushroom cannot be justified. Staff and mood is superb, but the food is overly minimalistic in every sense.

Hello Rotterdam! Hello Sue! Everything’s 100 gluten-free and besides that: raw cake flavors are simply splendid! Rose, Lavender, Key Lime … can’t stop to chose my next bite of delicious joyful healthy food! And the pancakes, don’t let me start my philosophy about those colorfully topped round little yummies, grateful for places like SUE.

Great place for vegans, tasty and healthy food. There are dishes with enough of proteins as needed while eating only plant-based food. Coconut chia pudding was mouthwatering. The desserts are sugar-free but not worse than with sugar ones. I really liked Marz. A bit slow service and a bit expensive (which is usual for vegan place). Overall, good experience

Erg lekker, vooral de Socca absolute aanrader.

Ik had pas te laat door dat we een vega tentje waren binnengelopen dat geen geraffineerde suikers gebruikt. Op zich goed, maar dit is wel ff wennen. Klein menu, had graag een belegd broodje oid gewild. Het eten was naar onze mening matig, maar dat zal aan onze voorkeuren liggen. Pannenkoekjes waren wat droog, maar het lunch gerecht was wel prima (heel veel groen/gezond). Op de wcs stonden niet aangegeven welke voor mannen en welke voor de vrouwen zijn. Aardige bediening en leuke inrichting. Als je van dit soort tentjes houdt, is dit zeker een aanrader. Voor de mensen die niet vega zijn, zou ik deze ff overslaan.
