Ordered a chicken doner pizza with extra chicken. Price 20 euros. However, when I saw the pizza I was unpleasantly surprised. Usually I was satisfied with the volume of the pizzas, but this time it was disappointing. That extra chicken was hard to find. And for that price. Too bad.

Delicious pasta and good service

I will give just 3 stars for a few reasons: - the food was tasty and it came fast, it doesn’t deserve 5 stars because the quality of the salami was not the best I met, and also not so fresh. - the lemonade just full of ice and not so much lemons squeezed, only the taste was present. - the personnel was screaming to each other and that made a not so nice atmosphere to stay and enjoy a pizza. - the waitress not so implicated and not so friendly. After all, I apreciated the location, big place and enough tables if you plan to go many people. The waiting time is very short and they have many waitresses and pizza guys also

The food was super tasty. Portion is more than sufficient. It just took about 30 minutes between taking the order and getting the drinks. You should definitely bring your time. Otherwise the ambience is great.

Tasty pasta, just a commercial atmosphere. Not like a real Italian restaurant

All in all fine. Definitely a good meal for the low price. It was just a bit cold when we were there, which is why it was a bit of a downer for the atmosphere.

I strongly advise against eating here. The food tastes terrible. We have also raised this with the staff, but they then try to blame it on you. The icing on the cake is that we (5 people) got very sick a few hours after our dinner. Protect yourself, and eat somewhere else. You don't miss anything.

The most delicious coffee served with coffee ice cream. Perfect!!!

Never again for us, although Happy Italy cannot do too much about that, apart from the fact that one of the pizzas was a bit sparsely topped. I had the pizza carpaccio and my son the pizza ai funghi without mozzarella. With a magnifying glass you could find the mushrooms and cheese, it was more bare than filled. The pizza carpaccio was delicious and generously filled. It was ready quickly too. But the worst part were the screaming and screaming children. Eating quietly is not an option, especially if you are near the indoor playground. Next to us was a table with 4 children, 1 of whom kept screaming bloody murder. We have never eaten our food so quickly and left with screeching tires and a serious headache.

Service seemed grumpy and forgot to give us cutlery and we had to ask for it after the food was served. The pasta salmon had small pieces but looked like cat food. One piece contained bone from the back of the fish, and many other pieces contained only fish fat. Tasted predominantly like "fish". Atmosphere is fine for a fast food restaurant.

Received a good pizza quatro stagione on the first visit. So once again in good spirits. Last night a worthless, tasteless and minimal pizza. Shame to serve a 4 stagione like this. Table members were all pleased with their pasta dishes.

It was the worst pasta I've ever eaten, and it was expensive. The waiter was also sullen. I will definitely not come again.

Delicious food, but the vegetarian meatballs are inedible. We could get a new pizza without the balls, but we still had to pay the bill. Very unfortunate.

We were there on Saturday evening at 7pm. Neatly reserved in advance. It took a long time before someone came to the table for drinks, after a long wait (20 minutes) what we ordered did not arrive. When we ordered the food, it took even longer (35 minutes) and not at the same time. So 3 out of 8 people had already finished it and then the rest of the food arrived. Really worthless! Ultimately, the bill was also incorrect at the end of the evening. All in all very disappointing....

We were here on a Saturday evening around 5:00 PM. It was nice that - even though we had not made a reservation - there was room for four people. Unfortunately, that's all there is to it. The staff seem busier with their tablets and chatting with the kitchen (just standing around waiting for the food to be ready). We had to wait a long time for someone to come to us for drinks. That's why we thought it might only be possible to order via the QR code. However, you can only order drinks via the QR code, and not food. Some time later someone came to take our order. In the end there were 5 or 6 different people at our table. This feels impersonal and completely uncoordinated. The food is very mediocre. Excellent pizza, but we found the atmosphere and especially the staff very disappointing.

Although it states that it is open until 9:30 PM, the staff do not allow entry after 8:30 PM.

I recommend you to try the chocolate pizza.

Placed an order today at Happy Italy. My bff ordered spaghetti bolognese with extra meatballs. But to her surprise there were no extra meatballs :( She was very disappointed because you pay extra for it🤨. I myself had the Pasta Salomone. I was disappointed, the salmon was cut into far too small pieces😒. And the worst thing it didn't even taste like salmon🙄. They had not forgotten the extra shrimp with the Pasta Salomone. They were tasty🙂 . Fortunately, that made things a little better. I personally had more expectations of the Pasta Salomone, I missed the delicious creamy taste of the cream sauce🤔. Fast delivery👍. And the food containers are well filled.

Happy Italy has a great concept. You have fresh pasta or pizza, no 3-course menus or anything like that or a lot of hassle with desserts. The pizzas are of a good size and you can take what you don't eat with you. You can only pay by card and food is usually put on the table fairly quickly. So absolutely fine in its time.

The restaurant's culinary offerings were of inferior quality. For example, the pizza wasn't baked through, so we had to wait an hour for the food to be served. In addition, the staff was consistently unfriendly.

Pasta was way too salty. And order everything in English ??

Over a 45 minute wait. Food had almost no flavour at all. Pizza base was good but the toppings had no taste at all. Please don’t order the veggie meatballs, as they taste of pure nothing.

It was really satisfying and beautiful. pizzas were big. The atmosphere and staff were also good. I recommend.

Our daughters shared the children's portion, it was fine for the 7 year old and the 4 year old still had something left for us. Our pizzas were large and delicious. But we were also hungry and actually ate them. Both at our table and at the neighboring table, the service was not possible in Dutch or German, but only in English. So the children couldn't order themselves. But later we also had another waitress who was fine.

They make you wait a little too long at the door before you are assigned a table. The pizzas are SUPER delicious.

Het eten was heel lekker/het eten kwam redelijk op snel. Maar de bediening kwam niet aan tafel en bracht ons ijs gwn niet na bestelling. De bediening ging onderling alleen maar praten en deden gwn niks.

This is the worst pizza in Enschede. I ordered a Pizza Nduja, they gave me a Hawaii pizza. The takeaway pizza not even looks like a pizza. I'm fed up with the bad service from this store.

Happy Italy is the place to dine in with friends after shopping. The food is good as well as the service. The place is quite big so there is always a table available.

Music loud. Staff very friendly, English spoken, prices normal. Tiramisu not recommended.

The food is okay and they are very fast. You don't have to go here for the atmosphere or a nice evening out for dinner. If you just want something quick and easy to eat, that's fine.

Either way, Enschede is a completely relaxed and friendly city! We used to drive across the border on Fridays to buy coffee and bread and delicious cheese… and to get gas. Those days are long gone, but we really enjoy going to Enschede… happy Italy is one of them! Everything delicious!!!

We had a reasonable meal here, the atmosphere was quite messy and chaotic. My pizza was cold and I mainly tasted dough and peppers. There was hardly any tomato and cheese on it. Dough was tasty, but it wasn't pizza for me. I wouldn't go back here again.

This time we went to the shop in Enschede and it was really tasty. No comparison to the one in Groningen.

Its a quiet place, the manager there is very accomodating and really helpful, a mistake in the order from my side and he did change it without any issues at all.

You can eat here for little money. Always on the table quickly. Don't expect culinary delights.

Deteriorated rapidly in just a few years. Bad burnt pizzas. Service is nowhere to be seen or they walk right past you. Long wait for food. Tables too dirty to sit at. Old food scraps are everywhere. I used to like coming there but not anymore🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The location is very nice, the service is quick and nice, but the food is a disaster. We had pasta and pizza. Both dishes looked delicious, but that was it. Both dishes without any taste. Everything was missing from the pizza dough! The pasta sauce appeared to be out of the bag. Too bad.

Delicious pizzas and great service

Today we visited your restaurant in Enschede. And I have to say what a disappointment this was. We had made a reservation for 3 people. However, when we wanted to order, we were told that our order could only be taken in at least half an hour, due to the group of 100 people they were working in the kitchen for. I then asked why do you take reservations if you cannot serve them at that time? There was no clear answer to this. Disappointingly, I paid for our drinks and went to eat elsewhere

I have tested and tried many pizzas around the world. In terms of taste and freshness, each pizza has been the best for me so far. The general service is very good. The food came very quickly after ordering. We will definitely eat here again.

I was there with my 2 grandchildren, both had ordered a pizza, before I could start eating my own food I had to cut their pizza with a dull knife, it was impossible. And why aren't there smaller pizzas for children for a smaller amount? I now pay almost 10 euros for a pizza while they don't eat half of it.

Good food for little money. The only "minus" point is that many of the English employees do not understand you when you speak Dutch to them.

Bad service, no respect for people

We've been there several times, but unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. In the pollo pasta, the chicken was chopped so small that, which I only noticed later, with liquid cream as a sauce and 4-5 mini mushrooms, they were asking for a high price. My son's pizza had few toppings and the chicken was of course very difficult to see and taste.

We weren't torn away from the stool, the pizza was quite hard, with little toppings and all 4 pizzas were slightly corked. My conclusion is ok if you're on the go, but nothing to enjoy

What a shame that they don't have "pizza" knives here. You cannot cut finely with the cutlery you receive. This turned out to already be a known complaint, but the boss/manager has not (yet) addressed this problem. I indicated that this is really not possible!! I was so focused on cutting my pizza that it completely took away the taste and enjoyment. You guys really need to change this! Otherwise, pre-cut the pizza and do not cover it with cutlery.

Goat cheese salad was very tasty!

We like coming here. Normally I always have a pizza or pasta, but now I had the Ceasar Salad. And this turns out to be one of the tastiest I have ever eaten. No long waiting times and super friendly staff. Real toppers. A tiny disadvantage. I can say from my table companions and from previous experiences that the knives are really not sharp, actually impossible. We will definitely come here again, but we will bring our own sharp knives 😁 Kind regards and see you soon.

Pizza base is okay, but the Quattro Formaggi flew over it and therefore little taste. The additionally ordered Rucola was a must to add some filling/flavor. Dessert was fine by the way!

Nice staff, cheap food and the food and drinks came quickly. We received our pizza within 10 minutes.

The food is very good and the restaurant itself is nice and atmospheric. Unfortunately, the staff is not very nice, which is a pity, because it makes us not want to come back there.

This time the food was good and service didn’t spoil the drinks on us this time. The pizza tasted very good and it’s enough for two. The panna cotta is very good but few. The chairs are horrible to sit on and most if not all are unstable and moving. The atmosphere is nice with big murals and an open kitchen. I would advise to go next door for ice cream because theirs is not good.

Absolutely not recommended. The staff barely speaks Dutch and one is always just rude. You don't have to do it before eating either. Would recommend to anyone to spend their time and money elsewhere.

Pizza delivered to the table in a cardboard box. Had to go get the cutlery myself. And a beer in a plastic cup (€4.25). They no longer see me.

Been here a few months ago, never had any problems until the last time, pizza was lukewarm and had to wait a very long time for drinks for us, so no happy Italy anymore

Wat een chagrijnige mevrouw in bediening. We moesten al lang wachten voordat we mochten inchecken. Raar eigenlijk want er was nauwelijks klandizie. Bij de mevrouw in de bediening straalde de gastvrijheid niet van haar gezicht. Wat een norse boze indruk. Toen ik vroeg om een nul punt nulletje was de uitleg over de keuze al teveel. Ze rolde met haar ogen, een diepe zucht. En daar zal ik dan mijn geld moeten besteden. We zijn weggegaan zonder iets te consumeren. Wat jammer dat deze mevrouw niet de moeite neemt om wat klantvriendelijker te zijn.

Pasta carbonara with some additions is usually always tasty. I think quality varies depending on who works. Also had it delivered once, which was nasty. So just make sure you get a good pasta and otherwise you will always get a new good service

We had made a reservation via Social Deal at 8:30 PM, but arrived a little later due to road works. Upon arrival we were told that we could no longer sit/order. I indicated that I had already paid. Then we were given fifteen minutes to order and eat. With angry staff who made us feel very uncomfortable. Not much choice of dishes. And customer friendliness is hard to find. The food was also not tasty, you could tell it was prepared in a hurry. Too bad about the money, definitely not recommended!

Normally always very satisfied, especially when I eat there. I placed an online order for pickup today. I was 20 minutes 'early' myself. I waited a total of half an hour, but it turned out that my order had already been ready in 10 minutes. It's a shame that this is not just given directly. When I arrived I said that I was picking up an order in my name. The pizza was not very warm anymore. Fortunately, pasta was still warm.

The staff was very rude. There were many empty tables but he put us on the table that was not cleaned and in the corner, even though we asked for a different place. I ordered a pizza. 2 minutes later, he brought the pizza. We said “this pizza is cold. And we just ordered pizza 2 minutes ago.” He said “That’s interesting” and took the pizza back. 1 minute later, he came back with the same pizza that reheated and too burnt.

Pizzas were a bit flat in taste and there was little mozzarella on the pizzas. Service was good, fast and friendly. Sat outside on the terrace and had a lot of trouble with wasps and flies.

Als eerst super ongeïnteresseerd personeel, vervolgens krijg ik de rekening en betaal ik met pin. Ik moest 89,85 betalen dus toen ik de deur uit liep ging ik de bon lezen en zag ik dat er 3 producten op mijn bon staan t.w.v 11,20 DIE IK NIET HEB BESTELD! Ik ga terug naar binnen en werknemer haalt de “manager” ik krijg 11,20 contant in me hand gedrukt zonder enig excuus. Nu vraag ik of ik het via de pin terug mag en dat is volgens zogenaamde “manager” niet mogelijk en ik moest maar kijken naar de bon voor ik betaalde. TROEP TENT GA HIER NIET HEEN!

Happy Italy, maar de werknemers zijn niet zo happy, zo chagrijnig, ik dacht nog effe en ze gaan ons eruit doen. Die kleine mannetje die ijsjes aan ons gaf deed heel gemeen tegen onze kinderen. Absoluut geen sympathie hij was gewoon jarloers op de kinderen omdat ze in de ballenbak konden spelen en hij moest werken.

Way too busy, waiting in a line and food absolutely substandard

Delicious beer, you can find better pizza. I really like the interior, it's atmospheric and spacious. The downside is that the waiters take a long time to take your order.

On June 29, pizzas eaten with a very large group were burnt, how can you put something like that on the table, it had no taste, very bad! I will never come there again..
