Delicious authentic Italian pizzas. Fast, friendly service.

Service and food was exceptional. The pizza is amazing.

Cozy place. We dined here with a group of 14. The service was attentive, and despite the group's chaotic behavior, they handled it well. Special requests and allergies were well taken into account. The three-course surprise menu was excellent, although I expected some pasta. I enjoyed the starter the most; the dessert was quite filling but delicious.

Normally, this is a good restaurant for a large group. We were seven people on a Saturday. Upon entering, it was immediately apparent that the restaurant was packed. While you can normally have a pleasant conversation, the noise level was so loud that we had difficulty hearing each other. It took almost an hour and a half for our starters to arrive. Then it took another 30 minutes for the main courses to arrive. One main course was even served an hour late because something had gone wrong with the order. Unfortunately, by the time the main courses arrived, the pizzas were already lukewarm. The lasagna, served on a deep plate, was also lukewarm, dry, and much smaller than usual. It was clear that the staff was understaffed and that there were far too many people inside.

We were able to get a table for five people at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly. Everyone who works here is passionate and energetic. It was great! The owner (who is also the chef) also stopped by every table to ask if everything was to our liking, etc. We'll be back!

Great restaurant. Highly recommended. Very tasty food, fast service. Had really good pasta with oyster mushrooms and Parma ham. Nothing to complain about. Olive oil wasn't standard on the table; I had to ask for it. And when eleven people come for €400 for food and drinks and order a limoncello and still have to pay for it... that's not very Italian. (Oh well.) It's the little things that make the difference.

In short, never come back here!!, 🤬My nonna, zia Maria,,zia pina, zia marianina, had thrown the food through the windows, with the cook there, how terribly bad, lasagna dry, burnt, pasta carbonara did not look like bacon was also burnt, lamb fillet so tough it should have had a saw with it, for 4 people with the main course 1 bowl of raw vegetables 1 small bowl of roasted potatoes, after a question was asked if this was not little, after waiting again a tiny bowl was added, so we will never come back here 😡😡😡oh yes the waiting time for the menu was more than 1.5 hours

What a truly awful experience, unfortunately. I went today for my mother's birthday. Very sad for her. The lamb tenderloin was inedible; it was so tough, they should have given me a jigsaw. The lasagna, which a real Italian would have thrown through the windows, was inedible. The service, well, there was a young man with a ponytail who only smeared syrup on the lips of regular customers, forgetting everything else. You order things from him, and they don't arrive while his colleague (a very hardworking young man, though) cleans up the mess behind him and runs off like crazy. All in all, we had to wait an hour and a half for our food. I don't understand where all the rave reviews come from. This was a one-time thing, but never again. Expensive, and the food was terrible.

A fantastically lovely restaurant. And a true Italian. You really feel welcome here. We had a delicious meal. As a vegetarian, I ordered three appetizers. Delicious! Very friendly staff too. I couldn't manage dessert, but the coffee was delicious. Highly recommended.

I've eaten at this restaurant many times, and it's always been excellent. Today I ordered €45 worth of food, but unfortunately, the quality wasn't good, and I was shocked by the portion size. The food arrived cold, but that wasn't even the biggest problem. I received a portion that wouldn't even feed a child. And all for €14.50. When I contacted them to ask if it was normal to only have the base covered, they told me these were always small portions. I know for sure that I won't be ordering from them again, and I'll skip eating at Sorrentino next time.

We found wire from a wire brush in the pizza. I called Sorrentino to report it because this is very dangerous. We were told to report it to Thuisbezorgd to get our money back. The restaurant didn't take the report seriously at all. Unbelievable. I'm going to report it to the NVWA (Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) because this is absolutely unacceptable!

heerlijk gegeten bij Sorrentino. Als voorgerecht gambas met sausje, carpaccio kalfsvlees. Hoofdgerecht, drie vissoorten gambas, tonijn en zeebaars, sambocca. Alles was erg lekker. Het was gezellig druk en de bediening was vriendelijk en correct. Gaan we zeker nog een keer doen.

Enkele jaren geleden hier geweest en toen teleurgesteld. Nieuwe kans na al die tijd..Er is niets veranderd, net zo gemiddeld en matig als toen. De perenpasta was je snel op uitgekeken en de pizza is zo gemaakt dat hij binnen 5 minuten op tafel stond. Te droog, weinig tomatensaus en dito kaas, ook weinig smaak. De rucola zat tussen de parmaham verstopt! Rode en witte wijn absoluut erg waterig. Wat nu? Snel vergeten!

I went here last summer. It was very good then, but I went again tonight and it was truly terrible. We had to wait a very long time for our food, and because of the open kitchen, we experienced a lot of stress from the servers. It seemed like they weren't prepared for crowds. Several people in the restaurant commented on it. The food wasn't very good either, due to the crowds and the rush. The restaurant seemed busier with takeout pizzas than with people waiting in the restaurant.

The steak was terrible, full of muscle tissue; the second one was dry and not very tasty. The staff is friendly, but the quality is subpar. The owner is sitting at a table with probably some friends or something and beckons his staff to let them know there's a dissatisfied customer. He doesn't take the initiative to come over and talk. This is the second and last time.

Vandaag met onze dochter en ouders een hapje gaan eten in Enschede en dit was daadwerkelijk een genot. De gerechten zijn wat smaak betreft zeer goed bereid. De tournedos een mooi stuk was medium van binnen en buiten een klein beetje knapperig heel goed bereid en de saus die erbij zat wat een verrukkelijke combinatie. Verder was er nog de Saltimbocca, mooi stukje vlees met parmaham en kaas. Erg goed. De rode pasta, lasagne, etc. waren ook allemaal van een kwaliteit die je eigenlijk altijd verwacht in een restaurant maar zelden krijgt.

For Vegetarian people this is definitely not the place to go. The vegeratarian pizza was extremely yuck and they did not even cut it. It was taking too much effort to cut the pizza.

Great place to eat in or get pizzas. I've eaten there several times now, and especially with larger groups, it can take a little longer than expected to get your food. This isn't a problem with takeout.

The worst restaurant ever. I had to get the menus myself. The cutlery was dirty. We waited a full 2.5 hours for food. The food was terrible; the pasta wasn't ready, and so on. The drinks were half full, and so on. I've never seen anything like it in my entire life. We returned the food and had to pay a paltry €9 for drinks we didn't drink.

Unfortunately we had to wait more than an hour for our order. After inquiring, it turned out that nothing was known in the kitchen and we would be helped within five minutes. I sat for another ten minutes, but nothing came. And we weren't the only ones waiting a long time. That was enough for us.

The food was absolutely amazing, from the first piece of sto weather baguette to the delicious starter and the pizza that tasted like super fresh ingredients and completely homemade. When we were there it was very busy, which is understandable given the delicious food. But we got a perfect response to this. Someone came to our table, informed us honestly about the crowds, offered us extra baguette and asked if everything was to our liking. So many restaurants spend 2 hours telling you the food is coming instead of just being honest. In the end, we thought the waiting time itself wasn't too bad considering how busy it was; I estimated it at about 20-30 minutes. The food was absolutely amazing, from the first piece of baguette to the delightful starter and pizza tasting of super fresh ingredients, all completely homemade. When we were there, it was very busy, which is understandable given the great food. However, we received a perfect response to this. Someone came to our table, honestly informed us about the busyness, offered us extra baguettes, and asked if everything was to our liking. So many restaurants tell you for 2 hours that the food is coming instead of just being honest. In the end, we found the waiting time to be quite reasonable considering how busy it was; I estimated it to be around 20-30 minutes.

Pizzas undercooked and thick burnt edges, bacon in spaghetti so hard that it was dangerous for your teeth... and a lot of pepper in both soup and pasta, all in all reasonable, but nice and friendly staff

Samen met 3 goede vrienden (de verjaardag gevierd van 2 vrienden die er niet bij waren). Een geslaagde avond. Personeel was erg professioneel en vriendelijk. Menukaarten netjes aangeven, duidelijk uitleg en belangstellend. Vrienden vonden de akoestiek onprettig. Door de drukte galmde de stemgeluiden en kon je elkaar niet altijd goed verstaan. Het is klein, maar wel erg gezellig. Decoratie op de wanden en tafel. Het eten was prima, maar niet bijzonder.

GE-WEL-DIGE ervaring! Het eten was subliem ( met 5 personen anti pasti, prachtig opgemaakt!), hoofdmenu div.soorten vlees (heerlijk !). Een jongeman met een paardenstaart in de bediening. Ik kan zeggen: Hij deed het perfect! Maak ik nooit mee, kunnen heel veel restaurants veel van leren. HULDE!

De pizza’s werden heel snel geserveerd, fantasieloos met heel veel ui en sla bedekt. Verwacht dit niet bij een italiaans restaurant. Wijnglazen ininimaal afgemeten gevuld. Personeel een beetje overdreven vriendelijk ( onder druk van de eigenaar lijkt het) De afzuiging is beroerd, in de schouwburg wist men gelijk waar we vandaan kwamen. Gewoon jammer dit.

Heerlijke verse pasta, ik had de spaghetti met pesto en mijn vriendin de verse pasta met peer en zachte kaas. Beide aanraders. Service was snel en goed en vroeg ook hoe het was. Ook kan de kok langs om ge vragen of alles naar wens was. Helemaal too en een fijne restaurant.

Disappointed by the vegetarian starter, was written "mozzarella di buffala" and we had two small 2cm mozzarella balls and not amazing quality cheese. Pizzas were correct but if I compare with other Italian restaurants in Enschede it's a little bit below.

Het eten was op zich redelijk. Lang op het voorgerecht gewacht en daarna nog eens erg lang op het hoofdgerecht. De tafels staan te dicht bij elkaar zodat je een gevoel krijgt allemaal bij elkaar aan tafel te zitten.

This is the best pizza place in Enschede. I always go for a pizza Parma which is very good. The restaurant is quite small so you need to reserve beforehand. The service it's okay, because it depends on how crowded it is. Hence, sometimes they might be serving you very late. Usually the atmosphere is good but there are times that it might be super loud if it is very crowded because the tables are very close to each other.

Lovely and very friendly staff, the owners are Italians. Best place in Enschede to get genuine Italian food.
