Great view and good service but a little overpriced.

First of all, I think I went there with very high expectations. The oysters gave me food poisoning apparently, they weren't fresh. The cocktails left a lot to be desired. The service was very slow; they weren't even taking people's coats, and there were four dirty tables sitting there unavailable at moment with the best view. Also, if I hadn't asked about the reservation deposit, they wouldn't have deducted it from the bill. I have a terrible stomachache today.

Beautiful place, but we had to wait 15 minutes to be served, and after the drink, they didn't ask us again if we wanted another drink. Shame.

Was closed for some event. Nobody bothered to put a sign anywhere, so we had to go to the 19th floor to find out. Thanks for wasting our time

We went here for brunch on a Sunday. They have live music and shared dining dishes then. Everyone's wishes were taken into account, and we had a very nice day.

Nice cocktails and good view. When I tried to cancel my last reservation (within the officially allowed timeframe), it was not possible to do it online, so I tried calling. Nobody picked up. I sent an email to which no one responded. So they basically just took my prepayment and didn’t return it (even though I did my best to cancel the reservation on time). Beware

We had a wonderful company event at Hasta La Vista Baby! From the organization and warm welcome to the atmosphere, food, and service, everything was very well taken care of. The team was friendly and professional, and they made sure everyone had a great time throughout the evening. It was a fantastic setting for our event, and our whole group really enjoyed the experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our evening so enjoyable!

Cool bar with a breathtaking view of Amsterdam. The cocktails are delicious, although the glasses are a bit small (personal impression). But the ambiance more than makes up for it. Worth a visit!

Excellent bar and restaurant. We were staying at the hotel and therefore got there quickly. I really enjoyed the cocktails and the atmosphere. The only downside was the high price of the cocktails.

Magnificent restaurant on the 19th floor of the Melia Hotel in Amsterdam. Breathtaking views, a stunning location, and perfectly crafted cocktails. The wine selection is also excellent. The dishes are meticulously crafted and offer bold, intense flavors. Their tartare deserves an honorable mention. The staff was always friendly, kind, and helpful. Highly recommended! ☺️

Excellent restaurant on the top floor (19th floor) of the INNSiDE by Meliá hotel. The tapas-style food is very refined, with a nice selection of wines. The staff is friendly and the view is magnificent. The prices, however, are a bit high.

The food was absolutely spectacular! We had the three-course menu and were genuinely surprised by the quality and presentation of every dish. Everything was delicious. I have a fish protein allergy, and the staff handled it wonderfully. They offered a quick alternative without any fuss, which made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. The view from the restaurant is somewhat limited by the surrounding tall buildings, but the rooftop bar offers a much better view and is definitely worth checking out.

Very Beautiful Bar Cocktails were ok

I really enjoyed my first visit with my work colleagues, so I came back the next day before checking out to charge my phone. While I was waiting, I was quietly colouring in a colouring book. The waiter kept looking at me, pointing at me, and appeared to be telling the other waiters about me while they looked over and laughed. It made me feel uncomfortable and judged. I’m an adult, and if I choose to colour while I wait, that’s my choice. If they work in hospitality they should be aware of this immature and unprofessional attitude especially when other guests did not care.

Dazzling views, good ambience, staff friendly, food expertly-prepared - obviously this is a high-end price-point, but the portion sizes are laughable for the price as an a la carte main course and the veal was chewy/borderline inedible (even though clearly a lot of effort went into it). The high tables are also comical choice for dining. It was a memorable experience, but I personally won't be returning.

Very disappointed with my experience at Hasta La Vista in Amsterdam. I ordered cheese croquettes, but accidentally received croquettes containing pork. When I pointed out that the order was incorrect, I eventually received the correct order. Afterwards, I asked to be sure whether the first croquettes did indeed contain pork. The employee confirmed this, whereupon I explained that I am not allowed to eat pork due to my religious beliefs. The response was merely: ‘Oh, sorry.’ I find this very unprofessional. For some people, this is not just a mistake, but something that touches upon their faith and personal convictions. I had expected at the very least more understanding, a serious apology, or an appropriate solution. Unfortunately, it was handled very lightly. This has diminished my confidence in the due diligence of this establishment.

Service was nice, food was really boring

The location is beautiful in a word, but unfortunately the food is not worth a passing grade. Small portions, the steak tartare was simply inedible; it contained mushrooms, bacon, and an enormous amount of paprika powder. You couldn't taste the meat at all. The worst part was that I had an oyster that wasn't good (fair is fair, that can happen with an oyster); I put it in a napkin and spat it out. When I pointed this out, they apologized, but the rotten oyster was still on the bill. Very, very bad!!! We will not be coming back here again; despite the location being beautiful and superb, the service certainly is not.

Yesterday, we were hired directly with our casino tables and photobooth by a client from Ireland, who attended a trade fair in Amsterdam last week. Their final evening concluded at the beautiful venue Hasta La Vista, Baby! What a great place. A stunning view, super friendly and service-oriented staff, a beautiful cocktail bar, and excellent drinks. Everything came together perfectly and contributed to a fantastic evening. We look back with great pleasure on this successful collaboration and would love to return to this special location again.

There were six of us doing the three-course shared dining menu. The food was exceptionally good and tasty, the service was top-notch (everything in English), and the view was beautiful. The concept is therefore sharing. For the main course, we had veal four times and beef twice, and shared those as well.

The location and atmosphere were great, a unique experience! I found the food mediocre and especially overpriced.

Decent rooftop bar and restaurant, located on the 19th floor, in Amsterdam Zuid. The ambience and view is quite good, especially during evening hours. Bit disappointed with serving of dinner , for 3/4- course meals, individual servings were not provided, as they combined serving platter for 2 persons, including desserts. We had to request explicitly for individual servings for each person for desserts. Quality of service and also food left much to be desired for €62 3-course dinner and €82 4-course dinner. Not visiting again, for there are surely better rooftop restaurants in Amsterdam.

The food is great but the portions are indeed small. I highly recommend the side dish with Spanish patatas, better than the main course woth artichoke. Not many vegan sides and I don't drink alcohol. But the location is great. The service is okay.

Food, drinks and the view are all spectacular. The roasted scallops was the highlight food-wise. Small but good selection of wines per glass, I had the Caca blanc de blancs and the Nero D'avola. The bar area turned into a more festive atmosphere later with live mysic, which was great, artists played latin music. Easy to reach by noord-zuid metro line.

just ok...was expecting a bit more to be honest...no outdoor area of the rooftop bar, not much atmosphere and just ok cocktails. Not a bad place at all just could be so much more given the location

From the moment we entered to the moment we left everything was perfection. When I tasted the food I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Like I found a new love for oysters. The vibe was so cool and our server (the guy from NZ) was fabulous. As was everyone to be fair. Thank you all so much ❤️

In my top 3 best restaurants. Delicious 3-course menu with the Chateaubriand 'Lusitano Ibérico Bellota' as the absolute highlight. Truly delicious. And what a beautiful interior with an equally beautiful view. The service was also very friendly and professional.

I recently moved to Amsterdam (3 months) and I’m still getting used to how things work here when going out. I was hosting a friend for a few days, and when I saw Hasta la Vista, I really wanted us to go together! It was a Friday evening and there were just two of us. Honestly, it didn’t even cross my mind to make a reservation—I assumed that since we arrived early (7:30-8 PMwe were there ), there would be at least a small spot available. I didn’t check the website either I saw the place online and we decided on the spot that we would go. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The hostess immediately asked if we had a reservation, and when we said no, she told us rather bluntly that the place was fully booked for the entire evening and nothing would become available. What surprised me wasn’t just that there was no space for two people in such a big place , but mainly the attitude and the rudeness . It felt a bit unwelcoming. In the end, we left, took the metro in the cold, and had to search for another place. So definitely make a reservation if you plan to visit—and hopefully, the service will feel a bit more friendly next time.

Terrible experience here, the place itself is really beautiful but they made mistakes over mistakes on our table. They also added more than 100 euros on our bill for things we never ordered…. Even after pointed that out, the waiter brought another wrong bill. Worst service I’ve ever experienced in Amsterdam….

Organized a baby shower for my friend and everyone was very pleased with the afternoon tea, the service and they were impressed by the interior and the views this place provides. Will be returning for sure again! If you want a cute date place or a place with high views - this is a must!

Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but a special thanks to Miltos and Hans. Their service was outstanding, they made sure we had an amazing night. 5 stars location, decoration, service, speed and friendliness. The reason for 4 stars is that the portions are very small and in the 3 course menu I had they were meant to be shared amongst the minimum of two people on the table. Some alternatives were particularly tasty and indeed unique, but others were regular options. Price quality ok. Can recommend if you are into this style. Reservation highly recommended.

We arrived at Hasta la Vista on a Friday evening without a reservation, fully aware that our chances of getting a table were very slim. Still, we decided to try our luck — and we’re so glad we did! As expected, the restaurant was fully booked. However, Katalina, the host, was incredibly humble and kind. She explained that there was one table available for just one hour and made an exception for us. We were especially grateful because we were dining with our 6-month-old baby (who was very well behaved, but still — not many people bring babies to a rooftop bar on a Friday night!). Since we had only an hour, we ordered quickly. Our waitress (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name — she was working on Friday, 27th February) was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely helpful, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the entire service. She truly made our night special. While enjoying our meal, we asked if the kitchen could prepare a few slices of meat without spices for our baby, who had never tried it before. Without hesitation, the team made it happen. A huge thank you to Rene, Iria, Carlos, Vanessa, and Yaroslav in the kitchen — our little one was the happiest person at the table! After our delicious (but too short!) hour at the restaurant, we moved to the bar area for dessert and cocktails. The cocktail menu left us pleasantly overwhelmed, and that’s when Matteo stepped in. He crafted some truly special cocktails for us — honestly, among the best I’ve ever tasted. Overall, this was an experience we will never forget. The food was fantastic, but what truly made the difference was the incredible team. If every restaurant and bar had staff this skilled, friendly, and welcoming, people would go out much more often. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing evening!

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the three-course shared dinner for two was sufficient. Unfortunately, the meat was truly unchewable and therefore not tender. They also forgot an extra appetizer I ordered. A shame, because the evening had started well. Otherwise, it was a pleasant evening in terms of atmosphere.

Super Chef Rene' took our dinining experience to the next level , we choose the 4 course menu , every dish was an explosion of a unique blend flavour, wich showcase the passion and talent of the Chef and her team! Highly recommend also the wine pairing. We will defenetly cooming back .

We had good time during Valentine’s, the service was great, cocktails were nice, dishes were nice but overpriced. Compared to other similar restaurants it was more expensive.

We had the Valentine's Day package and I can only say that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Delicious food and a breathtaking view. The staff was very friendly and were able to explain everything clearly. The only downside was that the tables were so close together that I couldn't use the restroom without bumping into other tables. Annoying, but otherwise, it didn't detract from a wonderful, enjoyable evening. I would definitely recommend this and will definitely go back!

Hasta La Vista Baby Brunch and had a mixed experience. We were welcomed with warm arms, and the restaurant itself is amazing with great entertainment and views that made for a fantastic brunch setting. However, the time taken to serve courses was too long, which unfortunately meant I was unable to experience the dessert as we needed to leave due to being late for our next reservation. The appetizers were simple, though the main course was great—the fish was excellent, but the steak could've been better quality. A nice touch was the complimentary cocktail that was provided. Despite the timing issues, the staff were great in accommodating us and providing our main course first so we could make our next reservation on time. The restaurant has excellent potential with its amazing ambience, great views, and attentive staff, but improving the service pace would elevate the experience significantly. I would recommend Hasta La Vista Baby, particularly for the entertainment and views, though I do hope they address their timing on course delivery.

Staff was really nice. Food was also good. Restaurant looks really fancy, so overall my evening was succesfull. Only one thing, before i came i informed by email that it was the birthday of my wife. Upon arrival in informed the staff about this, and if they could do something with the dessert. They were gladde to put some fireworks on the dessert. Unfortunately, they forgot to do something with the dessert. ;(. So there was no firework.

We had an absolutely lovely dinner! The location is really nice. Rooftop view over the city, great atmosphere, incredible staff - so kind and professional. The music was extremely loud—more like a nightclub than a restaurant meant for family time. The service was poor, and while the food was okay, the atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy.

Had lunch today. The restaurant was very quiet. Beautiful view and a lovely setting. But everyone left hungry. The portions are minuscule. I had the picanha, but it was a bit overcooked and a bit dry. All in all, a great place with a beautiful view, but the food wasn't great and it was very limited.

Christmas dinner was good, original, and quite expensive. Your account was debited during the reservation process even though you had already paid the bill…beware, it's a scam!

Christiaan had an eye for detail, was thoughtful, and truly made us feel welcome. The atmosphere in the sky bar is stylish and relaxed, with a stunning view that completes the experience. Everything was perfect: the pace, the attention to detail, and the hospitality. Definitely a place you'll want to return to.

A hefty bill for a mediocre Christmas dinner. Some dishes were delicious, but unfortunately, there were also dishes that weren't prepared well. The monkfish was tasteless and had an odd texture. I think the chef is very good, but unfortunately, he doesn't have qualified staff in the kitchen...

Today we had dinner at the restaurant to celebrate Christmas. An example of professionalism, friendliness, and elegance, with exquisite food. We would like to highlight Rodrigo, Calista, and the head chef and leader of the kitchen team, Renée, who ensured our well-being. She is a person who stands out for her friendliness and her ability to adapt to the customer. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making us feel at home! Happy life!

The food was definitely not worth my money. When the chef asked how it was and I gave my honest opinion, he felt insulted. €180 for micro-portions is too much for me. Definitely not going back.
