This is a typical tourist trap with expensive prices and zero care. The signature Rembrandt club sandwich took 45 minutes to table and was dry and inedible. Go for a drink if you must.

The food was adequate. The service and attention to our needs was exceptionally poor. We felt treated like passers-by who would not come back and we certainly won’t be. The personnel need urgent training in customer service. I went to the toilet but did not use it. It was grimy and was clearly unmaintained.

Let’s start with the food. Tuna melt was average and I expected being the Netherlands I would get better cheese than American cheddar. Spaghetti with tomato sauce should be renamed tomato sauce with a side of spaghetti and should be served with a bathing suit so that you can take a swim in all the leftover sauce. Our waitress was rude. I’m used to European wait staff not being as friendly as in the US, but this lady made Spanish waiters seem like the friendliest the world. The outside patio and s nice but we have to eat inside to avoid the inevitable smokers. The inside was a bit depressing. The apple pie was good. Everyone tells us tap water is excellent but no restaurant gives it to you. You have to pay for bottled water. That’s true pretty much in all restaurants

The food was tasty and the service was good, but one of the waiters had extremely long and dirty nails. As a result, I completely lost my appetite and I would not return to this restaurant. Hygiene is a fundamental factor for anyone who works with food.

The place itself is nice, but unfortunately the service made our experience disappointing. We ordered coffee with milk, and the milk was served in small individual packets. When we asked for extra milk, we were charged for it, which felt unreasonable. The waitress who served us was quite unfriendly and came across as hostile. We also asked for tap water, which is typically provided free of charge, but they seemed reluctant to serve it and would only bring us two or three glasses. Overall, while the venue is pleasant, the poor service significantly affected our visit.

We ordered coffees with milk, but were served black coffee instead and were told we would have to pay extra for the milk. We also asked for water and were only given 2 glasses for a group of 8 people, being told that we should order a bottle of water instead, even after already ordering food and several coffees. Very disappointing service.

We went here for lunch after sightseeing. We ordered meatballs and goulash. The food was delicious. Although the portions were quite large, we still wanted more. The decor was nice, the service was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the food was served surprisingly quickly.

NT$617) Mashed potatoes with spinach, Dutch sausage, meatballs (pork and beef mix) and gravy. The mashed potatoes also have some whole potatoes in them, not just pure mashed potatoes, which is great and adds texture 😋 The potatoes with spinach and gravy are so fragrant and delicious 🤤 The gravy is very rich and flavorful, with a strong aroma similar to German sausage. The Dutch sausage is super delicious and very salty 😍 A richer version of German sausage, great with rice (or mashed potatoes?) The meatballs are also delicious and quite large. Kabeljauw stamppot €18.9 (Approx. NT$679) Mashed potatoes with spinach + pan-fried cod + cream sauce The cod was pan-fried until fragrant and tender, not too oily. It was delicious with the cream sauce 🥰 The cream sauce was lighter than the meat sauce, allowing you to taste the natural flavor of the potatoes. Hollandse Erwtensoep €8.2 (Approx. NT$294) Hollandaise soup with pork sausage slices and bacon, served with rye bread and smoked bacon. Super thick, like pea porridge 😂 or like savory mung bean soup 😂 It was so delicious, I loved it 💚 It had a subtle smoky flavor, probably because of the bacon in the soup (?). The smoked bacon 🥓 was so fragrant. The rye bread was quite good for the first time. Somersby apple €6.5 (Approx. NT$233) It was cold outside but warm inside the restaurant. Drinking an ice-cold apple 🍎 was so comforting ☺️ Hot Chocolate €4.6 (approximately NT$165) A very creamy hot cocoa. Comes with a small biscuit, similar to a Belgian lotus seed biscuit. @juju.eat

The food was okay. We ordered two dishes, but one of them was already cold. Guests who arrived after us received their food in less than 15 minutes, while we had to wait significantly longer

We wanted to eat a typical dish during our stay in Amsterdam, and we were right to choose this establishment because it was delicious and the service was impeccable!

We were wandering around on our first day in Amsterdam and decided to stop in to this restaurant. The reviews seemed pretty good, but not outstanding. We really quite enjoyed it. Most other diners were eating outside (nice spot along the canal), but we decided to take a table inside. The restaurant is quite cozy and pleasant inside. Our waitresses were very friendly and helpful. I tried the Dutch stamppot and it definitely "hit the spot" that day. My wife had the beef stew and it also was good.

€15 for two small starter portions, both of which you could buy in the frozen food section of any supermarket and weren't homemade :( And some of the poffertjes were quite hard. The staff were actually nice :) And the location is lovely. I would recommend making it a non-smoking restaurant, as many people smoke and you want to be able to eat in peace.

We had a quick stop for a drink and snack. I tried bitterballen for the very first time and they were DELICIOUS! I've eaten them elsewhere since and no place else has been able to match them! Service was very friendly and efficient. Loved the outdoor seating options! Definitely recommend ❤️

Smashed potato & Fired fish with butter sauce

Our second time eating here, and both times we were very happy with everything. The tables outside have a view of the gracht and are a little secluded from the main street so you can eat in peace without people passing right by you. We had dinner: Lekkerbekje and Stamppot, Poffertjes for dessert. Everything was delicious and plenty to eat for a good price.

Had a lunch there. Ribs and Oma's soup. The soup was certainly interesting. Ribs - was fine, you got almost a kg of ribs. The interesting thing is the so called corn wine, Actually, alcohol about 40. The shot is typically in the form of tulip. Good thing. The place doesn’t even have it in a menu, if people ask they bring. I would recommend to ask and to have.

We hadn’t planned on eating dinner here, but we had finished up at the Rembrandt House and it was was pouring rain outside. This was a great impromptu place for dinner! The restaurant had something for everyone in our party (picky eaters and vegans as well as non diet restrictive).

Everything was pretty good. I liked the restaurant and the experience. I would say that the last dish in the traditional part of the menu (the purée with meatballs and vegetables) was much better than the first one in that section (the one with the meatball, sausage, and spinach purée). In my opinion, that second dish wasn’t anything special, to be honest, but some of my friends liked it, so I guess it depends on personal taste. Also, you can’t get tap water unless you order another drink.

The Pinot Grigio rosé wine tasted like it had been watered down. The staff looked very tired and fed up with their jobs. Although the location of the restaurant is very nice, the service and quality were not very satisfactory.

Nice restaurant with a surprising menu. The Grandma's soup is a special idea. Soup made by various older women (grandmas) from the neighborhood to combat loneliness. Highly recommended... The main course isn't in the photo, but our dessert... delicious mini pancakes are!

We've been a couple of times and it was great. The local food is very good. It's a more relaxed area. Having a drink in the sun while watching the canal is wonderful.

The restaurant is in the same building as the Rembrandt Museum. The food is delicious, the portions are generous. The waiters are friendly.

We went because our tour guide recommended this place to try the traditional Stamppot. It was a great choice. We ordered the fish Stamppot and it was delicious. The waitress was especially friendly.

Caminando por la ciudad estábamos listos para el almuerzo y en busca de algún lugar con asientos al aire libre cerca de un canal. Pasamos en la esquina de Rembrandt y agarramos una mesa. Queríamos probar algo de comida tradicional holandesa y nos decidimos por el stampot vegetariano, esencialmente salteado de verduras en puré de patatas. También comimos un bocadillo de queso de cabra con miel, lechuga, pepino y tomate. Ambos eran sabrosos y exactamente como se anuncia. Sin duda un buen lugar para una comida al aire libre donde la gente y la observación de barcos del canal son la actividad principal.

Vimos este lugar y decidimos reservar para la cena más tarde ese día. El personal era amable y servicial. El sello era muy bueno, caliente y lleno. Mi hija tenía el kipschnitzel que era bueno, pero no el mejor que he probado. El postre estaba delicioso y perfectamente dividido. El ambiente dentro del restaurante tenía un zumbido tranquilo. La gente estaba charlando y había música sonando, pero el ruido general era tan bajo que fácilmente podíamos tener una charla entre nosotros sin tener que gritar. Fue una noche muy agradable.

The best typical food in Amsterdam!!! The dishes were very tasty and the amount of food was very generous. The place is very well decorated inside and is very cozy with a view of the canal. We went on two occasions, when the girls served us great, on the boys' day the service was pretty bad. The plants cost around 15-20 euros, but for what they are used for and for Amsterdam, they are more than adequate.

I rarely get ecstatic about dinner. My first time in Amsterdam and I wanted to try a traditional Dutch dish, and Rembrandt Corner came up on Google maps, a traditional Dutch dish is "Stamppot" , basically, like Irish colcannon, mashed potatoes mixed with spinach, originally served with sausage and meatballs and gravy, but has been adapted so veggies can partake, the veggie one cones with mushroom sauce, which I don't like so I had gravy. It's the most delicious meal I've had in a long time. I had a Glass of wine with it, if you are buying by the glass there is only one variety of each colour, so, the red is Shiraz, which is actually not my favorite, but given the size of my dinner , a light wine was a good option. Definitely recommend a visit and definitely go with a traditional meal. The location is beautiful, the service was lovely. There is a very narrow steep stairs down to the toilets , just so you are aware.

We were only in Amsterdam for one day and wanted to try the local dish. We chose the right place at this casual pub like establishment. A nice view good service and the stamppot was one of the best meals on my two month European adventure. Good view of the canal and right next to rembrandts house.

Rembrandt Corner in Amsterdam is absolutely breathtaking! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the food is incredibly fresh and delicious. The prices are also very accessible, making it a great spot for anyone looking for quality dining without breaking the bank. A meal for 2, with mains, desserts and loads of refreshments costs us 70€. I highly recommend trying the Dutch apple pie—it’s an absolute treat! The staff are friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit when in Amsterdam!

Sadly disappointed by this place. While the staff were nice the food was not. The shrimp croquettes barely tasted of shrimp, very bland with hardly any shrimp in them. The fish & chips were very disappointing. The fish tasted cheap & muddy. Equally the burger was of poor quality. A lot of food was left because it was just not pleasant to eat.

Très simple nous avons fait une réservation et nous avons attendu 40 minutes et la serveuse nous a juste transmis nos boissons et nous n’avons pas pu commandé nos plats. Service déplorable je ne le recommande pas la serveuse n’est pas agréable. Nous n’avons même pas mangé vu que personne est venu prendre notre commande au bout de 40 minutes c’est juste honteux merci à la serveuse non aimable

Brillante elección de comida y bebidas, menús pequeños tan fáciles de decidir. La comida era muy buena. El servicio era bueno, pero no apreciamos las camareras / camareras del bar viendo películas en la pantalla grande en la zona del restaurante. Mató el ambiente del lugar. Además, extremadamente frío por lo que no es cómodo disfrutar de la comida. Además, no nos atrajo para quedarse para otra bebida.

Nice restaurant with a view of the canal, welcoming and attentive waiter, typical cuisine. We had two dishes based on meatballs and homemade mash. The quantities are adequate. The dessert is also typical and is very good (it's quite fatty!) A little bit of waiting between the main course and the dessert but it's really nothing compared to the quality of the service. The dishes arrive quickly and are well presented. It’s a great restaurant to have a good, calm and pleasant time.
