I ordered spare ribs and something didn't quite go smoothly. The owner took immediate action and corrected the mistake promptly and more than adequately. Many restaurant owners could learn a thing or two from this. If you show that you take your customers/guests seriously, you know your business! Good food and excellent service—unfortunately, that doesn't happen often anymore. My compliments!

Went to eat here on a friday night, met this chill dude Sil behind the counter. I had the ribs and wings, which where delicous. 5/5 experience

Yes it is just a really great place! Nothing more to say. I love to eat here before a movie or something. I couldn't recommend it more to everyone.

The worst ribs I've had, ever. Overcooked bland meat straight out of the freezer and slathered in sauce. Would not recommend.

There's always a sign saying "Coming soon" and meat is under heat lamps all day long. Unfortunately I tried it anyway, I could have skipped it.

La comida está bien. El servicio al cliente es terrible. No pusieron pan en mi plato que decía pan de masa madre. Cuando se le preguntó por el pan que faltaba, el servidor preguntó “¿oh quieres el pan?” ¿No viene con él...? Sólo para que me entregara con sus manos desnudas dos trozos de pan... no había nadie detrás de mí ni esperando, no tenía más que tiempo

The pulled pork bun was slightly spicy, and heavily marinated. Delicious. Only thing is the server said it’ll be 15 min wait for food and it turn out to be 30-35 mins

Me & my bf are carnivorous, so we always eat at the rough kitchen when we go to the film & food hallen. I always eat the mooink balls, and he had the medium Platter. I like those meatballs wrapped in bacon 🥓 without bbq sauce. And we also ordered the pulled pork with chicken wings.

Second time I have been to this place in 3 days the food and service is 10/10 must visit in Amsterdam. Would 100% recommend the moink balls

Food was good... but unfortunately cold... the service was totally listless and unfriendly... the guy even waited 20 minutes... a shame when there was still a nice person behind the counter If this were the case, sales would at least double

It could be called “The Rude Kitchen” based on its service, the name would speak for itself. The food, however, is absolutely delicious and at a reasonable price, so I would still come back for it.

Delicious smoked pulled pork corn bun. Well filled and nice and smoky in taste, not a lot of greenery, but some coleslaw and BBQ sauce. Well priced in good proportion.

Barney was super friendly! Really enjoyed the moinkballs and the pulled pork sandwich was delicious. They have the best fries in all of foodhallen as well so make sure you make a pit stop here!

Very decent pulled pork bun, although they call it a ‘sandwich’. Good sourdough bun with a generous dose of pulled pork, which in itself tasted delicious. Why not 5 stars? They ruin a perfectly fine bun with a load of syrupy sweet sauce from a bottle, before I even could say stop. I know there is a whole generation of Amsterdammers that grew up with McDonald’s and think that burgers and pork should taste sweet, but hey, give people a choice. Even better: give the customers more sauce options. Service was efficient.

Absolute Empfehlung! Die wahrscheinlich besten chicken Wings in Amsterdam gibt es dort. Super freundliche Mitarbeiter und auch das pulled pork und der pork belly sind absolut zu empfehlen!

The ribs were dry and bland and a little cold, didnt taste fresh.

Disgusting service by the two girls serving. Didn’t give me my full meal and when I asked about it, picked up my bread with their hands and handed it to me. Then when I asked if I’m they could put it on a plate or napkin, gave me the worst attitude. Zero in my book

Droge spare ribs en echt de kleinste racks die ik ooit heb gezien. De smaak is ok maar daar is alles mee gezegd.. absoluut het geld niet waard! de 2 sterren zijn voor de potato wedges die erbij komen. Die zijn wat klammig doordat ik het heb laten bezorgen maar wel echt goed van smaak

This is in my opinion without a doubt the best place in Foodhallen to eat sandwiches with excellent quality meat, the sandwiches in my opinion are superb, especially the pulled pork sandwich. Finally, the staff is very nice and quick to serve the ordered dishes.

Venimos a este mercado y dimos con este sitio de comida. Pedimos las albóndigas envueltas en bacon y el sándwich de pulled pork. El sándwich estaba increíble pero las albóndigas no daban la talla en mi opinión.

The service and empathie of the owner is quite remarkable! after ordering via Uber and my order not been delivered the owner helped me out and gifted me so much extra food as a compensation! I truly recommend this place to everyone.. the food is great and so tasty! And the service again is of the chart! Great thanks guys for the massive gestures and great food! You have a loyal customer in me as of now!

Amazing smoked meat. Cooked properly for the full flavour and how meat should be cooked. We had a pulled pork sandwich and meatballs with bacon wrapped around, the meatballs were so friggin good never had anything like it.

Little bit slow to serve but pulled pork's amazing, if you like pork's belly and pulled pork this is the place.

This is a such incredible place. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. It was about to close and there was no other people ordering, so we were served on the same minute. I highly recommend it.

ten eerste, de beste klantenservice die ik ooit in een restaurant heb gehad! Het eten is echt fantastisch lekker (vooral de spareribs) en je krijg een goede portie.

Spareribs droog Verkeerde saus geleverd Had een menu met een lekker broodje besteld was gewoon een gescheurde boterham. Bezorger gaf bijna verkeerde bestelling mee Hij wist niet welke bestelling voor mij was.

Preislich noch o.k.. The Rough Kitchen befindet sich inmitten der Foodhallen, einem Riesen Fresstempel mit diversen, unterschiedlichen Food-Stationen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Servicio rápido, deliciosa panceta de cerdo y pan de masa madre muy esponjoso. Fuimos por un plato pequeño que era un poco caro para lo que obtienes, pero la comida era de muy alta calidad.
