The food was a bit disappointing, agreements were not kept.

Lovely atmosphere. Chef with great taste. Personal approach. Delicious food.

Hmm, yes, it struck me as "a bit clumsy"... the staff is doing their best, and that's exactly what they're doing... their best... I grabbed the menu myself, wasn't offered a wine list, wasn't offered water, and had to ask the owner myself to be helped. We placed our order, and she understood. The food was fine, and so were we, but again, there was no follow-up attention from the staff. They cleaned several tables (next to us) while we were sitting with empty glasses. No request for dessert, so we just left it.

Delicious food and very friendly service. Something for everyone, whether you want a large dish or tapas. Children are also well catered for.

We had a wonderful meal and sat with the four of us. We'll definitely be back.

Havana Schagen, where the Cuban atmosphere transports you to a world of enjoyment! We were there with friends and everyone was impressed by the lovely atmosphere, the friendly service, and of course, the delicious food. The courtyard is a must-see! We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful meal with the kids recently. Plenty of selection and something for everyone. The eel was especially delicious!

Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. During our first shift, we ordered four appetizers, only one of which – the sweet potato fries – was served relatively quickly. The other three didn't arrive for over fifteen minutes. When we politely raised this issue, the hostess responded in a downright unfriendly manner. She said this was "the concept" and that she would "just throw the fries in" (which probably doesn't improve the taste). We found this unprofessional and far from hospitable. It was striking that another employee did speak politely to us and indicated that the dishes should normally arrive at approximately the same time during a shift. The way feedback is handled can really make a difference. A second shift was obviously out of the question for us, and we were refunded for the cold fries. However, this too was done in an unpleasant manner. This was our last time at Havana. Such a shame, especially for a small town like Schagen, where hospitality is so important.

Not a bad restaurant. The service was okay. The food was lukewarm, which you wouldn't expect from grilled skewers. They probably waited for the fries, which were warm. We had a mixed grill. It also included spare ribs, but the quantity was paltry: two 3cm bones. The meat was good, as were the fries. We thought the whole thing was a bit small. And despite the lukewarm food, we even charged for the extra mayo. The dessert was tasty, but rather small. Apple pie with ice cream. Well, another tiny piece. The taste was good, though. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it.

It was incredibly disappointing. The price-quality ratio was truly terrible. To be honest, we simply didn't find the food special, not very tasty. It was okay. But above all, the price you pay for what you get in return is simply ridiculous. Just to give you an idea, for example, €6.50 for 6 pieces of pimientos de padrón?! So more than €1 for a poorly cooked, almost raw, poorly seasoned small bell pepper! And so on. Warm apple pie with a scoop of ice cream? That was a slice of apple pie with a small scoop of ice cream, also €6.50. Whoops. We sent that back, so it really wasn't worth €6.50. We paid €75 and left still hungry. The cocktail was very tasty, though. And the service was friendly. We just weren't served very quickly; we had to keep raising our hands. No, sorry, but I don't recommend this restaurant.

In the very pleasant center of Schagen (only nice restaurants around the church) there is restaurant Havanna, which is highly recommended. Genuinely incredibly cozy, nice and sweet waiting staff and fantastic tapas!!!!

Delicious tapas! We were regularly asked for drinks or new orders and even though we had a table until 7am, we were not looked away at all and were able to have some tea afterwards. The food was very tasty and flavorful from the grill, hmm! Definitely come again

Heerlijk gegeten van de special winter/ december menukaart. Wat was het fijn. We hadden o.a. de makreel , hertebiefstukjes en panna negro als dessert. Zeker een aanrader! Gezellige warme sfeer... heerlijke wijn en eten. Top avond gehad

Heerlijk gegeten maar een afschuwelijke plek toegewezen gekregen. Naast een groep van 30 jongeren van een sportvereniging geplaatst waardoor praten met elkaar nauwelijks nog mogelijk was. Erg jammer, hadden ze ons van te voren bij de reservering op de hoogte van moeten brengen.

We hebben heerlijk genoten van van het mooi gekleurde brood met smeersels, de kleine gerechtjes en de proeverij van 5 verschillende desserts. Als we in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker terug.

We did not experience the visit as 'great'. The nachos are cheap and very salty chips, nothing 'artisan' which you would at least expect with such a name. Onion rings or other fried foods are not drained and are so greasy that they slip from your hands. At the tapas they dropped a quarter of the dish on the floor and walked away as if nothing happened. Had to wait forever for drinks and the dessert took about 40 minutes from asking to serving.

Went here for the first time with my friend and quickly noticed that we had to wait a long time for our sandwich at the beginning. When ordering our starter and main course it took a long time for the food to arrive, we had almost 2. It took an hour to wait because of the long wait. They were also always looked at in annoyance and helped as if reluctantly.

We celebrated an anniversary party with family and friends, 42 people from young to old, in the attractive courtyard of Havana. The food and drinks were super good and the service was incredibly sweet and pleasant. There were coloring books and colors for the youngest grandchildren. The music was pleasant (not overpowering). Highly recommended, highly recommended!

Unfortunately not a good review, unfortunately caused by the staff. After what seemed like a fairly inexperienced waitress, after some wiggling, she dropped a tray with two beers and a cocktail on top of my son. He was soaked, and there were drinks and glasses everywhere. Ate in his shirt and soaking wet pants. After a gentle apology from the waitress and a cleaning session at the table, there was nothing further. No manager or owner who can ask how we were or a nice word for my son. The owner even wanted to just put our starters on the wet table while cleaning. We ate and paid, after which we indicated that we did not appreciate this service. The owner didn't understand anything, didn't they say sorry??? We were absolutely not looking for a discount, but some recognition by the staff would have been appropriate.

Ate there last weekend, the service is unfriendly and antisocial towards guests. You get a big mouth and they all look very grumpy, which means there is no pleasant atmosphere. You have to wait a long time for them to serve you, even when it is quiet. The owner is lax and laconic, and is not there for his customers. Definitely not recommended! Never go here again.

We had a really delicious meal here tonight! Tapas restaurants usually serve substandard dishes, this is certainly not the case here. Previously this was a restaurant to skip, now under the new owners one to return! Our family ate many different snacks and the meat, fish and vegetarian dishes were all very tasty. It is a cozy restaurant with a nice terrace with heaters where you can also sit comfortably in the evening. The wait staff saw his work and were very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten vanavond! Voorheen was dit een restaurant om over te slaan, nu bij de nieuwe eigenaren een om terug te keren! We hebben met ons gezin veel verschillende happas gegeten en ze waren allemaal heerlijk! Zowel vlees, vis als vegetarisch, ze waren allemaal van goede kwaliteit. De bediening zag zijn werk goed en waren erg vriendelijk. Gezellig restaurant met buiten een heerlijk terras met heaters waar je ook ‘s avonds nog heerlijk kunt zitten. Wij komen zeker terug!

Arrival. Little response. No coats accepted. We had to hang it ourselves. Music: very busy. Some dishes very tasty. Lamb chop very fatty, little meat. Nachos simple and fine but not worth what they charge. Sangria: it just wasn't there, but after indicating I received a new one. Staff very friendly. Toilet: please do something about the toilet rolls, because paper does not come out. Furthermore, it was very pleasant and the other dishes were absolutely great!

Ehm...I found the service pushy when asking for drinks. It was a sad situation in terms of vegetarian dishes....I came up with an idea myself, which was initially returned with a no, it cannot be done. Could later... And.... annoying for the business, but the coffee machine was broken... but it was also impossible to drink coffee at all. Idea: perhaps add a separate coffee machine for emergencies. Probably won't come there again.

To be able to read the map properly, I don't think the lighting is the right choice where we were. We sat near the entrance and exit. Perhaps you can exchange ideas about that. Furthermore, the food and drinks were simply excellent!

Very friendly atmosphere. Top host and hostess. We had a delicious meal. Recommendations include the venison steaks and the onion soup. And delicious cocktails. Recommended!

There is a nice, cozy and yet relaxing atmosphere. The tapas and drinks were very tasty and also a very nice idea to do a kind of 3 course tapas. If we are ever in Schagen again, we will definitely go here again!!

The chef's choice food lacked inspiration. Chicken chicken chicken meat and meat yuck! While there were very different dishes on the menu. But now we eat snacks. Nothing was done with it when we provided feedback about this. Bad.

Er hangt een goed sfeertje in dit restaurant maar het eten is van matige kwaliteit. De biefstuk en de kipsate waren allebei taai!

Great food, no English language menu but between Google translate and help from the staff we worked it out. Very busy when we were there but service and wait time was still great.

Heerlijk gegeten! 1 van mijn kinderen heeft koemelk allergie, maar daar had de kok wat voor bedacht. 2 bolletjes citroenijs en toch nog een speeltje i.p.v de standaard kinderijs met een verrassing. Super lief! Let op; crystal clear staat alleen nog op de kaart, maar dat hebben ze niet.

Met 2 personen daar gegeten. 1 persoon glutenvrij. Er staat duidelijk meerdere keren op de kaart dat dat geen probleem is. Wij bestelden de ‘luxe’ broodplank waarbij vermeld staat dat deze ook glutenvrij kan . Daar werd eerst heel moeilijk over gedaan omdat ze niet wisten of er wel brood was, en dat was lastig ivm delen sausjes. Uiteindelijk kwam er dan toch een plank met 2 glutenvrij broodjes en geen gewoon brood. Gezegd dat er maar 1 persoon glutenvrij is, en of de andere persoon gewoon brood kan krijgen. De glutenvrij broodjes werden meegenomen en er kwam er 1 terug met gewoon brood. De luxe van de plank vond ik erg tegenvallen voor dat geld. 3 kleine bakjes sausjes waarvan ze zelf al zeiden dat we die niet gezamenlijk konden gebruiken ivm glutenverspreiding. Het hoofdgerecht was verder wel goed, maar voor wat je kreeg ook te duur. Drinken liet lang op zich wachten, en ons eten stond ook al een tijd klaar, voordat aan tafel werd gebracht. Dus niet echt warm meer. De grote verbazing volgde bij de rekening. Ze hadden het glutenvrij en brood nog eens als extra brood in rekening gebracht. Dit echt nog nooit meegemaakt!!! 1,95 euro voor een broodje. Gaat niet om het geld maar om het principe. Vind niet dat je dat kan maken.

Leckere mexikanische Küche. Empfehlenswert sind die Fajitas. Portionen sind groß und der Preis stimmt. Allerdings sollte an der Fleischqualität gearbeitet werden! Teilweise etwas zäh! Kommunikation teilweise (trotz Englisch) etwas schwierig...

Erg leuk restaurant, met als basis Spaanse gerechten. Gezellige sfeer, leuk aangekleed. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, erg leuk met onze dochter van 10. Het eten was dik in orde en voor een vriendelijke prijs. Wij zijn zelf gegaan voor fajitas, dus over de tapas kan ik niks zeggen. Onze dochter had de kids plate. Zij vond de kruiderij over de spareribs erg pittig, maar zij is dan ook niks gewend ;).

Quite a disappointment. We came for dinner with bigger group of people, were told we can order only a chef’s menu, 2 options between 30-35€, that without any opportunity to select what exactly we would like to get (that is especially amazing if you are a person who is a bit picky)! I find it a bit audacious! The food itself was naja ok (except salmon, which had very bad fishy taste and ribs which tasted old and completely dried)… was for me definitely not worth the price and will not come back.

Nettes gemütliches Restaurant gegenüber der Great Church. Man kann gut draußen sitzen wenn das Wetter mitspielt mit dem Blick auf die Kirche und nett was trinken. Im Inneren war es leider extrem laut und unruhig. Für nen Cocktail okay.

Havana is een leuk Mexicaans restaurant. Eerst op het terras van een cocktail en wat nachos met een dip genoten, daarna binnen tegen het terras aan maar wel op wat comfortabeler stoelen een vegetarisch gerecht besteld. De aubergine smaakte goed, evenals het toetje.

Gezellig restaurant, goed eten. De mixed grille mag wel iets ruimer voor t geld. 3 stokjes vlees, een stukje sparerib en wat groente is voor mij iig te kort..

Kleine hapjes van goede kwaliteit. Voor in het restaurant zit je gezelliger dan achter in de zaak. Daar mist wat zweer. Maar met een grotere groep is dat geen probleem.
