Great food, good service. Tables for groups of all sizes. The only downside I found was the lack of an English menu, so we had to use our phones to translate from the local language, which was quite inconvenient.

A nice and good restaurant for food and drinks. Good and friendly service. Also suitable for parties.

We weren't greeted warmly by an arrogant gentleman, so we just had a few drinks and lunch at De Posthoorn, where they were very friendly and hospitable. And the food was delicious.

One of Schagen's gems, delicious, diverse, and ready in no time! High-quality food, a beautiful building, friendly staff, and truly delicious. Easy seating and a great atmosphere! We often pop in with the kids, or friends for a quick bite or a relaxing sit-down!

Upon arrival, the host was chatting away, and I asked if we could move on to find a spot. With a somewhat joking tone (a grumpy undertone), we were shown to our spot. Not a pleasant welcome. The other staff were friendly and service-oriented.

Great place, good food, good drinks, but there's one thing I don't get. I had a great time last Saturday, and looking around, the average age is over 50. I don't understand the music blasting all afternoon. One rhythm, everything sounds the same. I've been here about ten times, but that constant, monotonous thump is starting to get to me.

Fast service and good food. A little pricey, I think. €15 for a plate where a side salad or fries would have been nice. A tiny bread roll wasn't enough. But it was good, and we had room to enjoy ice cream a little further down the street!

Not worth a single star. What a mess! The waitress with her attitude, absolutely no respect for the guests. It's unbelievable how she treats people. She doesn't belong there at all. Luckily, someone else on the team helped us, but when we received the bill, they still (afterwards) handled something incorrectly. If you're in the hospitality industry and you've brought the wrong thing to a guest, you make sure it's resolved and you're service-oriented. Not with a "here and now" attitude, and certainly not with saying you'll take it off the bill and then still charge €10 later. The restroom had no toilet paper, and no paper for your hands; everything was gone! Instead of complaining outside, you should see if anything needs to be replenished. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!

The service could be a bit faster; sometimes you have to wait a bit longer and wave someone over to order. The location and atmosphere, on the other hand, are fantastic. You sit in the sunshine, overlooking a large part of Schagen, and you can relax comfortably.

I waited 30 minutes for someone to come and take my order. The two tables next to us were helped, but he kept circling us. I ended up going to the next door to eat. What a shame.

It’s a nice spot, especially when the market is around. I wouldn’t recommend it for anything else but sitting though. It started up great, with the drink order in less than 3 min of us sitting there, after that the service itself went down the drain pretty fast. The tables left and right to ours were served while we’ve waited for 30 min before we decided it was enough of the waiter ignoring us and not even giving us a glance of acknowledgment.

What a fantastic place this is! It has a very atmospheric decor, and a great team that has a relaxed approach to customers, knows how to tackle things, and gets orders to the table in no time. Our absolute star last Friday and Saturday was Eva. The logistics in a restaurant with so many guests inside and on the patio are incredibly efficient. Everything goes to the right table. Only one word applies: respect!

A fantastic restaurant. The food is excellent, and the service is attentive, although it must be said that on two of the evenings we were there, they forgot a dish. This may have been due to poor communication, but it was quickly replaced. I can recommend it; it's perfect for a relaxing evening.

Very good spot and due to the abundance of people on a Wednesday night, obviously a like one as well. The main problem being the asking prices! Beer is like at the top Strand bars, the food as well, just the portions being for small children. It can be pricey, but get the portions right! Positives being the friendly staff and the happy smiling woman who bought the drinks!

Stopped in for lunch. We ordered the finger food fish platter. All of the items on it were extremely good. The shrimp that were not fried came in a bowl swimming in sauce with noodles. The sauce was unbelievably good with a hint of spiciness. We used the bread to make sure we got it all.

We ate there five times in seven days. And we'd go back anytime.

Chance sometimes does things well, we arrived here completely by chance, that's why it does things well because we were very satisfied, the salmon we had chosen was cooked just right, succulent, and the regular fries or sweet potato fries were delicious. I came here on Tuesday 27th of May and there was no one to come for order for about 25 minutes. Service guy was just walking around me he wanted just show me that I should waited to be seated but there wasn't any sign... What a shame ... Very nice place I always came here when I was in Schagen. Unfortunately, after my visit yesterday, I have to change my review. Allowing dogs inside a restaurant is really not acceptable! Right next to us, a couple came to sit with a dog, whose smell was disgusting. This had an immediate effect on the atmosphere and our food was ruined by it. Very unfortunate!

Great place, super friendly service, perfect prices. Had a drink and a meal here on Saturday and Sunday. Until Sunday evening when the service changed from outside to inside, we sat outside. The atmosphere was suddenly much worse. My steak was delicious. My husband's grilled meat, iron steak delicious in taste, was served cold, after indicating this it was heated in the microwave, which meant that the meat was still not warm and had become 'grey'. Very disappointing.... in addition the feeling that my husband should not 'whine', he went to the toilet and then the service (was one person) indicated that it is logical that it is getting cold', possibly meant as a joke, but a pity. We had a very nice evening in SoHo! Dogs are also allowed. We had reserved beforehand just to be on the safe side - I would also recommend that because the store was really full. It's a shame that some dishes are only available until 4 p.m. When we ordered, we were accidentally served additional dishes that we hadn't ordered - these were then free. A four-course vegan menu was available according to the service. Every round was a disappointment. 1. Just the tortilla chips with chili sauce. No salsa or vegetables. 2.
