Very nice and good restaurant/hotel

The staff and food are very good. The ambiance loses points because the tables and the area underneath them weren't very clean. This should be addressed, as many guests bring dogs, which then find treats lying around on paper and cigarette butts.

Went twice for dinner with a group of 10 people. The food was delicious and at a very good price. Service a solid 10!!!!!

After a long bike ride, we stopped here for a bite to eat. We chose a salmon meal salad. What stood out pleasantly was the exceptionally friendly staff! The atmosphere and music outside were very relaxed. Due to the rain, we moved inside. It was a bit too cool inside because of the air conditioning. The meal salad was excellent. The gluten-free brownie for dessert was also incredibly tasty. Highly recommended!

Nice concept. They are small dishes, tapas style. To feel full, you easily have to order 4 or 5 small dishes. Unfortunately, very pricey per portion, the music selection is mediocre and the volume is too high.

Had lunch at Soho today. The food was tasty, but what arrogant staff. My dog ​​is the size of a guinea pig and wasn't allowed to sit on the OUTDOOR bench, not even when I put down a blanket or sat on her lap. There was glass, a knife, a fork, and food scraps on the floor. Also, there was nowhere for her to lie down because there was a drain and very few stones. Every time I come here, I find the staff totally unfriendly. Hopefully, the waitress feels addressed by this.

We walked in on a whim and got a table quickly. English wasn't a problem. We were served promptly and courteously. From our table, we had a view of the kitchen, where the dishes were being prepared incredibly fast. They worked impressively quickly! We had a delicious lunch. Thank you!

We had a delicious lunch here. We consider this the coziest eatery in Schagen. The food is good. Plates are beautifully presented. The staff is friendly. It is very nice that they have gluten-free bread. You can sit comfortably inside, but also outside when the weather is nice. In short, highly recommended!

This is my first time having lunch here. Fantastic ambiance, delicious no-nonsense dishes. Spontaneous, pleasant service from a very friendly team. Beautiful open kitchen, which is a nice bonus for me. The price-quality ratio is excellent. I have been here once so far, but I would love to return more often to be gastronomically spoiled.

Truly my favorite place to just sit and relax. The food is really delicious and perfect for sharing and ordering a variety of dishes. The staff is friendly and the service is good. It is a cozy place in general, and there is also patio heating.

Despite our reservation, we were completely ignored. After 20 minutes, we were asked what we wanted to drink. Then, after 45 minutes, we decided to pay. We didn't have the opportunity to order anything to eat.

The food was delicious, although some portions were rather generous. The service was friendly and helpful, but it took a surprisingly long time to order, even though it wasn't busy. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience and definitely worth a visit.

Famished but a little late, we wandered through Schagen. Luckily, we found SoHo, and how! Delicious shared dining options and great drinks. The vegetarian options were also excellent: a tasty burger, beetroot carpaccio, mushroom stew, and Mediterranean vegetables, with roseval potatoes! The staff was very attentive and helpful, including by slowing us down when we tried to overorder. Highly recommended.

If you love a good beer, this is the place to be. Great tap list, but the fridge is something else entirely. You have to make a choice quickly because it gets pretty cold in there, but man, they have some good stuff in there. It changes regularly too, so don't hesitate to pop in here often. The snack menu is top-notch as well, just a bit snazzier than the standard bowl of brown fruit. Oh yeah, fun tastings every now and then too.

Shared dining, so ordering lots of small bites. It was served quickly. Not everything was perfect, but that's not necessary.

I had coffee there today and always enjoy it. But today I hear arguing in the kitchen, and you can hear it. I mentioned it to a tall, bald man who works there. He arrogantly replied: "I'll tell them to argue quietly. The guests shouldn't have to hear that." He's not qualified to replace the manager and doesn't take me seriously. That's how you create a bad atmosphere in the kitchen! It's completely different with young women; I think it's unacceptable. Go do something else then.

We had just eaten, asked for a table, made a reservation, and the food was brought to us. The extra herb butter was still missing. We then had to leave the table within fifteen minutes. Because the table was reserved for that time, which wasn't mentioned to us, we only had to eat it after the food was served. So, we had to eat and drink it within 20 minutes. 34 euros were made in 25 minutes.

Great food, good service. Tables for groups of all sizes. The only downside I found was the lack of an English menu, so we had to use our phones to translate from the local language, which was quite inconvenient.

Great place, good food, good drinks, but there's one thing I don't get. I had a great time last Saturday, and looking around, the average age is over 50. I don't understand the music blasting all afternoon. One rhythm, everything sounds the same. I've been here about ten times, but that constant, monotonous thump is starting to get to me.

Not worth a single star. What a mess! The waitress with her attitude, absolutely no respect for the guests. It's unbelievable how she treats people. She doesn't belong there at all. Luckily, someone else on the team helped us, but when we received the bill, they still (afterwards) handled something incorrectly. If you're in the hospitality industry and you've brought the wrong thing to a guest, you make sure it's resolved and you're service-oriented. Not with a "here and now" attitude, and certainly not with saying you'll take it off the bill and then still charge €10 later. The restroom had no toilet paper, and no paper for your hands; everything was gone! Instead of complaining outside, you should see if anything needs to be replenished. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!

A really great place where you can eat, have lunch, and even enjoy drinks. The food is varied, with something for everyone, and the concept of sharing food is also a great idea! The service could be a bit faster; sometimes you have to wait a bit longer and wave someone over to order. The location and atmosphere, on the other hand, are fantastic. You sit in the sunshine, overlooking a large part of Schagen, and you can relax comfortably.

It’s a nice spot, especially when the market is around. I wouldn’t recommend it for anything else but sitting though. It started up great, with the drink order in less than 3 min of us sitting there, after that the service itself went down the drain pretty fast. The tables left and right to ours were served while we’ve waited for 30 min before we decided it was enough of the waiter ignoring us and not even giving us a glance of acknowledgment.

I waited 30 minutes for someone to come and take my order. The two tables next to us were helped, but he kept circling us. I ended up going to the next door to eat. What a shame.

Very good spot and due to the abundance of people on a Wednesday night, obviously a like one as well. The main problem being the asking prices! Beer is like at the top Strand bars, the food as well, just the portions being for small children. It can be pricey, but get the portions right! Stopped in for lunch. We ordered the finger food fish platter. All of the items on it were extremely good. The shrimp that were not fried came in a bowl swimming in sauce with noodles. The sauce was unbelievably good with a hint of spiciness. We used the bread to make sure we got it all.

We ate there five times in seven days. And we'd go back anytime.

Chance sometimes does things well, we arrived here completely by chance, that's why it does things well because we were very satisfied, the salmon we had chosen was cooked just right, succulent, and the regular fries or sweet potato fries were delicious.
