Compared to the rest of the city, this place is so peaceful and quiet, perfect to relax in Amsterdam. And the waffles oh the waffles. They are the best I ve had in my life the dough is sweet buttery and a lil salty at the same time... But the service is the best! Abinaba, Todor and rest of the workers here have such nice energy, there is something really special about this place all in all... something divine. Reccomendation: • Sweet waffle(didnt take a picture): Strawberries, strawberry jam, white chocolate chips and whipped cream 😋 • Savory waffle- vegan bacon or facon eggs, brie cheese, maple syrup, blueberries and pecan nuts... Crazy 🥓🤯

Wherever do you find a Sri Chimnoy themed waffle place? The kids loved it and the food was simply wonderful.

Was looking for waffles and chai latte and found this delightful cafe in the neighbourhood of our accommodation. A lovely chilled and cosy vibe and delicious food - we had four different types of waffles and facon + eggs. All were great! Drinks also tasty - chai latte, matcha latte, hot chocolate and coffee. All five of us left happy and with full bellies. Strongly recommend if you’re after a Dutch waffle experience.

Heart-garden waffles & coffee is located in a beautiful building, where you immediately feel at home. The menu consists of waffles. But not as a snack or dessert… it's a complete lunch. The waffles are freshly made and you can choose from delicious toppings. There are a lot of vegan options, so really for everyone! (Also gluten free) They turn it into a work of art, you can find examples on their website and social media. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely come back!

Great taste of the gluten free waffle, the toppings miss savoury options and it’s sad that the facon contains gluten - cheating you out of a great protein rich topping. Would love to see more protein rich toppings & I would expect a bit better quality food than stuff bought from Albert Hein, I spotted food from Albert Heijn in their open kitchen.

The Indian Summer Smoothie Bowl is simply unique in terms of taste. The waffles seem small at first glance, but they are very filling and taste very good. The atmosphere is comfortable and the selection of drinks is for everyone. Absolutely recommended, gladly again.

Went to Heart-Garden waffles & coffee this afternoon to try out the waffles. The interior, but also the construction of the building, provide a cozy looking restaurant. The waffles are freshly baked and there is a wide choice of good-quality vegetarian and vegan toppings. We went for a waffle with brie and vegan bacon and a waffle with brie and dates. All in all a nice place for a delicious lunch in Amsterdam!

Very delicious waffles. You get to choose 2 toppings for each waffle. I got a vegan waffle, and my husband a gluten free one. Both were very good. You order at the counter and seat yourself.

The café was decorated in the style of Sri Chinmoy. The owner was really friendly! There was also a wide variety of different options when ordering a waffle. Unfortunately we didn't like the waffle batter. The toppings were generously distributed, which we found very good. I also had a lavender latte, which unfortunately I didn't like at all, but that could also be a matter of taste. We also thought the other dish, Facon faves deluxe, was a great idea but lacked some spice.

Its a cozy little place with tasty and crispy waffels. The toppings are a bit to pricy so you cant go to crazy. The atmosphere is diffrent but cozy.

We went there for the gluten free waffles. It was very far away from the city centre. I don’t really know, why they have so many good reviews. The place is pretty average but the gluten free waffles where nice :)

Great waffles 😍 Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the chance to try them and the waffles were sooo good. Very generous portion, lots of toppings to choose from which are also served generously with your waffles. I also 100% recommend the fake bacon and eggs, so crunchy and savoury. The staff is super nice, smiling at you from the moment you walk in and very helpful 😊 Amazing that they have gluten free as well as vegan options. Will come again soon!

Such a sweet little waffle shop! Really cozy. The staff is so friendly and open for allergies like celiac. For me it was perfect because they had a separate waffle maker for gluten free waffles. I think every topping is gluten free and the gf waffles are amazing not dry at all and really tasty! Also the best part: the gf stuff has the same price as the classic things. Very cute shop where we had breakfast. They had gluten free waffles which was the reason we went. The waffle itself was fluffy and delicious. Unfortunately, my topping with brie and jam wasn't that good and I didn't particularly like it. The other waffle with the cheese was very good though.

They have a wide variety of waffle toppings here - so you can make your own waffle as varied as possible. They also have smoothie bowls and a few other dishes. Tip: if you order a vegan waffle, order a sauce with it. The waffles themselves are very tasty, but a bit on the dry side.

Small location, but very nice. Really friendly and professional staff. Delicious vegan waffles! All fresh and top quality ingredients. The cards with the aphorisms are very welcome as an added cuddle. I got the Lavender Latte and I loved it. Having vegan alternatives and being so good, I recommend it, hoping that one day soon it will become totally cruelty free.

I’m disappointed to have to leave such a low review for Heart-Garden Waffles & Coffee because it’s a cute restaurant located in a cozy neighborhood that serves delicious food. However, even though we enjoyed our meal, we felt that the prices were too high: a single waffle without any toppings that was only about 20cm in diameter and relatively thin was 8,95€. Adding only maple syrup raised the price to 10,95€. And this price does not include the location: the restaurant is situated quite far from the center of Amsterdam. Second, despite the fact that we had a reservation, it took 50 minutes for our food to be served. I understand that only two people were working at the time, but in my opinion, having only two servers for a Sunday brunch service is not enough. Third, about thirty minutes after we arrived, a loud, rowdy group showed up and were being very disruptive— they were shouting and literally running around the restaurant like children. The staff did nothing about this and thus, the ambiance was ruined. So unfortunately, despite the positive points, I probably will not dine here again.

Nice vibe and good waffles and latte, but not worth it for the price imo. Ended up being around €25 for 2 relatively small waffles (one with syrup, other with caramel and chocolate sauce) and a latte, which seems a bit steep. Still, service was nice and it was tasty, so if money isn’t a big deal for you I’d recommend it. If you’re on more of a budget, you can get just as tasty (and much more filling) food for cheaper.

Very nice little relaxed waffle place with many, many combinations to top a waffle. We were there for breakfast and had waffles & Flacon-eggs-deluxe. Both were very tasty. However, we had to wait quite a long time even though there were only 2 other guests. The operator was alone and prepared everything fresh with a lot of leisure. But if you have some time with you, highly recommended.

I ordered a dish here, a facon, which was a concept of vegan bacon and eggs. I really loved it because of how innovative it was! Nothing was store bought here. Their waffles were also one of the best I have had so far. It's a very cosy place and I can't recommend it enough. It's a cafe of my dreams. 🫶

Today me and my daughter went to eat waffles at Heart-Garden Waffles & Coffee! Its a nice little place with very friendly staff. The waffles were amazing, nice and warm with alot of topics to choose from, sweet or savoury . The atmosphere is really relaxed. We really enjoyed our visite and surely wiil go again. Waffel Restaurants gibt es in Amsterdam wirklich viele, aber die meisten sind sehr touristisch. Dieses Juwel haben wir über Tripadvisor gefunden. Es liegt relativ zentral, aber abseits des Tourismus Mainstreams. Wir waren an einem warmen, sonnigen Tag im September dort, daher saßen wir draußen. Da wir vormittags dort waren, und das Restaurant nach Westen blickt, hatten wir keine Sonne. Das war aber ok, denn mit einem einjährigen Kind braucht man nicht in der prallen Sonne sitzen. Man muss aber bedenken, dass man auf dem Bürgersteig direkt an einer befahrenen Straße sitzt. Außerdem wären wir mit Kinderwagen nicht hineingekommen, da eine kleine Treppe zur Restaurantfläche führt. Bestellt haben wir an der Bar, und die Speisen kamen zügig und frisch zubereitet. Es war für uns eine tolle Erfahrung, an die wir unseren Aufenthalt auch knüpfen. Nächstes Mal kommen wir wieder, aber ohne Kinderwagen und bleiben drinnen, da man den kleinen direkt an der Straße nicht spielen lassen sollte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Nice little place serving good waffles, more akin to what I'm used to in the States compared to the over sugary offerings from the BeNeLux. Good: - Friendly attentive staff - Good basic waffles, classic US-style batter, from the waffle Iron - Purpleliscious Smoothie was excellent, was tempted to get another. Bad: - number one gripe by far, was the tap water policy indicated on the menu. It implied that tap water is free but only if you purchase a drink, and only one (small) glass per drink ordered. Now I didn't actually put this to the test, as I ordered one drink and one glass of tap water alongside it, so perhaps they're more lenient than the menu suggests. Nonetheless, when other self-advertised brunch rooms around town, take the opposite approach and either provide a jug water-dispenser at the bar, accessible to custmers (e.g. coconuts and coffee) or provide a water cup by default which the servers constantly refill unprompted (e.g. Bakers & Roasters) US-style, regardless of whether a drink is purchased or not -then this phrasing leaves a somewhat sour taste in the mouth. Tap water should be accessible to anybody really - but at a minimum to any paying customer (purchase of food alone being sufficient in this case). - second gripe, the toppings are bit expensive and can quickly add up depending on what you want to do with your waffles. Overall a solid find for me, and I will most likely be back because the waffles remind me of home. Good food and smoothies, nice service and staff. 3.6/5, if they change their water policy easily above a 4. 😁😉

Wir sind von diesem Café begeistert. Das Essen war der Wahnsinn und auch der Kaffee war super gut. Der Service ist unglaublich nett und freundlich. Die Waffeln sind unglaublich lecker und auch die Eier mit Facon waren super gut. Wirklich wunderschön und sehr lecker.

Die Leute waren hart überfordert. Mehr als eine Stunde Wartezeit für eine wirklich leckere Waffel.

Mixed feelings really. The waffle was delicious!! Though the price for some of the toppings is ridiculous. Charging 2 euros for maple syrup is just criminal. While the setting is pleasant and lovely, it was less enjoyable seeing the 2 people with zero enthusiasm or joy working there. Also not so nice that we are a table of two and one person gets their coffee and their food while the other waits 10 minutes longer for both (a coffee and waffle). So, tasty waffle for sure but, we won't visit again.

Da vegana posso solo essere ampiamente soddisfatta sia della varietà di opzioni sia della gentilezza del proprietario. Personalmente ho optato per un cappuccino al latte di cocco...e il mio compagno onnivoro all avena. Poi dei waffles buonissimi e degli smoothies veg buonissimi. Insomma se passate ad Amsterdam andateci...il locale poi merita ..

I can see how this place can have its regular happy customers but it's just not for me. +1 star for the delicious smoothies and another for the polite service. Polite but slow and odd, nevertheless. These ripped middle-aged men without any horeca experience led to an awkward exchange of looks and convos. The waffle itself was airy and delicious but too sweet for me. The savory combo with avocado and bacon was so dry! And sweet once again. Last but not least, the waffle was too expensive. Starting at 9 euro without any toppings, you can get more for the buck elsewhere.

Eten was heerlijk! Wafel met appel en karamel. Rijkelijk belegd. Bannofee cappuccino was ook heerlijk. Prijs is aan de hoge kant maar de service, de sfeer en het eten zijn top!

A truly magical place to try out waffles. From the time you walk in to the time you leave (reluctantly) you feel welcomed and taken care of by the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. A hidden gem in Amsterdam, and oasis from the busy city and a place to really unwind and relax in the tranquil energy of Heart Garden. I was only in Amsterdam for 5 days and I visited 3 times. They serve vegan and gluten free and lots of fresh fruit options. Highly recommend when in Amsterdam.

Ein echt schicker Waffelladen Wie waren hier heute Frühstücken um die Waffeln zu probieren. Der Laden macht einen sehr netten Eindruck und die Waffeln sind echt gut. Es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl und vorallem auch was das vegane betrifft. Außer Waffeln gibt es noch Avocado mit Ei und Speck, was ebenfalls ziemlich gut schmeckt. Der Preis der Waffeln ist dennoch, auch für amsterdam Verhältnisse, sehr teuer und über den Durchschnitt. Trotzdem sollte man mal vorbei kommen um eine Waffel zu kosten
