I had a wonderful experience at Moods Coffee Brunch. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly, welcoming staff. Very nice place with a delicious coffee, food and nice staff. It's spacious and they don't get grumpy if you need to open the laptop for a bit. It's attached to a gym so it gives you the sporty vibe. It's a healthy choice.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I would return to this place. The staff were not very attentive to customer requests. I specifically asked for my salad not to be served with dressing, but it still arrived covered in balsamic vinegar. To make matters worse, I found a piece of packaging in the salmon, which was very disappointing and raised concerns about food preparation standards. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations.

A nice and welcoming place inside a complex with a gym (you won't see the name "Moods" at the entrance, but the gym's name). We had salmon and cream cheese toasties followed by healthy smoothies. We're very happy with our choice.

Really nice café with such a fun and unexpected vibe because it’s inside a gym. You can come in completely not gym-ready and still feel totally comfortable. The coffee is amazing and the food is fresh and really good. Also the staff are sweet and welcoming. Such a fun and comfortable spot to have in the area.

They said the kitchen was only open until 3:30pm despite some of the menu items being labeled "All Day Brunch" and not having a listed closing time for the kitchen. The server was also having a phone conversation on his Bluetooth headset (that didn't appear to be work related) that he didn't even bother to hang up on while talking to us. It was not the best customer service.

Had the veganized avocado toast for the full price of 14,50. Pretty underwhelming but the staff was nice!

Good service. I ordered a flat white and toast with poached eggs, avocado and smoked salmon. I must say that I found the toast a bit tasteless, I think that some spice/sauce to give it a more intense flavour would not hurt. The poached eggs were well done, not overcooked. The coffee was delicious. The person who took my order me was lovely.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant at all. As soon as you arrive, you’re overwhelmed by the noise from the exercise machines and the music. Even worse is the service and the staff’s lack of understanding. The staff knows nothing about their products or dishes and therefore couldn’t help us with food intolerances. My matcha was ordered but never brought, and even after asking three times, it still didn’t arrive. In the end, the waitress asked us if the Machta had been served yet; when we said no, we received neither an explanation nor an apology. Instead, she asked us: “What else hasn’t been brought out?” As if they were already used to things not being served on a regular basis.

Located inside a fitness centre. Friendly and prompt service. We had poached eggs on avocado toast with added smoked salmon. Cafe latte was pretty mild, appreciate if bolder and stronger. Overall a pleasant and satisfying breakfast to kick start the day ❤️

Unfortunately, it's very uncomfortable. The atmosphere isn't pleasant. The menu has very little choice. Almost everything contains avocado. If you don't like that, this isn't the place for you.

The service was terrible. We wanted to have breakfast and after waiting an hour and asking several times, we still hadn't received our drinks. We left because no one responded to our inquiries. Other waiting guests (who had also been waiting for 20-30 minutes) left with us. We never received an apology. Absolutely not recommended.

We had breakfast there last week. At first, we didn't even recognize it from the outside, as you primarily notice the fitness center. We walked right past it before we spotted it. The service was very friendly. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the gluten-free options available. We ordered several different things. The bread with avocado and scrambled eggs was absolutely delicious. The muesli with fresh fruit was also beautifully presented and tasted great. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast there. The gentleman who served us was always ready with a little joke, which created a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. If we ever come back to Amsterdam, we'll definitely stop by again.

We chose this place for the high reviews but the service was extremely slow. They got our order wrong multiple times and one of the waitresses never even looked at us when putting the order down, she would leave it on the table and run away and looked annoyed that we were there. We got our drinks after our food was on the table. The food was nice and there was great potential and maybe they were just having a bad day :/

Such a shame because the place itself is lovely. But the bad service made the experience less enjoyable. The number of mistakes in the order was unusual… (Wrong milk in the coffee, wrong food order, forgot our drinks). We finished our entire meal before the drinks even arrived. When the waitress gave us the food, it was just put at the edge of the table with zero acknowledgment. I really hope some improvements can be made about the service, because the place is nice.

This brunch place is located inside of a gym, so don’t be shocked when you first walk in. I enjoyed my cappuccino with sprout milk. And their açaí bowl was loaded with all sorts of fruits! Not anything super awesome amazing, but their service was impeccable

We got the avocado toast with an egg and bacon on top, along with banana bread and a dirty chai latte. I thought it was pretty decent, however my girlfriend described it as being forgettable. It's not fancy and the menu is small, and the pictures look a littler better than it actually tastes. It will certainly satisfy your craving for an avocado toast, though. Note that the location is a bit funky as it's on the first floor of a building that is openly connected to a gym. Great if you are into watching people sweat while enjoying your brunch, which I wouldn't say we necessarily were, but it didn't bother us either.

A small, healthy restaurant near a gym. We enjoyed a very good salad of mixed greens, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, and pine nuts, perfectly seasoned. Impeccable service.

The food overall was okay. Based on the reviews I expected great service as well. However, it is safe to say that it was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had in Amsterdam before. We had to wait in line for 30 minutes even though we had a reservation. No one came to get us and wouldn't even look at the people who were in line in general. We had to go up to a waiter and ask what was going on and even then we had to wait an extra 10 minutes. Aside from this there were others in line experiencing the same thing and complaining. Food came relatively fast, but its taste/quality did not justify having to go through that.

The only thing I didn't like was the space inside the gym, where all the smells mix and people are constantly passing by. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, everyone sits very close to each other and it's very noisy, but the food is very tasty and they write the calorie values.

We had smoothies, eggs on toast (huge portions) and smoothie bowls (which had lots of fruit). Coffee was good. One of the only places open early in the morning for breakfast!

Total "Instagram trap." The food looks nice but tastes decent, especially the bread is not sourdough but a cheap grocery shop bread. The coffee was also decent and the seating area was pretty noisy. Definitely doesn't live up to the 4.7 rating. Paid 40 EUR for 2 flat white with oat milk and 2 poached egg avocado toast.

It was a delightful coffee and breakfast experience. Coming from Australia haven’t been to a cafe that also blends into a proper gym. Lovely coffee too. Didn’t skimp on the protein (prosciutto) on a beautiful pesto toast. A seat by the window in the early morning provided just the right endorphin boost for a cracking start to the day.

We visited prior to the Van Gogh museum and it was a delightful stop. The cafe is inside a gym complex but there is no disruption at all. We had the green power juice, orange juice, oat flat white and a granola bowl all of which were delicious. Highly recommended.

I'm only giving this a star because it's the minimum and the service is ok. OMG, I don't know how this place has 4.7 stars here. It's awful. The coffee was burnt (but I guess this is problem throughout Europe), the food lacked seasoning - like a had to put a TON of salt, pepper and mix with the bit of balsamic they put on my side salad. The bread... I don't know how to describe it. It was bad. Let's just say that. I'm happy I'm leaving today and I'll make sure to not recommend to any traveler

My husband and I got brunch at Moods before our tour at the Van Gogh museum the other morning and it was delicious! The staff were all very kind and the food came out quickly.

My friends and I visited this coffee shop for the first time. We ordered two cappuccinos and two toasts. The food was amazing, and the coffee was simply insanely delicious. I haven't seen such beautiful art in a long time. I highly recommend it.

Finding this place kind of confused me as it looks like you’re walking into a gym so the cafe itself is somewhat on both sides of the entrance in the building. The service was polite and quick. One of the best avocado toasts that I’ve had! And can’t go wrong with a fresh cup of OJ.

Massively overrated in my opinion. But let's start with the positive, friendly service, extremely fast from ordering to being served, but... Set within an industrial gym building it's not a cosy Amsterdam cafe vibe, gym goers in and out. We ordered two different type eggs with avo and other bits on supposedly sourdough toast..if you have ever eaten sourdough outside the Netherlands, this is not sourdough! I did ask a very lovely member of staff about it and was told it is the sourdough it's supposed to be on and was pointed towards a cardboard box which it was delivered in. The other bits sound great on paper but end up being a little side salad with a drizzle of balsamic glaze, maybe just too high expectations my end. Scrambled eggs were warm, poached eggs cold, no flavour whatsoever to either of the dishes. Coffee average but not outstanding. The whole place is clearly set up for high turnover, in, served quickly,out. Might work for some,not for me. Would not go back and would not recommend but this is not due to staff, simply setting, value for money and flavour.

I’m not sure where to begin, as the entire experience was disappointing. The food served was completely different from what was described on the menu. The “sourdough” turned out to be a thick slice of regular brown bread that wasn’t toasted at all. There is a clear difference between warm bread and properly toasted sourdough, and the menu needs changes The brunch was advertised with a salad, but there was barely any salad on the plate. Additionally, there was no mention of BBQ sauce on the menu, yet it was included in the dish. To make matters worse, the water glasses had an unpleasant egg-like smell. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations set by the menu.

Breakfast. The food is really great. Depending on the mood, according to needs - for vegans, vegetarians, etc. But the environment. If it's cold outside. Almost all the tables are in the space where the automatic doors open. So the weather in the dining area constantly depends on the weather outside. We came during the winter. It's cold. Super delicious food! A ridiculous amount of delicious fruit in the bowls. A good old-fashioned two eggs on your bread. A real 10/10. The location is a bit mediocre because it's halfway into a gym. And the decor is a bit cold. So, 4/5 overall.

We started our last day in Amsterdam with a wonderful breakfast with my daughter; all three dishes we chose were amazing, both visually and in terms of taste. We might have even eaten enough for three people! :) We were also very pleased with the service, thank you very much.

I have no idea how this place has a 4.7. The seating area is dirty. The coffee is bad. The food is instagramable but kind of gross? I got the avocado toast and runny poached eggs and the eggs came out a weird color and hard inside and the bread was some grocery store bag bread. The ambiance is terrible. I really don’t get it.
