Honestly, hands down, best brunch in Amsterdam & I have been to a few ;) High quality, nice tastes, not pretentius and great vibe, but of course the brazilian-inspired flavors are so unique! Top score.

Friendly service, cozy ambiance and great food. We were late (as it took us more than expected to get there) and wasn’t a problem, our table was ready waiting for us even tho the place was packed! Our waitress was super friendly and helpful giving us advice about the food and drinks (the drink I want was out, good reason to go back). Everyone on my group was extremely satisfied and happy with their food and drinks. Great for everyone (vegetarian, gluten free and me haha). Will be back soon Thanks and keep rocking 🤘 Much Lova 🫶

Very nice food! Summer days are a bit difficult to be indoors here as there's only one fan and it's waaaarm. I'd expect an air conditioning for a Brazilian inspired placed since this is common over there.

An incredible spot in Amsterdam! Such a good vibe—beautiful high ceilings, plenty of greenery, and if you're lucky to catch a sunny day, you can sit outside on one of the coolest streets in the city. The food is absolutely amazing. Generous portions, made with high-quality ingredients and lots of love by chef Natália. You can really taste the care in every dish. The tapioca puff dish was perfect—light yet flavorful, served with an incredible little cassava bread, a unique recipe created by the chef herself. The service is excellent—fast, friendly, and welcoming. It’s truly a unique place in Amsterdam. This isn’t your typical commercial brunch—this is food from the heart. The menu brings Brazilian ingredients into a creative and delicious experience. Highly recommended. Don’t leave without trying the pão de queijo!

The food was amazing. They won’t modify your order, but you don’t need to. Their poached eggs are perfect. Coffee, delicious. A breakfast more typical of American style, larger portions and eggs, bacon, French toast, has browns, but elevated.

Super cute restaurant! A very fun twist on Brazilian dishes and ingredients. The food was good (and beautiful!) but the pão de queijo took rather long and was not fully cooked.

We walked to Lova in a drizzling rain. When we arrived they had no availability. We were disappointed but understanding. We stepped under an awning 2 shops down to figure out where to go. Surprisingly, the gentleman host found us outside in the rain and told us he just had a table open up. No one expects that level of service. Our food was definitely different but 100% delicious! The plates are presented beautifully and the quality was impeccable. We recommend the Cartola and the Benny with bacon.

TLDR, had a long lunch here with hood food, drinks and generally a nice time Food Both dishes we ordered were lovely. They were actually a little overgenerous in my opinion but we did manage to finish it after some time. Drinks were very nice and homemade. Service Service was solid once in but there was a 20 minute wait for a table as the place is popular. Staff were helpful when placing orders but did give the fast turnover impression as they cleared plates as soon as the last crumb was gone and immediately asked if you wanted anything else. This came across a little overbearing. Atmosphere The place is long and thin as well as very busy. Sitting in the window was ok for us as you were not surrounded by noise. The aesthetic of the place was very clean and calming.

Incredible brunch, incredible quality of ingredients. Honestly I absolutely loved it. And honestly the portions are so perfect, whoever worked on that is a genius. Usually wherever I eat it’s either too much or too little, my plate at Lova was just perfect, and the service is great, full of smiles and life, very unusual in the Netherlands. Tapioca puff was absolutely delicious. The aubergine was a little bit too sour but the tapioca puff with labneh spread was amazing. The sanduba club was good too. Matcha could have been a bit stronger. Staff and atmosphere was very nice.

Locals frequent this spot. A unique blend of Brazilian and Dutch cuisine, this establishment will is one of a kind in Amsterdam. Definitely worth a visit. Get ther early as space is limited. Patio is available.

Good menu, somehow expected to have cachapa but then noticed that it’s not there and we’re long time ago. French toast was nice, really good - I prefer even more moisture in there Like in Le pain Quotidien. But this one has fruits and nice combo with peanuts!

This is a must visit place if you are in Amsterdam! No basic thing as avocado toast, but real flavours rooted in Brazil. And also a lot of things are homemade. The staff was also very friendly!! Definitely coming back here 😍

Brazilian inspired brunch place. Typical brunch menu but with some sort of Brazilian ingredients or twists. I heard that they also change their menu regularly. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The interior is very cozy, it has depth and the space is bigger than in looks from outside. Many of Brazilian arts on the wall and tropical house plants, the Brazilian music in background gives you tropical vibe from Brazil while you are there. Nice escape from cold Amsterdam especially in winter :)

We've been coming to Lova almost every weekend for the past year and we're never disappointed. The service, the staff, the welcome and the food are always top-notch. We bring all our French friends to visit us every time, and they all dream of coming back.

My new best brunch place in Ams

Located in the lovely neighbourhood in Haarlemmerbuurt. They had outside seats to enjoy the sun on a lovely day. We made a reservation on Sunday (I would highly recommend as this place gets packed during weekends!). My friend had the French toast and I had the Eggplant Miso plate. I had to add a couple of things (2 poached eggs and chicken) to make it a full meal. The portion sizes were a bit smaller than expected (considering how pricey the items are) but the flavours were good. Service was very friendly and accommodating.

Cute brunch place with average food. We had ranqueijao and mandioca cassava hashbrown. I liked the casava hashbrown and both dishes looked social media posting worthy, but the flavor was nothing of anything special. The place is cute and packed with people but the acoustic was terrible given the amount of loud people for Sunday brunch, and one with a video call on a speaker phone?!? The service was slow, and the hygiene was questionable. The water bottle wasn’t clean and the cup had lipstick on…

The service was very nice and helpful, drinks were brought super fast! Food was tasty, only the option with cornbread (I added a salmon as well) needs more eggs or other things, otherwise it feels like eating cornbread only with tasteless salad. The other dish with poached eggs and salmon was great! Cheese bread also delicious, would be great to get it before the main meal.

A cozy little café with a Brazilian flair. The dishes were flavorful and the portions generous. Especially enjoyed the combination of tahini sauce and grilled augbergines – really well balanced taste. What truly stood out though were the tapioca puff breads served on the side: fresh, warm, aromatic - absolutely delightful.🫠 Great coffee, too. Highly recommend for breakfast lovers who are tired of the usual poached eggs and want to try something original.

Simply incredible, a meaningful gastronomic experience in the picturesque surroundings of Amsterdam. The dishes I had the pleasure of trying were incredible, delicious toasted breads, with a little egg that melts and harmonizes with all the other ingredients. It's always worth adding bacon! It's impossible to leave without trying the cheese bread, which is always warm (by the way). Tip of the day: don't forget to try Nath's incredible Cookies, it's hard to decide which one is the best ;)

"all day brunch", but the 3 times I've visited the kitchen was closed.. name needs to be changed for "all day coffee, sometimes brunch or breakfast" Edit Response: It's completely not clear on Google maps because the info is that it is open from 9:30am/4pm, but then you have to go to a separate tab, which includes the kitchen hours, which is in closed tab. And no one goes to your website to check if a kitchen is open or not.. If you are an "all day brunch & breakfast" I do expect you to be that. One of times I was in the place at around 11am, and there was no kitchen staff, so no food could be prepared, so it doesn't really matter. Also the first thing staff says is that kitchen is already closed, so that only shows multiple people have the same problem. It's not as transparent as you think.

Amazing place for brunch on a beautiful Sunday morning! The place looked busy so we almost didn’t go in, but the host took our name, told us to go walk around the neighborhood for about 20 minutes and come back. When we did, the table by the window was ready and waiting. We ordered the Requeijão Benny and Cartola French Toast. While we waited we enjoyed stellar cappuccinos and the fun, lively atmosphere. The food was amazing and the service was spectacular. Prices were very reasonable for such good food and vibes. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food, fantastic coffee, fantastic service, fantastic music, fantastic location, lots of space, and a baby changing table. Brazilian-inspired recipes that would appeal to anyone that craves latin american food, but in a healthier, tastier, more (hipster) contemporary version than most ethnic food joints. Kudos to the team.

Phenomenal homemade dishes made from fresh products, great customer service and excellent coffee! What more do you need?! The fact that it’s a family owned All Day Brunch & Breakfast restaurant adds to have an even more personalised experience since the dishes are unique and you can’t find them anywhere else in Amsterdam! I had the Milho and it was divine! Also, delicious oat latte 😍 Thank you Lova! I’ll be back for the Cartola French Toast!

The food was very different then when I I’m normally used to but that is the whole concept of trying a restaurant that is from an other cuisine. I tried the French toast it was again different than I was used to. It was nice very flavorful, but it’s something you will either like or hate. The French toast was very moist and had nice milky taste. The ambiance was nice and the staff was nice as well. Definitely something you need to try. The drinks were amazing as well!

Was so looking forward to coming here, however the service will drive everyone away, guaranteed. Never met a ruder staff- the female that was working for sure hates Americans. That was made clear- I’ll Skip this for the rest of my trip and tell anyone traveling from the US to skip.

I went for brunch this morning and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When we arrived, we were told that we only had an hour and a quarter to eat because of upcoming reservations. After sitting down, we ordered our food, and the dishes arrived 30 minutes later. Once we finished eating and ordered dessert, the manager came over and told us we wouldn't be able to have the dessert because there wasn't enough time and we needed to vacate the table. It would have been fair to let us know upfront that we only had 30 minutes to eat so we could have chosen to eat elsewhere. Instead, we were rushed to finish our meal and couldn’t even have the dessert we ordered. It was not the experience we were expecting, and I won’t be returning.
