My first Brazilian all-day-breakfast experience in Amsterdam and it was amazing. Their traditional cheese bread is amazing, took them less then 20mins to serve my 5 piece order and it was jaw-dropping for me. İ like salty cheese and it's an amazing bled . Also Benny and Portobello were so tasty. Staff is so nice and helpful. I like inside and the ambiance too. I did walk in but due to the location, it's popular so expect to wait in line.

Good breakfast and very good drinks. The service is very friendly, however, one point is deducted because the empty plates were not cleared even after more than an hour, despite the staff having plenty of downtime.

The food was nice, and the coffee was really good. However, the service was disappointing. The waiter was not very friendly and brought us the bill without us asking for it, even though we were still ordering and had already ordered multiple items (coffee, chai latte, French toast, and two milho). The restaurant was not busy at all only 3 or 4 tables were occupied and we were planning to order more coffee. Unfortunately, we were not given the chance because the bill was presented without asking. On top of that, the waiter refused to accept cash, which was frustrating. Overall, the service did not match the quality of the cafe

Good food, good vibes. I had the milyo (?) and the poã dd guileo. I would go again, to try more because the menu has multiple good options in my opinion. The eggs were poached perfectly. The poã didn't wow me.

Cosy and friendly lunch and brunch place in Amsterdam West. Brazilian background, various vegetarian options. Most local ingredients, but not specifically organic. The eggs are great and taste combinations of sweet and salty are interesting and tasty. Coffee is strong, even the Americano. Service in English. Prices acceptable, given the location near the centre of Amsterdam.

Delicious food and way more gluten free options available from other places around the neighborhood. Place was packed, but service was despite the rush hour friendly.

Lova is an absolute gem in Amsterdam. The cappuccino is excellent, perfectly balanced and beautifully crafted. The food is delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The service is outstanding, the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The vibe is relaxed with a cosy, inviting interior that makes you want to linger. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great coffee, great food, and a great atmosphere. Reservation recommended, despite Lova always keeping some space for walk-ins.

Worst service ever , I wait for 10 minutes at a door , first in queue , waitress asks how many are we and if I have a reservation - I say no reservations and she is gone. Then she comes along here and there and 10 minutes after she puts to my face a QR code to make an online queue ! Are you joking ? Why you didn’t tell me about “online queue” while you were asking if I have a reservation ?!

You definitely need a reservation. And even if you have one, you might still get seated by a door that keeps opening, letting in the Amsterdam wind. So dress accordingly. Unfortunately, you can’t customize the dishes. If there’s something you don’t eat, you’ll have to pick a different option - they won’t remove the sauce or the mushrooms for you. There are no dedicated kids’ meals, but you can order something from the side dishes. All that said, we really enjoyed it. The Brazilian cheese buns were absolutely delicious - possibly the best I’ve ever had. The pulled beef dish was excellent, and the service was fantastic. Everyone was happy with their food and drinks. And these are not the kind of dishes you’ll easily find anywhere else.

Excellent! I had something gluten-free, I can't remember what it was, and the cheese bread was perfect. The chai was 10/10. I would definitely return.

Lova is really a gem of a brunch spot in Amsterdam. The dishes are so flavorful and creative - absolutely love the Milho, it's a 10/10 every time. On top of the delicious food and cozy atmosphere, what really stands out is the service and hospitality. Every time we've been with a reservation, the staff has never rushed us out and lets us fully enjoy our time slot, even letting us stay well past it until the next booking arrives. This is definitely not always the standard with Amsterdam brunch, so I really appreciate it and hope Lova always keeps their warm and welcoming vibe, even as they grow in popularity. 🫶 As a suggestion, it would be super nice to have filter coffee as an option on the drink menu!

For the third time within a year, we visited this place and again we left very satisfied, with Lova scoring highest ratings. From the friendly, kind and helpful staff to the excellent and tasty dishes, the beautiful coffee and fresh juices, this place is just simply a pleasure to visit. Don’t forget to order the Pão de Queijo …. Lova is highly recommended!

Quite disappointing to be writing this review. I had pinned LOVA for a while now, and finally got the chance to visit with some friends who were visiting from abroad. From the beginning the waiter was quite rude to us when we requested a third stool, there were plenty around that were available, the table next to us (with an extra chair) offered kindly to give us their stool since they weren’t using it. This came from a fellow guest, not the unkind waiter. The food itself was quite average. Beautifully presented but the taste fell short of what I was expecting. Several times- while we were eating- the rude waiter asked my friend to shift closer to the table (which she was already hovering over) to give extra space to others. It is worth noting her chair wasn’t in the walking way of any person who would have arrived. Overall the vibe was rushed, impatient and just not worth spending €15 per dish.

i used to enjoy going here in the last 2 years, partially for the friendly staff, but they have all gone, and now there is a short, rude, balding man who will laugh in your face and condescendingly call you “buddy” if you dare to suggest you’d like to drink coffee at his cafe. he was indeed thoughtful enough to offer a seat outside while it was raining though :) and don’t please respond to me with AI generated responses. its very tacky behavior

Delicious food, beautifully presented. Pleasant service. We got there during rush hour, around lunchtime, but were seated fairly quickly. Apparently a popular place. I'll definitely go there again if I'm nearby and hungry. This is a case where the taste exceeds expectations.

My sister and I visited at 11:50 this morning (Friday, mid-October). She asked if it was okay to just have coffee, and we were told that coffee-only guests must sit outside. I said that was disappointing since it’s too cold to sit outdoors and mentioned I’d leave an honest review. The waiter then offered to ask management if we could be accommodated, but I declined — I didn’t want any special treatment, maybe just because I mentioned leaving a review. This review is simply to let others know: if you’re looking for a warm, comfortable place to sit inside and enjoy just a coffee, Lova isn’t the place for you. The sad thing is, that we are very unlikely to ever return there even for brunch. And it wasn't even full, they had space for us.

Great brunch after my beauty service next door

Had a lovely brunch at Lova. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and delicious homemade food. Every dish was offering a new culinary experience with surprising combinations and a true taste of Brazil. The Pão de Queijo was absolutely delicious, as were the Short Rib Mandoca and the French Toast!

I personally love Brazilian food and I love stumbling across it accidentally! The food was delicious and the stuff was super cute and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised. Although the coffee is not he best I have ever had, it was ok. I also ordered fresh orange juice. And for brunch, I ordered the Milho with extra bacon. I was not expecting the dish to have those flavours, really tasty. My choice pleasantly surprised me, with a mix of sweet and savory flavours. The poached eggs were perfect. The brioche melted, and the bacon was crispy. A good place for a different kind of brunch.

My visit to the restaurant was for brunch, and it was one of the best brunch experiences in Amsterdam. The food was high quality and attentive, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I thank the restaurant staff for this unique experience, and God willing, I will visit again soon.

Lova Amsterdam has a lovely atmosphere , cute breakfast spot, and id say generous portions. The food itself was not bad, but it also wasn’t perfect, with a little more care and attention in the way the dishes are prepared, it could truly be amazing. As it stands, it’s decent, but with some extra effort in preparation, the flavors could shine much more. PS: the matcha was REALLY bad.

I wouldn't go there again. Expensive, cramped (chairs are uncomfortable), and the atmosphere and decor are mediocre. The service is a bit forced. No need. It's just a lunch spot on Haarlemmerdijk. Relax!

Haven't had such a good brunch for long time in Asterdam! Special Brazilian recipes with amazing combination of ingredients. Definitely recommend to give it a try if you are fed up of basic avocado toasties... The service was fast and people working were happy to help. The space is cozy, when busy might get a bit too noisy but there are also tables to sit outside!

I am here for the SAIL event and went to this place to eat. Tried the Pao de Queijo with cheese spread and Benny with Salmon. They were delicious. Very attentive and friendly staff. Drinks were great too. Will definately come back.

While I enjoy varying tastes, I also enjoy a varied menu. I understand having limited options are great so that the kitchen isn't clobbered or overwhelmed, it would have been nice to have some type of alternatives (bread, eggs, cheese, etc). My husband enjoyed his meal, but I simply wanted some sort of toast or bread (perhaps with butter). Not on the menu. But, I will say our server was absolutely adorable and very, very pleasant.

The flavors were well-balanced; I found the cornbread too grainy. The portions were generous! The juice was delicious, and the Pão de queijo was wonderfully warm and soft. There's a good turnout, so reservations are sometimes necessary. We'll definitely try a sweet dish soon. Highly recommended!

Unbelievably amazing breakfast and coffee. Wow. I’d eat this breakfast every day of my life if I could. It was our favorite breakfast/ brunch spot on our trip. The service was great, the food was out of this world and unique, the lattes were awesome, and the cheesecake was very good. Just wow. I’ll dream of it. The vibe was also fabulous! I liked the Brazilian touch.

Our waitress was super friendly and helpful giving us advice about the food and drinks (the drink I want was out, good reason to go back). The food is absolutely amazing. Generous portions, made with high-quality ingredients and lots of love by chef Natália. You can really taste the care in every dish. The tapioca puff dish was perfect—light yet flavorful, served with an incredible little cassava bread, a unique recipe created by the chef herself. The service is excellent—fast, friendly, and welcoming. It’s truly a unique place in Amsterdam. This isn’t your typical commercial brunch—this is food from the heart. The menu brings Brazilian ingredients into a creative and delicious experience. Highly recommended. Don’t leave without trying the pão de queijo!

The food was amazing. They won’t modify your order, but you don’t need to. Their poached eggs are perfect. Coffee, delicious. A breakfast more typical of American style, larger portions and eggs, bacon, French toast, has browns, but elevated.

We walked to Lova in a drizzling rain. When we arrived they had no availability. We were disappointed but understanding. We stepped under an awning 2 shops down to figure out where to go. Surprisingly, the gentleman host found us outside in the rain and told us he just had a table open up. No one expects that level of service. Our food was definitely different but 100% delicious! The plates are presented beautifully and the quality was impeccable. We recommend the Cartola and the Benny with bacon.

TLDR, had a long lunch here with hood food, drinks and generally a nice time Food Both dishes we ordered were lovely. They were actually a little overgenerous in my opinion but we did manage to finish it after some time. Drinks were very nice and homemade. Service Service was solid once in but there was a 20 minute wait for a table as the place is popular. Staff were helpful when placing orders but did give the fast turnover impression as they cleared plates as soon as the last crumb was gone and immediately asked if you wanted anything else. This came across a little overbearing. Atmosphere The place is long and thin as well as very busy. Sitting in the window was ok for us as you were not surrounded by noise. The aesthetic of the place was very clean and calming.

Usually wherever I eat it’s either too much or too little, my plate at Lova was just perfect, and the service is great, full of smiles and life, very unusual in the Netherlands.
