Amazing restaurant! This place goes to show that vegan food can compete with any other cuisine. I loved the ‘Mexican sushi’ and the spirulina tagliolini with almond and lemon sauce. The mocktails were yummy too. Just delicious! The service was wonderful, as well.

Hip place with 'sound bar', friendly staff, experimental menu and beautiful decor. The menu consists of entirely plant-based dishes. One plate looked even more spectacular than the other. Despite the presentation, I thought the taste of most dishes was tasty, but not very pronounced. I tasted several dishes such as the black ravioli and the different types of sushi, but unfortunately I found the flavors ordinary. Too bad, because I had high expectations and wanted to dine here sometime because of the vegan menu. When I was here (a Friday evening) the whole place was full and everyone was cramped together. There is nothing wrong with that, but it took a long time before we were helped and it was very noisy. Overall, okay food, nice place, but I wouldn't come back. Also because everything was quite expensive and then it was not worth it for me.

Deliciously different! Had the tasting course to try this place out - every dish had its uniqueness. My favorite was the charcoal ravioli. Service was attentative and kind.

Vegan restaurant with staff who also speak Italian. Better to book so as not to miss the chance to try it because it is really very popular. Without taking us they found a place for two within 10-15 min. The staff were very friendly and available to advise. Also recommended for those who do not follow the vegan diet because the combinations are really interesting and innovative.

Have been to Hearth 4 times with my girlfriend and it's our favourite restaurant we have ever been to, not just in Amsterdam! The food is amazing, great drinks options, great atmosphere, friendly staff - food that even the most anti-vegan could enjoy!

Just amazing sushi experience in this restaurant even for total vegan food opponents. Probably the best sushi I had. The mains were also good. The only problem, really expensive water, we paid 10 eur. (for 2 bottles)

This restaurant is a true gem in Amsterdam! I visited with my daughter last night, we order the tasting menu. The delicacy of the flavors was just spectacular! My wife eats plant based diet so we chose Hearth for dinner. It was so good. The Umami Old Fashioned cocktail was absolutely out of this world. Dining selections were all top notch, plus the staff were so friendly. Highly recommended to anyone who likes good food, but if your diet is plant based then I think you will love it.

I took my boyfriend for dinner at H/earth and it was, in a word, amazing. We both eat vegan and I don't know if we've ever eaten something so delicious. A culinary tour de force and service with a heart for the business. We took the tasting menu (recommended!) and were surprised by the (very friendly) chefs. The whole experience was great. 10/10 recommended!

I don’t usually care that much about food — and even less about how it looks — but this was something else entirely. Still amazed! We had the taster menu and were served several rounds of delicious, unique, and beautifully presented dishes. It was fine dining with a relaxed, casual vibe and a genuinely friendly atmosphere. The live DJ playing mellow music in the background and the open kitchen really added to the experience. And on top of that, it was all vegan. Impressive. My girlfriend and I loved it — we’ll definitely be coming back more often. Thanks!

Gorgeous space, wonderful and attentive staff, and great music. The food was creative and delicious, though the texture of the buckwheat and lentil gnocchi was more dense than I would have liked *but* to be expected for those ingredients. Still, great taste and bright, fresh sauce. The broccoli gnocchi were right on. The red quinoa sushi was exquisite and the cocktails are phenomenal. We opted to have bread for dessert to soak up the sauces the aioli was unreal.

We had a great meal and a very enjoyable evening. The service was good from start to finish but some of the dishes did not hit the spot. The tempura jalapeños were disappointing and I personally did not enjoy the black charcoal ravioli - the pasta was far too thick and the sauce too sweet and sickly.

Just really good! This restaurant deserves to stay. Very nice dishes and beautifully developed flavors. Presentations looked dignified and imaginative. The decoration of the store was also tasteful and neat. Beautiful materials. Actually, this is how it should be: Out of obscurity and into the Michelin spotlight. Compliments to owners and staff!

The best vegan food I’ve had in Amsterdam! It’s such a warm atmosphere and the team is absolutely lovely, so helpful and so welcoming.

Simply put, the best cruelty free restaurant in Amsterdam. We were supposed to try a different restaurant every of our three evenings in Amsterdam, but right after the starters, we looked each other with my friend and agreed that we had to come back the next day. The staff was lovely, the place was cosy and the food was a blast of taste. The focus of our trip was to visit the city by bike and the main museums, but the time we've had in Hearth has been an unexpected highlight of our trip. Thank you so much and I wish you guys the best.

Everything was delicious and lots of gluten free options. We had the Rawvioli, potatoe leek soup, the king oyster mushroom scallops, with lemon chia tea. Maja our server was very personable and accomodating. She made our experience fun and personable. Great experience!

The service was great the host was very attentive to our needs and the server explained every dish making it a more intimate experience. We dined at Hearth last night, the service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was superb. We were greeted quickly on arrival and taken to our table, our waitress was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We made our starter and main choice and loved that the kitchen adhoc sent small taster plates from the menu for us to try while we were waiting. The food looked beautiful and the flavour combinations didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was also great with background music and the buzz of other guests enjoying their meals. Dessert was equally delicious. My husband is not vegan and thoroughly enjoyed his meal as the menu was incredibly well conceived. We highly recommend Hearth and if we return to Amsterdam we will definitely come back.

The ambiance of this restaurant was very nice. The service was pretty good too. The food was good, but nothing particularly special. The broccoli gnocchi were very basic, not a lot of flavour. The mushroom scallops were delicious and spicy. Perhaps for the price I would expect slightly more delicious food.

Hearth is een heerlijk vegan fusion restaurant! De sfeer was supergezellig en de service vriendelijk en attent. Het eten was verrassend en ziet er prachtig uit. Het beste aan Hearth is de presentatie van het eten en de service. Bediening was attent en zelfs de chef kwam langs aan tafel. Om maar met de deur in huis te vallen: werkelijk fantastisch eten en het ziet er allemaal Michelin waardig uit!

I love the staff, the food, the sound bar and the atmosphere. The thing that attracts me was that they make their own style of vegan dishes. It was my first time finding a place that cares about several diet restrictions. The flavors were delicious and very inspiring! Thank you so much for the hospitality Marco. This place felt like a family. I actually expected a different style of music but I enjoyed it a lot.

I almost don't dare to post my inferior rating, but I do it anyway. The food was generally beautifully presented and was unique as it appeared on the menu. Not standard. Then the taste. The jalapeños won and were tasty, but the blue spirolina was flat. I haven't tasted peppers, for example. Saw red tufts in a photo of the reviews, I didn't see them in mine, the dish even looked boring. The zucchini brownie was dry and didn't taste any orange in the whipped cream, not really tasty. The matcha dessert at our table companion was good. The music was really too loud, we had to talk very loudly to hear each other. I knew we had a 2 hour time slot. On closer inspection, this is really a shortage for 3 courses. Before my last bite was finished, our time was up. There was no time for coffee. The cocktails for 2 table companions had to be drunk in a hurry. And although the English-speaking staff were friendly, it is annoying when plates are removed while others at your table are still eating. All in all, I think €64 pp is too much money for the time and amount you get. Maybe these are new standards but I think it's too....

This is the best restaurant I've been to in Amsterdam. The ravioi isn't just good vegan food, it's the best ravioli I've ever had (seriously). The faux gras is also incredible. I would fly back to Amsterdam just to eat here again.

This restaurant is a MUST! I took a recent trip to Amsterdam and looked for vegan restaurants as a spoil for my partner. Shown 100's of different options, I stumbled upon Hearth! This restaurant is honestly one of the best ones that I have been to in a long time. From the moment of arrival and being greeted at the door to the attentiveness of the service team (recommendations given which did not disappoint, to one of the chefs coming out onto the floor and checking on all of the tables. The drinks and food were all spectacular and only left me wanting to order everything that was on the menu. 10/10 Will definitely be back if ever in Amsterdam again!

Came back to eat here after visiting Amsterdam a year ago - food and drinks are outstanding and the service is top tier. They were very accommodating to allergies etc. As a vegan it’s an absolute treat to be able to do fine dining at such a high level.

Have be to Hearth five or six times. Always my go-to when in Amsterdam. This visit was a tad underwhelming, mostly due to a loud group surrounding the back tables and drinking near the fireplace. Was elbowed a few times by the crowd while trying to eat. Glad they were having fun, but didn't make for the enjoyable experience I usually have at Hearth. Service also a bit slow and scattered, probably as a result of the chock full restaurant and standing room crowd. Still one of my favorites, but disappointed this time around.

Expensive and we left hungry after a 3 course meal. Some of the food was delicious, like the oyster mushroom scallops which were gorgeous. A lot of it was really lacking in flavour though, like the crumble for dessert was bland, tiny and 12 euro. The cocktails were very tasty but I won't be bothering with the food again.
