the food was not good could’ve been way better and more flavourful fs. aglio e olio pasta was just bad bruschetta was bad loaded nachos were okayish maybe if u go dont order these

Food was alright, nothing special really, but service was really slow, even after most costumers had left and the restaurant was practically empty. Would recommend the stroopwafel dessert though. Bathrooms didn't have soap, yuck. All in all I feel there must be better vegan places in Amsterdam.

The food was incredibly delicious and simply made us happy. The portions were very large, and the appetizers were easily enough for two people. The service was super friendly and we were asked several times if everything was okay. We got the leftover food in a box and we were also able to take the apple pie to go. Overall, a great store with reasonable prices!

There was a hair in my pasta which they had to remake. Felt a bit dirty and dingy inside.

A great meal spent in this establishment, Raymond knows how to put his customers at ease with his smile and his kindness. Their satay dishes are delicious.

We dined last night as a table of four. The food was fantastic and could not fault this at all. Unfortunately our service was very impersonal and unprofessional. The server (only guy working) seemed annoyed when we asked for only tap water to drink to begin. He then took away the drinks menu, assuming that’s all we wanted (we’d have ordered more, but for us it hard to get his attention after this). When asking for a refill when our mains came, he again pulled a face and seemed annoyed. We may have spent quite a bit more and stayed even longer, if the server was happy to let us go at our own pace, and enjoy the experience. When it came to paying, we asked to split the bill and he said he could only take one card (even though the bills shows split options at the bottom). I mentioned this and he again seemed upset. After this, entered an amount €8 euros higher. I queried this and again he seemed annoyed. Watch out for this I’d say.

Our first day and what a great place to start the night for food. The burgers were delicious, the bitterballens were perfect and the waffle dessert was scrumptious. Amazing start to the holiday 👌

This was my second time coming back to this vegan restaurant, and it definitely won’t be my last! You can really tell the owner puts love into everything he does. Such a nice and friendly guy with incredible customer service, always making sure you feel welcome and taken care of. Highly recommend this spot to anyone, vegan or not!

Accompanied my daughter here who is vegan and I ordered the pesto pasta. Delicious- the staff is very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is inviting. Definitely recommend.

Sono felice che ad Amsterdam esista un “Tempio Vegan”. Il personale è stato gentile e Ci ha chiesto un feedback a fine cena (questo dimostra che tiene al proprio lavoro). Il panino ordinato non mi ha particolarmente entusiasmato. Prezzo sostanzialmente nella media della cittá. Onestamente mi aspettavo un po’ di più, ma forse la concomitante festa del Re nel giorno della mia visita ha giocato a sfavore (ad esempio, bagni erano affollati e non proprio pulit). In ogni caso, finché c’è vegan c’è speranza.

The food was okay but nothing special. The ambiente is small and cozy. But I really need to critizise the service. I ordered a peppermint tea and got a cup of hot water with fresh peppermint leafs in it. When I put the leafs out, I saw small insects in the waiter. I informed the waiter about it. I got another peppermint tea and experienced the same again. The weiter told me, it's part of the peppermint but it wasn't. There really had been INSECTS in the tea of a vegan restaurant!

Absolutely disgusting! I went safe and ordered a plain burger and chips. The burger was the most disgusting thing I'd tried in my life and the "potato" chips I'd ordered came a Sweet Potatoe disgusting shit! It was horrible and inedible Do yourself a favour. Never ever make the mistake of coming here

Such a cute vibe, delicious looking and tasting food and the nicest people! I really recommend this place if u eat vegan food. The menu is also very diverse.

Took myself and my partner (who is a vegetarian) to this restaurant and were wonderfully surprised by the dishes. Nice and friendly, multi-lingual staff. As a non-Vegetarian I would LOVE to come back here again.

Great place for a quick fix of amazing vegan food. So tasty. The shrimp are out of this world. Delicious dinning and the cocktails are great for a dry mouth

The food was tasty, but not worth the high price for me, as I've eaten better in Amsterdam. The burger patty actually tasted a lot like real meat, even though it was vegan, which was really good. The ambience was certainly nice at one time, but now everything seemed a bit run down. There were stains on the chairs and the bench had some leather left on it.

Fast, not very expensive, not very special. 10 years ago I would have loved it, now there are better options in terms of food, but hey, this is nice and central in Amsterdam, so close to the Leiden square.

Had a very nice meal here and definitely recommend the place. Tasty burgers and loaded fries, the kapsalon was very good. My friend also enjoyed the pasta Napolitano. The mood is good and the music is not too loud. The server was kind and helpful. I will absolutely come here again.

My first vegan burger. He was fantastic!

The chicken satay bowl was really yummy. I would definitely have it again and try other items on the menu. Portion was great. The water glasses were really small, and we got thirsty quick, it would be nice if a pitcher was left at the table so we could refill our waters.

We stopped for an early dinner on a Saturday. Lots of choices, and both entrees we ordered were delicious. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Very nice and cozy restaurant in Amsterdam city center. We have been here twice, and tried both the sides (nachos and bitterballen) and the burgers. The burgers in particular were amazing, and the staff is very friendly

My burger and my partner's pasta were both amazing and the fries were really good as well! Everybody was very welcoming and friendly and the interior looked quite beautiful. All around the best restaurant experience we had on our trip and one of the best I've ever had personally, can recommend unconditionally

Delicious food! OMG, I’ve been to Amsterdam a lot and always missed this place! But best vegan carbonara in the whole world!

It was sooo fun. They were so nice and we also stayed very late when they were actually closed and they remained very hospitable and helped us!!! You have to go here!! And of course the food was delicious!

It was my second time here and I would always visit again. The options are big and the food is very delicious. A big thanks to the nice owner who talked with us and made us laugh.

The burger I enjoyed in this small but fine restaurant was simply the best I have ever eaten. The patty was perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were fresh and the sauce was simply heavenly - a masterpiece of vegan cuisine! The owners and the waiter were incredibly friendly and helped me a lot with my choice of burger. It was particularly positive that he pointed out to me that gluten-free side dishes are deep-fried in the same fat as gluten-containing products. This shows how much importance he attaches to the needs of his guests. I can only recommend this restaurant - both the food and the service are great!

I really wanted to like this place but was pretty disappointed. I had the nachos and it reminded me of nachos you can get at movie theaters, which isn't a bad thing but clearly not what i was expecting. Nothing was heated up, certainly hadn't gone into an oven like I thought it would have. Food was expensive for what you get The place is very pretty but when I was there the inside had a bad smell, luckily they had a couple tables outside so I sat there. I would come back only to try some of the other menu offerings and hopefully change my opinion.

We ate here twice and can highly recommend the Vegan Temple Bar! On our first visit we had a burger with homemade fries and a rainbow bowl. The burger was very tasty and especially the homemade fries were great!! The second time we had Loaded Fries (note, these are normal fries and not the homemade ones, which is a shame) and the Party Mix Platter. The restaurant is nice, the service is quick and friendly! The drinks are very expensive and ketchup or similar costs extra, which is a bit excessive. We would still come back!

Decent vegan option in the center of Amsterdam. Our host was friendly and welcoming. I found the prices to be a bit on the high side, especially the desserts. The BBQ Ch*cken burger was pretty good, I also got the cheesy bacon fries on the side but would probably stick with a more plain side the next time.

We decided to try Vegan Temple Bar for dinner based on the good reviews and online photos, but the experience was disappointing. The overall vibe was really off, staff were sitting at empty tables on their phones not checking on guests, and openly flirting and touching each other. Despite there being only one other table eating, the food took an unexpectedly long time to arrive. The service was really bad, I don’t recommend this place and don’t think we will return.

As a meat eater i must say: these burgers are very tasty. No compromises. I could eat this everyday

I just ate an awesome burger and delicious sweet potato fries. Didn’t have more space for the dessert as the dish was very filling.

While there was a nice atmosphere in the venue and the service was impressive (The waitress remembered all of our order by heart) The food was very disappointing, mostly fried and tasteless. The beyond burger was decent 👍

I came for dinner and expected great things from the reviews. The shop itself is nice, good music and the pockets for cutlery and napkins is a nice touch. When it came to the service the staff were hospitable but staff hygiene wasn’t the best and two servers were often too busy flirting and tickling each other to offer proper service. The food arrived quickly and was quite tasty but the price point seemed too steep for portions provided. I’d rate the food itself a 6.5/10 but when there are so many wonderful options in Amsterdam I don’t see myself coming back.

I had the best experience there. I loved my chicken avocado bowl—it was delicious! The service was excellent, especially for someone dining alone and looking to enjoy a nice lunch. The only downside was the price; I found it to be quite overpriced. However, being in Amsterdam, it felt worth it. I would definitely return! ❤️

5 pieces onion, ( i ordered 6), + 6 small really bad and different from google picture falafels ( 1 is too hard i could’t bite )= 15 euros 👎🏻 They didn’t even bring some napkin. this is my second Google review in my whole life. That’s how it was disappointing.
