Fantastic restaurant – from the absolutely amazing food to the incredibly friendly service! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. My two non-vegan friends were also really impressed with the pasta. We'll definitely be back.

The service was very good, very attentive personal and very nice. Unfortunatly the food wasn't. We were 3 and all 3 dishes were extremly "boring". My carbonara tasted like from the can, the sakê as well. The hamburger we had was ok, but I had much better ones for half of the price. The pasta was also overcooked. It was also very expensive, the beers, the food. I hate to give bad critics, but I really don't understand why the hype on this restaurant (the good critics), never again, sorry. You should put a bit creativity, spices, fresh products and love in your cooking. And lower the prices

Vegan Temple Bar is one of the best vegan restaurants I've visited. The food is delicious, the portions are solid, and the prices aren't outrageous considering the area, amount and quality you get. The menu has a fantastic selection of both food and drinks, with everything being 100% vegan 🌈🌈🌈 The atmosphere is chill, w great aesthetics and a gold location for those exploring. What really makes the experience special, though, is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming, shout out Rahaf who is the sweetest & deserves a special mention. An absolute darling 🙏🏻 The service was also impressively fast without compromising on quality. Highly recommend Vegan Temple Bar for amazing vegan food, great drinks, decent value, and outstanding service. I'll definitely be coming back 🤗

The food was good and reasonably priced for Amsterdam.

Fast food style vegan restaurant in central Amsterdam. The whole menu is vegan which makes choosing easier. We had the avocado salad, chicken satay salad and chicken nuggets. Food was tasty, good portion sizes. The “chicken” nuggets were just like mcdonalds! The decor is very bright and the bench seats were very worn. But reasonable prices and a good menu make this worth a visit. Three stars as the cooking was fine but not particularly outstanding or incentive.

Delicious vegan food. Our family ate there three days in a row; it was very tasty, and what was important to us was that the entire menu was vegan 👍. We'll be back on our next visit to Amsterdam.

On the positive side, there is a good selection of vegan dishes. Unfortunately, neither the atmosphere, nor the service, nor the food impressed us. There was a mistake right from the start when we took our order. There were four of us, and we all ordered burgers, but one of them was served with the wrong toppings. Furthermore, the burgers were quite sparsely topped for the price. Since the restaurant is popular, reservations are recommended. Overall, our visit was disappointing, and we probably won't be returning.

The Temple Burger was OK, mostly thanks to the beyond meat patty. The bun was dry/dull and the overal quality of the burger was comparable to that of a fast food restaurant. Drinks were expensive and the draft beer wasn't even cold.. The search for an amazing vegan burger continues!

The food was delicious; we had a burger and pasta with carbonar sauce. The pasta was excellent, and the burger was also very tasty, but unfortunately, the bun was a bit dry and crumbled slightly. The service was very friendly, and we were served very quickly.

He took the time to chat with us and share the incredible story of his journey, showing just how much hard work, passion, and dedication went into building and opening this restaurant. Hearing about his journey added so much heart and soul to our meal. Amazing food, an inspiring backstory, and a team that makes you feel like family. We will absolutely be back next time we are in Amsterdam. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a very pleasant time at Vegan Temple Bar. The place is really nicely decorated. The food is delicious and copious. And the drinks are worth their price (the smoothies are HUGE) !!!!

I ordered the falafel rice bowl, which was fresh, simple, and delicious. The vegan stroopwafel dessert was also fantastic with a generous portion size and great chocolate sauce, though it would have been even better if the stroopwafel itself had been warmed up.

Our experience was unfortunately way below expectations considering the plethora of high ratings from previous customers. The restaurant’s interior was unbearably hot and seating for four felt cramped. The food took very long, in fact others that arrived after us received theirs before us. When confronted no apology was offered only a bare statement that our order was more difficult to make 🤷‍♂️when arrived we all agreed it was pretty bland. The meat alternatives were tasty though the rest lacked any flavour, especially my pasta with meatballs. I personally would not come back.

It was one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to! The service was excellent, the restaurant itself was beautifully and cosily decorated, and the food was so good that we went there three times in 24 hours! The variety of dishes is truly incredible, and the fact that everything is vegan and tastes absolutely perfect makes for a perfect experience. I’ll definitely be going back on my next trip to Amsterdam!

Delicious, but not spectacular, vegan food; the service was good too. We found €20 and up for spaghetti carbonara and other pasta dishes expensive, even compared to other vegan spots in Amsterdam. It was very crowded, so definitely make a reservation. 😍

We came in just 45 minutes before closing time and the staff were so incredible and allowed us to order food still, even though they didn’t have to go out of their way like that. It was beyond delicious and definitely worth every penny

First of all, the food was great! I had the smokey temple burger, and it was one of the best i had in a long time. It took some time for the servers to notice us, but then they were really nice. My friend hat the avocado burger which apparently was good too. All in all i can really recommend eating here, even with non-vegan friends or family.

Found this place highly recommended on YouTube and wasn’t disappointed. I ordered the Smokey burger with sweet potato fries my partner the truffle burger. Both exceptional. Service was quick and atmosphere lovely. Would highly recommend and a shame we have to leave Amsterdam so sooner would have definitely returned.

I was delighted to come across this vegan restaurant as I was exploring the city. You know how at most restaurants you have to pick through a menu to find something vegan? And you usually end up in the side orders? Well this is the fab kind of menu with choices so varied that you are tempted to ask 'is this vegan?' -- but be assured - it says right on the menu - it's 'ALL VEGAN'. What a delight! I had the avocado burger w/ sweet potato fries👍

Visited as a group of four and tried the classic, avocado, truffle, and falafel burgers. The avocado burger was a great innovation and really stood out. The sweet potato fries were hands down the best! Three burgers were delicious, but the truffle burger felt a bit dry without sauce. Overall, a fun and tasty vegan experience.

Hands down — one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to in a while! Each dish is more shamelessly decadent and delicious than the last. You finish the meal dirty and sticky, just like God intended after a burger. 10 out of 10!

Absolutely recommended! We opted for the "Truffle Delight" burger with sweet potato fries and the "Chicken Alfredo" pasta – and it was some of the best vegan food we've ever had in a restaurant. The burger bun was incredibly fluffy, the sweet potato fries wonderfully crispy, and the pasta perfectly al dente (we're from Italy 😉). The pasta impressed with a wonderfully creamy sauce and incredibly realistic, delicious vegan chicken. The service was also exceptionally attentive – you can immediately tell that the owner and the entire team run the place with a lot of heart. We'd love to take this restaurant home with us!

Lovely place to eat. Food and service was great and the staff was very friendly. I came here with a friend, the food was done very quickly so we didn't have to wait long, also not many people which is refreshing since Amsterdam can get crowded. The burgers we order are both amazing, especially since I haven't had good vegan mayo in sooo long. I can only recommend their truffle mayo+ burgers. Definitely visiting again

Everything was beyond amazing. The whole menu is vegan, what a dream. The food was delicious and the people were so kind. Also the menu was in English which was so great because we don't speak Dutch. I was sad we had to leave. I hope we get the chance to eat here again one day.

For us as vegetarians, it was a great option in principle. Our burgers were tasty, the fries okay. But even considering the location, it was absolutely overpriced. My husband didn't even get full. Overall, it was rather dirty, especially the restroom.

Nice vegan restaurant! They were mostly burgers, but had pastas, bowls, and salads. Food was excellent, service was great. My only annoyance was a delivery truck pulled up on the sidewalk within 1 meter of our table, and left his engine running. This went on pretty much the whole time we were eating. Kind of ruined the ambience.

As soon as you come in, you realize that it's a special place. The soothing music combined with the beautiful interior design and the attentive, relaxed personel makes this one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had.

Overall, a positive experience. Friendly staff, decent burger (black bun), really good cheddar. Small mistake in the preparation of the sandwiches; I asked for mayo instead of BBQ, since I don't particularly like it, but they didn't make the change. I ate the sandwich anyway to avoid unnecessary waste. The sweet potatoes were very good, crispy, and flavorful. Price for two people was €45, two burgers, one with sweet potatoes and one with regular potatoes.

Nice place, but we wouldn't go back. The burger was good. Just be more careful about how you treat customers. Telling them they have to eat quickly because the restaurant closes at 10 pm is wrong. Google says the restaurant closes at 10:30 pm. The cook was friendly.

Burger was ok but the waiter was very disrespectful and annoyed by our presence! I speak only for the old hairless waiter with glasses who didn’t wanted to serve us at 21:15 because he wanted to close the restaurant earlier ! Very expensive for such a bad experience and frozen fries … and last but not least he was drinking alcohol during his work … never going back again

Absolutely loved this place. I was here for four nights and came for dinner every single one of them. The Smokey Temple Burger is by far the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. As a vegan, I am always worried about going to new places and not having much to eat. First, Amsterdam has a lot of options which was wonderful, and my favourite was the Vegan Temple Bar! Personally my favourite dish was the chicken alfredo, probably the best alfredo i’ve ever eaten. Everything on the menu looked amazing and i just wish i had more time! Staff were always kind, and the atmosphere is cute and clean. Highly recommend! 10/10, would come again (and i did, multiple times)

This is a great place to eat delicious vegan food. The staff was very friendly, and even though the place was packed, we didn't have to wait long. The price was right. We'd definitely go back.

The service was fine and the restaurant was cute, but we were really disappointed with our entrees. The cheese and bacon fry app was delicious, but my partner ordered the carbonara and I ordered the Alfredo. The presentation was lovely. We were excited to try some vegan pastas, but they were both very bland. We make both better at home.
