The food was tasty, but not worth the high price for me, as I've eaten better in Amsterdam. The burger patty actually tasted a lot like real meat, even though it was vegan, which was really good. The ambience was certainly nice at one time, but now everything seemed a bit run down. There were stains on the chairs and the bench had some leather left on it.

Fast, not very expensive, not very special. 10 years ago I would have loved it, now there are better options in terms of food, but hey, this is nice and central in Amsterdam, so close to the Leiden square.

Had a very nice meal here and definitely recommend the place. Tasty burgers and loaded fries, the kapsalon was very good. My friend also enjoyed the pasta Napolitano. The mood is good and the music is not too loud. The server was kind and helpful. I will absolutely come here again.

My first vegan burger. He was fantastic!

The chicken satay bowl was really yummy. I would definitely have it again and try other items on the menu. Portion was great. The water glasses were really small, and we got thirsty quick, it would be nice if a pitcher was left at the table so we could refill our waters.

We stopped for an early dinner on a Saturday. Lots of choices, and both entrees we ordered were delicious. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Very nice and cozy restaurant in Amsterdam city center. We have been here twice, and tried both the sides (nachos and bitterballen) and the burgers. The burgers in particular were amazing, and the staff is very friendly

My burger and my partner's pasta were both amazing and the fries were really good as well! Everybody was very welcoming and friendly and the interior looked quite beautiful. We went for a birthday, we were late and they were really nice about it🙂 the food is delicious, they had put very creative hearts on the burgers so you can really see how full of love they were. And the employees are really sweet, we were with a large group and they were so patient with us🙂 Thank you for everything!! And until next time!!

It was my second time here and I would always visit again. The options are big and the food is very delicious. A big thanks to the nice owner who talked with us and made us laugh.

The burger I enjoyed in this small but fine restaurant was simply the best I have ever eaten. The patty was perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were fresh and the sauce was simply heavenly - a masterpiece of vegan cuisine! The owners and the waiter were incredibly friendly and helped me a lot with my choice of burger. It was particularly positive that he pointed out to me that gluten-free side dishes are deep-fried in the same fat as gluten-containing products. This shows how much importance he attaches to the needs of his guests. I can only recommend this restaurant - both the food and the service are great!

I really wanted to like this place but was pretty disappointed. I had the nachos and it reminded me of nachos you can get at movie theaters, which isn't a bad thing but clearly not what i was expecting. Nothing was heated up, certainly hadn't gone into an oven like I thought it would have. Food was expensive for what you get The place is very pretty but when I was there the inside had a bad smell, luckily they had a couple tables outside so I sat there. I would come back only to try some of the other menu offerings and hopefully change my opinion.

We ate here twice and can highly recommend the Vegan Temple Bar! On our first visit we had a burger with homemade fries and a rainbow bowl. The burger was very tasty and especially the homemade fries were great!! The second time we had Loaded Fries (note, these are normal fries and not the homemade ones, which is a shame) and the Party Mix Platter. The restaurant is nice, the service is quick and friendly! The drinks are very expensive and ketchup or similar costs extra, which is a bit excessive. We would still come back!

Decent vegan option in the center of Amsterdam. Our host was friendly and welcoming. I found the prices to be a bit on the high side, especially the desserts. The BBQ Ch*cken burger was pretty good, I also got the cheesy bacon fries on the side but would probably stick with a more plain side the next time.

We decided to try Vegan Temple Bar for dinner based on the good reviews and online photos, but the experience was disappointing. The overall vibe was really off, staff were sitting at empty tables on their phones not checking on guests, and openly flirting and touching each other. Despite there being only one other table eating, the food took an unexpectedly long time to arrive. The service was really bad, I don’t recommend this place and don’t think we will return.

As a meat eater i must say: these burgers are very tasty. No compromises. I could eat this everyday

I just ate an awesome burger and delicious sweet potato fries. Didn’t have more space for the dessert as the dish was very filling.

The worst vegan place. The smell of sewage is unbearable, the owner is very pedantic. I left before ordering. Stay away from this place.

Amazing oasis of peace, and good vegan food in central Amsterdam. Definitely worth a stop for good food and a great atmosphere.

While there was a nice atmosphere in the venue and the service was impressive (The waitress remembered all of our order by heart) The food was very disappointing, mostly fried and tasteless. The beyond burger was decent 👍

I came for dinner and expected great things from the reviews. The shop itself is nice, good music and the pockets for cutlery and napkins is a nice touch. When it came to the service the staff were hospitable but staff hygiene wasn’t the best and two servers were often too busy flirting and tickling each other to offer proper service. The food arrived quickly and was quite tasty but the price point seemed too steep for portions provided. I’d rate the food itself a 6.5/10 but when there are so many wonderful options in Amsterdam I don’t see myself coming back.

I had the best experience there. I loved my chicken avocado bowl—it was delicious! The service was excellent, especially for someone dining alone and looking to enjoy a nice lunch. The only downside was the price; I found it to be quite overpriced. However, being in Amsterdam, it felt worth it. I would definitely return! ❤️

Iam sorry for such a bad rating but after eating Smokey temple burger yesterday with beyond meat patty I got food poisoning and had a very bad night… so just be aware

5 pieces onion, ( i ordered 6), + 6 small really bad and different from google picture falafels ( 1 is too hard i could’t bite )= 15 euros 👎🏻 They didn’t even bring some napkin. this is my second Google review in my whole life. That’s how it was disappointing.

It's great how varied the meals are! My girlfriend is vegan, I am not, and yet I was enthusiastic about the menu. A vegan pasta carbonara?? How nice! My vegan friend liked it (rainbow Falafel bowl), not the best ever, but just fine. I also liked the carbonara, but perhaps expected a little more from it. The staff was always super friendly and approachable.

Never been to a vegetarian restaurant before. For the first time because we were traveling with a couple who only eat vegetarian. To my great surprise, it was really delicious! We had various burgers and a vegetarian kapsalon. Almost indistinguishable from real meat. So I am positively surprised at what is possible in the field of vegetarian food. Highly recommended to have a delicious meal here!

Amsterdam is really great. You can find vegan restaurants everywhere. It was already 9:30 in the evening when I arrived. I quickly ordered a burger and vegetarian chicken nuggets. The fries were also very good! ! The boss is very warm and friendly💚💚💚!

A really great bar with a wide variety of offerings. I chose the “Truffle Delight” and the “Apple Pie” for dessert. None of it disappointed, the burger in particular was probably one of the most delicious combinations I've had so far! Compliments ❤️👏🏼

Food here is overall great. Many options meaning you can get full for around 13 €. Had the pasta which was nice but a relatively small portion for the price (18 €). Can recommend the Bitterballen. Would come again!

We spontanously searched for some vegan Bitterballen and ended up here. Without reservation they seated us and enjoyed the food a lot. Especially the Bitterballen and Loaded Fries were great. Also the Blond Beer is highly recommended. Thanks.

The food was tasty, but it was all finished products. That's ok if you have cheaper prices. But a burger for €21 that only consists of ready-made products is really totally overpriced. We had ordered sweet potatoes from several people, but unfortunately none of them came. And you don't need to charge another €1 extra for sauces. Unfortunately, some of the staff were a bit strange.

Good food but somewhat overpriced and weird atmosphere. We tried two different bowls: both were good but rather simple and with inexpensive ingredients (a lot of rice), which makes the price of about 19€ per dish appear quite high. Also they do not offer any complimentary tap water and sell bottled water at a very high price (3.50 for 2dl or 7.50 for 7.5dl!). Other dishes that were served at neighbour tables (burgers, fries and cakes) all looked really good and we might have tried a dessert had the whole not felt so unfriendly and overpriced.

Pretty disappointed with this place. I don't like giving bad reviews, but I had to for this place. Surprisingly, it had really good reviews on Google and TripAdvisor, but I don't know why... We arrived and waited quite a while to get a menu, not a huge issue, but just led to confusion if it was table service or go up and order. When the food arrived, it was served on chopping boards that weren't clean. The wood had split and had old food inside the cracks. The boards were clearly well used and didn't look clean. Please use plates! Food portions were pretty poor and the burgers were cold. The classic burger wasn't cooked great. Overall, I felt this was a little overpriced. We spent €60 for 2 burgers, a water, 7up and 1 side... Also have cash on you. I wanted to pay with card but kept being asked to pay with cash.

Very nice restaurant!! There are a variety of vegan dishes, from pasta to bowls to burgers. Many dishes are also gluten-free. For example, there are gluten-free and vegan burgers and bowls. Simply speak to the waitresses. Highly recommended, we were here on 2 evenings. The Falafel Rainbow Bowl, the Falafel Burger and the Classic Burger are recommended.

Sooo.. sssoooo good! It is not easy to find a good vegan place where the food is tasty yet very very fresh and of quality. I couldn’t finished all my chips nor order one of the beautiful tradizionale dessert in the vegan version and that’s why I will come back! 😘

Very nice discovery made somewhat by chance. The dishes are excellent, special mention to the pasta carbonara. The service is fast and the staff extremely friendly, especially since we went there on the evening of December 24th. Vegan or not, go there with your eyes closed!
