The pasta carbonara and the vegan chicken bowl were delicious.

We had bitterballen as a starter and then each a burger with fries. It was all really yummy and freshly made! They have a great menu with lots of options. The service is really, really quick and you can ask for change really easy. All in all really good!

Cozy atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, and they even have a terrace. I love meat, but oh my, I tasted a fantastic vegan burger. The burger was very flavorful and tasted like a real burger. You can usually tell if something is vegan, but the team at Vegan Temple Bar knows what they're doing and what's delicious! The fries with truffle sauce were also delicious. And the staff was friendly and welcoming. I felt very welcome. Oh, and they also have chai latte.

Had the carbonara and butterbal side and they were DELICIOUS!!! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was cheesy and full of vegan bacon. The bitterbal tasted like holidays, like if you could deep fry tasted potatoes and roast with mushroom gravy- a must try. The staff was also super prompt and helpful

Amazing!!! One of the best if not the best vegan restaurant in Amsterdam. We had a hard time searching for good vegan food. After finding this one we ate there a second time and it is just heaven.

I’ve been to the Vegan Temple Bar twice now because their burgers are genuinely really good. Both times I enjoyed the food, but yesterday the service was a big letdown. The restaurant was pretty much empty when we arrived, yet we still waited over 45 minutes for our order. We asked about it and were told it would be out soon, but meanwhile two tables who came in 20 minutes after us already had their food. When we followed up again, they admitted it was their mistake, but by the time our food finally came we had to rush through it because we had other plans. For what should’ve been a quick, easy meal, waiting almost an hour with no clear reason was really disappointing. Honestly, not sure I’d go back.

Fantastic meal. So many choices! The entire menu is vegan, the food is fresh, tasty, delicious and generous. The inside is beautiful and the staff amazingly kind and efficient. I had an amazing birthday meal with a delicious piece of apple pie with a candle and a song. It meant the world to me! Thank you 💚

It was all so good. Falafel burger and fries were excellent and the apple pie was awesome as well.

A great option for a vegan meal in Amsterdam. The staff is very friendly, the place is cute, and the value is in line with Dutch prices. I had an excellent bowl with rice, fake chicken, cucumber, and peanut sauce. My friends had the burger, and it was good.

Really good vegan burger. In fact the best one I've tasted. And im not even vegan, but my wife is😐 and she can't have gluten, but that was no problem. They had glutenfree bun, but she couldn't have the fries since they also fry food with gluten in the fryer. But all and all it was a good burger and fries.

We needed to eat quickly before visiting the museum and had noted this place (we are vegan). We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We ordered some appetizers, especially fried potatoes.

So pleased to find a vegan Cafe, and the food was delicious. Nice and quick, nice sized serving and really friendly staff. I definitely recommend!

Excellent vegan restaurant with tons of options. I had a burger and fries which was delicious! The tables on the street are a little too sloped so hold on to your drinks! Definitely worth a visit.

Tldr: If you are vegetarian but opting for a holiday where you have to eat out, there are restaurants here in Amsterdam that offer a way healthier alternative for your gut than just pizza or felafel Vegan Templebar Leads the Way. (I rarely tip. Here, I tipped. That good)

Pasamos por Vegan Temple Bar durante nuestro viaje a Amsterdam y encontramos IT es un lugar agradable, relajado, justo al lado de la carretera principal, tranquilo pero central. Servicio era amable y eficiente, y todo llegó rápidamente. Mi pareja disfrutó de la hamburguesa vegana con patatas fritas, que era abundante, sabroso y satisfactorio. Elegí la ensalada de mesa, fresca y con buena relación calidad-precio, aunque podría haber sido un poco más creativa. En general, IT fue una comida relajante y agradable en un lugar tranquilo. Nos gustaría volver si está cerca, aunque IT no es un lugar que haríamos todo lo posible para volver a visitar.

Today we spontaneously stopped by Vegan Temple Bar for a snack, and I was overjoyed to try the typical vegan bitterballen. We were quickly given a menu after sitting down and ordered bruschetta, bitterballen, the Dutch apple pie, and ice cream. The wait was perfectly fine; the bitterballen were exactly as described: crispy on the outside, with a delicious, creamy filling on the inside. Thankfully, you can also enjoy typical Dutch dishes here! Located on a side street, the seating is a bit quieter, either inside or at the tables outside. The seating here is a bit crooked, but that's also what makes it charming. Communication in English worked relatively well. We ordered the ice cream without cream and the coffee with a dash of cold milk, and everything worked out great! Only one of the restrooms was usable, but that's not a problem per se. Everything was clean, and it was dark inside, but nicely decorated. We'd happily go back and recommend it to anyone taking a trip to Amsterdam!

Average food, nothing special about the overpriced burgers, fries were fine.. we had ordered overloaded Nachos but not much toppings.. fresh orange juice definitely came from can.. the 2 stars are only for the service and fries

Food was good and reasonably priced, great to see a vegan place with lots of variety (and good vegan bitterballen). Unfortunately we had a less pleasant experience when we asked for the bill, as the server got quite shirty with us after asking if we had cash to pay. No where does it say cash preferred, and they did take card so it was an odd and uncomfortable interaction.

They had gluten-free burger options. Highly recommended for this. 10/10 service. Desserts too! The food is simple but excellent.

We were there twice. You should make a reservation in the evening, but it was easy to get a table during the day. Everything was vegan, delicious burgers, fast and friendly service. The restroom was a little strange *g*, but it was great because it's a purely vegan restaurant.

Very tasty food, a good selection, and extremely friendly and accommodating staff. We had various bowls, burgers, and appetizers, all of which were truly delicious. Highly recommended, and the prices are normal for Amsterdam or major European cities. €30 per person for a main course, half a (shared) appetizer, and two drinks is absolutely reasonable given the quality of the food.

This falafel bowl and a side of fries brought me back to life after a 24 hour journey to Amsterdam. The portions are generous and they are not shy with the sauces which I appreciate (no one wants dry azz falafel). The vegan Stroopwaffel was also YOM with blueberries the size of Pluto. I did try the cheese sauce for the fries and it wasn’t for me though. I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere because I did UberEats, but I highly recommend this place!

I have no words to describe how great this place is!!! Everything on the menu is delicious, from libidinous sauces to soft, light bread. The design of the venue is super nice and relaxing and the staff is very friendly :) I came there three times in a week because it's really the best vegan restaurant I've ever tried (and I've been vegan for 13 years). Highly recommended for non-vegans too!!!

I was here the day before yesterday. Everyone was super friendly and very attentive. The wait was perfectly acceptable. I had the Burger D'Italiano in a pink bun, with a chicken patty, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, and caramelized onions. It came with homemade fries, mayo, and a small Pepsi Cola. Everything was excellent, tasted very good, and the decorations were meticulously detailed, in my case with lettering made of ketchup. To be more in keeping with the burger's name, I would have expected arugula instead of lettuce, but it was delicious anyway. I was very happy that you could also sit outside. However, the street is very narrow, so cars/vans drive right past your table, and you can see, among other things, the garbage cans of the neighboring buildings. My recommendation would be to put up privacy screens or place tall flowerpots with tall plants to create a visual barrier. The floor was a bit uneven, so the table was tilted. Perhaps just putting a slat underneath would certainly improve the guests' comfort. ;-) All in all, I was very happy to have found you during my visit to Amsterdam!

Fantastic to see an all vegan restaurant in Amsterdam, which is NOT a very vegan friendly city, where most places don’t even know what veganism is!!! The staff were very friendly/ polite and the food was pretty tasty too. I would highly recommend the shrimp starters, as they were very realistic and delicious, where I am still thinking about them now! My only gripe would be that the cost was very high, but then again so is everything in Amsterdam, where at least the portion sizes were generous. Also, it is appreciated when staff do not take plates away from one person if others are still eating, as it gives the feeling of being rushed. Lastly, the toilets really should be a lot cleaner, as they were pretty disgusting, but that’s something easy to fix. Overall, two very happy customers and would highly recommend a visit, especially if a vegan! P.S. I liked the artwork/ text you had printed on the walls promoting veganism with thought provoking facts.
