Helpman's Pasta's Assen in Wijk 00 Assen centrum

Allemachtig een pasta bestellen en er dan 2 en een half uur over doen. Het is druk als reactie, donder toch op. Een pasta zelf maken duurt 20 minuutjes. En dan ook nog stukken eierschalen erin. En verder niet te vreten. Sorry hoor, nooit meer bestellen hier.

Delivery takes a very long time. 1.5 hours. The delivery drivers speak little to no Dutch. There's only one cook and a few gas burners. I'd suggest expanding the kitchen. Three bikes for all of Assen. A car and scooters would be better. The food is average. And too expensive for a medium-sized portion. I'll make it better at home. It's no wonder, because with minimal resources and too much pressure, there's not enough attention to quality. I won't be ordering again anytime soon.

It's a shame the quality is quite variable at this place. When the owner isn't around, you see the quality plummet. After today, it's also the last time we'll order from here. I wouldn't put the woman who made our pasta in the kitchen. Even the food she made for her colleague went straight in the trash. Her colleague called it disgusting. Well, that also tells you how our food tasted. After emptying the container, a disgusting layer of sauce remained. This wasn't pasta with sauce, but sauce with pasta, the taste of which was anything but good. Too bad!

The first time, something was forgotten. It happens. The second time, it happened again. I then contacted them by phone, asking if they would deliver it later. It didn't. I contacted them via social media (any way to complain, or by phone), and they spoke, but after two messages, they suddenly stopped responding. I asked again for a response. I received a response, but again, halfway through the conversation, there was no response. I requested a refund but haven't seen anything yet. Very unfortunate... * The review below was accidentally posted for the Groningen location. I then received a response via the review asking if this could be changed to the Assen location and that the money would be refunded, but this wasn't mentioned in the chat.

I'll never order from here again! The food used to be fantastic, great flavor, and the price-quality ratio was spot on! But now...? Anything but... I ordered medium pasta carbonara, as I always do. The pasta wasn't cooked through, was lukewarm, almost no sauce, had 5 pieces of bacon or something, and that green stuff completely took away any flavor... I called and got a new one quickly. I had to take the old one back to see what was wrong with it. Well, that seemed obvious to me when I poured it into the container, but oh well... to top it all off, there was a piece of plastic in the new pasta. I lost my appetite and immediately threw the pasta away. I'm definitely not coming back!

The pasta always tastes delicious. We did have to wait a very long time once, but as compensation, we were given a house pasta.

A very small container (they used to be bigger) of burnt pasta, which was only solved by adding half a carton of cooking cream. I was always very satisfied, but the last few times I've had less and less to eat. Never again!

On the site he states that your order will be delivered within 40 minutes with a descending bar, well the bar had already expired for at least 15 minutes when the doorbell rang, but we are happy that we can finally eat. I open the carbonara and it already smells different and when I take a few bites it doesn't taste the way I'm used to, my husband tastes it and also says is this carbonara? I call and she says that she has made it but wants to make a new one if I want to give the other one to the delivery person, so just like that, the delivery person comes and I am already standing in the doorway (doorbell with camera) and it is there. to mess around for a while before he comes with a bowl and a bag (with a can of coke for the inconvenience) he says yes it had to be done quickly so that's why it looks like that, what was wrong so I tell him it doesn't taste like that as I am used to from you and there is something like leaf in it that I have never had in it before I suspect that this is a truffle pasta, he says yes that is the bacon so I let him know that this is what it tasted like there really isn't any bacon, even if it's burnt it doesn't taste that way. Well, he takes it with him and I close the door, slightly irritated, because it feels like I'm not being believed. I open the container, there is almost no sauce in it and there is wokkel pasta in it, even though I ordered penne. It doesn't taste like I'm used to and after 2 bites I have no appetite anymore, this is not what I'm used to and I don't like it. I'm angry but I think, well, that's the way it is until I get a call and I'm told again that it really was a carbonara and those dark pieces are the burnt bacon. I say that this one that I have now received is also not what I am used to, I do not see or taste any egg in the sauce and there are now suddenly lumps in it, while I had ordered penne, to which the maid once again says yes, I have only just arrived. cook so it may taste a bit different but the egg is really in it and it was really carbonara pasta both times. Well if this tastes different then I don't want it again and we haven't even talked about how they delivered this container, my hands and countertop were covered in sauce😡 We will not order Helpman's pasta again in Assen

Supplement 8-2: best Helpmans's pastes. Nice that you deactivate that discount code, but until I posted this review, I hadn't heard anything from you at all. I also did NOT receive the discount code from you for this review. So it's nice and easy to say this. And money that would be on the way is fine? But it is now Thursday, the order was on Monday... a transfer really doesn't take that long! DO NOT ORDER HERE! CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AT THE BEST! Ordered here several times and every drama, with yesterday being the low point. My order would be delivered within 30 minutes. After an hour it still wasn't there so I decided to ring the doorbell. The employee on the phone indicated that my order had just gone out. However, on the online tracker I saw that my order was not even prepared yet. After half an hour the tracker changed to “being prepared” and I was called by a helper. They had accidentally used the wrong type of pasta and asked if that was bad. Indicated that it didn't matter to me, but that I found it annoying that I had been lied to half an hour earlier and that my order had not yet been on its way. Then the employee on the phone got angry and accused me of lying and said I would never have called. The politeness and customer friendliness were hard to find. I then indicated that I would appreciate it if my order would now be delivered as soon as possible. Fifteen minutes later the delivery person finally showed up on our doorstep. However, when I unpacked the order, it turned out to be incomplete. I have filed a complaint about this and the course of events with Helpman via the Facebook page - as the website does not have a complaints form. The company responded via Facebook and gave all kinds of stupid reasons/excuses as to why I had been treated in such a customer-unfriendly way. I was then notified that I would receive a discount code and part of my money back. However, to date I have heard NOTHING from Helpman.

Ordered food yesterday, usually it is always good, there is enough flavor and I have not had any problem with it, but yesterday (January 13) the pasta was not yet cooked, the sauce was not enough, I could not taste the pesto, it really seemed like a child was eating my food. had made! But besides that, great service! Normally I get it yesterday I had it delivered! And was very fast! I'm disappointed with the cooking skills! Never had any problems otherwise! Maybe it differs per chef!

After a long car journey, this pasta carbonara was really great. Delivered super fast, nice and hot and a great taste!

My girlfriend and I have ordered the pasta carbonara and the salmone with gran fusili several times, and I have had it every time! the container in which the pasta is delivered is licked completely clean (see photo). Damn how delicious! It is a bit more expensive than fries, for example, but I prefer this 10x. Delivery is also great, we have never experienced the food being lukewarm. I don't know what the atmosphere is like there because we always have it delivered, but because it is so delicious they also get 5 stars for that. Good job there!!!

The order was delivered quite quickly and it was still warm! That's all the positive. The pasta was extremely overcooked and the sauce simply had no taste. We didn't eat it either, so it was a waste of money because it isn't very cheap, although it did taste that way!

Ordered via home delivery, delivery itself took a very long time, but that's okay. Food was mediocre, pasta over-cooked, sauce tasteless and to top it all off, desert was forgotten. Called about this 3 times to be exact. All together from the first order to the last piece of our food it took over 2 hours. Not recommended

After ordering pasta and bread, only the pasta was delivered. This can of course happen, but I rang the bell immediately and it was delivered afterwards. 40 minutes later nothing... so I called again. The delivery person could not get to our address (unusual, because the pasta had already been delivered...) I had to walk to the delivery person myself. Once outside I found the bread thrown over the fence in a plastic bag. After calling again, no apology was given, but I was told that I knew that I could not order if the delivery person could not come to the door and that it was our own mistake.

Ordered 2 pastas at 6:00 PM. Called after an hour to ask where they were, it would take another 25 minutes because they were busy. Called again after 45 minutes. They could not deliver to my address because it was just outside their area (upper smilde). I agreed that I would pay the delivery costs myself. They would be there in 15 minutes. Called again 45 minutes later and they said they would no longer deliver because the boss wouldn't allow it. So after waiting 3 hours for my pasta I didn't get anything. They never told us anything and we received no apology. We were even blamed for not knowing that she delivered in the first place. This was promised to us twice on the phone and is an 8-minute drive from the business.

First time at Helpmans Pasta, I ordered a pepperoni pasta, tasted very good, a lot of sauce and if you want a normal portion you have to order the large one. I ordered the large one and it was full, but it wasn't necessarily large, otherwise it was delicious. tip: make a little less sauce and even larger portions

Visiting Assen and wanted to have a nice meal with the family. Helpman's Pasta scored well and we understand why! All pastas were all delicious. I suspect we will order here again on our next visit to Assen :) Keep up the good work!

What a disgusting company this helpman's pasta in Assen is! Ordered vegetarian pasta today, pasta with chicken pieces will be delivered! You call and you are told that it is not correct and that there is nothing in it that should not be there. Pretend I'm crazy and see wrong. He said that the chicken pieces are zucchini and if you order from home delivery they cannot guarantee that it will be good. When you ask his name, it just hangs up. Scandalous!! Never, ever order here!

Ordered pasta with 3 types of cheese. I wanted some additions and this was also included. Pasta was delivered hot and was very tasty! The only downside I have is the delivery time. I wanted it delivered at 7:15 PM, but it wasn't until 7:40 PM that I was notified that they were on their way. And it wasn't until around 8:00 PM that the doorbell actually rang. Unfortunately no apologies for the late delivery. Because the pasta was very tasty, I want to give this company another chance and will order from them again. Hopefully it will be delivered on time.

What a terrible company. Order your food via home delivery and they don't show up. If you call them yourself, you will be told that they were at the door. How?? I was sitting in the living room and the dogs started when the bell rang. I was able to get my order but had to pick it up myself. When I stopped eating I got a big mouth from the staff. Because they were supposed to stay open longer. I have never experienced this. What horrible staff there. They no longer see us as customers. Fortunately, there are very good other restaurants in Assen.
