Het Bak Atelier in Wijk 00: Valkenburg

Yesterday we had a workshop at Het Bak Atelier with 30 people. Everything was ready upon arrival, and we received a warm welcome. The pie-making process was explained step by step, with a choice of four fruit fillings. Throughout the workshop, there was unlimited coffee, tea, and homemade iced tea, and there were some treats on the table. In short, a wonderful experience and definitely worth repeating!

Today I attended the Limburg rice pie baking workshop. The workshop is held in a pleasant setting. Roel and Cathelijne are welcoming and the workshop was well-organized. Clear explanations, plenty of time for questions, and a pleasant learning experience. The result was also delicious!! Fantastic! We'll definitely be back.

Today I had a fantastic Limburg pie workshop at the baking studio with the team. Everything looked perfectly organized. A special table was even provided for our wheelchair-bound colleague so she could participate. Roel is an enthusiastic host who explained everything perfectly. So definitely recommended, and we'll enjoy the delicious pie afterward.

What a super fun workshop, we baked pies with 20 ladies. We were taken through every step of pie baking, after which we were allowed to put our hands in the dough ourselves. The toppers who supported us were full of pie baking passion and conviviality. A real recommendation to knead the Limburg culture. 👍

The Bak Atelier is highly recommended! Roel explains during the Limburgse Vlaai workshop clearly and calmly what the baking process entails and in addition we had a well-cared for lunch with home-made bread products. Very nice for groups.

An address I have been to many times and that I have often recommended to people to follow baking workshops. All workshops are organized down to the last detail (from a super clean bakery to beautiful ingredients to work with) and with a lot of fun by Roel and Cathelijne. You can always contact them afterwards with your baking questions. The course offering is very varied and I have always gone home with a wonderful end result.

Yesterday I attended a fantastic pie baking workshop. It started with the fact that, despite my gluten and cow's milk intolerance, I was more than welcome and everything was taken into account. Upon entering you will be warmly welcomed in a beautifully decorated room. Nice atmosphere, nice dynamic between Cathelijne and Roel. You notice that they work with passion. In between, everyone (without intolerances) could enjoy delicious (as far as I understand) snacks. You will receive good help, everything is explained step by step and you really learn! Thank you very much!!!

Having been part of a cooking club for years and also having a hobby in baking, I thought I already knew a lot about it. But an evening of baking with Roel really deepens your knowledge and skills. Roel has expert knowledge through and through. Delicious !

Unlike many other cooking and baking workshops, you work individually instead of in groups, so you do all the steps yourself, see, taste, etc. Very nice! Last weekend we did a wonderfully fun workshop (Limburg pie with fruit filling) with our group of friends. Reception with coffee/tea and, how could it be otherwise, pie. That already boded well for the end result. Then very clear explanations for each step in the process. The result was a beautiful and very tasty pie. For my mother's 60th birthday we attended a Limburg pie baking workshop. Incredibly fun activity that was supervised by Roel in a super fun and informative manner. We had plenty of laughs, but we were also able to bake delicious pies. The baking studio of Het Bak Atelier is also a very beautiful space; very tastefully and professionally decorated with all the materials you need. Definitely recommended!

In a professional kitchen workshop and with the help of excellent and clear instructions, with examples of how to do something, anyone could make a delicious pie. Enough choice in terms of fillings. Attended a pie baking workshop. Perfect explanation! I went home with a delicious Limburg pie. Fresh coffee, something tasty, everything has been taken care of. Aprons in different sizes, neatly clean (almost sterile) kitchen/studio.

Workshop: Strawberry pie with puff pastry base. Friendly welcome with coffee and cake. Went for the first time on Friday and it was a great experience. Steps were explained and demonstrated how to proceed. The result was impressive. This is certainly not the last time for me. Also a big compliment to the employees, everything was neatly cleaned up during the Workshop, after which the work table was neatly clean again.

Enkele workshops gevolgd. Roel is een voormalige echte bakker. Hij leert je de vlaai van a tot z met grondstoffen bakken. Het resultaat is een heerlijke vlaai. Een aanrader als je van bakken houdt.

Vandaag hebben we een bakworkshop gevolgd. We hebben een rijstevla en nougatine galettes gebakken. Iedere stap wordt uitgelegd en voorgedaan. Daarna mag je het zelf gaan doen. Zeer vriendelijke en gepassioneerde eigenaren ! Koffie, thee en fris is bij de prijs inbegrepen. Als tussendoortje kregen we verse hartige madeleines. Wij vonden het een leerzame en zeer gezellige middag !

Helaas helaas maar per 1mei is de bakkerij gesloten stond op de winkel afgelopen zaterdag 6 mei ,erg jammer Sorry meneer peeters had 5 moeten zijn ,maar we zullen u vlaaien missen in de betuwe

Leuke gemeente bakker met een extra gelegenheid om iets te nuttigen uit de bakkerij met dank erbij en een los terras erbij buiten

We waren op bezoek bij Camperplaats Kessel en daar hebben ze een broodjesservice. Je duid aan betaald en de dag erna om 9 uur kan je het in het onthaal van de camperplaats afhalen. De croissants waren super groot en lekker. De broodjes waren ultramals. Alles was supervers gebakken. Echt lekker!

Lekkere oliebollen gekocht!! En dat boek "Vlaai" is, echt een aanrader!!
