We had a fantastic team outing here with our large team of over 20 people! With humor and patience, Roel teaches you step by step how to bake a real Limburg vlaai, sharing the history of the Limburg vlaai and other fun facts along the way. Tasty pastries and coffee are served, and you get to take a delicious homemade vlaai home with you. All in all, highly recommended!

We had an amazing vlaai workshop with Roel! We were with a large group, everything was taken care of down to the last detail; even gluten-free was no problem for Roel. He switched gears for a moment but managed to resolve it nicely with a gluten-free vlaai for one of the colleagues. We all had such a wonderful afternoon, and the vlaai was delicious! We participated in a flan baking workshop with a group of 13 people, and it was an incredibly fun experience. The atmosphere was very cozy and relaxed, making everyone feel at ease immediately. The instructions during the workshop were clear and explained step by step. Even people without baking experience could easily participate. The instructors were skilled and enthusiastic; you could tell there was a lot of knowledge and experience present. Help was provided effectively where needed, and there was sufficient attention for the entire group. Additionally, the workshop was very accessible for a larger group like ours. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly. Booking was also simple and quick, which made planning extra pleasant. All in all, a successful activity that we would definitely recommend for groups, team outings, or a fun day out together.

During the workshop, you receive an explanation of the product, how to perform the actions, and especially why you perform certain actions. You learn a tremendous amount this way. The Sourdough Bread workshop is highly recommended. Het Bak Atelier is a very cozy bakery that radiates warmth, both literally and figuratively. You are warmly welcomed by Cathelijne and Roel, and from then on, you are taught everything you need to get started on your own. During the workshop, you receive a lot of explanation, everything is demonstrated by Roel, and then everyone gets to make their own rolls. And if you have questions, you get an immediate answer. Roel (the baker) explains everything very well and guides you through every step. With the knowledge I have, the recipes beside me, and Roel's books for variety in taste, I have also successfully made flans at home.

Yesterday we had a workshop at Het Bak Atelier with 30 people. Everything was ready upon arrival, and we received a warm welcome. The pie-making process was explained step by step, with a choice of four fruit fillings. Throughout the workshop, there was unlimited coffee, tea, and homemade iced tea, and there were some treats on the table. In short, a wonderful experience and definitely worth repeating!

All workshops are organized down to the last detail (from a super clean bakery to beautiful ingredients to work with) and with a lot of fun by Roel and Cathelijne. You can always contact them afterwards with your baking questions. The course offering is very varied and I have always gone home with a wonderful end result.
