The food and atmosphere are good when you eat there, 5 stars. However, you shouldn't order from here via Thuisbezorgd, as it regularly happens that you receive the food 2 hours later than agreed, so 1 star for the delivery, that is really bad.

Either eating there or delivery, the food is the authentic Greek food, it's the real deal, delicious from first to last bite.

I ordered a few times on thuisbezorgd and almost everytime I had to wait 2 hours or more to receive the food. Calling them is useless since they rarely pick up the phone. Today was the last straw for me, I waited 2:30 hours... I'm not ordering anymore from them, it's not worth it.

This isn’t the first time this place takes more than 2 hours to deliver the food. And fast food of all things, the gyros is supposed to be ready almost immediately! They don’t answer the phone either. The gyros was charred and had a bad taste, the fries were not fresh My guess is they wait before closing time and send the places orders with the remaining meat.

It takes more than 2 hours for the food to be delivered

When I placed my order, the app showed an estimated delivery time of 40 minutes. After 1 hour and 40 minutes, I called the restaurant simply to ask for an update. Unfortunately, the person who answered was very rude and just said, “It’s on the way,” with no apology or explanation for the delay. The delay itself was disappointing, but what bothered me most was the way I was treated. If you promise a 40-minute delivery time and the order is significantly delayed, the least you can do is communicate that properly and treat your customer with respect. Asking for the status of an order after waiting more than twice the estimated time is not asking for a favor. Very disappointing experience. I will not order from this place again.

The food is delicious, always warm, flavorful, and great value for money. Unfortunately, delivery has been very slow so far, with a wait of around 1.5-2 hours every time.

The food was fine, but the terrace could be a bit cozier; it's not really a pleasant place to sit 🫣🫤

One of the better Greek restaurants in the Eindhoven area; very diverse meat selection and great value for money. Always friendly staff, and definitely lovely to sit outside on the terrace on a warm summer evening! Highly recommended if you ask me.

I have often ordered food here and it is always tasty. Unfortunately, today was very disappointing. After 2 hours, we called multiple times using two phones, but we were hung up on and not answered. I then drove to the restaurant, and the owner indicated that she had spoken to my girlfriend in the meantime and had not received an order due to an error. I just checked at home and no phone call took place at all. I did receive my money back in cash, though. A more customer-friendly handling would have been better.

Like other reviews they are very rude if they pick up on the phone and don’t pick up your phone even 1.5hr after ordering. So try calling with a different number. Super angry and unprofessional but good food.

While they accepted the order, I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes with my order status "on the way", I tried to call several times to see what happened with my order but they didn't pick up. If it's not possible for a store to manage orders, they better remove this option.

Had to wait more than 2 hours for our food, tried calling various numbers 20 times but got no answer. In the end, the delivery person wasn't even capable of going to the correct house number. The meat was incredibly tough and even charred in certain spots, with a really nasty taste. The first and last time; paid over €50 but had to throw it away after a few bites. A disgrace!

The grill plate for two people was very delicious and the size of it was monstrous, so you should be hungry. Also can highly recommend the saganaki with honey, pita bread and sesam seeds.

I was scolded on the phone, my calls were ignored, and the order arrived after 3.5 hours. On 30 May 2026, around 18:30, I ordered a gyro and a schotel from this restaurant through Uber Eats. After waiting for more than an hour, I called to ask about my order. Instead of simply helping me, the person on the phone told me off, saying they could not understand me properly, possibly because of my accent, and then said the food was already on its way. About 40 minutes later, I tried calling again, but nobody answered. I cancelled the order through Uber Eats, but at 21:58 they still showed up at my door with the food.

Great food, unacceptable delivery service. They should opt in the Uber Eats delivery service, that way the orders wouldn’t take more then two hours.

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd. The food is very tasty. The problem is the long waiting time (we had to wait 2.25 hours for delivery), which is not communicated accurately via the app. They are very hard to reach by phone; after trying for 45 minutes, I finally got someone on the line who was very unfriendly. So, for good food, you need to have a lot of patience.

I ordered 2 hot starters and had to wait almost 2 hours for them! Ridiculous, and the woman on the phone was unpleasant too. I won't be ordering from here again.

Top-notch Greek restaurant! Very hospitable and the food is truly top-quality. As you would expect from a Greek place, the portions are reasonably large, but here the quality of the ingredients is also very high. Cozy setting right in the middle of a traditional neighborhood with a nice bit of activity. Highly recommended 👍🏻

It was very busy, making the space a little cramped, expected more calm atmosphere. We order the starters platter, came with three dips all of them were perfect, specially the pink one which is made of fish. Fried calamari was perfect, I have never before eaten ones this soft, usually it’s chewy. Fried feta was also nice. Meat balls was dry, but still good. We were already full from starters, so ordered one platter to share. The platter was lamb chops, chicken gyro and chicken souzouki. Gyro was soft juicy and tender, lamb chops was too salty and souzouki was just chicken breast dry grilled. Came with a big bowl of fries and salad and some rice. The platter was 20 euro and easily for two people. We also were served, Greek ouzo for free. Overall experience, above average with good food that can definitely be better. Interiors decorated in Greek colors and paintings, but the space with the crowd looked a bit cramped.

Normally I never leave a review, but this place deserves every good word there is! I’ve already eaten here 3 times in the past 1.5 weeks and it remains movingly delicious. The food is truly phenomenal; you can smell it as soon as you walk in. Every bite is packed with so much flavor, love, and joy. You only have to close your eyes and you’re on vacation. Super nice employees, warm people with a heart for the business! The atmosphere is familiar and feels like a holiday once again. Highly recommended for fresh and delicious Greek food!

Ordered food at 6 PM, still no delivery at 8 PM. They don't let you finish talking over the phone and immediately ask for your postal code, so you know you're not the only one. They're excused as busy, but you just need to ensure there are enough staff and good planning. We used to order from here regularly, but after this time, we won't be back!

I ordered pita gyros, dolmadakia and tzatziki klein on November 1st 2025 at 17.56 through uber but they didn’t deliver my food. I kept calling them but they didn’t respond. Extremely bad customer service. I want a refund. Otherwise I’ll sue the restaurant.

Lost order! I waited 2.5 hours for my food, and then they even put the wrong postal code on the receipt! When I called, the lady on the phone was rude and only asked for my postal code before hanging up! Terrible! I ended up getting a quick meal somewhere else before closing time, which was delicious! I've ordered several times and the food tastes good. However, the delivery time is often very long. This time, Thuiszorgd said it would take 60 minutes. I called after 80 minutes. They didn't answer the phone politely and only asked for my postal code. "I'll pass it on," she said, "you're next, it'll be at least another 10 to 20 minutes, bye, and hung up. I said something else, and the line was disconnected. No apology, nothing. Super antisocial.

The food is delicious; it just took a while to arrive on this Sunday evening. But the taste and volume are excellent, and everything is neatly packaged, with all the meat on a separate platter. Perfect. Just not a 5 because of the time (1.45 hours).

My absolute favorite Greek. There are plenty of good Greeks to be found in the Eindhoven area, but Het Grieks Hoekje exudes a family atmosphere. Delicious gyros and other authentic dishes. Order on time because it is always super busy, this can take a little longer. But visit this place and you will see that they work really, really hard. In the summer you can sit outside. Something different than a Greek in the middle of the city center. Really recommended.

Deliciously tender and fresh; certainly noticeable in the calamari and the pikilia. Meat well seasoned and not too fatty. Really a skilled team in the kitchen and a warm welcome in the cozy eatery. We will definitely come back and then also have a nice meal on the terrace. What we had too much, we were neatly given and we could even eat from it again. Efgaristo poly!

This really was the very last time. VERY bad, really worse than bad. Always enjoyed Het Griekse Hoekje. My friend is Greek and really enjoyed the souvlakia. After neatly submitting the first complaint privately, I now want to share our second experience. The first time we had to wait 2.5 hours for 2 pita gyros that were ice cold, the meat was also not tasty. Reaction? Was our Our own fault, we should have ordered 2 days before, no excuses, nothing. Last night we waited another 1.5 hours for 2 souvlakia and 3 regular pita breads. They called politely to ask if everything was okay. The answer was; be patient, you 😅. The skewers were incredibly salty, really not okay! Very bitter due to burning of the meat. It's a shame that the quality plummets when it's "crowded and panicked".

Food is fine, but waiting 2 hours while it says 20 minutes is not. Being treated rudely on the phone when you ask is not either. Unfortunately not the first time we have to wait 2 to 3 hours for our order. The last time we have ordered there. The rude behavior of the woman on the phone was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.

Ordered food today, a boy of about 13/14 years old came to the door. I thought he treated me rudely.. I opened the door of the apartment but my button did not work and asked politely if the door would open.. I received in an irritated voice "YES PLEASE OPEN IT!" then I got food shoved into my hands without a word and no appetizer and I immediately walked away. This is not the type that should come to my door again

Ordered food today via the site, received it after an hour and then the order was not complete. Of the 5 dishes, 2 were not delivered. I called back and the woman said: That's right, it's still here, I didn't remember which order it belonged to, so I'll just wait for your call... The remaining dishes were delivered within 10 minutes. The lady had offered me two more cans of soft drinks, but they were not included with the subsequent delivery, so she knows what she is offering...

Voor de eerste keer eten besteld (afhaal) en kan alleen maar zeggen dat het erg smaakvol en lekker was. We hadden een 3 persoons en een 1 persoons schoten en was voldoende voor 5 volwassenen en 1 kind. Het enige waar we even mis zaten was de hoeveelheid friet dat vonden we net even te weinig en had meer mogen zijn (ook voor 4 personen). We weten dat voor de volgende keer en bestellen een zal erbij.

Begin december hebben we hier met 5 personen gegeten. Eerst voorgerechten , waaronder lekkere mosselen. Als hoofdgerecht hadden we allerlei schotels, waarbij ikzelf de Athene schotel. De souzouki, souvlaki en giro’s heerlijk, van de mousaki heb ik alleen het gehakt op. Achteraf hadden we niet zoveel voorgerechten moeten nemen want nu konden enkele tafelgenoten het hoofdgerecht niet meer op. We kregen het vlees wel mooi in een bakje mee. Vriendelijk personeel.

Ordered via home delivery, but they just don't deliver. After waiting a long time, we called, only to get a super unfriendly lady on the phone, who simply said that we were very unlucky. They claim not to have received the order, but that is an excuse, or their system is bad. In both cases, do not order here, because before you know it you will run out of food.

Ordered a mixed grill for 2 people at 5 p.m. via their own website for self-collection. Within 5 minutes she called from the Greek corner, asking when I would come pick it up. I say in 15 minutes. The lady says, then we'll start, then the verse will be ready for you when you get here. When we picked it up they were just packing it up. We had a delicious meal at home and couldn't eat it all. It's just a lot of meat. The rice, the fries and the meat, everything was just as tasty as I would expect from a Greek restaurant. We will definitely order here more often and pick it up ourselves. I found the lady in the restaurant very friendly and helpful. I find it a bit less attractive to eat there on site. Maybe in the summer outside on a summer evening we seem a bit more atmospheric.

Delivery took 1.5 hours and food was lukewarm. Grill dish with few giros. Fries were nice and crispy. Unfortunately not for me anymore.

Previously we always ordered here, and the meat was always tasty, until we once had a bad experience. From then on we always went to Cherssonisos. Now we tried it again to give the benefit of the doubt. The quantity was very little, and that was a good thing on second thought. We had the surf and turf platter for €50. What a mockery. Shrimp disgusting, like dog vomit in texture, salmon way overcooked, Gordon Ramsay would have beaten it to a pulp if it wasn't already mousse. The lamb chop and the souflaki had literally been cremated, a crematorium would be jealous of that. The ground beef burger was like sand, so dry. By the way, I would rather eat sand; it was that dirty. We threw 60% in the trash. Calamaris was tasty this time, which in 30% of the cases is normally tougher than the soles of the Dalai Lama's shoes. Really, the Greeks would be ashamed of you. You guys don't even know how to cook meat yet, seriously. You are 100% banned from Greece forever with this dish. €50 lighter and I am so grumpy now! Terrible.

Ordered and nothing delivered.. not reachable by phone!

Recomiendo encarecidamente visitar un restaurante griego. He estado allí un par de veces y la carne siempre estaba fresca, el servicio era agradable y el pedido se procesó rápidamente. El restaurante tiene un diseño interior interesante, te puedes imaginar que estás en Grecia.

Nice cozy Greek restaurant where it appears that most customers take away, but I advise you to just make a reservation and eat there. The food is very good and tasty with some specials in between and be sure to choose them from the menu. The owner is of course Greek and watches over the guests and the quality. A Greek corner that everyone should discover once when you are in Eindhoven.

Poorly accessible, order a pita gyros and it will be delivered in 3 hours. When I try to call them to cancel, they don't answer! I just have to eat on time for my medication, now that's no longer possible!

We bestelden eten waarbij we de vermelding kregen "bezorgen binnen 45 minuten " na ruim een uur probeerden we telefonisch contact te leggen, helaas onmogelijk. Uiteindelijk na bijna 2 uur in de auto gestapt om het te gaan halen. Ter plaatse bleek dat de bestelling net gereed was. SCHANDALIG!!!
