They don't answer when I call to order

Great restaurant! That's a pitty they are closing it permanently as from 1st December 2025 :(

The food is not worth the price. Despite being All You Can Eat, the price is completely absurd for the quality of the food. The sushi has no quality whatsoever, giant pieces that only serve to fill us up and leave us wanting more. The Tori Yaki sauce was completely burnt. Furthermore, €7.50 for a 0.75cl bottle of water and they even charged us €1.75 for a glass of water! I do not recommend it at all, especially for those who want to eat good sushi. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures.

Well, very impersonal. Like a junkyard. The food is mediocre, the service is poor, very poor. They almost throw things on the table, and empty plates aren't taken away.

Food is below average. Service is bad, staff not friendly. Atmosphere is fine, good music.

The food is terrible, everything is terribly prepared, the sauce is terrible, the service is terrible, you have to pay extra even if you haven't eaten a small piece, it just tastes awful. No cold dishes, drinks are mandatory in this restaurant and you have to pay for them. It tastes like it came from the refrigerator, because it was prepared yesterday and isn't fresh. Simply awful. In the refrigerator, the smells and flavors are mixed, and the fish smells awful. The cucumber smells like fish, that's because of the refrigerator. I'm going to take it to the refrigerator.

My favorite sushi place in Eindhoven and the surrounding area. They have excellent sushi, both for delivery and to eat in. I've never had the hot dishes delivered, but they're also delicious in the restaurant! They also have a great dessert buffet with pastries, ice cream, and fresh fruit, just in case you're not completely full from the main course!

We went with the à la carte option, which was a great choice. The menu is rich and allows you to try different dishes in smaller portions, turning the table into a real feast. Service was very quick and everything was delicious. I’m already looking forward to going back.

More than half of the food didn't arrive. We ordered so many things and saw nothing. We showed proof of our order's QR code, and they said, "Yeah, that round is already over." Even though that round wasn't even brought to us. It's just ridiculous what kind of restaurant this is. We will never come back. What a terrible restaurant.

Delicious food, not too cheap! But definitely worth a visit.

Amazing restaurant. The meals are equal to the price and really delicious, large choice of sushi and other asian specialties. Service is really caring and attentive to the guests even if the place is busy. Atmosphere inside is cozy and the whole place has fancy design and is perfect for rainy days.

Sushi could be better. There's a male Japanese staff that is very friendly with kids, with the exception of a grumpy old Japanese woman who wasn't nice to us as she rudely removed the water I came with on my table!

Far too little meat, I expected more

Great restaurant. Scan the QR code and you can simply order with your phone. The food is truly fantastic, with all the small dishes so you can really try a lot. Highly recommended.

Good sushi place to get buffet. Service is quick when requesting via the app. If you order in time for the next round you're sorted. Nice front house, servers and the place is a nice quiet place to sit down and eat.

The food is edible. There's not a huge selection. The service is otherwise good! When we were there, there was only arguing among the staff. Food was thrown at another staff member, and we witnessed it while we were eating.

Bad place, not recommended. Everything is tough and comes from the fridge. The ice cream has almost melted in the freezer and looks disgusting. Service could also be better.

A Japanese friend of mine recommended this restaurant, so I decided to visit — and I was very satisfied with the experience.🍣🍜🍹 I've been feeling a bit homesick and missing authentic Asian food, and this place truly delivered. The atmosphere also reminded me of being back in Asia, which added to the overall experience. Since it's an all-you-can-eat sushi place, I honestly didn’t expect much in terms of quality. However, the sushi was surprisingly fresh and delicious. The rice portions were small, which allowed me to try a variety of different pieces — something I really appreciated. My husband usually doesn’t enjoy raw fish, but even he found the sushi fresh and ate quite a lot. The shrimp tempura was also very tasty.🍤💫 The staff were all very polite and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. From now on, this will be my go-to place whenever I’m craving sushi. 本当におすすめです〜💖

Food was tasty, service friendly.

Good sushi place. Cozy and pretty big place. All you can eat is 36 euro excluding drinks and some side items(that are pretty good sushi). We ordered without all you can eat but it was not that much cheaper.

Great place to eat all inclusive.

Tonight we had dinner with 2 people at Sakana, unfortunately it was very disappointing. The sushi was okay, but not special. The side dishes were all just not right. In the end we had to pay €90. A lot of money for an evening that was very disappointing. The staff was friendly.

I have an shellfish allergy. The first two servers couldn’t understand my Dutch or English well enough to understand that fact. The third server answered me with “its at your own risk.” Eventhough all I ordered was chicken strips and sweet potato chips. Whilst eating the waitress were very eager to take side dishes away, so much so they had taken the wasabi and ginger away before we finished our meal and almost took a bowl of rice teriyaki away by assuming we where done eating that portion. Also the sweet potatoes where raw. If you want a quick meal for cheap this is the place for you. As your whole order arrives within 5 minutes. This is what I call a fast food cuisine.

Sushis were clearly already made in advance, because they were ready way too quickly and were tough

Something new again, a full-fledged wine bar. A selection of good wines. Nice atmosphere and enthourage. Tasty tapas. Professional friendly service.

We were 4 people and we had only 2 round. However u can have 4 round. Every time u choose 5 dish per person. And with 40+ euro u have 20 dish choice. Is usually too much, so I recommend to choose small dishes, otherwise 2 euro penalty for each unfinished dish. And I wish drinks were included to Royal set since it’s not small amount of money. Overall it was good experience, service was quick, food was tasty, and u have also desserts included.

I order half of it doesn't come or other food comes on the table I ask for cutlery and some extra things also don't come then I indicate that. they say yes sorry you have to pay first and next time better scandalous I really don't think that's acceptable

You can order unlimited food for 2 1/2 hours per person. 2 dishes per round. Eating and drinking via the app. Desserts can be found as a buffet and as much as you like. Reasonable range of good quality food. Friendly staff. Nice meal. There is also a choice for people who don't like sushi or are vegetarian. Reservations recommended.

Best sushi place, really Fast service, in calm hours perfectttt

We have been there with my wife and our 4 years old kid who is really picky about food and only thing she would ever eat at that restaurant is fries. Me and my wife wanted all you can eat menu and they tried to sell all-you-can-eat to our daughter as well, we said she doesn’t eat these food, we will only order fries for her separately and they hardly accepted that. After that, they warned us at our table multiple times about the existence of their camera system and they will be watching us, if our daughter eats anything from our all-you-can-eat orders, they are gonna charge us with that. This is insulting and I hope you watched the cameras to see if she has eaten anything. I would gladly add another menu for her if she has but she didn’t and ahe wouldn’t as we already stated. Never going there again.

I visited the restaurant last Friday after reading some good reviews, and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. Upon arrival, we were offered two options: the all-you-can-eat menu for around €36 or à la carte, which we chose. However, the food was a major disappointment. The sushi rice was inconsistent—sometimes it was overcooked, other times undercooked, and there were even pieces that seemed to have been cooked days ago. To make matters worse, some of the sushi pieces were almost frozen, while others appeared to have been deep-fried, which completely ruined the freshness and texture. I also decided to try octopus sushi, something I had never seen before, and it was like eating a piece of rubber—completely unappetizing. At some point, I thought, okay, a few beers are going to save the day, so I ordered a Japanese beer called Asahi (I believe I'm spelling it right). Unfortunately, they didn’t bring it cold—the glass was hot from the dishwasher, and the beer was served at room temperature, making the experience even worse. Given the reputation of the restaurant, I expected much better. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Had dinner yesterday with 4 people. Very nice man who showed us the place, very friendly. Friendly staff, just polite please and thank you, but that's about it. They don't really look at you and don't tell you what they put on your table. The sushi is not really special, I have eaten better sushi and the rest of the dishes were just not that good. I wouldn't eat there a second time. Quality of the food below par for us. There is still much room for improvement in terms of freshness and taste of the dishes! The hot dishes are also not hot, really luke warm, everything is not tasty either. Missed opportunity this.

Pretty good sushi restaurant. I've eaten a bit better sushi then I had when I went there, but was still nice and quick service

We took all-you-can eat lunch menu and it was an utter disappointment. You can choose very limited selection of foods, and those that are available lack taste. We kept ordering grilled nigiri rolls because they were the only tasty options. I requested wasabi which didn’t have any taste? It literally tasted like sand. The only positive side was the service as everyone was kind and attentive. I don’t think I will ever come to this place again since it was a waste of money.

We were warmly welcomed and given a cozy spot by the window. Fast service, food was tasty, lots of choice of different dishes. Drinks were quite pricey. Lots of choice from dessert buffet. Definitely worth it

Khuduja was of course quite nervous because Sam is so handsome and tough and all. But because Doevoet was there, who always makes everything not only fun, cozy but also special, it didn't matter at all that the food was really less than the company restaurant of construction company "onsbouwt". I thought it was a lot about dirty things :-(

I really liked the food, but the service wasn't great. No happy faces and therefore the atmosphere was a bit less. They gave you food and immediately walked away.

I tried a rice with sweet chicken, I don’t like it very much, they put a lot of sweet sauce in it, I recommend to put much less so then you can enjoy better the rice. But they were super nice at service.

The service was nice and fast, the waiters were kind. The food was ok. We took Teriaky chicken with rice and Sweet & sour fish with rice. It was a bit oily for my taste. The side dish cucumbers were nice and sweet. These dishes could be improved.

The food was fine and the personal was friendly. It is certainly not the tastiest sushi ever, but the price-quality ratio is excellent.

First time I went to Sakana exactly three years ago and have been going there periodically (once or twice a month) so I think to be pretty reliable. In the beginning the quality of the food was really excellent. It is still good but has gotten worse over these three years. Furthermore, the price of all-you-can-eat formula has increased by approximately 15% so my rating of the quality/price ratio is 6/6.5 out of 10. What hasn't changed is the kindness and helpfulness of the waiters

It didn't make any sense at all. We were out for dinner for a friend's birthday. The food was dry and just plain dirty. Look, it's a sushi restaurant, but the chicken was simply bone dry. The controls also made no sense. It felt like a drive by shooting, it wasn't even busy and the plate was not even thrown on the table and no one even looked at the table, just stared straight ahead and quickly threw it on the table. Our drinks were placed on the edge of the table not even near us. I had so much faith in this restaurant and it was just complete rubbish. You better go to Soho. -1/10

It's a shame that most dishes are served with sweet sauces. And unfortunately a lot of it is fried. Sushi and grill is on the facade. Frying yes, no grilling!

I've been many times and have always had a decent meal. Yesterday unfortunately I ate in a place with badly dressed waiters without a decent uniform, dirty aprons... the sushi was badly made, I'm talking about the rice, in short, overall much worse. Despite the higher prices the quality has dropped a lot!

Food was very good. Staff could only be a bit friendlier. Food was literally pushed onto the table. There was also no information provided as to whether everything was satisfactory.

Advantage: you can order 5 things per round and your waiting time is 5 minutes, so that was nice. The food comes very quickly, even if you order hot food, so the question is whether that is a good sign, you could sometimes notice that they wanted to rush through it quickly. We ordered beef rolls with cheese, half of the cheese was not melted. The taste was not good or too salty or too much mayo or there was no taste. You could see or taste many things that it is the cheapest product you can get from the supplier. I often eat sushi, especially all you can eat, but here I had difficulty choosing what I wanted because I didn't really like it. We ordered roasted tuna, the tuna was ice cold and was super tough and cut so thick that you couldn't bite through it properly. Their fried sushi roll comes from a wholesaler, so it is not made or rolled themselves. The atmosphere is quite cozy and there was a waitress who I liked and helped a lot. I think we sat here for 1.5 hours, which we normally don't do, but we just didn't want to order anything more so we left. We chose the deluxe and each drank 2 soft drinks (we were 2 people). Our bill was 97.2 euros, we thought this was a waste of our money and certainly not worth it. If you don't care about taste but want to eat a lot and quickly, come here. Sometimes food that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm. Ps for people who have difficulty walking, the toilet is down a flight of stairs. After a while when we drove home we both got stomach aches and pains in our stomachs and a nauseous feeling, this was caused by the food. I just don't know which part of the food or the raw fish or meat or something else.

Always tastes good, come here regularly, there is always room, good service, friendly. Occasionally things go wrong with bringing the good dishes to the right table, but this is rare. Definitely recommended

Before we went to Guus Meeuwis, we wanted to eat something in town. We had not made a reservation, but fortunately there was still room at this restaurant. We were assigned a cozy spot (u-shaped arrangement). The staff was very friendly and the food was served very quickly. The food was really delicious and the portions were just right. In short, it couldn't have been better! We are from Groningen, but would definitely eat here again if we are in Eindhoven again.

Just came in and the food was not great, the things we ordered were either overcooked and had no taste. It was also noticeable that after ordering it was on the table within 1 minute, these dishes are all ready and warmed up behind us. then ask yourself why? We don't know, my friend and I got very sick from this (food poisoning) and ultimately got half of our money back and then did not give a "bad" review to continue the company as best as possible, would you like to join us? this warning not to eat here!!

Really the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in, 2 people and then 1 drink per person for 80 euros, and what do you actually have. The bad sushi ever. It's super dry and really nasty. And if you see other reviews about them having fast service. That's right. A little too fast. The food arrived in 3 minutes. Even the meat. Then you start to wonder how they can make 10 dishes with sushi and meat and everything in 3 minutes. Well, almost not. Halfway through the 2nd round we were both so sick that we said we want the receipt and left. I told the employee that it was not edible and that it made us all sick, then he told other employees and after talking to 4 employees I got 16 euros back from them. Then I walked outside and they started talking about a pancake, (didn't order a pancake, no idea what they were talking about) and then the owner or something walked out to say that he could give more back so then I got an additional 30 euros back. Presumably to ensure that I don't write a review or something, but if you have such a bad restaurant and then try to bribe people, something is also wrong. SO PEOPLE BE WARNED!

I ordered food which is really delicious. But the delivery person was really not polite. I had to come down from the attic and when I opened the door he had almost driven away. Said I had rang the bell, gave the food and drove away angrily...

Deep fried shrimp is awesome. Sushi is tasty. Ginger is extra paid and it's not nice, very sour.

I went there as a tourist and ate there. The food was served very quickly, unlike some other restaurants. The service is good but there aren't many dessert options. The food is okay. I'll definitely go back to eat there again.

The food was tasty, but what really set the mood for me and took away my enjoyment was the way the staff was addressed by the owner, this was humiliated and disrespectful, I understand that sometimes your boys and girls still have to learn something, but addressing this was not done in private, this just happened in front of your guests, I just felt sorry for the staff. I also found it very uncomfortable that they did not have a separate room to change clothes, but had to do this in the toilets where guests also use them. Normally I give something extra, but in this case I didn't do it because I doubted whether it came from the staff themselves, I didn't have the confidence in that. I hope that the boss will do something with this constructive criticism and learn how to deal with staff on the work floor, but also behind the scenes because the better you take care of your staff, the much more you get in return, that is called Karma😏

We ordered all you can eat sushi and sushi was not fresh, especially the rice was old and we could not finish our foods. We ordered shrimps and they were smelly. We wanted to talk to manager and they said he is not here now which I find hard to believe. I will never come here again.

We had to wait an hour for our order. Salmon that was ordered was delivered ice cold. Sushi rice was too hard. Too bad this was my first and last time. Very bad that nothing was done with it. Badly organised!

Chaotic restaurant, ordering with QR code on your own phone is not convenient. The restaurant does not look very clean, everything is piled up on tables everywhere and there is all kinds of stuff on the floor. Quality of the food, not really high. If it is too busy, the orders will not come, or you will have to wait a very long time.

Delicious food again. Extra points for the nice gentleman who worked there who did not speak Dutch very well but still radiated pure friendliness and was very enthusiastic about his work!

We arrived to have dinner 1 hour and a half before closing and they were always rushing us and being rude by coming to the table multiple times to collect plates with food and glasses full and we had to ask to please not take the food because we were eating. It was very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. The waiters were staring and we were always smiling and thanking for the service cuz im also a waitress and was trying to understand their behavior. We couldn't even eat what we wanted cuz one of the waiters said that they wouldn't serve more food (it was 21:10). I would rather be refused a table than be treated that way Conclusion: We were there for 30 minutes, left the restaurant hungry and spent 70 euros for two rounds with 10 pieces each. Do not recommend if you value kindness and a good service

Sat with Sakana for two and a half hours. Being able to order three rounds, of which more than half of the dishes were not delivered. When we wanted to order a fourth round, time was up. Sakana did not want to know anything about compensation for the costs. Laconic response from the staff. Extremely bad service. The restaurant was far too full and the staff could not keep up. Left the table hungry. Never again.

I went recently, the orders took a while to arrive, but the time was enough. Everything was on point and tasty! I liked!

For Unlimited sushi, it was quite a nice surprise! Usually you don't expect great quality, but here it was generally pretty good. Fast and efficient service. Sober and pleasant decor. We will come back.

Went to this restaurant yesterday! We thought we were going to eat delicious sushi, but it was so bad that we simply couldn't eat it. Dry and no taste at all... after 2 rounds we were done with it. We then went for the fish, salmon was good and my wife had whitefish and scampi, but they never arrived! After waiting about 35 minutes for this, we ordered some meat, a lamb chop, which was full of fat and so small there was almost no meat on it. And those were the dishes we had. We were done with it and were back outside within an hour!! And that for 90 euros

The open buffet is really nice, however unlike other open buffets you order 5 dishes per person. Also you are obligated to buy a drink which does not come with the open buffet. In conclusion it's a good place and I would recommend visiting it.

Worst sushi ever - stay away! The wasabi was so hard you had to use an axe to break it. The ginger came right from a glass, dripping wet. The sushi ras dry and not eatable. Grumpy personell, and either my husband or I got the drinks we ordered.

Wij zijn een aantal keer tot tevredenheid bij Sakana in Den Bosch geweest ,dus toen we in Eindhoven een Sushi restaurant zochten was de keuze snel gemaakt. Maar wat een tegenvaller is dit restaurant de sushi en de diverse gerechten zijn niet goed genoeg de Tafel plakte en de bediening onvriendelijk op een enkeling na . Voor mij geen Sakana meer ook niet in Den Bosch

Heerlijk gegeten. Service was goed

Er was een tijd dat dit restaurant het boegbeeld voor sushi fans in Eindhoven was, maar tegenwoordig voelt het meer als een vettige ordinaire vreetschuur waar je van geluk mag spreken als niet de helft van je eten word vergeten door het personeel, dit geld ook wanneer je eten laat bezorgen. Ook zijn hun pokebowls sinds kort ruim 2 euro duurder geworden en krijg je er aanzienlijk minder topping op wat echt teleurstellend is, want ik bestel hier veel en vaak, gezien dit mijn go-to sushi plek is voor thuisbezorgen. Misschien dus tijd om maar eens andere restaurant opties te overwegen. Een plus punt, wanneer je het thuis laat bezorgen is de sushi over het algemeen altijd heerlijk en vers gemaakt.
