We had a delicious meal, and the spicy flatbread with the chili shrimp is a real bonus! We didn't have to wait too long: the appetizer and main course arrived in a good hour and a half, even though it was busy! The service was excellent, and they checked in with us neither too often nor too little. A great experience!

Cozy location. Good food and friendly staff. I go there regularly. Enjoy a nice beer on the terrace. I was surprised when my Affligem Blond on tap suddenly came in a regular beer glass. It was a 20cl beer glass, and it was neatly placed on top. The week before, they served the same beer in a goblet glass. That's how it should be to enjoy something (capacity between 25 and 30cl). The price was the same, though. A perfect example of shrinkflation. A 20% price increase!!!! It's a shame, isn't it? (I called. The response was even more depressing. That's just how it goes.)

Ordered several starters and sushi and shared them. The food was good, but the service was very disappointing. Some dishes were no longer available, orders that go wrong or take too long.

Fine, nothing special. Standard menu, and sometimes you have to ask for drinks yourself.

There is not much choice in terms of non meat option...the vegetarian risotto was full of oil and flavourless which was so disappointing ...it's a nice looking place and the staff were friendly enough...

Good and cozy atmosphere. My wife and I went for breakfast via social deals and this was really great delicious. Also the service is super relaxed, which makes the atmosphere also relaxed. We will definitely go there again

Visit to Het Hart van Vlaardingen was downright bad. Food Tasteless, lukewarm and seemed more like reheated than freshly prepared. Service Staff was disinterested and rude. They hardly looked after the guests. Atmosphere: Unsociable, messy and without atmosphere. It felt like you were not welcome. This was a real waste of my time and money. Absolutely not recommended.

I ordered a sandwich avocado with salmon, When i took my last bite i saw a little worm. I told the staff and they did nothing about it. I didn’t even ask for something new, just told them to check it so other people wouldn’t get sick. I also wanted my money back but that also didn’t happen. Very sad about that, because i loved to go to this place.

The food was mediocre. Meat was little for what you had to pay for it. The food was also lukewarm for 2 companions. We did eat it because the taste was good. This was passed on. We were 6 people. The dish the three of us had chosen did not come with fries. Because we wanted fries with it, it cost €4.50 per portion The other 3 people had fries with their dish, even though those dishes were much cheaper. Weird system this!! Either there are fries with every dish, or you have to pay for the fries with every dish. Service was super friendly and a nice atmosphere. This afternoon we wanted to have a drink on the terrace. Found a table but there was still food leftovers on the table. Apparently no cloth is wiped over the table when removing the dishes. Point of attention!!! It took a while before we got the attention of the waitresses (while it wasn't busy) they walked straight past you. Also a Points of Attention! The rest went smoothly.

Great atmosphere and food neat and tasty. Interior very dark, toilets clean, very loud music. Price mid.

Het Hart van Vlaardingen is a very cozy restaurant with very cheerful, pleasant and knowledgeable staff. The food is varied, there is something for everyone and it is all equally tasty. Definitely recommended to eat once!

It is an ideal place to have a drink. A cozy atmosphere and the 🍹 was very delicious. In addition to the patatas bravas, which had little in the way of bravas. But considering that I don't like the original patatas bravas, they were delicious. The only downside was that it was a little busy and they forgot the potatoes the first time I ordered them. But the staff is very friendly

Ate here last night, I found it a bit disappointing, the spot where we sat, in the middle of the shop, right at the door when you enter, in winter there is always cold air coming in and people standing directly behind you. I don't think this place is suitable! We went for share dinning, but that wasn't there at all, or couldn't be found on the menu, so you each ordered one main course and we could divide it ourselves, each with our own plate or change plates..., but that's what share dinning is like. In my opinion not. Chose the spareribs but there was very little meat in them and the fries were cold. This is a bit of a shame. I wouldn't choose the restaurant for dinner again. Don't miss out for a drink because the cocktails were beautifully served! We saw it at the others.

Lunch was nothing special. Soup was lukewarm and more salad like carpaccio on the sandwich.

Had a really nice afternoon! Celebrated our birthday with my best friends. They even put up balloons. What a beautiful place, delicious food and super friendly staff. High tea is highly recommended (and so are the cocktails haha) thanks!

Nice atmosphere and vibe, quick in service

The welcome was very friendly and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The only minor downside was that the controls were not completely coordinated; forgot an order. Nevertheless, the food was really good and delicious in taste. Definitely recommended if you are in the area! It definitely makes it worth it.

An average of 4.1 is too low for this top restaurant! Very attractive restaurant, richly decorated, with good service and above all delicious food! The satay is highly recommended. Nice music too. A place to sit for a long time and come back again!

Cozy and beautiful place in the center of Vlaardingen. Good and friendly service. Now sitting inside, but when the weather is nice you can also sit outside on the terrace.

I maybe just had bad luck, but bland fish, undercooked couscous and a very salty sauce. My friends did like their food, the dessert was very nice!

We thought we would have a pleasant evening with good food on the occasion of two birthdays. It was not exactly a warm welcome because people immediately complained about the fact that we came in with 13 instead of 12 people. This could cause major problems for the kitchen for the lady in question, as they had purchased for 12 people. Is it special that a kitchen depends on 1 extra person? And why did you buy it for 12 people? We didn't have a pre-discussed menu? Then we were helped the entire evening by a waitress with a ponytail and a long face who clearly wanted us to leave as quickly as possible. We were hardly asked if we wanted something to drink and when she came it was “do you need anything?”. A boy who helped us did his best and remained friendly. In short, it put a damper on the evening and we left after paying a bill of no less than €700! We will never come here again!

I just spontaneously walked in here on a Sunday afternoon and took a seat on the heated terrace outside. Very friendly service and very accommodating. We saw bread with beef croquettes on the menu, but we really fancied fries too. Our waitress said no problem, I'll just serve the croquettes with fries. Simply TOP and what delicious croquettes too! Excellent wine served with it, all in all very satisfied with both the friendly service and the food!

We ordered lemonade when we wanted to order food, my girlfriend called the waiter 3 times, they see it but turn their heads away and they don't come, rude behavior when people want to order something and the staff does not respond, but when paying € Asking 7.50 euros for 2 x lemonade, he knew what it cost and just said something. Bad service, way too expensive. We left hungry because the waiter didn't think it was necessary to help us any further. It's that my friend had the courtesy to pay for the overpriced drink, but if you ignore me twice when I beckon you. Can you kiss my ass for me! What a place to cry about!!

07.09 sat outside on the terrace, good balance between sun and shade. In terms of maintenance and cleaning, the terrace could be improved slightly, bird droppings on the sofa and dirty parasols and tiles. The service was good! Young, friendly and helpful, no long wait at all to order. Neat attention to the guest. In terms of food, perhaps a little more balance, risotto is a lot and the steak is minimal. The overall picture is good, very satisfied guest!

Delicious food and a nice atmosphere here

Food is generally tasty! Only last time the hamburger was still completely red on the inside. The service is much worse in the evening than during the day, you are simply not asked a second time if you want a drink. Not even if your glasses have been empty for half an hour and you're trying to get your attention. Missed opportunity as far as I'm concerned. The service is much better at lunch!

Lovely restaurant for a well tasting diner. Friendly staff. Menu options for vegetarian choices are minimal. Had a mistake made in my order but after mentioning it they quickly corrected the order.

For a birthday with 4 people, we had dinner at Hart van Vlaardingen. Nice restaurant, good cozy atmosphere. Service was fine. We had the bavette. Was delicious meat, well cooked. Dorade and diamond hare was also very tasty. Prices are in good proportion. In short, you can eat well and deliciously here.

Nice place and from what I've heard it has become even better than it already was in recent years. If it is busy you have to wait a while until something is served. However, this is the case in many restaurants these days.

The best restaurant in Vlaardingen! The food is delicious and decently priced, service is friendly and the restaurant looks and feels chic and cozy. We can highly recommend the ribs and burger, they're fantastic!

11-06-2024 This evening I tried the high cocktail with a friend. What a success this was. We had three courses, each course with a different cocktail and a different flavor package. I myself have a nut allergy and this has been fully taken into account. Really highly recommended. If you want to have a nice evening with friends or your loved one and enjoy yourself, then you should definitely do this!! 🍸 M

Always nice at Het Hart.. friendly service and good food. Haven't had any bad experiences here.

If you order food you have to order your fries separately and if you order a beer you get the wrong glass. The service is reasonable, but if you order fish you need a fish knife and not an ordinary knife. All in all it's overpriced for what you get.

My partner politely asked for an extra bag of sweets with his coffee. The waitress threw 7 on the table with a grumpy face. What a service… There goes your tip.

Had dinner at Hart van Vlaardingen with a group of 8 people. The food was great and the staff are the best I have ever seen in the catering industry. All equally nice, friendly and helpful. Great service! Other restaurants can really follow this example. I will definitely come back here again!

I have to eat gluten free and there were several options. The staff neatly placed my order slightly to the side of the table. Very nice experience. I ate gluten-free sandwiches with olive oil and spareribs with fries. It came with a nice sauce. And a delicious mocktail....Great!!

Gezellig avondje gehad en lekker gegeten! Het was flink druk maar ook wel heel sfeervol. Personeel wist ondanks het heen en weer rennen er een glimlach bij te houden zodra ze aan de tafel kwamen. Het eten was heerlijk en RUIM voldoende! Het toetje was echt genieten! Klein minpuntje aan het toetje: op de kaart stond v.a. 2 personen maar 3 personen kon dan weer niet. Dit was een beetje jammer, maar voor 2 personen was prima te delen met zijn drietjes! De presentatie was echt top! 😍 De cocktails waren erg lekker en er is ruim voldoende andere keuze op de drankenkaart ook aan 0.0 opties. Voor ieder wat wils dus. Toen er ineens dj begon te spelen ging het volume wel wat omhoog.. wat resulteerde in dat het gespreksvolume ook overal omhoog ging. Muziek was verder prima! Mochten we weer eens in de buurt zijn, dan komen we vast nog eens langs! Absoluut een aanrader!

Topavond gehad op 25 december. Hartelijk ontvangst. Genoten van een heerlijk diner. We hadden als hoofdgerecht gekozen voor een beef Wellington van hert. Erg lekker, met name de vulling was uitstekend. Prima wijntje erbij. De dames van de bediening hadden zich feestelijke aangekleed en de koks hadden hun beste beentje voorgezet. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Kerstavond menu, eten was heel goed, mooi gepresenteerd en lekker, geen lange wachttijd, vriendelijke en nette bediening

Het vroegere Pannenkoekenhuis, of Hofnar. Hoe dan ook. Het hart is super gezellig. Leuke hoekjes en tafeltjes waar je kunt zitten en kletsen en genieten van wat het hart te bieden heeft. Wij hebben met een groep van acht personen een high tea gedaan, en die was super. Kleine broodjes, zoete hapjes en zo veel thee als we op konden. En dat was veel. Mede dankzij de onzettend vriendelijke bedienong hebben we een geweldige middag gehad.

Schitterende zaak! Geen koffie huis meer met grootmoe's kleedjes op tafel maar meer een hipster aankleding. Met een gemêleerd publiek, jong en oud. Met een gevarieerde kaart en dito drank. Prima voor je diner ( vergeet niet te reserveren) of voor een drankje. Met vriendelijk en kordaat personeel. Waarom toch maar 4 sterren ipv 5? Ik denk dat de prijzen voor het eten iets te hoog zijn. Eten is prima maar de grootte van de porties viel mij tegen. Laat dit je niet tegenhouden, reserveer en probeer!

Goede,vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Het concept is voornamelijk shared-dining. Maar als je niet wilt delen,dan kan dat ook. Veel verschillende keuzes aan frietjes en sauzen. Ik vond zoete aardappelfrietjes erg lekker.

Prijs kwaliteit verhouding was prima. Fijne bediening. Vriendelijk, snel. Zou hier zeker terugkomen.
