A truly lucky spot! Luckily, I still had a spot for my campervan in the parking lot. You're greeted by a very colorful and charming shop with original products. As you walk through, you see the greenhouse with beautiful flowers. There was a line at the checkout, but the staff works hard and efficiently. Everyone is very friendly and enthusiastic! The garden is large and beautiful. You can sit wherever you like, and the chickens are perfectly happy with everything. They walk right underneath you, which creates a very pleasant view! All the food is beautifully decorated with flowers. It's a small effort, but it makes such a difference. Everything tasted truly delicious. No complaints! I thoroughly enjoyed it 🌿

Great atmosphere, no question, but please stay away from the espresso. Never had such a brew for 3.20 a cup before. Please adjust your Nuova properly. It's really not tasty. The cake was excellent.

This is one of our favorite spots in Zeeland! The shop has a lovely selection of local and fair-trade products. The food is excellent and made with love. The greenhouse is a lovely spot, but if possible, go outside; there are plenty of seating areas, and plenty of opportunities to play and explore. Highly recommended.

It is a very lovely place with its own unique atmosphere. It is huge with lots of different places to sit. Food was fine, the prices were really reasonable. Lots of families with children there.

Discovered by chance. A nursery and an extra-large garden, very spacious and reserved for restaurant guests. Plenty of shady spots, generously spaced, with corners for peace and quiet. For children, there's an in-ground trampoline, a swing in the trees, and small playhouses. Parents can enjoy a coffee and a break in peace. A few free-range chickens also provide some variety at the table. We had bread with scrambled eggs, waffles with fruit, and an apple pie for dinner. Everything was delicious; the waffles had a special flavor thanks to a hint of cinnamon in the batter. The restaurant is self-service. Everything runs smoothly, but you do have to wait a bit. The restrooms were okay, but could use some updating. There's a separate diaper changing area.

A little paradise near Oostkapelle! Like Alice in Wonderland, once you enter the greenhouse, you discover more and more. A beautiful place with cozy seating, both inside and out. The food was very good and not at all expensive, compared to the prices and quality at many other locations in Zeeland. We had the homemade scones with clotted cream and a fantastic lemon curd, as well as scrambled eggs on delicious bread. The child had fruity, sugar-free ice cream. The cappuccino with oat milk was very good and, in my opinion, the best on the peninsula.❤️

Great experience, even with a dog (on a leash). Delicious lunch plus various options. Tasty drinks. Delicious cakes and scones. Maybe again this week. Great concept and low profile. Sat under the oak tree and enjoyed it. Walked around and looked at the beautiful gardens.

A truly exceptional location worth a visit. The garden is huge and there are plenty of lovely places to sit. We had incredibly delicious bread with egg salad and cheese. Definitely a recommendation! There are chickens running around everywhere. The line at the self-checkout was long, but still moved quite quickly. It's worth it!

A wonderful garden restaurant with plenty of different seating and self-service. The food is delicious, and you can tell that everything is high-quality and homemade. The cakes are especially recommended! The garden is incredibly spacious and includes a cute playground, chicken coops, and vegetable patches.

What a wonderful place for lunch! Plenty of parking, cozy decor both inside and out. You can choose your own spot and order at the counter. We enjoyed the sourdough bread with salmon and goat cheese, as well as the waffle with fruit and white chocolate. No long wait. Everything is fresh. It's very clean and tidy. There's also a nice little shop. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Zeeland!

What a lovely and special place! You can browse the shop at your leisure, and there was a very friendly staff member. They sell all sorts of things: (children's) books, felt garlands and flowers, cards, Foekje Fleur towels and tea towels, pots, etc. So lovely! There's a covered area between the shop and the restaurant, so children can play freely. Inside the classroom; what a lovely space! And the garden; wow. Wonderful! Especially fun for young children; paths to explore, playhouses, a swing, picnic tables, chickens, lots of flowers and greenery.

That's really nice! Greenhouse, large garden, lots of greenery. And delicious food to go with it! We'd love to come back! Only the sparkling wine wasn't drinkable. Too old, lacking in carbonation, and the color had already changed. But it was returned without discussion. You should find something else...

Very expensive and disappointing, everything hippy style!

A beautiful location where you can sit outside in nice weather. There are chickens roaming around, and it's beautifully maintained. The staff is very friendly. The food, however, was extremely disappointing; the price-quality ratio was completely wrong. The quinoa salad was bland and lacked any distinct flavor or bite. Definitely not worth €16.

A visit to the Kaslokaal in Oostkapelle: beautiful weather and a shady spot. A cozy atmosphere, thanks in part to the free-range chickens. The order was quickly taken, and we enjoyed a drink in the shade with a beeper. The food took a bit of a wait, but that wasn't a problem considering the crowds and the beautiful weather. The food we ordered was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it! For an elderly person with limited mobility, it was necessary to pay sufficient time and attention to the many steps up and down.

Such a great place! Really good food; vegan and gluten-free options available. Very friendly staff. The garden is magical. We'll be back.

Lovely spots, both sunny and shady. The various nooks and crannies and the size of the garden make you feel like you're truly away from the crowds. The food is of excellent quality. Allergens are clearly indicated. There are plenty of options, even for vegetarians. A nice bonus is the little shop, worth a visit. And of course, strolling through the garden itself is definitely worth it!

We had a delicious lunch and wonderful coffee and cake afterward. Lots of nice spots to sit, both inside and outside.

It's fun to visit, the service is friendly. The garden has some lovely corners, but wasn't very well-maintained. The price and quality/quantity are out of whack: Hague coffee and tea. The shop has a good selection of children's books, cookbooks, and gifts.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We visited and each had a coffee. The highlight, in my opinion, is the restaurant's garden, which isn't visible from the street. It's huge and offers all sorts of seating options. Individual niches separated by hedges make it very comfortable to sit in the greenery and enjoy a coffee or a piece of cake. The garden also houses animals like chickens, which are allowed to roam freely and occasionally greet guests with their meals. Personally, I was worried before my visit that the restaurant might be disturbed by noise from the nearby street, but this was completely unfounded. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area again!

The Apple Pie Tour #11 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and a half Great atmosphere. You sit outside among the plants in the sun or shade. The apple pie is delicious, but it has almond paste, which makes it a bit too much. It's a personal preference.

A slice of sourdough bread with a minimalist topping of goat cheese and figs is completely overpriced at €14.90 – self-service. Never again!

Beautiful, large, mature, romantic garden with plenty of shady seating. Dogs are welcome. The cakes are fantastic. Gluten-free strawberry and rhubarb crumble is super delicious. No service, self-service.

Very spacious tea garden, with nice gazebos. Handy ordering system for such a surface. Quality of sandwiches was mediocre, and certainly too expensive for what was offered.

Super nice place. This weekend, in addition to a nice little shop, they also had a market in the greenhouse. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with lots of plants, a bit warm inside, but that's what you get in a greenhouse! It's like being in a small jungle. The garden is also beautifully cared for and definitely recommended to come and see for yourself!! Tip, walk all the way to the back to find the cutest vegetable garden :D

Great cafe! Good coffee (also caffeine-free) and delicious freshly homemade pastries (at the counter you can see into the kitchen and watch them baking 😍) There are greenhouses, a playground and the beautiful garden has lovingly designed seating areas.

You can choose a free spot in the garden after ordering at the front counter. When the food is ready you will be notified by a beeper. Very tasty bowl! Totally recommended!

Unfortunately, the plants in the greenhouse were removed and wooden flooring was installed to make room for more tables and chairs. The interior was converted into a playground with scooters, tractors.... As a result, it is now louder and more crowded inside. More seating options were also created outside. More visitors also increase the waiting time at the counter. Took 25 minutes to order ☕ 🥧.

Mijn ouders hebben het al zo lang over deze plek. En ja het was zeker uniek! De ambiance en hoe het eruit ziet, als het mooi weer is kan je heerlijk in de tuin zitten. Toen wij er waren was bijna alles afgehuurd voor een verjaardag dus het was vrij hectisch en zaten wij aan een tafel in de eerste kas bij de kinderspeeltuin. Maar toch heel lekker gegeten. Alles wordt hier vers en met liefde gemaakt en dat proef je ook. Ik kan de zoete lekkernijen in de vitrine ook zeker aanraden. Het is echt de moeite waard om hier te komen voor de lunch of koffie met gebak als je in Zeeland bent. Misschien wel aan te raden om te reserveren, hadden wij uiteindelijk ook maar beter kunnen doen. Als ik een minpuntje moet noemen is dat je alles bij de kassa moet bestellen en daar weer ophalen. Dat is op zich nog niet zo erg, maar dat is een smalle kleine ruimte en zeker als het heel druk is is dat krap want er lopen ook veel mensen langs en er staan veel mensen in de rij te wachten.

What a nice location this is! Very nice shop with super cool items. If you continue, you will enter the greenhouse and then the restaurant area. It all looked very nice. Order your own food at the counter. We both had a very tasty sandwich. Went outside to have a look in the garden. Also very cool! Let's take another look this summer so we can sit outside.

Het Kaaslokal is a must for us when we are in Zeeland. Without a lot of frills, but with delicious cakes and a winding outdoor area, you can always find a quiet corner to relax. Whether it's the swing in the old tree, the chickens that run around everywhere or the playground for the little guests - everything to relax and unwind. We'll see each other again next year.

After wanting to go there several times, we stopped here on our bikes today. In addition to a nice shop, you will find a very lovingly furnished self-service café here. You can then enjoy the delicious cake, apple pie, which is rarely eaten so well, in the spacious garden. An absolute tip!

Delicious brunch with sandwiches and soup. Well organized for 14 people. Under a beautiful tree, nicely decorated for the anniversary. Attractive, well-maintained garden with (free-roaming) chickens with nice seating areas. Very large garden behind it to stretch your legs and view several chickens. Large field for picnics or playing. Very nice shop with tea, plants, cards, etc.

Interesting and unusual café, with a great and unusual variety of cakes, embedded in an old and partly still operating "garden nursery" with a small park to enjoy the cuisine and drinks. Important information for dog owners, dogs are allowed, but be careful, there are sometimes chickens running around freely between the tables and chairs! It's best to take something to read with you and enjoy this beautiful place

Für EUR 3,40 eine Tasse Spülwasser statt Kaffee zu bekommen ist schon eine Zumutung, das kann auch die wunderschöne Umgebung, der Garten mit den vielen lauschigen Sitzplätzen nicht aufwiegen. Und für die Kuchenproduktion wäre zumindest das erste Lehrjahr einer Konditorlehre wünschenswert - schade, denn das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Umgebung etwas Besonderes, aber letztlich geht es ja um den Nachmittagskaffee.

What a beautiful place. We discovered it by accident. When we came through the nice shop into the greenhouse, we were rather disappointed - but when we passed the nice bar and into the garden we were blown away. You immediately feel like you are in paradise. There are various seating options loosely distributed throughout the idyllic garden. The food was also amazing, we immediately made a break for our breakfast 😉 Lots of vegan dishes and a lot of emphasis is placed on good products. We came back straight away in the afternoon and made ourselves comfortable with coffee and cake. Absolute recommendation!

Went there for the first time two years ago and came back several times this year. The cakes taste super delicious! You can find a place in the garden and relax. Every now and then a chicken stops by. The garden offers several options for retreat and never seems overcrowded or loud. A perfect place for coffee and cake after a long day!

Beautiful place. A spacious garden with many different places where you have a lot of privacy. Order at the counter and pick it up yourself when the buzzer goes off. Different types of pastries, looked good. We had a drink and a breadboard. Bread and spread were both good. Downside: Fritz Cola. That's worse than Pepsi 😉
